Welcome to 409 Rehoboth Ave (Unit 29 in The Ark) A nicely furnished unit with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom This two-level unit is bright and open with a large balcony on the 3rd floor looking over Rehoboth Ave. 1 bedroom has a king size bed, the other has queen size, and a queen size sofa bed. Unit comfortably sleeps 6. All linens are provided (including towels etc.)
The unit itself is fully equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. High speed internet is provided along with individual HVAC units in each bedroom and living room. David the property manager was responsive with initial queries, but follow up could have been better. A house binder would have been helpful to give vacationers a heads up on any idiosyncrasies (i.e the fridge temp increasing but will decrease, hot tub issues). You do need to bring quite a few things with you but that is to be expected for this type of rental and this price. When we did have a small utility problem in the rental, the owner was very responsive and got the issue resolved asap. WE were very happy with the property and with the owner's quick response. This rental is also in the best location you can get for the price. Close to the beach, restaurants and steps away from main street. We loved being within walking distance of most places we would go. The only drive was to the outlets a short distance away, and otherwise the car didn't move. There is also a very nice pool right out the front door. - "Everything about the property was serviceable. However, this property is NOT for ADA or physically impaired. From the stairs into the property to the spiral staircase to the height of the toilets. That said, thank goodness my family was able. Beach and some shops/restaurants were a proper 5 block walk, sometimes twice a day. The pool was nice and relaxing as an alternative. Having to share a bathroom with 4 others required patience and flexibility. For a place to shelter for a on the go group, this is an excellent option. It allowed some to go and some to rest and relax. On the peripheral, the kitchen was sufficiently equipped with actual nonstick pans and sharp knives. I appreciate that. Overall, very pleasant stay."

Guests will fall in love with the interior design of this property. It's been furnished with high-end pieces in classic coastal contemporary with mid-century modern touches. Check out the custom artwork from many local artists. Nevertheless, the real star of this home is the pool! This is easily the largest private in-ground pool in downtown Rehoboth Beach. The backyard gets full sun most of the day, so the pool water temperature rarely dips below the mid to high 80s in the summer. The pool is large enough to relax, play volleyball, or swim laps. - "This is a wonderful vacation house. We are a three generation family of 10 plus a small dog and the size of the house was perfect. It was very clean upon our arrival. A bonus is that each bedroom includes a private bath. Linens and towels (including dish towels) being included was another bonus (and beds come already made). Beach towels are not included. There is a two bowl dog dish in the kitchen. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a 15 minute walk to shops, restaurants, ice cream, boardwalk with arcade and bike rental shop. The pool was a perfect size and there were a few floats upon our arrival. As there is little shade on sunny days, we purchased an umbrella and stand which, upon our departure, we donated to the house since it wouldn’t fit in our car. The kitchen is well outfitted with plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses. There is a good variety of mixing and serving bowls, pots, pans, cooking utensils and a complete knife set. While there isn’t a drain board, a hot pot and grill tools are included. We had a wonderful week here and look forward to returning next year."

Please note that rental is primarily for a private room/bath in our home but you are welcome to use back porch (with table), front porch with comfy chairs (great for reading/people watching). Our living room/stove/oven is not considered part of the rental. You may also use our fridge (to store leftovers/drinks) and microwave. I do have children so you may see them in common areas at times (youngest is age 10).

We offer street parking. You will have the use of one parking pass during your stay. The pass is good for free parking in any non metered parking space within the town of Rehoboth Beach. If you use the metered parking downtown/closer to the beach, you do have to pay the meter. Please remember to turn in your parking pass prior to departure as there is a $250 replacement fee assessed by the town.

Our guest house is in a quiet neighborhood inside of town in walking distance to downtown stores & restaurants. With a newly renovated kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a sun porch, 2 full baths and a large back yard - it's a magical, relaxing space.

The space
The house has a kitchen that opens to a living room and a sunroom/dining room with floor to ceiling windows. There are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, and 2 full baths. We have a large rear deck with an outdoor shower and two tables with chairs,. The deck looks out onto a large back yard with shady trees, lounge chairs to relax in, a gas grill, and a small basketball space There’s a shed with beach chairs and other beach goodies.

The house has good wireless internet and TV (with capacity to watch from your own Netflix, Amazon Prime etc account, as well as connecting your own game systems).

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, pots and pans, microwave, coffee maker (both Keurig & regular coffee maker), washer and dryer, coffee, tea, other staples, and paper towels and paper goods.

The beds are made up with sheets when you arrive. There are towels on the beds and extra towels in the closet (including beach towels.)

Four important points to know ahead of time:

1) Laundry: Many Rehoboth rentals do not come with linens. For that reason, I ask that you wash the sheets and towels before you leave OR you can pay my cleaning person to do the laundry. It's $20 per set of sheets and two towels.

2) Suntubes in the bedrooms: Two of the bedrooms have suntubes in the ceiling. We have chosen not to cover those up because it's nice to have the light during the day. But if you like to take naps during the day, please bring a sleep mask! (There are also disposable sleep masks in the night stands.)

3) Hot Tub: There is a hot tub on the deck. But it's sometimes cranky and stops working. So I have deleted the hot tub as an amenity and I price the house as if it doesn't have one. The hot tub does work perfectly well 95% of the time, so you will get to enjoy it. But please don't book if that's your main reason to come to the house!

4) Parking permit: You need a parking permit to park on the streets from about mid-May to mid-Sept. There are two parking permits in the house. There is also parking for one car in the driveway and that does not require a permit.

Guests have access to the full house. Please note that the hot tub is closed from December 1 through April 15 each year.

Other things to note
There are skylights in two of the bedrooms. That means that light comes in during the day. I have disposal sleep masks that you can use if you want to take a nap during that time. But if that won't work for you, and you know you will want to nap during the day -- then these bedrooms won't work well for you!

Welcome to "Dune Blossom", a cozy 1010 sq ft 2BR, 2.5BA townhouse just 3 blocks from the beach! Bed sheets/bath towels/pillows/soap/shampoo/conditioner are always included at Dune Blossom.

There is a fantastic community saltwater pool a few buildings over. It is a 3-4 minute walk from the rental front door to the pool gate.

This townhouse is close to everything--restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee shops, and of course, the beach!

This unit includes 2 off-street parking spaces and 2 on-street parking passes for *non-metered* spaces in the city of Rehoboth. Note that one parking space is directly in front of the rental, and the other is the next parking lot over--a 2 minute walk.

Use the foldup wagon and load it up with included beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards then walk directly to the beach. Use the back patio propane grill to cook up a feast. Maybe enjoy some adult beverages after chilling them in our dedicated Rocco© drinks fridge. Head up to the top balcony for a quieter, semi-private experience with a glass of wine or to gaze up at the stars.

The main living room area features a large sectional couch that can seat up to 5 people as well as an armchair. A 55-inch TV with Netflix is there for your viewing pleasure.

The master bedroom features a King murphy bed, which will be down when you arrive. You may want to bring it up to convert the space into a second living room, or to set up the folding desk to get some work done. The couch is easily converted into a slightly-narrower-than-twin bed. There is also a 55-inch TV with Netflix in this room.

The second bedroom is a queen bed. It features a spacious corner desk. We love the porthole decor in this room and hope you do too.

We are walkable to Rehoboth Avenue (1/2 block), playgrounds (2 blocks), the beach and boardwalk (4 blocks) and many wonderful Rehoboth restaurants (1/2 block). Park your car in our parking spots (or use the transferrable parking passes) and never use your car for the week! Take advantage of the community saltwater pool - a rarity in downtown Rehoboth!

The townhome is two stories with a living room and kitchen and ground floor patio on the first floor. There is also a powder room on the first floor. The second floor has two bedrooms: a primary suite with a king sized bed and full bathroom (including tub) and a deck overlooking the community saltwater pool.
