This apartment is a 2 bedroom in-law suite on the first floor of our home. The spacious bedrooms feature 2 twin daybed and 1 queen size bed. Each bedroom has access to the back deck with amazing views of the wildlife refuge. The bathroom is equipped with a oversized shower with grab-bars. There is also a small, fully equipped eat-in kitchen. It's a great place for that first cup of coffee in the morning or a sunset dinner! Unlike many beach homes, there are only about 6 steps to walk up to this first floor reteat.

We do reside in the property, so Captain Steve is available to share his knowledge of the local fishing & crabbing. Bobbie will certainly assist with any questions about some of the best local restaurants and activities, including her favorite spa. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Clear your mind and relax in all that nature has to offer, welcome to Snow Goose, a bright open bungalow. Nestled among the evergreens and beach plums, just steps from the sandy dunes of Broadkill Beach. Two bedrooms and one bath, we have queen beds in each bedroom and a twin daybed in the main living area.

Broadkill Beach is located on the Delaware Bay, just north of Cape Henlopen and Lewes Beach. Broadkill offers public beach access for swimming, surf fishing, and boating and kayaking in the gentle waters. As a natural beach, there are no lifeguards. The community is surrounded by Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge and Beach Plumb Island Nature Preserve, making it a haven for nature lovers and bird watchers and other wildlife. Broadkill Beach is an official sanctuary for horseshoe crabs, the state marine animal of Delaware and a "signature species" of the Delaware Bay Estuary. Truly a magical place.

Rehoboth Beach is approximately 20 minutes south of Broadkill Beach.
The only business located in Broadkill Beach is The Broadkill Store, a general store sometimes referred to by locals as the "Broadkill Mall," which sells sandwiches, grocery items, bait & tackle, beach toys, souvenirs and homemade donuts on the weekends.

Vacation in peace and quiet on a beach so empty it's as if it were your own. If you love nature and the feel of being away from it all, Broadkill Beach is the right place for you. Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge runs all along the small unincorporated community of Broadkill. However, if you need them, a grocery store, several restaurants, Dogfish Head Brewery (free tours and tastings), the Milton Library (there's a park behind it, right on the Broadkill River, with new playground equipment) and the restored 105+-year-old Milton Theater (featuring live theater, musical and comedy acts and movies), Puttin' on the Ritz beauty salon, and McDonald's, are all located in the quaint historic town of Milton and only a 15 minute drive away. Within 20 to 30 minutes (not including traffic, which can be rough in summer - which is why we like Milton!) there are plenty more restaurants, outlet shopping, a movie theater, Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk with rides for kids of all ages, arcades, fries, candy, popcorn, and a vibrant night life, Lewes Beach, and Cape Henlopen State park. Our two bedroom, one and a half bath home is recently remodeled and upgraded. It is directly bayfront, just steps down the wooden path (so you don't get those sand burrs in your feet) and over the dune to the beach! Cute, cozy bungalow with all the comforts of home and necessary appliances, too. Two bedrooms - one queen bed and one twin bunk bed. There is also a queen air mattress for extra sleeping space, since we no longer have a sleeper sofa. Features a large wraparound deck and a ground level outdoor shower. No need to bring your own towels (bath or beach), sheets, blankets or pillowcases - we supply those! There are binoculars and a telescope for watching dolphins, planets, birds, ships on the bay and more. The house is on pilings, so main living area is up one flight of stairs. Part of the lower level has been enclosed and finished and includes two rooms, accessible from the outside, one with laundry facilities and a half bath, the other is currently used for storage of many of the fun extras like beach chairs, sand toys, fishing poles, etc. Easy check in, no worries here. The nautical theme continues inside this fully furnished 3 bed, 1.5 bath home (plus outdoor shower). The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed with luxury mattresses and pillows for a good night’s sleep. Queen-sized beds are in two bedrooms and a twin-over-full bunk bed is in the third bedroom. Each bed has a protective mattress cover. Please do not mistakenly take this home with you when you remove your bedding. A replacement fee will be requested if removed. Ample closet space and dressers are in each room and ready for your personal belongings. 43 inch Samsung Smart TVs are in the living room and in the master bedroom. The master bedroom also has an attached half bath.

Linens are not provided. Please bring bedding, pillow cases, and towels (indoor and outdoor). Pillows are provided for each bedroom. You'll need your own blankets as well. Rest in the living room, which has two plush chairs and a sofa all with direct views of the water. The entertainment center has a 43 inch new Samsung smart TV. We provide Contactless check-in with a keypad door - the keypad access code will be sent to you just prior to your arrival.
The decks give you unobstructed views of the beach and water. Our guests enjoy watching from our decks their children playing on the beach. You can watch the array of wildlife as gentle waves dance in before your eyes. The house is a quiet haven to relax, work, and just unwind.
Our beach, that extends to the end of South Bayshore Drive, is extremely isolated. There is no street parking so no one else can access our beach. No permits are needed for parking. Our driveway can hold 9 cars. You will be lured into taking long, peaceful, walks in either direction where you may see dolphins, crabs, eagles, osprey, owls, hawks, and other wildlife. The wide, flat beach creates a huge playground for games and fun for beach lovers of all ages. The water is warm and shallow, with a smooth sandy bottom.
For your convenience we provide for you the following:
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand lotion, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent pods,dishwasher detergent, dish soap, multipurpose cleaner, trash bags - both for recycling and regular - olive oil, assorted spices, drip coffee filters and liquid soap for the sinks.
In addition, we provide linens and towels: 11 of the following: fluffy bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, washcloths, makeup washcloths and kitchen towels.
For families we also have available: Graco Pack and Play, crib sheet, highchair, silicone infant plates and utensils, children's plates, cups and utensils, Aveeno baby shampoo and lotion, board books, children’s books, board games, and a craft table with paper. There are also two step stool- one is tan colored and the other issue bright pink and white one usually found in the kitchen closet.
Prior to your arrival I will send out a list of recommendations of places to go, restaurants, grocery stores and other information to help you get prepared for your trip to our paradise.
Every bed gets the following: soft sheets, blankets, bedspread/quilts, pillow protectors, pillowcases, and pillow shams. Every week all the towels and linens are commercially laundered. In addition, the bedspreads, pillow shams and blankets are also commercially laundered. We send over 125 pounds of laundry every week to be cleaned. These laundry costs are part of the cleaning fee for the house.
First floor.
Child items are located in the first floor along with in the second floor. On the main floor, you will love the large wraparound deck where you can enjoy breathtaking views of sunrises and sunsets. On the deck are many chairs, a picnic table, and propane BBQ; all elements that create an inviting atmosphere for lounging, dining, and viewing the water and beach. On a clear day or night, you can see all the way across the Bay to Cape May, 14 miles away.
WIFI! The living room has cable and Apple TV with DE highest speed internet Wi-Fi. This nine-foot ceiling room includes a large cabinet/bookcase where you will find many books and games. Both the living room and adjacent sunroom have comfortable, upholstered chairs and sofas for gathering. The sunroom, full of windows and light, has always been a favorite place for guests to congregate because of the incredible views and comfortable environment both for sunrises and sunsets. It has a sliding door to the main deck. You can also close an inner sliding door for privacy from the living room. The house’s open floor plan is spacious and welcoming with the beach and water always in view.
You move seamlessly from the living room and sunroom to the sitting area, dining room and kitchen. Enthusiastic cooking guests enjoy our well-stocked kitchen. We have many new major appliances. For example, our new gas range has three oven options: standard gas oven, convection oven and crisp fryer option. Our new state of the art refrigerator has the latest elements for all your needs. *See below for all the appliances we offer. The large kitchen is complete with granite countertops, bamboo wood flooring, and an extensive supply of cooking accessories.
The dining area right in the kitchen area can seat 11 people comfortably - more if you want to add the folding table. The propane grill is right outside the sliding glass door from the kitchen. This floor also has a full bath with shower, toilet and vanity. The new washer and dryer are in the hallway leading to the bathroom. The iron, and board and a clothes steamer are located in the front closet. The full assortment of appliances are readily available in the kitchen closet for your use - including a Vitamix blender, regular blender, drip coffee machine, Keurig ,and many more useful amenities. Some are listed on the amenities page, and these are more: large electric griddle, electric skillet, crock pot, waffle maker.
Second floor - bedrooms and bathrooms
Child items are located on this floor also . All commercially cleaned linens and towels are on the second floor. Either they are on three king and beds themselves in a basket and the other twins, full sheet for the futon, all extra blankets are located in the hall closet labeled on the shelves. Bedrooms - The four bedrooms upstairs all have 12' vaulted ceilings and offer lots of light and views. The large primary bedroom suite has its own spacious completely renovated bathroom with a shower, soaking tub, double sinks, and hair dryer. This bedroom also has its own private porch that faces the beach. Two more spacious bedrooms are on this floor. The peach bedroom has a king bed and a couch. Another bedroom has a king bed and a twin bed and trundle. The fourth bedroom has a futon bunkbed with a double bed below and a twin bed above. In addition, this bedroom has a large apple TV. This bedroom has a large sliding glass door leading to the upper deck with unparalleled views. The other upstairs completely renovated bathrooms includes a toilet, shower and counter with double sinks, fire extinguisher, and hair dryers. We have first aid kits. They are located in a cabinet on the back side of the kitchen counter which faces the beach. In that cabinet you will find placemats.

Ground floor - garage .
The garage is stocked with abundant numbers of beach chairs of all sizes, ( at least 14 chairs and additional children's chairs)umbrellas, beach toys, a full-size boogie boards and beach games. You will find a two-person kayak, and a paddle board that can also be used as a kayak. Numerous life jackets are there in the garage also.

Due to COVID extra decorative pillows and accessories have been removed for your safety. As mentioned above, all bedding, including bedspreads, blankets and pillow shams are professionally cleaned for each rental.

There are enough beds to comfortably sleep 7 guests. In addition to this, there is one fold- out couch and another couch in the downstairs living area which can accommodate a few more guests if needed. The large master bedroom suite contains a king size bed as well as a fold out couch allowing this room to accommodate up to four guests. The stunning on suite bathroom has a beautiful shower and a large linen closet that holds towels, linens, and other luxuries you may need to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Off the master suite is a second deck with seating for two that overlooks the Primehook National Wildlife Refuge. Catch a glimpse of the local birds and other wildlife while sipping your morning coffee on the deck.

The bottom floor offers another living area, two more bedrooms, a full bath, and the laundry room. Bedroom two is a beautifully decorated room with a full size bed that can accommodate up to two guests. Bedroom three is a bright, spacious bedroom which has one full size bed and one twin size bed allowing this room to accommodate up to three guests. The bottom floor living area includes a very comfortable couch and a flat screen TV perfect for curling up and relaxing with a movie or a good book.

Outside is a fully functioning outdoor shower to clean off the sand from a fun day at the beach. The house is on a corner lot which provides plenty of space for parking multiple cars. For the days you want more social interaction, it is only a fifteen to twenty minute drive to the following places: touring the Dogfish Head Brewery, shopping at the outlets in Rehoboth, taking in a movie at the Movies of Midway, walking the historic district of Lewes, Delaware’s first settlement, or strolling the boardwalk at Rehoboth (the younger ones will definitely want to tour Funland).

We believe you will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere as much as we do. Our home has two queen beds, and a bunk bed for a total of six guests. The house is built directly on the beach with trees on both sides giving the sense of real personal space. During the last beach replenishment, a double fenced sand dune was placed in front of all properties with access points added every few hundred feet. Our house sits right at one of those entrance points.

The two garage spaces, under the house, are accessible from the inside in case of inclement weather. It is also where the grills are kept. Additional parking is available in the driveway.

The historic town of Milton has a charming downtown at the beginning of the Broadkill River. Most restaurants overlook the river or fresh water Wagamon’s pond. Fishing off the docks or on the pond are favorite locations for avid anglers to catch a meal. The state record largemouth bass was caught here.

The Milton Museum gives the history of the town as a shipbuilding town during colonial time as well as button making from clam shells, rope making, and holy garland in the late fall to sell in Philadelphia.
The practically self sustaining Dogfish Head brewery was once a cannery, and now includes beer making, a distillery, and casual restaurant. Plan on spending an afternoon there and play some bocce ball if it is not too hot.

Everyone enjoyed crabbing and fishing and then steaming the crabs! My daughter and son in law even harvested muscles by kayak and steamed them to perfection. The beach was nice and we even had it to ourselves during the week. The grandsons loved the water and hunting for sand crabs. The location is amazing and you are far from the maddening crowds but close enough to enjoy Lewes and Rhehobeth being only minutes away. Rain one evening provided for a movie night with popcorn included! With televisions in each bedroom, those who wanted to watch a favorite show, could retreat to the bedrooms for some down time. All in all, everyone had a wonderful time. Great place!"

Surrounded by nature preserves and farmland, tiny historic Milton is a hidden gem. The apartment is one flight up, over a detached garage (the garage is not available). The owner lives in the main house across the yard. The sunny living area is open plan with sliders to a small balcony. The efficiency kitchen has a fridge, microwave, hot plate, air fryer and toaster but there are great options, even in walking distance, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There is a comfortable queen-size bed. The bathroom includes a washer and dryer. There are tv's in the living room and bedroom with basic cable and streaming services. The apartment has wi-fi, but I find it is not as reliable as in a metropolitan area. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, but if you're really lucky, the ear-splitting siren will sound for the volunteer firemen, so you'll get the full small-town experience.

Almost anything you need is close by the apartment, so you have the option to remain in town for walkable restaurants, parks, shops and entertainment, including at the Milton Theater. For necessities, it's just a half-mile to the grocery and drug stores. One mile away, beer-lovers mecca Dogfish Head, often hosts events. Some other events in town include free, summer concerts on Wednesdays and Thursdays, Historical Society special exhibits or walking tours, the Horseshoe crab and Shorebird festival, old-fashioned 4th of July celebration, garden tour, art walk, Halloween in the Park, holiday house tour, Holly Fest, Christmas Parade, and St Patrick's Day Parade. Miltonians love Halloween and Christmas, and a lot of houses are decorated, so it is especially fun to walk around town at those times.

Milton's a great town for walking, but in 10 mins drive are Broadkill Beach, McCabe Nature Preserve, Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge, golf course, winery, Lavender Fields, and other attractions. For bird watchers and nature lovers, Primehook Federal Wildlife Preserve is four miles away.

Golfers will enjoy an outing at the championship Rookery Course located only minutes away from Broadkill Beach. It features four sets of tees for golfers of all ages and a grass driving range. While golfers golf, shoppers can shop tax free until they drop at the Tanger Outlets.

The shell of the building dates back to 1900. This is one of the original houses on Broadkill beach. Some unconventional features remained and you should be advised: steep inside stairs from 1st to 2nd floor with risers almost 11 inches, 7 foot ceiling (note, all doors are standard 80 inches). Two beach chairs and umbrella is available, conditions are not guaranteed.

- "The little house was cute and super convenient to the beach and the general store. The upstairs was not usable for us. The steps are very steep and narrow so really it is only a one bedroom on the first floor. It would be better for young people to navigate those steps to the 2nd floor. There is a nice deck on the 2nd floor but not easy to access and not good for kids or pets as the railings have gaps that a small one could squeeze thru. But for one or two people it is a great place- quick walk to the beach, quiet, easy parking access, nice kitchen."

A small historic home in the city of Milton, De. Milton offers small USA hometown charm that is close the world famous Delaware beaches. This home was lovingly upgraded, renovated by Glennie's grandson. Enjoy the sunshine off of the back deck while preparing your BBQ. Take a short walk to Milton's city park which is a few minutes from the house off of the Broadkill River. Check out some of the gift shops, eateries, The Milton Theatre, or a tour of the world renown Dogfish Head Brewery.

We named this listing in honor of my late husband's grandmother who purchased the property in the late 70s for her daughter, his mother and his siblings. She had lived across the street for years and was considered very hospitable to travelers as well as to the locals. The upgrades and renovations made to this historic home didn't remove all the charm and quirks of this small cabin like home. You'll enter the house through a closed-in porch or front room that has a free full size upright arcade game console in it which my husband thought would be a hit with our guests and it is! To get to the living room, you'll go up three historical brick steps. The main and twin bedrooms are adjacent to the left of the living room. The complete kitchen, the third full size bed room and full bathroom are at the back of the house. The back of the house also have a small hallway.

You'll park in the yard to the right of the house. You'll notice a large backyard with an unique feature: bamboo trees! Also, enjoy the back deck, and firepit,

This great space makes for the perfect getaway. The apartment is comfortable and nicely appointed. The living room area with an Amazon Fire Stick smart TV is relaxing and spacious enough for you and your guests with a quaint reading nook just off the kitchen. The bedroom offers a very pleasant queen sized bed. Perfect for a restful nights sleep. Our bathroom is modern with a walk in shower, washer and dryer and full of little extra amenities just incase you forget something.

Parking is right out front. Plenty of room for two vehicles if needed. The apartment is attached to our main house and is located on the far right side. The historical section of Milton is certainly within walking distance. Lots to see and do with shops and restaurants. For your use is a water hose located just to the right on the side of the house. Please try to rinse feet, beach accessories, etc. Also, please shake off as much sand as possible from your towels and clothes.

WE HAVE GREAT BEACHES!
Broadkill Beach is on the Delaware Bay. It is the closest to our place. It is small and has a lot of small crabs and horseshoe crabs that are always around. It is calm and fun for fishing and to watch small children play in the sand. Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge in that general area, has a lot of trails for walking and bird watching.

Lewes Beach is a beach on the Bay. Also very calm, this is a great place to take small children and not have to worry about large waves and rip tides. There is also Cape Henlopen State Park which is on the Atlantic Ocean. Lots of fun to be had there with lots of places to explore. There is a fishing pier as well as a bike walking path that extends from Lewes to North Rehoboth.

Rehoboth Beach, also on the Atlantic Ocean, has a 1 mile boardwalk. So much fun to walk around town with wonderful places to eat and lots of shops to explore. There is also Funland with small rides and arcade games. It can be hard to find a parking spot in Rehoboth. There is a park and ride Dart bus in Lewes that, at this time, does not charge to park your car and only costs about $2.00 to ride down to Rehoboth right to the boardwalk. So, about $4.00 round trip.

A little further down Rte 1 is Dewey Beach. This is the party night life! Lots of bars and restaurants with late night hangouts.

Continuing down the highway is the Indian River inlet where you can park for the day and spend your time on the beach. There is a great restaurant there called The Big Chill Beach Club. This is a state park, so there is a charge to enter for the day.

Bethany Beach would be your next stop south. They have a small boardwalk, restaurants and shops. This spot is super family friendly.

If you continue on south, you will eventually hit Ocean City, Maryland. They have a huge boardwalk with games and rides.

During the summer, expect to be on the road for a good amount of time heading from our place to these destinations. We get a heavy amount of traffic during the summer.

Located on the second floor, The Holly Room was named after Delawares State Tree and on our property; Holly Wreaths were made in the 1930’s & distributed up and down the east coast.
We decided to do a modern with the décor of the Holly Room. Done in cool blues and greens the room has a relaxing calming atmosphere.

The kitchen has all the basics you require including place settings and utensils for 10. You will find a drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig. There are Keurig cups available for a quick cup of coffee as well as filters and Breakfast Blend bag coffee for a larger pot. There are also basic serving bowls as well as a blender and a toaster oven. Kitchen has all the appliances you need including a microwave, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator.

The all season porch on the first floor features a comfortable vintage rattan seating ensemble. It's a great place to enjoy your morning coffee on summer and fall mornings. There is a ceiling fan but this space is not climate controlled. The vinyl panels can be put up or down depending on the weather.

Located right off the all season porch, is a comfortable outdoor deck with 4 adirondack chairs and a fire pit. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and soak up the quiet tranquility of this charming neighborhood.

There are two lovely bedrooms on the first floor. The first features a king size bed and the second features a queen size bed. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage for your belongings and also have brand new mattress and bedding to ensure a restful nights sleep.

There is a full bathroom on the first floor with plenty of fluffy towels as well as toiletries. There is a walk-in tile shower with a rainfall shower fixture.

The second floor features a bedroom, full bath and office space. There are 2 Queen size beds as well as plenty of storage space for your things. The bathroom has a tiled shower and a large soaking tub. The office space is quiet and plenty of electrical plugs for your laptop and chargers,

If you have never been to Broadkill, this is a must. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, read your favorite book on an empty beach, fish or crab, visit the famous Rehoboth Boardwalk or shop at the outlets, this is the place for you. Located only 1 1/2 block from the beach. Bird watchers paradise. Home on dead end street with very little to zero traffic.

The space
The house is on a dead end street 2 homes from Marsh side and 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. We are a 1/2 mile easy quiet walk to Broadkill store. Home is on stilts. Open layout includes living room, table and kitchen. Walk down hall to 3 roomy bedrooms with the master including a bathroom. Our guest favorite is our screened in porch. This is a quiet safe community. Golf carts/ATV/Side by sides are allowed both on streets and to beach.

Home has 3 finished bedrooms. The home includes an unfinished attic which will be not available to guest and there is one closet in the main bathroom and the housekeeping closet off hallway that is also not available to guest. Below house has a closed fence where guest will also not have access.

Other things to note
As the home is located on a quiet dead end street, unfortunately we cannot allow parties or events at the property.

We have beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, BBQ and bikes along with a beach cart available for guest but do not guarantee their condition. Although we try to keep them looking fresh, the salt water can put some wear on them. You are free to use them but they are not included in the listing so please do not include them in your review.

For your convenience, we have supplied all linens for your stay.

There is a camera under the home, at top of the front steps and on the top deck. This is used for security purposes only. There are NO cameras inside the home.

The home is not baby proofed. There are toys in the closet that can be choking hazards for children. Also please note, these toys may not have been wiped down between guest stays.

We have games and puzzles for you to enjoy during your stay but do not guarantee the condition or missing pieces.

We love to see the snow geese in the winter. As it’s rare to get a significant amount of snow on the property, we cannot guarantee snow removal as we do not live on site. We do provide a snow shovel to assist with access to the home.

Welcome to Farmhouse 316 of Milton! We purchased this historic property in the hopes of restoring it to its former glory. After a year of blood($), sweat(lots), and tears(a few), we are happy to share the house with you. The house is only part of the story, as our town of Milton is a wonderful place to live, relax, kick back and enjoy a lifestyle that is too fast disappearing. Have a walk around town and feel the tensions of daily life fall away.

The house has 3 bedrooms and a completely new full bath upstairs and Dining room, Salon, Living/TV room, Kitchen, Full Bath, and Mud/Laundry Room on the main level.
The house is equipped with a front door Ring doorbell/camera and a rear and side yard camera. There are no cameras inside the house.

You will be given a code for the digital lock on the back door prior to arrival.

Our region is home to numerous parks with walking trails, rivers and lakes for fishing, and of course a multitude of beaches. We find Milton to be a great home base for day trips to the Atlantic and Delaware bay beaches as well as shopping, wining and dining, antiquing, fishing, boating, and other outdoor sports.

Come enjoy this peaceful home away from home. This Five bedroom, two bathroom home sleeps 12 people comfortably. The first floor bedroom has a king size bed, along with a designated work space. There are four second floor bedrooms, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and a designated work space. The third bedroom has a King bed, designated work space, along with access to the second floor deck space where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful East Coast night sky. The fourth bedroom is our bunk room and includes four full size beds that will accommodate both young children as well as teenagers, at 350 lb limits on each of the four beds. The fifth bedroom includes a queen bed. Each of the five bedrooms have a smart TV included with streaming capabilities. This home includes a comfortable galley kitchen with all of your normal appliances, plus a Blender, Toaster, crock pot, and instant pot. Enjoy coffee in a drip pot, or from the Keurig whichever your preference may be. There is a dining table open to the living room where there is a 70" smart TV for your streaming pleasure. You cam also enjoy the game room where you can enjoy peaceful sitting on the comfortable love seat or couch or enjoy a game of Foose ball and we are currently waiting on the Shuffleboard table. There is also two picnic tables where you may want to enjoy some local steamed blue crabs or enjoy the fire ring and the outdoors in one of the eight Adirondack chairs in the back yard. This home is a leasure five minute walk to down town Milton where you can find great restaurants and a couple of quaint coffee houses. We are close to all the sports fields as well as several breweries, the outlets, and all the beaches. Our renovated farmette sits on 1+ acre, surrounded by agricultural farm land (minus the farm animals). The farmhouse was built in 1938, is completely updated, yet retains its original charm.

You will feel like you are in the country, with lovely day-breezes and night star-gazing, yet close to amenities, 6 mi to Lewes, 8 mi to Milton or Sports at the Beach, and easy travel to all resort & beach areas.

Parking — Plenty of driveway parking for our house guests, including space for small boats or RVcampers. The garages are a separate rental from the house rental.

Occasionally the owner(s) may access the property to water the vegetable gardens and potted plants outside in the yard. The rental house will NOT be accessed during guests stay unless there is an emergency or issue in which guests will be notified in advance.

Nature:
Purple Martins — watch the fabulous flight of purple martins swooping and diving in the early evening, especially behind the garages.
Gecko and Toads — you might see the tail of an eastern fence lizard scampering behind the siding or Fowler toads hopping near the garages, and occasionally even a harmless black garden snake. Natures way to keep pests at bay.
Gardens — help yourself to herbs like mint or thyme or cherry tomatoes in the UNFENCED area. We kindly request that guests do not enter the fenced vegetable garden. You may see Pop-Pop Bob if you watering the plants. Say hello, he's very friendly.
Star gazing — being away from city lights can make the stars more visible to the eye. Turn off the lights and look up.

Parking and Garages:
Trailer/boat/RV parking is available for our rental guests on the large circular driveway area, depending on size. Please inquire.
Our garages are a separate rental entity from our rental house. The garages and gardens may be accessed by the owners during reasonable hours.

Booking & Rates:
Booking guests must be at least 25yrs old, responsible for all guests, and must stay at the property for the entire rental time period.
During the summer months of April through September, daily rates (with a 3 night minimum) and weekly rates are applicable.

Effective 1/1/2025: the State of Delaware has imposed a short-term rental lodging tax of 4.5% on every occupancy rental. We have not control over this tax. Delaware Division of Revenue License number is available upon request.
