An additional issue I had with the hotel was the number of dogs on the property. As well, I experienced a incident with a guest that prompted me to ask the then present male receptionist if there were cameras on and within the property. I was informed that cameras did not exist any where on the property inside or outside. Overall, my stay was bearable however, the concerns that I mentioned need to be addressed. I will not book any future reservations with this facility on the basis of the location and overly fragranced areas and the number of dogs on the property."

- "For about the same cost as a nice hotel, we got a place we could call "home" for our 5-day visit. It was clean, the bed and furniture were comfortable, and everything worked. Lots of storage and closet space, more than we needed, even. The complex was an attractive setting. Coffee maker and pods were available. There was a minimal supply of kitchen items, especially dishes and glassware, but this would not be a problem for a single occupant. Overall, we were pleased with our home-away-from-home. - "easy in, easy out!" - "First, I would like to say the hotel staff (Sonesta, formally Candlewood) was wonderful and the location was very convenient for what we did. Less than 15 minutes to NASA and Kemah Boardwalk. Less than 10 minutes to the community park that have a ton of activities. The listing however, was misleading. The listing has free parking and free laundry, which is not true. The hotel has always charged for parking $5/day and they started charging for laundry October 2023. When I showed them the listing, they told me I would need to reach out to whoever posted this. I did and they have not replied to me (it's been 12 days as of today). Also, the hotel only offers housekeeping service if you are staying for more than 7 days. You will need to take your towels to the front desk each time you want to change them."
