Welcome to your home base in Flushing! Our goal is to create a memorable home experience that you will adore the moment you enter.

Entry:
The big, airy foyer is tiled with concrete slabs with brass accents, that evoke an open air siheyuan courtyard. There is plenty of room to set down your luggage or shopping bags. You can take off your shoes and put on slippers if you choose.

Great Room:
As you pass through the wide pocket door into the main space, you enter an immersive modern interior designed to highlight clean lines, feng shui flow, big windows and natural light. Selected vintage pieces, many original to the apartment, impart a playful sense of history and the optimism of mid century design.

The open living area is made for congenial interaction, with a fluffy feathery sofa and plenty of flexible seating, perfect for chilling and chatting, or binging on some Netflix. There is also dedicated desk space for your laptop. There is a niche with a nap-ready daybed that can convert to two cot-sized beds or one queen. A wonderful nook to curl up in with a novel, the niche also has a record player and vintage records, mostly from the 80s, for some old-school analog entertainment.

Kitchen & Dining:
If you don’t feel like eating out at one of the many neighborhood restaurants (which include several in the Michelin guide), you can order in. Or you can cook in our well equipped kitchen. If we don’t have what you need, there’s a restaurant supply store a block away! Enjoy your meals at our super-instagrammable koi wallpaper banquette. Or dine at the vintage mid-century walnut table for 8. So go ahead, take your seats and bon appetit!

Bedrooms:
Both bedrooms are spacious and immaculate, modern yet cozy. Each has a Windmill window AC to keep you cool during the summer. We use quality linens to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We provide armoires with plenty of storage for all your stuff.

Bathrooms:
Inspired by the peaceful atmosphere of a classical Chinese garden, the primary bath is a true spa experience that will make you feel like pampered royalty. Spacious and spotless, our amenities offer the essentials to elevate your bathing experience, including a towel warmer, hinoki wood bathmat, non-paraben toiletries, and Turkish cotton bathrobes for your use. Enjoy a relaxing soak in our extra big tub (lavender bath salts on us). Have a refreshing rainfall shower, or a pulsating waterfall shower that will soothe achy muscles after a long flight or an adventurous day spent exploring the city. There is a private entrance into the primary bath from one of the bedrooms; the other bedroom has its own en suite half bath.

Come and have a great time here! The space is bright and full of good vibes. We are located in the best part of downtown Flushing, with easy public transportation to Manhattan. We are two blocks to LIRR, four blocks to the 7 subway (ride it to the end to go to Hudson Yards), and multiple bus lines on the corner. One subway stop or a 30 minute urban hike will take you to a Mets game, or to Arthur Ash Stadium for the U.S. Open!

It’s an easy stroll to the Queens Botanical Gardens, shopping malls, mainstream and Asian specialty grocery stores, and diverse retailers selling K-beauty, anime collectibles, Asian housewares and so much more. Explore the eclectic street vendors along Main Street, where you may find a treasure, or at least a souvenir, amongst the antiques for sale.
Other things to note
Notice that this is a busy urban location with traffic, sirens and occasionally a plane on its way to Laguardia when the wind blows a certain way as LGA is only 15 mins away.

Note that the apartment is modernized and renovated, but the building public areas not yet renovated. Overall the complex is very clean and safe with many security monitors.

The space
Our living room has a large, leather recliner sofa topped with tons of accent pillows. The tv is hooked up to a firestick, and is logged into some of my accounts for your leisure.

Just off to the side we have a small home gym set up with a pedal bike as well as a step machine, yoga mats, and a meditation floor pad (still getting set up).

The kitchen has a large fridge and oven; there is a pot or two for the casual meal. You are welcome to do your own cooking just make sure you clean up after yourself as to keep all guests happy.

You have a private room in the home. The room has a lock with a key. Only you have access to the private room, all other areas are shared.

I respect your privacy but am always available if needed!

Pet fee is 35$ / week for one pet, initial charge when booking taken into consideration for long term stays. If you need a late or early check in make sure to ask me for approval in advance, since I will be checking you in I cannot guarantee my availability without due notice.

Extra services. Long term stays do not offer cleaning in between unless you opt for an additional add on charge. As a long term guest you are responsible for providing toiletries and basic necessities such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc. AC is provided June-September.

Turn down service: 65$ / room refresh. If you are staying long term and do not opt for a room refresh, please clean your sheets! There is a laundry mat around the corner.

In the shared areas of the home we have a shared tv in the living room hooked up to my fire stick, feel free to use at any time. Theres a large kitchen for cooking needs and a dining room take to have your lunches / dinners.

Your private room has a twin mattress and locks with a key for your convenience. The rest of the home is shared with other guests, as well as myself on occasion. There is a closet in your room with hangers for your clothes, as well as a cabinet for additional storage. A large window lets in ample sunlight but had blinds for your privacy when needed.

You have access to your room and all the shared living spaces (two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, entryway coat closet).

There is a backyard and driveway but please note these are off limits to guests and it is NOT included in your booking.

This is a lovely small bedroom in 4 bedroom apartment. We are within walking distance to three supermarkets, CVS, a deli right around the corner for your morning Breakfast, the laundromat and numerous busses (Q26, Q27, Q31); not too mention there plenty of street parking if you bring your car. There are numerous parks nearby as well if you enjoy morning walks. The neighborhood is quiet and spacious, close to the city yet without all the clutter and chaos.

Cleaning: Apt is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before your arrival. Linens are changed and washed at high temperatures, bleach and other chemicals will be used to kill any germs of high touch areas. Gloves are worn and changed frequently throughout the cleaning process. Windows are left open during cleaning. The apt will be sterile prior to your arrival.

This cozy apt is suitable for couples, friends, and the young, with max 4 guests. Pls, do not bring extra guests or visitors, I want to make sure everyone stays peaceful in the building. if you bring extra guests will be charged $100 per person including children.

We are also located close to various hospitals and clinics, perfect for students completing hours / rotations.

We have some pots, a coffee maker, toaster, and pans for cooking, plates, silverware and necessities you need but feel to bring your own! Please read house rules, they must be followed. Keep the space clean and do not leave a mess, there is not a housekeeper, if you make the space dirty, the space will remain dirty. It is up house guest room contribute in cleaning the shared spaces, just as you would in your home. Dirty dishes and overflowing garbage will not be tolerated.

Long term stays are responsible for providing their own shampoo/ conditioner/ toilet paper, etc. I provide a room with a bed set up with sheets/ pillows/ towels. We recommend cleaning your sheets once a week at the laundromat a block away.

Make yourself cozy in this chic lower level living space with a private living room and bathroom as well as kitchenette-perfect for the working person or student. The kitchenette has a microwave, blender, panini press, as well as a refrigerator.

The living room has a tv with antenna channels but also have an HDMI cable so feel free to hook up your laptop and play movies on the big screen! There is great WiFi service, perfect for your work at home needs.

Central heating operates during the cold months and during the warm months we have a portable AC, it is quite cool most of the time since it is a lower level unit so it might not be needed.

You have access to entire lower level unit with its own private entrance out back. Please stay out of our utility closets / do not tamper with any machinery.

If there is an emergency / maintenance is needed we reserve the right to enter the unit to perform necessary work / repairs, however we will provide you with notice when doing so.

While you have a view of the backyard you do not have access to use it unfortunately.

Other things to note
We clean and disinfect the property after each visit, if you notice small flecks or residue this is normal as our cleaning crew cannot pick up every piece of dust or hair but rest assured eveything was laundered, wiped down, and mopped! If you are a long term guest you are responsible for washing your linens (we recommend weekly) and maintaining the space. If the sheets are heavily soiled and cannot be washed there will be a 65$ replacement fee. If the space requires a deep clean this will incur a 100$ deep clean fee. A deep clean is any clean that required more than two hours by our cleaning lady.

A portable ac unit is available for summer months (June-mid September). As per house rules the unit should not be left on continuously and should be turned off when not in the space, excess use will incur a 100$ fee per month; if you have a pet this does not apply to you if your pet is at home, this is cover d by the pet fee.

We charge a pet fee of 35$ / week for the first pet and 10$ for an additional pet.

If you require additional cleaning during your stay please schedule a cleaning, each additional cleaning is 65$.

Gorgeous room with lock on bedroom door. There is a brand new double mattress, which is super comfy. The home has WiFi and your room has an overhead fan to keep cool at night or warmer days. The room has a beautiful rug and full sized mirror if you need to get ready or simply hang out.

TV is connected to FireStick in the living room :)

Kitchenette includes a mini fridge and a hot plate (no sink, need to use bathroom to do dishes) . The main entrance on the 2nd floor will be shared with guests staying on the 3rd floor.

**Cancellation policy**: For long term stays, Airbnb only offers a Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking and at least 28 days before check-in. After that, the first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable. This is the least strict option available on Airbnb for hosts. However, we understand unexpected events happen. With good reasons to cancel after this grace period before checkin, we can offer a full refund with $100 deduct as a cancelation fee.
**Abandoned Belongings**: Any personal belongings left in the rental property after the checkout time will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of these items, and the guest agrees to cover any associated costs.
**Overstaying Guests**: If a guest remains in the rental property beyond their checkout time without proper authorization, they will be considered in violation of this agreement. **Guests should be mindful of their utility consumption during their stay. Excessive use of utilities, beyond normal usage, may result in additional charges. This includes but is not limited to water, electricity, and heating. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
**Access codes: access codes are shared 1 day before checkin. These codes cannot be shared with anyone else who is not an airbnb guest. This is a strict rule that we ask all our airbnb guests to follow and if it was found that non-airbnb guests have access to the house freely, the guest who shared the codes have to leave immediately with no refunds.
