Storm watching opportunities abound in winter as the high surf frequently splashes over the offshore seastack rocks. Old Town Bandon offers a variety of shops, a modern public crabbing pier and boat launch, and many dining options. Ocean fishing charters are available as well as sea kayak trips in Charleston Harbor to the north, South Slough Estuary, and various lakes and rivers in the area. Nearby Cape Arago is home to seal and sea lion populations at Simpson Reef, as well as Shore Acres Gardens which are lovely in the spring and decorated and lit for the winter holidays. Horseback riding is popular on the beach at sunset. Some of the best windsurfing on the Oregon coast is just a short drive south to Floras Lake. Other hiking opportunities abound on numerous trails in the area.

In addition to stunning views of one the most spectacular and interesting beaches on the Oregon Coast, this property boasts rare private access that allows you to be on the beach in less than a minute!

Located on the third level of the Face Rock Retreat triplex, the North Loft offers a cozy, hotel suite style room with semi-private deck offering incredible views of the ocean and Bandon’s famous rock formations and spires. Renovated in 2018, new furnishings and décor create a fusion of rustic cabin and modern design elements.

South Loft amenities include queen bed, full-size leather couch, 39" flat screen TV with Spectrum Silver channels and Blu-ray player, free local and long-distance phone service, high speed Internet/Wi-Fi, hair dryer and deck chairs. And although it does not have a kitchen, it does have a microwave, mini-fridge with freezer, and a coffee pot.
