Our house was completely remodeled in 2017, creating a stylish open plan living and dining area with vaulted ceilings, a granite and stainless steel dream kitchen with two sinks and a huge island for cooking and conversation -- and four bar stools for breakfast and snacks. We have a big stainless refrigerator with an ice maker, a microwave, a 36-inch gas range, blenders, coffee makers, a full set of top end cookware, good knives, and china, cutlery and glassware for eight or more.

The gathering area next to the kitchen has a wood stove for cozy ambiance in colder months. The decor in the living and dining areas is mid-century modern, heated and cooled by a brand new heat pump. The living room has a leather couch and ottomans, five comfortable chairs, marble and brass side tables, great lighting and a separate reading area. The brass and glass dining table seats 8.

We have a new flat screen smart TV, and full internet service and wi-fi.

The master bedroom has a king bed and a big ensuite bathroom with a heated tile floor, marble counters, and a large walk-in shower with two shower heads. A second large bedroom has a queen bed, and the third and fourth bedrooms have twin-size daybeds with twin-size trundles. These three bedrooms are served by a new hall bathroom with a tub and shower, lots of counter space and seamless surfaces.

Outside two sets of sliding doors in the living room is a covered patio with a table and six chairs, a gas grill and a gas-powered fire pit. We have a wood fire pit and outdoor furniture in the backyard, and a basketball hoop in the driveway. The main garage holds two cars. There is unlimited outside parking. A mudroom entry is accessed from both the front parking area and the garage, with storage for cleaning equipment and house-keeping essentials.

We have a gorgeous office/laundry room, with an ironing board and iron, and a big table for folding clothes and doing crafts. For remote work, we have a computer desk and office chair and a printer with paper and ink.

Over the detached shop is a game room with full-size pool table, dart board, game tables, sound bar and small refrigerator -- perfect for the big kids.

The house is on 13 acres of evergreen woods -- you may see deer and barred owls, and in the summer pick apples and blackberries. We are minutes away from classic bike and hiking trails, such as the 30-mile Burke-Gilman Trail.

The nearest supermarket and gas station are less than a mile away. You will be six miles from downtown Redmond, home of Microsoft headquarters, a Whole Foods, a Costco, a charming world-class shopping center, and a variety of dining spots from McDonalds to gourmet Northwest cuisine. The house is 15 minutes from Woodinville, the Northwest's premier winery destination, with 140 wineries, wine bars and tasting rooms, including the iconic Chateau Ste-Michelle and its musical performance venue. There are artisanal breweries springing up as well.

Downtown Seattle is 25 miles away, and there is a frequent express bus from downtown Redmond. SeaTac International Airport is 30 miles from Redmond.

The guest suite occupies the West side of the house and has its own separate entry. We share the building and live on East side of the house so we are a quick text away to offer help and local advice if desired. You will have complete privacy during your stay.

Please note: Outdoor furniture cushions are brought in during winter months. Backyard is a shared space however, it is entirely yours during your stay.

*Our suite is professionally cleaned between each guest, windows are kept open during cleaning and if weather permits windows can be left open for arrival as well for additional ventilation. We have an HEPA air filter running upon your arrival. Our cleaners sanitize all surfaces that guests touch and wear masks and gloves during cleaning.

*A/C and heat are central which can be controlled via an app on the suite tablet. We also provide an additional space heater for guests in case it is needed in the winter months.

*There are security cameras in the front and side areas of the property as well as the guest suite entrance.

*This property is located in a quiet neighborhood. Therefore, it is not suitable for parties or playing loud music.

We get occasional power/internet outages. If this occurs, our electrical generator will be turned on in approximately 10-15 min, however the internet may not return for several hours as it depends on the cause of outages.

Cell service by our property maybe weak. However, guests can connect to WiFi for better cell service.

A bright country cottage designed for optimal serenity and relaxation. Enjoy this completely remodeled 1914 cottage, fully equipped for those looking for a quick getaway or a longer transitional stay alike.

The Dahlia House is in a rural setting with a view of a seasonal farm growing raspberries, winter wheat and corn. This makes for wonderfully open views across the valley into the foothills. On a sunny day you can even see Mt Rainer.
The space
Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, dresser, walk in closet and large smart TV ready for you to log in to enjoy favorite streaming services.

Bedroom 2 has a full bed with a smaller TV equipped with an apple box for streaming.

Also located in bedroom 2 is the ladder that leads to the third bedroom/loft, a nice kids hang out and slumber party zone. (please assess you child's ability to safely navigate the stairs before use)

The living room couch with a pull out trundle bed for 2 more additional sleeping areas.

Although there are beds to sleep 8 please consider the house is 1025sf with one bathroom. Recommended maximum is 4-6 people for comfort. Dahlia House does have a tankless water heater for a ample supply of hot water.

The glowing wood interior and windows extend from floor to soaring ceiling inside this cozy yet luxurious treehouse. Tucked away on thirty forested acres, the airy interior is comfortably furnished and bursting with natural light.

Equipped with an outdoor hot shower, Wi-Fi, a 100 inch screen/projector, and hot tub, you can truly get away from it all among lush evergreens just 10 minutes from Redmond.

Access to the treehouse is off the deck 150' behind our home, with a very easy 55 foot suspended walkway/bridge among the trees.

The treehouse is an open-space room surrounded by expansive windows with views of the forest and a private pond. It provides a comfortable queen bed with high-end linens, a reclining couch, and a twin bunk bed in the loft, accessible by ladder.

There is a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig in the kitchenette area, and a cafe dining table that seats three. Your complimentary continental breakfast is served via a 150' zipline from the main house.

The treehouse is surrounded by an expansive deck and crow's nest (40 feet high). Each overlook the private nature preserve pond that is home to blue heron, frogs, and especially beavers with the main beaver hut visible from the deck!

There is a private outdoor shower accessible off the deck, as well as a half bath (toilet and sink) attached to the other side of the treehouse.

Across the pond is the Emerald Forest and Theater featured on another episode of Treehouse Masters in 2018 ('Climb-in, Drive-In Theater'). Based on availability, you may explore this beautiful forest and theater as well. It is an easy 1/2 mile walk on a flat trail! Your treehouse stay does not include the use of the ziplines to the Emerald Forest or the use of the theater/projector in the forest.

This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.

Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Other Things to Note:
Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed at all times. (please let campkeeper know if you are bringing a dog) We are a working farm and we have guardian dogs to protect our alpacas (they are within the fenced pastures). TALK TO COMPKEEPER REGARDING SPECIAL DOG RULES!

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

- "A peaceful retreat on an alpaca farm within the forest. The property manager was so helpful and great at communicating! Fully equipped for a fire with some s’mores supplies thrown in! Would definitely recommend." - "I drove from Montana to visit a friend in Seattle and had been looking at places to stay in the Snoqualmie area to enjoy the sights. This was a great "glamping" setup and was very convenient for me traveling alone. It is very close to a couple homes so you have people within 100 feet of the site which was ideal for me for safety but maybe not for a large group or someone with dogs seeking privacy. I did not get a chance to meet the lamas since I arrived after 3pm and left before 9am and didn't catch Shari in time, but I did ones in the pasture on my way out of the gate. The only thing I would say needs to be added to the description is that there is $35 fee for bedding in the main tent and a $10 bundle of wood you can add. It was a bit sketchy paying those out of pocket upon arrival but overall it was such an easy stay and a cute setup that I wasn't mad. I would visit again!"

- "Location was wonderful. We spent several days touring Seattle and it was nice to come back somewhere quiet. There was plenty of sleeping space and plenty of lounging space (42 chairs). The home was missing some basics. Trash bags, dish washer detergent, access to a broom, coffee filters and the last one wasn’t listing as an amenity (not sure how we missed it) but there was no washer and dryer. Over all a great stay make sure you leave time to explore the locally."

From outside your cottage door take a short stroll on the property to a babbling brook or enjoy a hike at nearby Cherry Creek Falls. We don't allow pets, but we recommend Cardiff's Cottage here in Duvall for dog boarding. We are available most often for any needs during your stay. Beautifully maintained home located only two blocks from highly desired Christa McAuliffe Elementary. Private landscaped backyard with large deck and patio with heavily treed greenbelt behind. Guests will have full access to the entire house and the expansive 5 acres of beautiful land surrounding the property, providing plenty of space to explore and enjoy the outdoors. The house features an attached garage for your convenience, but please note that the other standalone garage is not accessible to guests. Additionally, one linen closet and utility closet will be locked for host storage. We encourage you to make the most of the cozy indoor spaces and the serene outdoor environment during your stay!

• Booking guest must be 25+ years old.

• Maximum stay is 21 day

• No parties, events, or weddings, are permitted unless previously approved by host. All visitors and pets must be listed on the reservation. No unregistered guests or pets may be on the premises without prior approval.

• Guest agrees to provide photo identification to host within 24 hours of making the reservation to verify name and age.

• No 3rd party reservations. The guest who reserved the property must be on property during the stay and assume all responsibility for any property damage caused by other guests.

• All guests that have a confirmed criminal record shall be declined and asked to cancel the booking at their own expense.

• No smoking of any kind is allowed in or within 25 feet of the property. Any cigarette or marijuana smell will result in an additional cleaning fee of $1000 or equivalent to the cost of removal (which ever is greater).

• We have a septic system, only toilet paper may be flush in the toilets.

• This is a shoe free house. We ask guests to remove their shoes at the entrance.

• There is a 1/4 mile private unpaved road leading up to the property with 10MPH speed limit posted. We ask all guests to obey posted speed limit on that private road.

• No pets except cats and dogs are permitted on property without prior approval from the host

• Please pick up after your pets so other guests don’t step into surprises

• No moving of the large furniture (beds, couches, dining table), appliances, arcade games etc is permitted without prior host approval . Fee of $100 may be charged for every furniture item moved.

• For everyone safety our home is equipped with 3 fire extinguishers. One is located downstairs in the game room, and two others are nearby entry doors - main door and garage door in the kitchen. If you have small kids in your party and you think they may activate them accidentally - please put them in a closet or garage out of kids reach.

• Water and electricity are included with your stay, however we can’t provide infinite supply of electricity and water, therefore any wasteful and excessive consumptions of electricity or water will be charged extra. Electricity after 120kWh a day – 25c per 1 kWh, Water after 500 gallons a day – 5c per gallon.

• No paintball guns on property, no terrorizing wildlife, no hunting, no shooting, no discharging firearms or other weapons.

A private walkout apartment located on Lake Joy in Carnation, WA. Located in a luxury home, this mother in law apartment has its own entrance. It has one bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen, and living room. Please note: this apartment is located below an active household.

The space
Guests can enjoy the spectacular view from the dock, or get out in the water in a kayak or pedal boat. Lake Joy offers a spectacular setting.

The kitchen includes all appliances, including a Keurig coffee maker. A washer and dryer are also available for use.

Guests have access to Lake Joy, via our private dock. There is a kayak and pedal boat available for use, weather permitting. (Use at your own risk). Guests can relax on the patio and have a fire in the fire pit.

Other things to note
Verizon has excellent cell service in the area. Any other providers will be problematic, but free WiFi is provided.

This one bedroom, one bath, carriage-style cabin is located above the garage of the main house. The cabin is spacious, warm and inviting.

The space
Escape from the bustle of daily life in this carriage-style, one bedroom apartment located above the our detached garage. The Cabin in the Woods allows you to experience nature in a comfortable, quiet, and convenient location. You'll enjoy watching deer and rabbits pass through the 2.0 grassy acres. Sit in the garden and enjoy an assortment of blooming flowers. In the evening, BBQ, roast marshmallows in the fire pit, or take a stroll around the lake to see its majestic views.

Guests have access to a kitchenette which includes a microwave, electric griddle, toasteroven, mini fridge, a coffee maker and dishes for eating (the cabin does not have a range/oven). In addition there is cable tv and wifi available. The cabin does not have a washer/dryer. There is a laundry mat in downtown Carnation.

Other things to note
Guests need to be prepared to share their experiences with the local wildlife who visit daily. Mostly our furry friends include deer (lots of deer), rabbits, squirrels and an occasional mountain beaver. In addition bird watching is incredible eagles, hawks and owls, at dusk. A variety of small birds including chickadees, robins, hummingbirds and woodpeckers.

READ DESCRIPTION. Keep it simple. Enjoy some fun CAMPING in this tiny cabin. We welcome you to bring extra blankets. The property is right alongside the Tolt River - good for floating & fishing! Located high up on a hill on two acres with magnificent views of nature and the Valley given the different times of the year. We are about a 30 second drive to hop onto the Snoqualmie Valley Trail for a bike ride, walk thru nature or bird watching.
I wanted to create a funky and beautiful space that makes you feel excited about coming back to after your adventures and doesn't break the bank so you can enjoy all that the area has to offer. I really want you to feel at home!.

The space
The studio ( all open space) has a magical vibe and a bed that allows you to unwind and rest in comfort. The space is eclectically decorated with all the comforts of home. Small kitchen with a great bathroom and a showerhead that will make you purr. Walk out onto a spacious deck in the morning for coffee and a chat with the wildlife and the majestic old cedars on the property while enjoying the beautiful views in all directions. It is amazing that just 20 odd miles from Seattle this little Valley exists. Great for peeps that don’t want to stay at a hotel!!!! The studio is the lower half of my house.. it’s an old school airbnb. I often have business travelers book over and over and they love coming home after a long work day!

This is a great place for a base camp to enjoy after adventures.

I wouldn’t consider this a retreat type place that you stay at the whole time as it is a working home. Every day house noises are present throughout the day!

Although the studio is part of my house it has a separate entry, its own private deck, and use of the BBQ… it’s an old school charcoal one. Unfortunately, due to the woods, no outside fires! Also due to insurance, the inside fireplace is not usable. I’m happy to share all of the outdoor spaces.. you will see me throughout the day watering… weeding.. painting. I love sharing the beauty of my property!

Other things to note
Bring bikes and hiking shoes. The last three summers I have had guests stay for a few months at a time and they have all said..."it's just perfect!"..

Also....the space is not set up for infants or toddlers...I cant make exceptions...thanks for understanding.

The Snoqualmie and Tolt rivers, nature trails, and biking paths are all within walking distance. If you’re bringing bikes, the Snoqualmie Valley Trail is nearby and connects to other small towns like Duvall and Fall City. The local shuttle also makes it easy to get around the valley.

We’re a family of teachers who travel during the summer, so while we’re away on trips, our guest unit is yours to enjoy. You’ll have access to our driveway for parking, and you’re welcome to relax on the patio or wander through the garden. There’s also a BBQ available on the patio—perfect for grilling up a casual summer meal.

Please note that while the backyard is primarily yours to enjoy, there may be times—especially after 4 PM on weekdays or during weekends during the school year—when you might see us or our kids passing through or spending time outside. We’re usually at work during the day, so you’ll have plenty of quiet time to yourself.

Our home is older and has its quirks—like settling and uneven floors—but it’s full of character and always a work in progress. We also share our space with a few friendly animals: two cats and some ducks who roam the yard.

We also have caretakers who help look after the animals while we’re away. They may enter and exit through the front door of the main house (not the guest unit), so you might see them coming and going occasionally.

Our home is in close proximity to our neighbors, and we really value our good relationship with them. We kindly ask that guests keep noise to a minimum, especially in the evenings, and treat the space and community with respect.

Welcome to Casa Nelson! Upstairs private 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet setting with easy access and parking. Close to Duvall, Carnation, Redmond, Snoqualmie River, hiking trails, running paths, beautiful scenery. Enjoy the comfortable open floor plan with lots of light. Sit next to our big window, sip coffee, and enjoy the birds and squirrels outside. We are centrally located in the Snoqualmie Valley, easy access. The space
Relax and enjoy our apartment with a big beautiful window and lots of light throughout our place. We have added a Nespresso, coffee pot, tea and hot chocolate to our pantry for your enjoyment. Our kitchen is well stocked with plates, pots, wine glasses and whatever you need to enjoy a meal at a nice cozy table for two or you can add two more chairs for a family.

Each morning enjoy the provided yummy breakfast items and juice to start your day. Casa Nelson also has a small deck to enjoy and walk around our private yard where you can sit with a glass of wine or coffee. We have supplied bird books and binoculars for fun. Raccoons have been visiting our bird feeder lately. So it's never boring!

The bathroom is roomy with a shower and we have provided our guests toiletries and blow dryer if needed. There is a big king bed and a trundle bed for our guests in the two bedrooms. We have added games, puzzles, books and DVDs to enjoy. In the master bedroom we have a walk in closet with extra blankets, pillows, air mattress, Pack n Play beds, High Chair, ironing board for extra guests.

The owners Kathy and Tracy are around if you need anything and you might see a grandchild around because they live close. You can walk around Lake Marcel and occasionally see an eagle while taking in the beautiful views. Trails are not far from our place. You can also drive to Duvall or Carnation within minutes for food or fun.

Our guests drive into our shared driveway and have plenty of parking. The apartment is upstairs and easily accessed from your parking spot. Just a fast walk up 16 stairs to a private deck entrance. You are able to enjoy our backyard especially during the beautiful spring/summer/fall here.

Woodpecker Glen is a brand-new guest house in one of Washington's temperate rain forests. The house has a cabin feel with cathedral ceiling and open floor plan plus lots of natural light in a peaceful, quiet location. The back yard is Tolt MacDonald Park, 574 acres, a favorite for mountain bikers and trail walkers alike.
All of this and still less than 11 miles to Redmond (think Microsoft), 26 miles to Seattle downtown. Winter skiing and summer alpine hiking are only 20 to 50 miles away.

Room is in private house but due to location it feels like a private place. You go to the backyard to get to your room, and use a keypad to enter. When you are in your room you will have a great view of back yard and a private deck, but feel free to roam yard, front and back and sit on front porch, lounge in the hammock, put chairs anywhere in the yard and relax!

Hygge House is a modern loft guesthouse with a mix of Mid Century, Rustic and Scandinavian décor. Hygge House is a place of warmth and welcome. It's tucked away in alley with its own private entrance and parking spot. Loft has natural wood elements that give a warm and cozy feel to the space.

Property owners live in the main house that is detached from Hygge House. The Hygge House is behind the main house and is in a different building in the alley.

The space
Vaulted ceilings and concrete floors make this small space seem large. Earthy textures, colors and art give the space a feeling of Bohemian vibes and Northwest culture. Kitchen and open living space on main floor, loft with queen size bed. We have local coffee and honey provided for our guests.

The guest suite occupies the West side of the house and has its own separate entry. We share the building and live on East side of the house so we are a quick text away to offer help and local advice if desired. You will have complete privacy during your stay.

The outside patio/deck has outdoor couches, tables and chairs, perfect for outdoor entertaining.
Please note: Outdoor furniture cushions are brought in during winter months. Backyard is a shared space however, it is entirely yours during your stay 😊.

We have an HEPA air filter running upon your arrival. Our cleaners sanitize all surfaces that guests touch and wear masks and gloves during cleaning.

*A/C and heat are central which can be controlled via an app on the suite tablet. We also provide an additional space heater for guests in case it is needed in the winter months.

*There are security cameras in the front and side areas of the property as well as the guest suite entrance.

*This property is located in a quiet neighborhood. Therefore, it is not suitable for parties or playing loud music.

Important house rules:
1. No parties or unauthorized guests, pets. Violation will result in immediate termination of reservation with no refund.
2. No smoking indoors or outdoors (AirBnb rules and fine strictly enforced). Violators will be asked to leave with no refunds.
3. No outdoor shoes inside.
4. Quiet hours: 10:00 pm - 7:00 am, out of courtesy for our neighbors.
5. No last-minute late checkout request as our cleaner is scheduled to start at 11 am.

We prioritize providing a safe place for our guests, where we follow the strict guidelines that Airbnb recommended for enhanced cleaning and disinfecting. Hand sanitizer, spray disinfectant alcohol wipes and other cleaning supplies are provided.

We get occasional power/internet outages. If this occurs, our electrical generator will be turned on in approximately 10-15 min, however the internet may not return for several hours.

Cell service by our property may be weak. However, guests can connect to WiFi for better cell service.

Wake up and savor the view from the master bedroom, then step outside and enjoy coffee by the lake in one of our many seating areas. Take out our lake toys, or curl up with a book on one of our many loungers. End the day with dinner on the patio, watch the sunset from the deck, and take a wonderful dip in the hot tub.

The space
The home is three levels tall and you’ll stay in our modern daylight basement (fully refurbished in 2019), a self-contained level with its own entrance via an electronic keypad. We live upstairs, but it’s just me, my husband, and small dogs. Some people love our dogs so much they ask to borrow them!

The space is best for sleeping 4-6 people comfortably, though it can sleep more if people don’t mind sharing the couch beds. If you have more than 6 people please send us a request - there is an additional charge of $30 per person per night for this.

The large bedroom in the basement is actually the best bedroom in the house, it’s a light filled room that overlooks the lake through a giant picture window, and you can head outside through the sliding glass door. There’s a king bed and twin loveseat that pulls out into a twin bed. There is also space to hang your clothes in a dedicated section of the wardrobe, and a pretty desk you can work from.

A second smaller bedroom is adjacent and is set up with two twin beds, though one of the beds actually extends to a king so you could turn the entire room into a giant bed! We also have two pack n plays available, plus a trundle bed, if you are bringing very small children.

The living room is large and open, with both couches turning into beds, one full size and one queen. An additional single trundle bed can also be set up in this room if you have a larger party or people don’t want to share the couch beds! There’s a very large tv to take in a movie, an electric fireplace, board games galore and plenty of books. There’s also a sit/stand desk for you to work from, while overlooking the lake. The wifi is great, and it even works down on the dock if you want an ‘office with a view!’

We have a kitchenette for cooking basic meals, plus a table for 5. However in the summer we recommend dining outside and enjoying the view at the large 6-seat table on the patio outside. The kitchenette has a medium size fridge freezer & small oven (it’s similar to a toaster oven but larger and can convection bake, plus some other cool features), 2-burner electric stove, Air Fryer, Keurig (coffee provided for 1st night), microwave... plus other useful items including a blender, electric grill, waffle maker, popcorn maker, electric kettle, and french press. Cooking instruments, silverware, plates, etc, are available. And if there’s anything you need to borrow, just ask! There is no sink, however we leave a container for you to put your used items in and we take care of the dishes for you! Yes, that’s correct, you won’t need to do dishes while you’re here!

The bathroom has both a tub and a shower. Toiletries are available, plus hair styling tools.

Outside there are two docks to relax on, plus an upper patio. There’s a large hot tub, various loungers, lots of seating, plus a BBQ and - if you are feeling adventurous - a wood fired pizza oven is available upon request. Note that the backyard docks, hot tub, bbq, etc, are communal facilities. We are not out there too much - but with two docks and a patio there’s plenty of room for everyone! Should you want to talk to us we are very friendly, but we are also happy to leave you be!

We have various lake toys available for you to use upon request - including fishing gear, paddle boards, a canoe, a kayak, 2 kids kayaks and a paddle boat. People swim in the lake in the summer and samples are taken regularly to ensure it’s safe (it’s not a standing lake, it’s filled from an uphill creek and had a dam at the other end). As with all PNW lakes there are occasional blooms that prevent swimming, but lake toys can still be used and you can still fish. I also do regular cold plunges in the lake in winter!

For those guests with pets the yard is fenced on all sides except the lake. If your dog is an escape artist and tall enough you’d be want to make sure you’re out there with them, just in case, but we haven’t had any great escapes during Airbnb stays so far!

In the winter months you might want to consider a day trip to the slopes - we are just under an hour to Snoqualmie ski resort and 90 minutes to Steven’s Pass.

The entire floor is yours to use undisturbed, with access to the lake, hot tub (shared access) and more. Two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large living space with two couches that fold out into a double and queen size bed, and a well equipped kitchenette. If you have a large party with major cooking plans and would like to arrange to use our larger kitchen upstairs for prepping, we are happy to coordinate with you on this. There’s also a fantastic BBQ outside.

Outside there are two docks and a patio area. So when we are outside enjoying the lake too, we are out of your way as there is so much space. We have the biggest dock on the lake and have had groups of 10+ relaxing out there.
If you like to chat, we are friendly, and if you prefer your privacy, we stay well out of the way.

If you want to take a walk outside of the property, it’s about a 40 minute loop around the lake. There is also a private community beach and kids park close by - walk there in 10 minutes or drive there in 2!

Incredible ONE OF A KIND whimsical “Hansel and Gretel Hobbit house" hand built Log Cabin. Looks like something out of fairy tale hidden on a private mountain by the lake in Carnation! Lake is 7 min walk or a 10 min drive to float the river in fall city. Rent kayaks or inner tubes from us!

MORE to do? Yep.....The famous Snoqualmie bike trails, Train ride and Museum. All you can eat buffet at the Snoqualmie Casino (children under 21 are welcome to eat at the restaurant) or go for a romantic dinner at "The Vista" Prime steaks and seafood "Out Of This World" !! at the casino over looking Mount Si!

The bedroom is a queen bed with comforter and pillows looking out over the forest of Trees!! All linens and bedding supplied! The cabin is surrounded by trees so it stays very cooll! We just added A/C to the bedroom.
Loft has pullout sofa to sleep . There is outdoor lighting so you think your at a resort . Cabin is very lite up at night! The front of the house has a sitting area with a fire pit to relax and roast marshmallows!

The cabin is on its own 3 acres very private. You look out the windows and all you see are trees.

There is a small deck/back porch with a gas grill. Also the firepit is great and next to it is an outdoor eating area with a huge 9ft umbrella overlooking the meadow!

Please have your animals do their business in the forest off the paths or by the wood chips...NOT on the green meadow and AWAYS clean up after them because we have weddings here.

Other things to note
The property is one of a kind Hand built from the forest back in the 60"s , Its something that looks like a fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel" round house! It took the man 3 years to build, There is a 6 ft tree in the middle of the cabin. The stairwell is made out of an oak tree that is approx 20 ft long.... it’s a very unique place "ONE OF A KIND"!!!

We do have a couple security cameras on the outside of the cabin, and we do not have any inside the cabin.
