- "Apartment is lovely. Beautiful views of Empire State Building and Hudson Yards area and Hudson River. Decor modern and great layout. Minor suggestion - couch is deep so a few throw pillows would be a great addition. Kitchen stocked, including pod coffee maker and dishwasher. King beds very comfortable. One other suggestion - some bed pillow options that are less “full”. Bathrooms nicely appointed but need a brighter light setting for women (even with the dimming function on max too dark). Plenty of water pressure in showers. Building has desk attendant. Host was fantastic. Gary helped us access unit early and checked on us to make sure everything was fine upon our arrival. Luggage can be checked at the hotel below the tower - kimpton eventi. We were charged 2 prices - one $5 a bag and one $10 for 5 bags. They also can arrange a car service to the airport. It was $100 for 4 or us. The subway access is excellent - ACE, 123 and NRQW all within 2 blocks. Very helpful with UN in town. Great base for us to introduce our friends to NYC.
