(e.g. a car mechanic who saved our holiday...) everything was wonderfully clean and super equipped. A highlight is certainly the large garden with the great view over the surroundings. The weather was sunny and hot, and there were plenty of shady corners in the garden. It is also nice and cool in the beautiful old stone house. The surrounding area offers many interesting excursions to castles, monasteries, old villages, nature and the sea. If you don't mind hills, bring your bike and make exciting discoveries. The hosts have great tips. Christine and Peter are simply wonderful, mindful and warm people and the encounter was very valuable for us. We would come back anytime and hope that our future holiday plans will take us to Breuil-Barret again."

Getting bread for breakfast did involve using my car to cover the 2 miles or so to the village. Payment is made in two stages:

If you wish to pay this second payment by check, holiday check or cash, please contact me, I will tell you the procedure to follow.

GUARANTEES AND MAINTENANCE OF RENTED PROPERTY.
- a deposit of 150 euros is required on arrival for any occupation of a gîte. The deposit is not cashed and kept. It is returned in full at the end of the stay if the following conditions are met:
a) the goods and materials entrusted to the tenant by the renter are returned clean and in good condition.
b) the toilets are clean and in good working order.
c) the evacuation to the sewer is not blocked.
d) floors and glazing are clean
Possibility of exemption from cleaning for the tenant against the payment of 40 euros.
e) the tenant's animal did not cause any damage or damage to the buildings or to third parties.
Any damage or damage caused, by the tenant or / and by his animal, to the goods of the renter or third parties will be estimated with the owner. The deposit of 150 euros will be reduced by this estimate. If the damage is greater and no agreement is agreed between the renter and the owner, a bailiff will be commissioned to settle the dispute.

In no case may the number of occupants of the accommodation be greater than its maximum capacity specified on the rental proposal.

POOL INFORMATION
The pool is outdoor, closed, but not covered. Access to the pool is protected by a gate with a secure lock. But the pool is not supervised by the rental company. It is therefore the responsibility of parents or responsible adults (friends, older brothers or sisters, for example) to protect minor children and ensure their supervision.
- From June 15 to September 15, 2018, the pool is heated (maximum 27 °) and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- at other times, the opening of the swimming pool and the water temperature are subject to favorable weather conditions.
- The pool basin (5 meters wide and 10 meters long) is flat-bottomed. The maximum water height is 1.50 meters.
The paddling pool overlooking the pool (2 X 2 meters) is flat-bottomed. The maximum water height is 0.40 meters.
