We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs, no other animals. Dogs should not be left alone at any time unless they are crate trained and can remain inside the crate without causing noise disturbances. We do charge a small pet fee to cover the cost of additional cleaning; however, this fee is not meant to cover any damage caused by guests’ dogs. If any damage occurs, a separate charge will be applied to cover the cost of repairing or replacing the affected items.

Make your visit to wine country memorable with a stay at the 5 star reviewed Historic Dayton Wine House on the National Historic Registry. You’ll feel the grandness of this 1885 Victorian home right when you step inside and experience its 11 foot ceilings and oversized rooms. This is the prominent home on the Dayton town square featuring over 3400 finished square feet, comfortably sleeping 11 people in 5 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms. Perfect for both large or small groups.

It is very important to us that sleeping be a luxurious experience the same as staying at a high end hotel: the mattresses are so comfortable and the linens and towels are all clean, white and high quality, that guests frequently ask where they can get them for their own homes.

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing a gourmet meal, with room for several chefs to cook at once. The 10 foot farmhouse table is a great gathering place and comfortably seats 12 people. There is a propane Weber for grilling and a large deck for enjoying a glass of wine outside. The half acre yard is perfect for kids or adults playing lawn games or just relaxing in the hammocks. Directly across the street the town square is a park including a playground, dog park and basketball court.

After a day of exploring and wine tasting, settle in to watch a movie on the theater-sized 135” HD projection TV with Paradigm speakers, or relax and listen to music in one of the leather club chairs in the adjacent living room. Or just take a soothing salt soak in the clawfoot tub.

For dining, walk a few blocks to The Joel Palmer house, one of the best fine dining restaurants in the Willamette Valley whose menu centers around mushrooms and truffles the owners forage. For breakfast, just walk directly across the street to The Blockhouse Cafe in an immaculately restored 1886 church.

Juanita’s Cafe has ice-cream in the front and excellent Mexican food in the back. Seufert winery and tasting room is also directly across the street from the wine house.

- "Wow…just, wow!! The house was well beyond our expectations. It’s gorgeous and so well appointed and equipped with everything we needed or wanted. The view and outdoor space are spectacular. In addition, the hospitality was truly above and beyond! They left a vase of flowers outside the door our first morning there and were super attentive to questions and requests throughout our stay. My group of friends and I have been to the Willamette Valley several times over the past decade. This house and its hosts stand out as exceptional. I would be delighted to book it again!"

This beautiful wine cottage is nestled in the heart of wine country in the Willamette Valley. It sits just off Stoller road, moments away from Stoller Vineyard. Just beyond are many renowned vineyards such as Domaine Serene, Domaine Droughin, White Rose Estate, and Sokol Blosser. One of my favorites is Soter Vineyard. You will need to call for reservations but it is absolutely special in quality and setting and I can't say enough good things. Treat yourselves to a provisional tasting if you get the chance! Sitting only 10 minutes to McMinnville, 7 minutes to Dundee, and 40 miles to Portland you can enjoy everything the region has to offer.

If you go to YouTube and search 'Wine Country Cottage' there is some drone footage of the outside of the cottage and surrounding area. I can't include a direct link since they are stripped out by the booking platform.

The cottage is almost always stocked with multiple complimentary or two for one tasting cards you can use at some of the regional vineyards. These are often changing so there is no guarantee exactly which ones we will have on hand at one time, but there will definitely be some! For example the most recent batch of tastings include Domaine Serene, Sokol Blosser, Stoller, Cougar Crest, Natalie's Vineyard, and Dobbes Tasting Room.

There are multiple wonderful restaurants and breweries a short drive away as well. The Painted Lady in Newberg has incredible food offerings and an exquisite wine list. It is one of the better fine dining establishments in the entire region.

The cottage has a full kitchen and comfortable living area that connects directly to a private back patio area with a full fire pit. There is nothing like sipping wine by the fire on a beautiful summer night in the Pacific Northwest. You can easily sleep four adults and a couple of kids. The spiral staircase is a bit steep so we recommend kids older than 8 years old to be safe.

There is a full private bedroom with queen bed on the main level, and another queen bed in the upstairs loft. There is also a sleeper sofa in another section of the loft. The living area has a new 4K HDTV, WiFi, and integrated streaming for Netflix, Amazon Prime Videos and most any other streaming option that you personally have access to.

Newberg, Dundee, and Lafayette have quite a few antique shops to peruse for your enjoyment. Don't forget to check the calendar in McMinnville as they often have quite a few events throughout the year to enjoy. The UFO Festival and the International Pinot Noir Festival are not to be missed! The cottage sits just off Stoller Road only moments from Highway 99, giving you easy access to one of the main thoroughfares in the region.

Water is on a well, please note although safe it does have a bit of a "salty" taste. It is recommended to bring bottled water for drinking and cooking if preferred.

Fruit orchard and 400 blueberry bushes, wild blackberries and our winery a short walk through the vineyard down the hill. Plenty of walking/hiking available on property and in the Eola Hills. Our guests rooms give each couple the opportunity for a private get away. Each of our three beautiful guest rooms features a private bath and french doors that open onto a deck overlooking the vineyard with a semi-private sitting area. Each ensuite bath has a large walk-in custom shower and our Eola Amity room also includes free-standing tub.

With our included bed and breakfast service you won't have to worry about the details. Enjoy a 3 course hand crafted hot breakfast served daily, menus can be worked out in advance to meet your dietary needs. We have small batch estate wine available, cheese platters and lot's of extra options to make your stay special. Plus we worry about all the details such as bed/bath linens, trash, plus cleaning and disinfecting.

We stay on site in our private quarters to ensure that your group is well taken care of during your stay at the vineyard. We use our main kitchen to prepare and serve breakfast 6am-noon. Then we use the main kitchen and our event BBQ barn from noon-5pm for wine pick-up and wine club member sip and shop appointments. Note wine club members or day visitors do not have access to the main guest house spaces. For private group rentals, we are happy to arrange a private wine tasting anytime during your stay.
