0. This is a little house in the woods. It is not suited to elderly and is not ada compliant. It has a claw foot tub with a shower. The house is in the woods and is not a downtown condo.

1. You have always wondered what it would be like to live on acreage in the country. At the Little House you can have a first hand experience of country living without all the work! The Little House is located in North San Antonio 30 minutes from downtown.

2. You are traveling through San Antonio and you want a comfortable night in a quiet setting. At the Little House you can be in bed ready for sleep 5 minutes after you arrive. Let us know if you have special needs and we can have things ready for you.

3. You are a UTSA professor, student or parent. This is an ideal location for anyone with business at the University. We are located 8 miles from school with no stop lights until you arrive. This is an ideal location for temporary faculty or temporary student housing. The Little House is fully furnished with large closet,

4. You are visiting the Rim or La Cantera Mall. Life dosn't get any better than this. The malls are only 10 minutes with one stop light. Our large closet is ideal for storing your treasures! You can stop at the many fine restaurants in the area so cooking will not be necessary.

5. You want to go to to Fiesta Texas. You can hear the fireworks when the wind blows. The trip back to the Little House is quick and there is a great convenience store on the way. After the fireworks you may need a little quiet! Sea World is close but is further down the 1604 Loop.

6. You have an event to attend and you need a place with quick access and easy living. You park your car at the front door. Six steps and you are inside. Grab what you forgot and head out again!

7. You are visiting family but don't want to live with them. We all need a little break every day. Right?? Come home to our king size bed and quiet nights. You'll be ready to go again in the morning.

8. Sometimes you just need to be alone. The little house is not connected to any other building. You are alone and have your complete privacy. No one is watching or listening. Solitude may be your thing.

The only things I would mention that might be important for some people are: There are no streetlights on the road to the house, so be careful if driving up the hill at night! There are deer occasionally on the side of the road. There are also a lot of bugs (mostly spiders) that get inside the little house, but you are out in the hill country so it’s to be expected. The guest home is a 1100 sq. ft two story house, with an attached deck on the second floor, that has an additional 400 sq. ft. The first floor consists of a living area, kitchen, master bedroom with an attached bathroom and closet. The second floor is a loft, and is either accessed by a small,& narrow SPIRAL STAIRCASE, or through the the larger staircase from the side of the deck.The loft has been converted with two twin beds and a futon that converts to a full size bed. It has an attached bathroom with a roman bathtub. The master bedroom has a queen size tempurpedic adjustable memory mattress with massage. It also has a bidet toilet.
There are two dogs that live on the property. Their names are Heidi (Female) and Hugo (Male). They are friendly. Heidi is protective and tends to bark with his tail wagging. Hugo will just go up to the guest waiting to be petted. Should any guest feel uncomfortable kindly let us know and we will have them in their doghouse.

We only used two beds, but I got comments from my grandson and daughter about how comfortable their bed was. My bed was very similar to mine at home, which helped me sleep after a very long drive. It was close to the wedding and reception venues. A bonus was seeing deer in the yard! The owners were very responsive to my questions and requests. - "Wonderful property that looks just like the photos. Very peaceful setting that feels like you are located in the middle of nowhere but in reality, are just a short drive to anything you may need. It was a perfect landing spot for my family to relax after spending the days visiting nearby San Antonio attractions. The pool was clean just like the rest of the property. The beds were comfortable, linens soft and plentiful, and the space was decorated in a way that was fresh and uncluttered while also feeling homey and comfortable. The host made every effort to make sure our stay was great. They were proactive with communication and made sure we could reach them if anything came up (it didn’t). The kids’ (9 & 7) review: The person that owns this house is really really nice because they want kids to be safe and made sure the pool wasn’t gross. If your parents say you can, you can just go jump in it whenever you want and you don’t have to be quiet. There is a big TV in the kids’ room so kids can watch what they want and they know that mothers like to drink coffee and don’t like messes. If you have a dog you can bring him so he doesn’t get depressed and you don’t have to miss him and can just have fun."

The Space:
Enter our gated 4 acre estate though the roundabout driveway that brings you to a captivating entrance! Our front courtyard will lead you into the grand foyer that breaks off into the East and West Wings of the house.

The West Wing features a Billiards Room with a top of the line Olhausen pool table and the coolest billiards light, 65" Smart TV, sound bar, custom built wet bar with mini fridge, and patio to the incredible backyard! This wing also includes a king bedroom on the first floor. Upstairs you will find another king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and across the hall is a custom built bunk room with patio views of the beautiful resort style backyard.

Cross back through the foyer to an even more spacious and grand entrance. When walking into the East Wing you will find our kitchen, breakfast nook and dining room. The great room has an 85” Smart TV, Restoration Hardware sectional, oversized commissioned artwork, large windows with abundant natural light cascading through and a view to the pool and a spiral staircase up to a loft. Off our fully stocked kitchen leads to a butler’s pantry and laundry space. Further down the corridor there is a cozy private king bedroom and ensuite bathroom.

The upstairs of the East Wing can be accessed through our back stairwell or up the spiral staircase. Upstairs sits the Master Bedroom. Here you will find a king bed, oversized shutter windows, and walk-in closet. Across the way is the huge master bathroom with a bathtub, stand alone shower, 2 sinks, additional vanity, and a bedroom sized walk in closet. Just outside of the master bedroom and bathroom is a poker room with a view that overlooks the great room. The last king bedroom in this wing feels similar to a bright and airy treehouse with its views.

Following the spiral staircase down to the Great room you will have access to the great outdoors! Our resort style backyard includes a diving pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, BBQ grill and plenty of seating between the dining space and lounge chairs.

Beautiful renovated private two bedroom Townhouse in Leon Springs TX. Bright, comfortable and totally private loft apartment in a two-family house. Easy 5 minute ride to shopping and HEB Grocery.

There was enough space for us to stretch out instead of being crammed into a small hotel room. We also appreciated being able to use the washer and dryer. We loved the neighborhood. Even though there were no sidewalks we were able to walk the dogs and everyone was very friendly and gave us plenty of space on the road. There are deer everywhere. During our walks we'd encounter small groups of them. A few times they even came up to the big picture window to look in on us. Dave thought of all of the creature comforts. I was able to work from home easily. We enjoyed the scenic views. He included directions to popular locations. We were close to grocery and restaurants and not that far from the city. Dave responded to any questions we had promptly. He was very flexible when we had to extend our stay due to unexpected delays and was even considerate of our needs before booking another guest after us. Overall our experience was very positive."

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
