- "This is truly a resort area, not a typical hotel. It's quite a large property, and has many facilities, though we didnt use any. Denali national park is within 5 mins drive, and they have shuttles to take you there. There are also many tour buses starting from the hotel. - "Great place. Has anything we needed." - "This is a great cabin. There is no way to get any closer to Denali (1.6 miles to the visitors center). It is large and accommodated my family easily. It is a bit rustic, although nicer then most other cabins in Healy. Expect rustic no matter where you stay. We didn't cook any dinners there but it could use some more pots and pans if you plan on cooking any meals there. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. It took a bit to find the check in site (it is in the RV check in area, but don't worry, you will be far above the RV area). The only problem with the cabin was the 4th bedroom was actually the closet in the mater bedroom. We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Denali again"

The cabin is 320 sqft. It has hot and cold running water, kitchen sink , toilet and shower inside. Dishes, dish soap, cooking utensils, silverware, soap and shampoo included. Heating is supplied by a forced air furnace and a electric radiant heater. The bathroom is only accessible though the bedroom. There is a futon in the living room where another person could sleep. A two burner gas stovetop is provided along with a small refrigerator containing your complimentary sausage and eggs and other things.
Coffee and coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes and other things provided to make your stay enjoyable. Outdoor fire pit with unlimited firewood also included. ( although most summers here have a period of burn restrictions due to drought).
The cabin is about 24 miles from the main entrance of Denali Park. There are a couple or restaurants on the way to the park about ten miles from the cabin. The nearest gas is about 4 miles to the south in Cantwell. The best grocery store is in Healy about 35 miles to the north. The same direction as the park entrance. But about ten miles past it.
The cabin is set up for a maximum of two people. A quiet and relaxing setting. This is a small privately owned 5 acre homestead situated in a small rural subdivision. Me and my wife personally operate it and are onsite at all times. We don’t charge any extra fees for cleaning or any listed amenities. Our goal is to give you a place to relax and enjoy your trip to Denali without a book of rules and undue stress. We have frozen our rental price at 2019 levels to help keep your cost as low as possible. Thanks

This is a real nice cabin, mainly for a couple, honeymoon suite, but also is used for a larger group with tents set up in the yard and using the cabin as a base for the group. It has a lot of space around it, right on the lake, real close to the garden.
It has a single full sized bed, full bathroom with hot and cold water, full kitchen with everything you need except your food, wood stove and oil stove (constant heat if you wish), your own fire pit, wifi, Apple tv, and the ALASKAN DECOR you are looking for.
Most everyone loves this cabin, and returning guest always chose this one again and again.
~The only solar powered rentals in the Denali Park Area! Our whole homestead and business is 99% solar and wind powered. Also Alaska's first Public EV Charging Station powered by the sun.
We have 3 private lakes on the property and they are all filled with beautiful Rainbow Trout and Arctic Grayling. Fishing in the lakes normally must be with a guide, and is an additional charge. this is all 'catch and release'. Unguided is possible for experienced anglers with their own gear for an access fee. Also, there is a beautiful stream within walking distance with arctic grayling that you can fish unguided or guided.

Our Very Alaskan Maggie's Cabin is located 21 miles south of Denali National Park's entrance, right on the main highway #3 or George Parks hgwy, 215 miles north of Anchorage, 145 miles south of Fairbanks Alaska. Our place, and my homestead is situated in the most beautiful mountain valley anywhere in Alaska, with three private lakes full of beautiful Rainbow Trout and Arctic Grayling (fishing is an extra fee), and lots of space, hiking trails and activities, so everything you are looking for is right here! If you need more, all the Denali Park activities, eateries, gift shops, bus trips are just a few minutes away.
Most folks who fish in the lakes are guided and we have some wonderful guides ready to show you a great time, and get awesome photos of you with some trophy fish! This is an additional charge. They are a great asset to experienced anglers and teach lot's of folks to fly fish too. Unguided fishing is available also WITH AN ACCESS FEE if you have your own gear. Within walking distance is a beautiful stream with arctic grayling which you can fish unguided or guided.

The Carlo Cabin is located just 15 minutes south of Denali National Park. A beautiful three acre wooded property catering to families and small groups that want to be close to Denali, but away from the crowds; yet still have all the luxuries and amenities of home. The Cabin is a 5 minute walk from our main property McKinley Creekside Cabins & Café. We also offer complimentary Wi-Fi.

The Carlo Guest Cabin
*Two (2) Bedrooms.
*1st bedroom has one king bed.
*2nd bedroom has two queen beds with a ensuite bathroom.
*A second full bathroom is located down the hallway from the first bedroom.
*A living room with a Futon/sofa, Smart TV with satellite cable, DVD player w/movies, board games and cards.

A Cleaning Fee of $99 will be applied to your reservation. You will need to remove all trash to on-site dumpster, wash all dishes/put away, and clean kitchen counters.

There is a full service restaurant, The Creekside Cafe', located on our main property, a 5 minute walk away; open mid-May - mid-Sept. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

- "Very nice rustic environment" - "This was our favorite lodging on our vacation. Very clean and comfortable. Only there two nights, didn't use the kitchen so can't testify on amenities there. Good communication with host. Wifi was not very reliable." - "The first upside of this house is its location, within a 20 minute drive from most attractions in the area. Granted, this rental is quite expansive for what you get, but given the lack of quality rentals in the area, it’s worth paying more to be closer. The house was completely refurbished and renovated at the beginning of 2013, so everything inside is new and clean. There’s plenty of wood and the decoration is very modern. The appliances are brand new and the beds are firm and very comfortable. The free WI-FI worked great and you might enjoy HBO and Showtime on TV. Even if the overall experience was great, this house left us an unfinished taste. There are many small things that add up and lower the quality of the stay. Those are not real critics but some things needed to upgrade the stay. - There aren’t many drawers. That’s a problem especially if you’re staying in the house for a long time. - There are too few accessories in the kitchen (e.g. there is no colander). Since the house is far the major cities, you won’t find many restaurants and cooking your own meal is a great solution. But this scarcity sometimes makes the cooking tougher. On top of that, and even if the house has enough beds for six people, there were only five glasses. There were plenty of plastic glasses, but you’d expect better given the price of the rental. - There are a lot of mosquitos in Denali’s region but the house a way too few screens at the doors and windows. That prevented us from changing air inside he house, which is bothersome if you cooked something smelly. - I previously talked about the great TV offering. There are two TV sets in the house but only one has HD-quality programs. The only problem is that this HDTV is the bedroom, which means that if you want to relax in front of an HBO movie with your entire family you can either: get stuck with poor picture quality or seat on the master bedroom bed. If it’s impossible to get HD on both sets, switching the best quality to the living room might be better. - Finally, the house has brand new washer and dryer which is great. The only problem is that they are located in the corridor, in front of the bathroom and very close to the living room and there and there is no door to cover them. The problem here is that you’ll have to cope with the noise coming from the machines when you’re eating or watching TV. Once again, those are only small steps to make the experience better. I would definitely recommand this house"

- "The lower rating 4/5 is due to the driveway area on the property which is rough but everything else was great. Partner and I stayed for 4 night. Place was exactly as it said- just right for 4 wonderful days in Denali. Host’s stepdaughter and friend were amazingly helpful for local tips, moose watching, northern lights and blueberries- we saw it all! Place was ideal for long days away and having a comfy bed and hot shower. Would love an electric skillet but everything else was well thought out with everything that was needed for some light microwave use, fridge and comfortable accommodations. "

- "New and very clean. The tiny house is a part of a tiny house community that is developed on a gravel lot. The house has no insulation and cracks between the wall boards. In late August in Cantwell, AK the temperature drops down low. Only one small electric heater that does not have the capacity to heat the cabin. We turned on both eyes of the hot plate to help warm the cabin. The shower has no privacy…you have to get undressed in the living area and dry off/dressed in the same area. "

Large comfortable RV located on a quite dead end road just outside of Denali Park. As you relax on the large deck you can look at Denali Park mountains. 10 min.s up the road towards the Park entrance is a great restaurant that opens at 5 am. There is also a Pizza Pub and bar next door to the restaurant. The Park entrance is about a 20 min. drive from the RV. It is a extremely scenic drive. Cantwell is located 5 min. south of the RV. Beautiful views of Mt. Denali can be seen near Cantwell.

The space
The RV will be clean and outfitted with cooking utensils and plates, coffee maker ect. for your stay. There are two bunk beds with full mattresses and the master bedroom has a queen mattress. The couch also lays flat and could be used for sleeping. The RV is like a small apartment. The Fridge is large and has a freezer. Double sinks and propane stove.

A small cabin 12x24’. Directly behind my house. Short walk to cabin 200 ft. 1 queen bed in bedroom. The cabin has a small microwave, small fridge, small double sink, small coffee maker(and COFFEE), toaster, Electric teapot. Limited counter space. Hot and cold running water, toilet and tub/shower, LPgas BBQ, WiFi is available but not the greatest (spotty). no tv, no cell reception .Basic amenities. Futon and table in living room area. The cabin is located about 25 minutes from the park entrance.

Tiny living . A small space works best for a couple or a single guest. One queen bed and futon. Seating for two. Please let me know if someone intends to sleep on the futon so I can supply linen and a pillow.
Please remember to not flush the toilet or run the sink while someone is in the shower . It will affect the water temperature and pressure.

Please note that I live on the property and it is a working homestead not a hotel resort.
This tiny cabin is located behind my house. So there is not much of a view from the cabin. Mostly the back of my house. Parking will be in front of my house approximately 200 feet from the cabin( the path is fairly level and gravel and includes a small bridge). Please note there are pots and pans for cooking but there is no cooktop or oven inside there is a bbq grill with a side burner on the porch and a fire pit is available.I do supply dishes, silverware and complimentary sausage and eggs for breakfast and few canned items if you missed dinner. The WiFi is ok. Basic things only , not very good for streaming. . Please note that before May 15 th and after September 12 or there abouts , a lot of the services in the area haven’t opened yet or begin to shut down. Please ask about what is open or will be open when are staying at the cabin.

Our home is conveniently located 1/4 mile off The Parks Hwy and is a short 11-minute Drive to Denali National Parks only entrance road. This house checks all the boxes; 5-star living on the park boundary.

Our home is 100% newly furnished and outfitted. The living room, dining area and kitchen is an open floor plan that you will find extremely spacious for your group to enjoy. All 3-King Bedrooms are located downstairs so if people want to retire early they are not disturbed by others in the living area.

Our house is located at the end of the road in a very quiet tiny subdivision and sits on a 2-acre bluff with amazing views. Your group will feel like you are living in the middle of nowhere yet you will have all the amenities of a modern home.

We regularly spot wildlife out our living room windows. We are located in the "Healy" area 10-miles North of the Denali Park Entrance and it is where you want to stay; best park views, away from the congestion of the park entrance area (glitter gulch).

Our home is near everything; a 1-minute drive to the grocery/liquor store, 5-minute walk to Roses Cafe or a 15-minute walk to the Totem Bar.

Most area activities are located within minutes of the house; flight seeing, rafting, horseback riding, guided hiking, rafting, golf, biking, ATV, Zip lining and more.

For larger groups there are 2-private suites attached to our home. Each of the Luxury Suites are completely private from the main house and each other. Each Suite has their own entrances, living areas, kitchens, decks and washers and dryers.

My family and I are world travelers and always stay in a AirBnB. We understand you have high expectations for your groups Alaskan Adventure and we strive to exceed those expectations. We pay attention to all the important details; super clean, well stocked, owners answer the phone/texts immediately and everything works.

We have lived in Denali for over 25 years and love the area. We want our home to be an important part of your Denali experience and we are always close by to answer any questions, make suggestions or to solve any issues. Please feel free to contact us for advice, we have lots of area knowledge.

We always respect our guests privacy. Two weeks prior to your arrival we will email you detailed directions and key code for entry. You can check yourselves in anytime after 4pm. WIFI code is on the bulletin board near the front door.

Also on the bulletin board in the home we provide a list and brochures of all our favorite things to do and places to eat in the area.

We recommend you book your Denali National Park Shuttle or Tour Bus before you arrive, but all other area activities can be booked once you have arrived so you can gauge the weather and get a feel of what your group wants to do.

Please remember our house is right on the park boundary and a day spent enjoying the views and hiking out of the house can be extremely rewarding.

This log cabin has been the family guest cabin of the owners for the past 15 years. Now with recent improvements it is ready to be a part of your Alaskan experience. You can explore the region around Denali National Park and return here to enjoy comfort and privacy. Large windows look out into the old growth boreal forest and at a 6000' unnamed peak in the Alaska Range we call Nation Peak.

The space
The cabin is 450 square feet, including the entry way and bathroom. Maximum occupancy is two people. There is very limited cell phone reception, although you can utilize the high speed internet for Wifi calling. The kitchen was updated in 2020. There is a microwave, 2 burner conduction electric stove, fridge with freezer, and everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals. The price of the cabin includes a 7.5% bed tax which the owner pays to the local Denali Borough government.

Unfortunately, we have recently experienced the death of our most of our trees due to a spruce beetle infestation. Absolutely no outside fires are allowed due to high fire danger.

We are 214 miles north of Anchorage and 144 miles south of Fairbanks. Cantwell is 4 miles to the south, with very limited services. The entrance to Denali National Park is 24 miles to the north. The town of Healy is 35 miles to the north, with a full service grocery store and other year round services.

DENALI BOROUGH OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS TAX: The owner pays a 7.5% bed tax to the local government. AIRBNB has agreements with larger cities to collect the bed tax directly from the customer when making a reservation, however, for smaller municipalities like the Denali Borough, the owner must pay the bed tax separately out of their nightly rental rate. Please be advised that the nightly rate you pay includes this 7.5% tax.

Two in the bedroom and two on the futon. Please let me know if someone intends to sleep on the futon so I can supply linens for it. Or bring a sleeping bag maybe. The cabin is 150 miles from the closest Airport(Fairbanks). About 35 miles from a real grocery store. 4 miles from the closest gas station. You definitely need a vehicle for the area.

This is a very nice and comfy cabin. The Visitor Center is a beautiful very scenic 25 min drive thru the Alaska Range from the cabin. There's a great restaurant and pizza pub located 10 min towards the Park. We added a love seat for more seating.

This is a great place for families, and get togethers. You are treated like family while here, so enjoy playing with the boats on the lakes, take a sauna and swim with the fish, help us feed the fish, or rent a FAT BIKE.

We only have two guest cabins currently, so reserving early is strongly advised.

Also available: an instapot, cookie sheets, casserole dish and pie pan.

We always leave a canister of popcorn to pop on the stove, as well as flour, sugar and spices.

The home is heated with a diesel monitor located in the hall outside the bathroom. Feel free to adjust the heat to what is comfortable to you!

There is an essential oil diffuser, bring your favorite oil to diffuse or use one of ours.


2nd floor: Large sleeping area which includes one king bed and one full bed.

A twin mattress is also available in our “cub cave” for kids or a kid-at-heart to enjoy. Hammocks are available with designated hooks in place for those who prefer unconventional sleeping spaces.

Adjacent to the upstairs sleeping space is a 2nd story deck with patio seating to enjoy coffee and the view.

Of note, there is not cell service at the cabin for most cell providers. Enjoy being unplugged or plan to communicate with your friends and loved ones through wi-fi and/or the land line located in the home. If any issues arise trying to locate the property, it is best to drive towards Cantwell town to gain cell service.

We are in a tiny subdivision and see an abundance of wildlife in our neighborhood. You can easily walk to the end of our road to Dry Creek Drainage with great hiking right out of the house.

FAQ’s

I will email you detailed driving directions and the key code for entry two weeks prior to your arrival. Self-check in any time after 4pm.

You must have a rental car to stay at our property. There is plenty of parking and we are very easy to locate.

Our property is 4.5 hours north of Anchorage and 2 hours South of Fairbanks. There is only one highway between Anchorage and Fairbanks which makes navigation very easy. Follow the mile markers.

We recommend you book your park bus tour prior to arrival.

We recommend taking the Park Bus all the way to East Fork. There is only 1-road, so the least expensive bus takes the same exact route as the most expensive bus. You can book all other activities upon arrival depending on weather and your groups desires. All activity brochures are located in the entry way to the house, and most activities are nearby and/or can arrange to pick you up at the house.

You can drink our water.

We recycle.

We provide all linens, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper.

The Coffee Maker does not need filters and we provide drip coffee and powdered creamer and sugar.

From time-to-time people leave condiments and other non-perishable foods but please do not expect anything in the way of food items to be provided. Please bring everything you will need.

We provide propane for the BBQ.

For larger groups there is 1 other private unit located on this property (a 4-bedroom / 3-bathroom house).
