The Rusk Ranch Nature Center features a Butterfly Pavilion, Hummingbird Garden, Nature Discovery Play, Volunteer Days, Workshops, Youth Programs, Internships. Guests have free access to the Butterfly Pavilion, Natural Playground and Missing Links Mini Golf Discovery Trail when open (Mid May to October). The center is located in Southern Oregon near Cave Junction. Our Lodge is a large, 3-bedroom, 2-bath, furnished home featuring queen-size beds and a bunk-bed room. The master bath has an oversized tub and shower. A large living area, dining room, and big kitchen will serve any size party well. Smart TV and the best fiber Wi-Fi within 300 miles will keep the entertainment rolling. The resort was a freshwater swimming pond and a gazebo with BBQs, horseshoes, and cornhole games for more fun! Explore the Oregon Caves, wineries, the coast, and the Redwoods.

Exciting day-trip destinations are north, east, west, or south. Lone Mountain Resort is near the Oregon Caves National Monument, the Illinois River, and several wineries. It is also within a short drive of the Redwood National Forest, Crater Lake National Park, and many other attractions. You can explore the hiking trails in southern Oregon, go fishing, rafting, and kayaking on the river, or visit the charming towns and villages along the coast.

There are three window AC units. Heat is central, controlled by the thermostat in the hallway. Fans are also available for comfort.

COMMUNAL AREAS:
You are welcome to use the communal areas. Please keep your pets on leashes and pick up all your trash upon leaving.

SWIMMING POND:
Water is safe to swim in. There is no lifeguard on duty, so swim at your own risk. Children must be attended by an adult at all times.

COMMUNAL FIRE PITS:
One fire pit is near the BBQ Gazebo in the center of the RV Park, and the 2nd is near the swimming pond.
Please ensure the fire is completely extinguished upon leaving and never left unattended.

BBQ GAZEBO:
Feel free to use gas grills, horseshoe pits, and cornhole games. Please clean the grill when you are finished. Call the park host if propane is running low.

- "We were very happy with everything. The house was very clean and well kept, with all of the amenities we could need (we didn't even realize it had a washer and dryer until we arrived). Thank you!" - "Cabin is clean and big and Christopher is very nice. When we needed a wine corkscrew he gave us his own for the duration of our stay. The photos are a bit misleading as it looks like it's next to a body of water but really it's in an RV park (perhaps that's my mistake for not reading the description more closely) but overall this is a very good place to stay at that's very close to a handy convenience store."

The Garner House is intended to host big families for their get-togethers in the area! It is bright and sunny, cozy and comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen is enormous and well-stocked: plenty of space for fabulous family meals while you enjoy your time together. There are lots of sleeping options to keep everyone comfortable, and super fun family recreation choices both inside and outside.

As you approach the house from town, the road turns to gravel just before the house, and the canopy of trees closes above you - that's when you know you are in the woods now! As you drive up the driveway, you'll probably see deer grazing in the yard, and one of the best parts of the house is all the windows for watching the deer move through the woods beyond the yard, throughout the day. You may see wild turkeys as well, and even hear a fox calling in the evening!

In the spacious living room, you'll find three large cozy couches to gather around, with a coffee table (great for big family of Pictionary, or one of the other games from the well-stocked games closet), as well as a large-screen smart television. In the winter, the wood-stove is the hub of the living room, with the puzzle table nearby (lots of puzzles to choose from in the games closet). The living room also features a desk with a printer, as well as an heirloom upright piano.

The dining room and kitchen are both open to the living room, great for socializing and sharing stories while making meals. Up to 10 people will fit around the main dining table, with space for 6 more at the breakfast table just across the kitchen. The kitchen island is a great place for a taco bar dinner or a quick snack. Make a meal as elaborate as you like while you have the family all in one place: there will be no limit to counter space, pots and pans, appliances, or serving dishes!

The deck outside the kitchen faces into the morning sun, and the rustic wine-barrel chairs make a great place to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun rises over the trees.

The covered porch out back of the living room is another great sitting or eating space, shady and breezy on warm afternoons, and graced by an enormous wisteria and a view into the woods beyond. The fire pit is behind the porch, for toasting all those marshmallows! (When it is not fire season, of course.) In the backyard, sample an apple straight from the tree, or blackberries from the vines cascading over the fence, or even a strawberry, in the right season.

The master bedroom features a queen bed and a futon, a private bathroom with shower, and large windows for lots of light.

The second bedroom includes a queen bed, as well as a bunkbed with two twin beds.

The third bedroom includes a queen bed, large windows, and a desk.

The two roll-out mattresses can be squeezed into which ever bedroom needs more capacity! And one couch in the living room folds out for more sleeping space, as well.

The garage contains the games: the ping pong table is always fun, as well as the regulation dart board, and the four-square game. Hours of carefree family fun that all generations can enjoy together!

Beyond the back yard, try out the hiking trails on the property and on the hundreds of acres of public land that the property backs up to!

The location is amazing: a few miles from the Oregon Caves or from swimming holes on Althouse Creek or the Illinois River. Crescent City and the Pacific coast are less than 50 miles away, with an incredible drive through the Redwoods on the way.

The only potential downside was that the neighbors downstairs were pretty loud and their kids screamed and whined and cried a lot...I think that's something that can't really be helped with an apartment rent rental, and they did quiet down by about 10:30 pm. The host Amanda was extremely helpful when the internet didn't want to work at first, coming over to try and help me figure it out and then continuing to text with me as the homeowner was on the phone with the internet company up until the point they got it figured out. The whole ordeal probably took 30 minutes, Not bad at all. I think if you're looking for somewhere to stay in cave junction that's right in town and really close to dining options and the Illinois Valley visitor center, The Sasquatch Loft is a great place to stay!"

If you are camping in one of our Luxury Glamping Cabins, follow around the office and go straight off the pavement onto the gravel road, passing on the left side of the main lodge. Parking is right in front of your cabin, and the cabins have easy-to-read large signs with their names on them.

Our beautiful facility is equipped with 4 well lit restrooms, which you can easily access 24-hours a day. Two of the facilities also have coin operated showers. You will need a code to access the facilities. Motion sensing lighting and flash lights are also provided.

You should also know that this cabin has bottled water in the fridge but no running water. A drinking water tap is nearby, and the restrooms have coin-operated showers that cost $3.00. There is a change machine in the front of the resort in our guest laundry room. You'll receive more details with the guest guidebook message I'll send before your arrival.

You access the treehouse via two sets of stairs and across a suspension bridge. The main floor has a kitchenette, full bathroom with a shower, and a sleeper sofa. You get up into the sleeping loft by climbing a captains ladder. We provide complimentary cannabis for your enjoyment and relaxation.

The treehouse is located down a private dirt road on a 12 acre legal marijuana farm. It has beautiful Mountain View’s and overlooks the large meadow where the cannabis is grown. Tours of the garden are available during the growing season (May-November).

We are just 10 minutes down the road from the world famous Out’n’About treehouse treesort. The TokinTree is a satellite treehouse of Out’n’About. Our guests are welcome to Out’n’Abouts amazing breakfast buffet for a small fee of $10/person. They also offer zip lining , horseback rides, white water rafting, massage, and some craft classes for additional fees.

We are just 45 minutes from the oregon caves national monument, an hour from the redwoods. We are surrounded by mountains that offer many beautiful hikes of all levels. Nearby you can find amazing swimming holes in the pristine Illinois and smith rivers.

The kush Kabin is our newest treehouse at our bud and breakfast treesort. To get into the treehouse you take a set of stairs and cross a suspension bridge to your entryway.
It has a full bathroom, kitchenette, sleeper sofa, a balcony, and a large sleeping loft with a queen sized bed. It is perched over a large meadow where cannabis is grown. Every window offers breathtaking views of the mountains and meadow.
Every guest gets a complimentary jar of ganja, and we offer tours of the cannabis farm during growing season. While we don’t have breakfast here yet, our guests are welcome to go to our sister treesort, Out’n’About, for a gourmet buffet style breakfast for an additional fee. Out’n’About is about 10 minutes away and also offers ziplining, horseback rides, and massages.

After many hours in the car traveling down US 101 and then several more hours getting to O’Brien, it was great to sleep in a nice king sized bed in a cabin. Normally we would show up at our campsite after hours in the car and set up camp, tired, and bickering. A little glam camping was well worth the extra money to have more family harmony while on vacation. O’Brien is well positioned for seeing the red woods on day 1 and leaving by way of Crater Lake on day 2. My family loved the cabin better than the hotel we stayed at on the way home."

I accidentally took the towels with me and went to return them the next day, the resort manager was understanding when I texted him and helpful when I got there. Loved all the amenities: fridge, adjustable bed, air conditioner, corn-hole and fire pit were stand-outs. The grounds were very well maintained as well as the restrooms and shower. The camp host was very accommodating. I stayed for two nights with my spouse and 7 year old and honestly wish we would have stayed longer. It was 97 degrees during our stay and the pond to swim in was as very refreshing. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again."

We loved the layout of the RV, and the park was very clean and had nice amenities. The RV was clean and the AC was on when we arrived which was great. It was very well appointed and pet friendly. Loved the deck! I didn’t take any stars off but would recommend replacing the reclining couch as the surface is very worn out. I would also recommend updating the shower head as the water pressure was not great. "

The famous Oregon Caves are a short drive from us, as is the town of Cave Junction. Also, Brookings is a quaint town by the ocean. Our Famous Treehouse Tasting Room is open from Thursday through Sunday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, it also has an elevator for people who need assistance getting up to taste our award winning wines and the picturesque view.

Our quests have signs that are right by the cabin. Some people like taking long walks to the Treehouse and some can drive there as well.

Please note that we are a working ranch so we require that you be able to check in by 8:00PM. $300 security deposit required.

- "We loved our stay here. This cabin is at the end so it offers a bit more privacy than the others. It was beautifully appointed and had all the basics, as well as coffee pods, creamer and comfy bedding. It does not have a fire pit like the other cabins but we were able to start a small fire in the grill. All in all, it was a wonderful and relaxing stay."

Our Majestree treehouse sits 47 feet above the ground, and is the highest treehouse out of the 15 located on the property. There are two ways to get to the treehouse . The first is by climbing three flights of stairs, crossing two suspension bridges, and then one last set of stairs. The other route skips the bridges and takes you straight up a series of spiral staircases.
The treehouse has a queen bed, a sleeping loft with two double beds, a full bathroom with a shower, and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster.
There is ziplining, horseback riding, and art classes available for extra fees. A gourmet breakfast buffet is served every morning in the main lodge.

We all agreed it was a highlight of our roadtrip--close to Oregon Caves, everything was clean and well kept, refreshing freshwater swimming pond, close bathrooms, quiet property (we only saw the other guests outside very briefly), enjoyed our complimentary coffee under the stars on our private deck, nice added touch that there were games and books to borrow in the laundry room, even though we were too busy using the Wifi to partake. The guest bedroom has a handmade log bunk bed set, suited for two adults. Kitchenette with sink, microwave and under-counter refrigerator, attached to a dining area to make for a comfortable stay. Flat screen TV, Netflix and Wi-fi for your enjoyment. A gas bbq grill and picnic table provide for a great outside dining space.

Nice small indoor bathroom across the house, we will show you, includes a shower and small tub. We are flexible and laid back. Good down home living. Kid friendly. Trampoline available for fun. Some shelves with books and our things in room. We do not charge a cleaning fee or deposit which I find a plus. We get it ready ourselves. Clean sheets and towels provided. Let us know if you need anything else, or more cleans sheets etc..dusting, sweeping etc.. The space is well lived in but clean. Our cats are out and in, we will keep them out of the private room if requested.

First of all, we are very accommodating and flexible. Shared kitchen, but we don't use it much just the freezer and extra fridge. Nice small Indoor bathroom across the mobile about 30 or 40 feet way with shower and small tub. Netflix available on your own device. Wifi available. Cell service is iffy but we have wifi and a landline. Patio and hammock available weather permitted. Washer and dryer are available too. We also have tent camping space, please inquire. Walk through from parking is on dirt/grass. If you need any amenities let us know. We also have possible extra space to accommodate more than 2 for extra charge.

Other things to note
We have 3 cats. For city folks, this is a house in the hills, forest. We are only 5 miles from the town of Cave Junction though. And we are about 10 miles from The Caves on the same road. We live down a mile long dirt shared driveway/street, a little steep at our driveway. Some guests find it helpful if we meet at the beginning of our driveway, we are more than willing if needed. Map apps are not accurate so it is best for us to meet or talk on phone for detailed directions. Lately we have been told by some guests there map apps were accurate.

If you are camping in one of our Luxury Glamping Cabins, follow around the office and go straight off the pavement onto the gravel road, passing on the left side of the main lodge. Parking is right in front of your cabin, and the cabins have easy-to-read large signs with their names on them.

Other things to note
You should also know that this cabin has bottled water in the fridge but no running water. A drinking water tap is nearby, and the restrooms have coin-operated showers that cost $3.00. There is a change machine in the front of the resort in our guest laundry room. You'll receive more details with the guest guidebook message I'll send before your arrival.

Bear Creek Vineyard is a beautiful 95-acre property with lots to explore right here. Bird watching, fishing, and hiking. There are lots of ducks in the pond. During winter, we have northern geese migrating through.

There is a queen memory foam bed in the loft with cozy bedding. The daybed has a twin memory foam mattress as well.

If you need a cot, we have one available. Please ask ahead.

The portable toilet and hot shower are out the back door overlooking the woods. It's a beautiful view with the sound of the creek behind the cabin! There are oversized white towels and Castile soap.

The kitchen has a coffee maker with a couple of starter packs for the first night of Colombian coffee, creamer, and sweeteners. We do not keep any condiments in the cabin such as salt, pepper, oil, etc. So please bring yours.

We have a grill and picnic bench available for your use by the pond.

There is a hot plate, pot, and pan. Dishes and utensils for 2.

There is dish soap and cleaning supplies in the kitchenette with dish towels and a sponge.

Feel free to use the pond! Hop in the boat and paddle around and toss a fishing line in!

Beautifully appointed cabin on a working ranch and vineyard property, walking distance to our famous treehouse wine tasting room. The Cowboy Cabin is a great place to vacation with family or friends. Enjoy the covered back patio overlooking the west fork of the Illinois River or cozy up next to the wood burning fireplace. We are minutes from Cave Junction, The Redwoods and 40 minutes to the Pacific Ocean. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a home base to explore all that the area has to offer.

The space
Fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast nook with lots of windows to look out over the wooded property, and a large dining room table and mini bar are available for your enjoyment. The spacious master bedroom has a king bed, and the guest room has a queen sized bed, providing plenty of room for a gathering of friends or family. Flat screen TV, Netflix and Wi-fi for your enjoyment. A gas bbq grill and picnic table provide for a great outside dining space.

This house is intended to host big families for their get-togethers in the area! It is bright and sunny, cozy and comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen is enormous and well-stocked: plenty of space for fabulous family meals while you enjoy your time together. There are lots of sleeping options to keep everyone comfortable, and super fun family recreation choices both inside and outside.

The space
The Garner House is intended to host big families for their get-togethers in the area! It is bright and sunny, cozy and comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen is enormous and well-stocked: plenty of space for fabulous family meals while you enjoy your time together. There are lots of sleeping options to keep everyone comfortable, and super fun family recreation choices both inside and outside.

As you approach the house from town, the road turns to gravel just before the house, and the canopy of trees closes above you - that's when you know you are in the woods now! As you drive up the driveway, you'll probably see deer grazing in the yard, and one of the best parts of the house is all the windows for watching the deer move through the woods beyond the yard, throughout the day. You may see wild turkeys as well, and even hear a fox calling in the evening!

In the spacious living room, you'll find three large cozy couches to gather around, with a coffee table (great for big family of Pictionary, or one of the other games from the well-stocked games closet), as well as a large-screen smart television. In the winter, the wood-stove is the hub of the living room, with the puzzle table nearby (lots of puzzles to choose from in the games closet). The living room also features a desk with a printer, as well as an heirloom upright piano.

The dining room and kitchen are both open to the living room, great for socializing and sharing stories while making meals. Up to 10 people will fit around the main dining table, with space for 6 more at the breakfast table just across the kitchen. The kitchen island is a great place for a taco bar dinner or a quick snack. Make a meal as elaborate as you like while you have the family all in one place: there will be no limit to counter space, pots and pans, appliances, or serving dishes!

The deck outside the kitchen faces into the morning sun, and the rustic wine-barrel chairs make a great place to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun rises over the trees.

The covered porch out back of the living room is another great sitting or eating space, shady and breezy on warm afternoons, and graced by an enormous wisteria and a view into the woods beyond. The fire pit is behind the porch, for toasting all those marshmallows! (When it is not fire season, of course.) In the backyard, sample an apple straight from the tree, or blackberries from the vines cascading over the fence, or even a strawberry, in the right season.

The master bedroom features a queen bed and a futon, a private bathroom with shower, and large windows for lots of light.

The second bedroom includes a queen bed, as well as a bunkbed with two twin beds.

The third bedroom includes a queen bed, large windows, and a desk.

The two roll-out mattresses can be squeezed into which ever bedroom needs more capacity! And one couch in the living room folds out for more sleeping space, as well.

The garage contains the games: the ping pong table is always fun, as well as the regulation dart board, and the four-square game. Hours of carefree family fun that all generations can enjoy together!

Beyond the back yard, try out the hiking trails on the property and on the hundreds of acres of public land that the property backs up to!

The location is amazing: a few miles from the Oregon Caves or from swimming holes on Althouse Creek or the Illinois River. Crescent City and the Pacific coast are less than 50 miles away, with an incredible drive through the Redwoods on the way.

Our Lodge is a large 3 bedroom two bath, furnished home with queen size beds, and a bunkbed room. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub and shower. A large living area, dining room, and big kitchen will serve any size party well. Smart TV and the best fiber Wi-Fi within 300 miles will keep the entertainment rolling. The resort was a freshwater swimming pond and a gazebo with BBQs, horseshoes, and cornhole games for more fun! Explore the Oregon Caves, wineries, the Redwoods, and the Oregon coast.

Other things to note
There are three window AC units. Heat is central, controlled by the thermostat in the hallway. Fans are also available for comfort. 

COMMUNAL AREAS: 
You are welcome to use the communal areas. Please keep your pets on leashes and pick up all your trash upon leaving.

SWIMMING POND:
Water is safe to swim in. There is no lifeguard on duty, so swim at your own risk. Children must be attended by an adult at all times. 

COMMUNAL FIRE PITS:
One fire pit is near the BBQ Gazebo in the center of the RV Park, and the 2nd is near the swimming pond. 
Please ensure the fire is completely extinguished upon leaving and never left unattended.

BBQ GAZEBO:
Feel free to use gas grills, horseshoe pits, and cornhole games. Please clean the grill when you are finished. Call the park host if propane is running low.

Guests have full access to the entire home and outdoor spaces, including the hot tub, trampoline, sand volleyball/badminton court, play structure, river trail, deck, and fruit orchard. You’ll have plenty of space to relax, explore, and enjoy the outdoors with total privacy—no one else will be on-site during your stay.

The garage and 24×24 shop are off-limits (used for storage with future plans for a game/theater room). The property is located at the end of a shared driveway—just drive straight back and park near the house.

The space comfortably accommodates 6 guests. If your group exceeds 6, please contact us before booking. Host approval is required for larger groups (up to 12 total). We have hosted 12 in the past.

This home sits along the beautiful Illinois River in Southern Oregon, an area known for its laid-back, rural vibe. From time to time, you may notice the scent of marijuana in the air due to legal, local growers in the region. It's also not uncommon for river visitors to embrace a free-spirited lifestyle—on rare occasions, that might include nude sunbathing or swimming in remote spots. We always encourage guests to enjoy the natural surroundings with an open mind and respect for local norms. Please understand this is not something we host, control, or promote-it simply happens in areas beyond our property line that we can’t control.

Please Note: Smoke from regional wildfires may be present during summer months. While power outages in our area are extremely rare, utility companies may occasionally shut off electricity as a wildfire prevention measure. These events are outside of our control and are not considered grounds for cancellation or refund.
