- "A very nice hotel in the Wulai area. The hotel is well designed, with art work or artistic decoration everywhere. The price of the room include 4 meals, in addition to dinner and breakfast, you also have afternoon tea, and a light late supper. There is a good show at 3:30pm outside the café where you have afternoon tea. A very good show, don't miss it. The dinner is also nice. They attended to details such as preference or allergic to food. The hotel would ask you well before you check in. Our room is facing the river, with a nice view and very quiet. Book a room with a river view, and don't forget to spare some time to enjoy the view. The hotel is a short wall from the Wulai old street, about 5-10min. Not a difficult walk, however, it is along a busy country road, with narrow pavement. It would be better if the hotel could provide shuttle bus to and from the Wulai old steet, so that the guest could avoid walking on this busy road. The hot spring bath is good, as expected for a hotel of this price range. However, the sauna rooms (both hot and dry) are disappointing. The temperature is too low for a decent sauna. And, the rooms seemed not well maintained. The price of the hotel is extremely expensive. Given the meals, services, shows, hot spring, river view, etc., this is understandable. "

The hiking route up to the top is quite hard, it’ll talk couples of hour to crimb up, make sure you get the proper raining gear and hiking poles. You may like to also take a boat ride along the lake which is just only 5mins walk and to XinDian MRT station is 10mins."
