- "What a beautiful hotel! This is now one of our top 3 favorite hotels! The hospitality and service is top notch. The staff are so helpful even before our stay. I had inquired for various services and the staff were so prompt with their responses. The moment we arrived, they immediately took care of us especially traveling with a toddler. They got my daughter a teddy bear when we checked in. They let us check in early and they prepared a really cute crib with baby toiletries and baby slippers! It was a really nice touch. We also dined at their restaurants for most of our stays including the Gastronomic Restaurant. Everything we ate there is delicious. The breakfast buffet was impressive and the the Gastronomic experience was amazing! We also had requested for an onsite babysitter so we can celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to Mariana. She was an absolute sweetheart with our daughter. I can go on and on how wonderful this place is. Yeatman is voted one of the best hotel in Portugal and it exceeded our expectations. - "Melia Gaia Porto is a great hotel. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is just plain outstanding. The breakfast buffet was an incredible experience. The lunch at the restaurant is comparable to the best ever I had (the other one was at Grenoble, France) - the variety and the way the food is set up is very very inviting and so so so delicious. The elevator was a bit small. ront desk staff are professional and friendly, and the lobby is spacious and well laid out. The bed was comfy, though the TV was just normal - not plasma or flat screen. No coffee maker in the room. Shampoo and other items are top notch. The hotel is a bit far from downtown, but walk to Metro station is just 10 minutes, which can take to downtown. Porto airport is so beautiful, spacious and very well laid out. No need to ask anyone anything as the signs are very clear. Plus, once can catch the metro right at airport. The city itself is very nice, and things are not expensive. I will definitely visit Porto again, and of course, stay at Melia Gaia."

When we needed at rest from the sun and excitement, the garden and honesty bar at Caleway provided a relaxing and comfortable respite. We were sad to leave at the end of our 3 nights there."

- "An older apartment, but with nice amenities and close to everything. The underground parking is a plus! There is no air conditioning in the apartment, which made it uncomfortable at night, but the managers promptly brought us 2 fans, which helped. They were prompt to reply with everything. The only suggestion would be to adjust the checkout time to noon, for example. 10:00 AM is very tight to get everything packed and cleared out. Most hotels also wait until the guests are out of the room/apartment, whereas you were at the apartment at 10AM sharp waiting for us to leave. While you offered help to checkout, it also added to the pressure of getting out on time, which with 3 kids can sometimes be challenging. All in all, an excellent place to stay with great value for the money! Thanks for a great stay in Porto!"
