We hadn’t planned for visiting this area close to the volcano, but Zafferana Etnea is a lovely town. Just know that you have to walk 15 min from the hotel to get into the centre, and that the streets from the hotel is not that welcoming. Nice Spa and Pool-area. PS: remember to bring swim cap."
