The Space:
Our Luxury Beach Townhouse has just been TOTALLY remodeled with a gorgeous new kitchen with all new appliances/cookware, modern new furniture, beautiful new bathrooms, and central heating and air conditioning. This is the second unit from the front of the building. We have a large flat screen TV in the living room with cable, free WiFi, and DVD player. Our kitchen comes fully stocked with all the utensils, pots/pans, and dinnerware you'll need to make any home-cooked meal.

Two spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs allow for privacy and can accommodate 4 adults, 2 children while the downstairs living room has a pull-out sofa to sleep two more. We can sleep 6 adults and 2 children comfortably!

We have two small children and really appreciate kid-friendly accommodations when we travel. Therefore, our unit comes with (all brand new) a pack 'n play for the little ones to sleep, a high-chair, stroller, and a variety of seal-able containers for food on the go. We are also right next to Pacific Beach Library for some quiet reading time with the family and a small playground to enjoy. Our home is perfect for any sized family looking for a great beach getaway!

Our garage with code-pad entry fits one small sedan inside and you can park another vehicle of any size directly outside the garage. We offer all the beach gear your family will need, including boogie-boards, beach toys, beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a cute wagon to wheel everything down to the beach.

We provide all the linens for you to use while you vacation with us. Extra pillows, blankets, sheets, towels are all in the linen closet for you when you arrive. We also have a washer and dryer so if you need to do any laundry you can help yourself. We also provide the detergent.

The Neighborhood:
Pacific Beach (PB) is popular for its prime location and is a great place to visit for a vacation all year round. Our beach is filled with surfers, sun bathers, swimmers, families and an endless supply of fun. The board walk is filled with roller bladders, runners and cyclists, or just the strollers and people watchers. It’s definitely a place where you can go and sit on a bench and enjoy all the different walks of life that Pacific Beach has to offer.

Crystal Pier, located in the heart of PB, and just a short 5 minute walk from our home is where you can find great beach shops, restaurants and cafes along the boardwalk. The beach continues south for about two miles becoming Mission Beach. At the south end of the beach area is Belmont Park with the famous Big Dipper Roller Coaster at Belmont Park with fun rides, shops and restaurants.

There is no shortage of “things to do” in PB, all within walking distance from our home. Garnet Ave and Mission Blvd are filled with places to eat, drink, shop…where you can choose from a wide range of restaurants, nightclubs, sports bars, pubs and coffee houses. Pacific Beach is the most popular beach destination in the city of San Diego and draws large crowds all year round. Also Ubered down to see a Padres game and enjoy the gas lamp district. Our only challenge was that our Yukon didn’t fit in the garage. We were informed ahead of time it may not fit, so it wasn’t a surprise. Sometimes we could find parking in front of the house, and a few times we had to park several blocks away. We didn’t cook, but the house is well stocked with kitchen accessories. I did wash bath towels a few times and it was nice to have washer, dryer and soap provided. We highly recommend this property. Located just 1 block to the beach at Sail Bay with its own private and secure garage (please note, it is quite narrow (80/82 inches wide).
The ideal home away from home with all the amenities for comfort, relaxation, and security. This property was meticulously designed and built, as we eventually plan to make it our own. Luxury furnishings and high-end appliances reflect what we desire in a home, and we're thrilled to share this curated space with you before moving in.It took us just over two years to design, secure planning permission, and build what we believe is a truly special space. Judging by our previous guests' reviews, they seem to think so too.
We utilized the maximum area permitted (approximately 900 square feet) and took full advantage of the maximum ceiling height (12 feet sloping down to 10 feet), incorporating plenty of natural light. We also widened the staircase from the standard 3 feet to 4 feet to create a more pleasant entryway.
A work area is built into the bookcase, which holds some of Marilyn’s teapot collection, along with an array of books and original artwork on the walls. We designed a cozy sitting area extending from the living room, and, of course, included your own locked garage below.
Needless to say, this has resulted in a spacious living area that is equipped with pretty much everything you might need for short, mid, or long-term rentals.
Situated just one block from the scenic Pacific Beach Boardwalk, you’ll find yourself close to bustling shops and restaurants, yet the property remains incredibly quiet, offering an ideal retreat for those working remotely. Begin your day with a rejuvenating stroll along the beach and return to this peaceful haven that blends comfort with practicality.

A couple of things to improve...a wet swiffer or broom would be nice cause the sand gets everywhere and it would have been nice to sweep it up as we went. A few more hooks in the bath or on the wall would be good, perhaps another town bar above the toilet under the headbanger cabinet and lastly a full length mirror on the closet door would be a nice add. And if you need to stock up on grocery’s there’s a store under a mile and Trader Joe’s even closer. The place is pretty small and we had two adults and two kids under 4, so space was limited, but we made it work. We spent a good amount of time in the backyard so it didn’t feel so crammed. This house is perfect for just a couple looking to relax and get away in a nice quiet neighborhood close to everything. - "My husband and I stayed here with our Labrador for 5 nights. It was a good size and had enough room for the large dog crate to go next to the bed. It was perfect for our needs. It is a short walk to Pacific Beach and a number of restaurants and bars. Also a short walk to Ralph’s grocer. The apartment was as described and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. It had all of the amenities we needed including both a coffee maker and a keurig with coffee supplies. That was very nice. The apartment is in a gated area which made us feel safe. The only issue we had was with parking. It is first come first serve street parking only. At times we had to park a block or so from the condo and walk then watch to see when a spot closer opened up. There were some homeless people living in the neighborhood and people can now sleep in their cars on the street so there was some of that. Otherwise it is a great location and property."

Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by Southern California Rentals in writing prior to the arrival date. We ask that you find that wonderful balance and have fun and help us to maintain the peaceful ambiance of the property. Please keep quiet hours of 10pm - 8am. Pet are considered, please inquire first rather than using instant book when bringing a pet. Pets must be screened for Breed, size and behavior and approved before a reservation is confirmed. Please do not bring additional unpaid guests on property without prior written permission.

Vacation Rental Agreement will be emailed to you, please check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox, this must be e-signed before receiving access code via email. Once e-signature is submitted, you will receive your check in instructions and door code via email 7 days before your check-in date.

The Cleaning fee is charged to help cover the cost and time of Laundering bedding and towels which are provided clean for each guest. Professional cleaning of 8 man hours is also provided in this fee. Excessive dirtiness may require more than 8 man hours to bring the house back to the level of cleanliness it was provided for guests' arrival, this will be charged to the guest out of the deposit if more than 8 man hours of cleaning is necessary to return it to the level of cleanliness it was in for guests' arrival. Please empty your bagged trash into the outside black and blue (for recycling) cans. Only dispose of bagged trash in cans, and wash and put away dishes before checkout..

For long term stays of 30 days or more, we require each adult occupant to pass a rental application that checks credit, criminal background and rent history. We reserve the right to refuse/cancel/alter your length of stay to 29 days or less if you refuse or do not pass the rental application. The cost of application processing is $45 per applicant.

We request that you get a PO Box or other mail service, as we do not accept mail at this property. Packages from Amazon and other stores are not affected by this.

This is a one story, single family home. Driveway fits one car. The 2 bedrooms are located in the back of the unit. Master bedroom has a king bed and a desk bedroom has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have tvs. Guest bathroom is located in the hallway and masterbath is attached to the master bedroom.

Living room has a couch with a pull-out bed, we also have an air mattress if needed.

Gather outside in our turfed from yard. You can dine outside, or lounge by the fire pit and catch the sunset.

Other things to note
As we live in a beach city, parking can become more difficult at night. The parking available is street parking which is first come first serve. On weekdays you can normally get a parking spot until around 6pm. After that you might have to park a little further away on one of other blocks. The weekends are a little bit harder but you can normally find good spots until around 5pm. Be sure to read all street signs to avoid tickets. Some streets have street cleaning at the beginning of each month.

Welcome to The Honeycomb Hideout in Pacific Beach, San Diego! The newly renovated 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house has a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere with bohemian decor throughout.

Your private bedroom is stocked full of bedding sheets, towels, a work station, and plenty of closet space. This is an ideal airbnb for a responsible, independent solo traveler, remote worker, traveling nurses, conference attendant, etc., The home is walking/biking distance to restaurants and shops, close proximity to the airport and major freeways, adjacent to both Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

We are a household with an appreciation for cooking. The kitchen is fully stocked with high-end appliances both big and small and just about every cooking utensil you can think of.

The house is equipped with high speed internet and multiple satellite routers throughout to insure the fastest internet connection. Complimentary to the remote worker or student, there are a number of different workstations to choose from both in the house and outside.

This is not a party house. We are all remote workers who like to take full advantage of the day. We go to bed early, wake up early and charge the day for all it’s worth. Our ideal guest would fall into this category as well.

We are a quiet couple, offering space, comfort, and privacy in my large house in Pacific Beach. It's the ideal place for a relaxing vacation. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and there are many shops and restaurants close by.

The space
We are a quiet couple (and our baby bunny), offering space, comfort and privacy within walking distance of one of the best beaches of San Diego. We made this place home because we love the Pacific Beach lifestyle: every weekend is a relaxing beach vacation and that's the experience we propose to share with you. We’ve made your stay worry-free, bringing in all the comfort you may need (300+ sq. feet room with an en-suite private bathroom, queen size bed, bath & beach towels, internet access, garage, your own fridge, access to kitchen, washer & dryer, grill). The area is quiet and safe, only a few blocks from a broad array of shops and restaurants. We love meeting new people and are looking forward to your stay.

Guest access
We live in a large house (2500+ sq. feet) with a large living room, dining room, laundry room, kitchen and 3 bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), including yours. We are happy to share the living room and kitchen. You also have full access to the deck and garden, with barbecue grill. You are welcome to use the washer and dryer. There is a 4 seat table in the living room and another one on the deck in our backyard. Both offer a pleasant spot to eat (or work, if you need to). There are multiple sofas (including one in your room), comfortable armchairs and outdoor lounge chairs if you want to relax or take a nap. We kindly ask you not to come upstairs (where the other 2 bedrooms are) or use the dining room, and please keep the areas you use clean (e.g. kitchen, grill, dryer).

During your stay
My wife and I love traveling and enjoy meeting new people so we’ll be there for you - we tend to be fairly busy during the week but will stay in touch by phone or instant messages and we will be glad to share tips and tricks to make your stay memorable. On weekends, we will most likely be around the house, running errands and relaxing. We may have friends over for brunch or dinner once in a while but there is plenty of space for us to share.

Other things to note
We have two, Picky and Paco, who quietly roam around the house. If you are not comfortable with bunnies, this is not the place for you. But if you are, you will have a great time: our bunnies are very friendly, completely quiet, super clean and so fun to be around !

Nestled between Fiesta Bay and Sail Bay in the heart of Crown Point (Pacific Beach), and within walking, biking, and scootering distance of Pacific and Mission Beach, our beautiful little Bayside Office is the perfect sanctuary for business trips, conferences or a quick getaway! Our space is a small studio/custom home office that is a part of a small multi-unit building. We use our little office during the week as an office and then occasionally rent on the weekends or times we won't be using it.

Sorry but we do not have AC, just fans. We have lived in the area for over 20 years and have never had AC, most homes in Pacific Beach don't. Please note that sometimes we have a few heatwaves throughout the year.

Walk across a neighborhood street to gorgeous walking/biking/running/exploring Mission/Sail Bay and Pacific/Mission Beach. Newly remodeled. Queen Bed. Mini-split Air Con. Fast Wifi Internet. Private Entrance. Travertine shower and bathroom. Kitchenette with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink, & light kitchen supplies. Steps to Mission/Sail Bay. 2 beach cruiser bikes & 2 beach chairs. Common area courtyard with great seating, BBQ, etc. A small cozy studio, but a great recharge pad.

The space
Named after one of our favorite honeymoon stops in New Zealand. This is a newly designed and remodeled 200sf apartment. It is one room with a connected bathroom. Large travertine shower, with storage/hanging space in bath and quartz counters, and new fixtures. Space is not large, but highly functional. It has kitchenette w/ quartz counters, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink, Keurig coffee maker, water boiling kettle, toaster, & smoothie maker blender. Bed is queen sized, with 2 night stands + lamps + easy access outlets for charging devices/phones. Mini split AC/Heat system makes this a very comfortable place to rest your head. Everything needed for you and another to explore all San Diego has to offer from a centrally located, breezy spot that is right across the street from the beautiful Sail/Mission Bay. 2 beach cruiser bikes and 2 beach chairs are included with the studio. TV is a 32" HD LED smartTV, w/ Netflix provided.

Note that we have had some couples stay here and say it's the perfect amount of space, and love it! And some couples (or solo guests, or friends) say it was not enough room for them. So it is completely up to your preference and needs. Look at pictures, read description, and decide accordingly. We provide laptop/accessory/snack tables, but no other seating besides queen bed.

The outdoor common courtyard & bbq area is the best place to eat/relax. It's occasionally used by other guests/residents on the property. My wife and I live up front, and our 3 young boys also play with their toys in the courtyard sometimes FYI.

Kids live on property, you will see or occasionally hear kids or their toys.

The unit is on the ground floor of a 2-story structure. The above unit is a long-term tenant that leads a normal life, aka not a partier :). We've worked to eliminate most sound transfer from above, but it's impossible to eliminate all.

Guest access
Private entrance. Faces parking/alley, but blinded window makes this room very private. A great place to rest your head while you use the bikes to explore the bays, beaches, and San Diego. Guests can come and go as they please any time of day or night. Security lighting helps light the way.

Other things to note
This is not a big studio. It was modeled after a hotel room/bed and breakfast room. Bathroom is well-sized. Storage is modest. Kitchenette is all you need to have some cold drinks, make ice, keep ice cream frozen, make coffee/tea/smoothies/toast, and heat up leftovers or microwave foods. It is privately entered, and is very safe/secure, but it is not a large space. The common BBQ area and courtyard is yours to enjoy, but of course is communal aka shared with others. My wife and I live on the property with our 2 young boys, so don't be surprised to see them playing occasionally with toys out there :). There is a hose for washing sand off feet at SW of property, and an outdoor hot water shower.

Mattress is a Leesa mattress.

Street parking is free, safe, and available within 1 block (On Buena Vista Street near Moorland is always a guaranteed spot).

The bikes are great for cruising around Pacific Beach, riding along the beach, bay, or for quick transportation to and from the beach (only 1 block away)!
If you want to cook at home, our kitchen is fully outfitted with stainless steel appliances, dishes, glassware, and an indoor or outdoor dining table.

Other things to note
Things to note about the rental:

-The bay is 1 block away and the ocean waves are 6 blocks away.
-There is no A/C (please understand at night the temperature drops down into the low to mid 60's, the bedroom has a floor fan. Since you are so close to the ocean you will find a nice ocean breeze at night.)
-Check in is 3pm, if you arrive early you can drop your bags off while the maids clean.
-Rental is on the 1st floor. There is a rental above you. (You mite hear foot steps)
-Please understand this is not a party rental. You can expect that same from my neighbors.
-There is no parking. But there is plenty of free street parking.

By Booking this home, all guests must agree to the following House Rules and Booking Policies:

1. Rental Agreement & Guest Screening: By moving forward with this reservation, a rental agreement must be signed by the primary guest. You give permission to the property manager to verify your identity and check criminal databases to confirm the reservation. Verification requires uploading a valid ID, Drivers License, or Passport, along with a self photo of the primary reservation holder. Confirmed reservations are conditional and may be cancelled pending verification results.
2. Check-in is at 4 pm. Check-out time is any time before 11 am. You're welcome to request an early check in or late checkout, subject to availability. We are unable to confirm availability until 24 hours prior to arrival or departure.
3. Parties, events, or excessive noise are not allowed. Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 9PM-9AM. Violations after our initial warning may result in your removal from the property. We are located in a residential community and, although this is a vacation destination, it's home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and peaceful environment.
4. We do not allow smoking of any kind anywhere on the premises; including the use of e-cigarettes and marijuana. Those found in violation will incur a $500 cleaning fee.
5. Pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises, unless with written permission from your host. If pets are found to be on property, a $500 fee will be charged.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests recognize that they may personally purchase insurance to protect themselves in such events.
7. We understand accidents happen, so if there is any accidental or intentional damage caused to the home, please let us know prior to your departure.
8. This property may have video surveillance in outdoor public spaces to ensure the safety and security of all guests. There are no cameras inside the home. Noise meters may also be present in and around the property to ensure quiet hours are followed. We will only receive a notification of a noise event if the noise decibel threshold is exceeded. Please try to keep the fun at a respectful decibel level during the day, but at night we ask for no loud noises after 9 pm — if this sounds like something that will not work for your group, our property might not be the right one for you.
9. Guests are prohibited from carrying or otherwise possessing a firearm at any time on property grounds, including carrying firearms in an open or concealed manner. This policy applies to all types of firearms.
10. Occupancy is limited to the number of guests you indicate on your reservation. Any additional guests or visitors must be approved by your host.
11. Any items left behind can be sent back for a handling fee of $25 plus the cost to ship and must be prepared before the item will be sent.
