After a break in 2022 for upgrading the floors and some furniture, we have made the house available for our guests to book for 2023.

Location: Our house is in the midtown area of Anchorage, in a community on Tudor Road, one of the major streets in town. It is within a few miles to everywhere. The first time we saw it, we fell in love with it by its convenient location close to the University of Alaska, hospital, well-known Anchorage Botanical Garden, and an easy access to local restaurants and shops.

The Backyard: At the back of the house is the Reflection Lake that offers a full view to the living room and a huge backyard deck. The summer sunset takes quite a few hours and one can enjoy the sunshine on the deck even after11 pm. Frequently you can see kayaks or canoes drifting and ducks splashing water for fun.

The First Floor: Here you see the eating area, the kitchen, a powder room (a half bath), a French door to the deck, and of course the sitting room with a large window overlooking the lake. You can choose to have your breakfast either on the deck under the pavilion or at the eating area inside while enjoying the lake view. In addition, an electronic baby grand piano is available for your use. You will also see a smart TV in the sitting room. You can login your own accounts or use available Amazon Prime videos to watch movies and other TV shows.

The Second Floor: we have three bedrooms upstairs. Two bedrooms face East, and one faces South; each is bathed in a plenty of sunshine. Spacious and airy, the Mater Room has a king-size bed and an En-suite full bath. The Guest Room 1 is smaller with a queen-size bed; the Guest Room 2 also has a queen-size bed. Opposite to the Guest Room 2 is the second full bathroom in the hallway. All rooms are very clean, eye-appealing, with comfortable bedding. There are TVs in the Master Room and the Guest Room 1. At the loft on the second floor, there is a big TV with Amazon Fire TV cube, easy to find and stream all your favorite shows, movies, sports, and more. Prime has been purchased and is available for watching movies and shows. If you have accounts with other channels, it's easy to log in too. The loft area is a place that you can relax, watch TV, and hang out in the evening; children particularly love the place. Opposite the loft area is the laundry room where you can use the washer and dryer. Feel free to use the facilities; detergent, the ironing facility is provided for your convenience.

Seeing is believing; you're welcome to stay at our property and you will surely enjoy your morning and evening at the house when you return from the daily exciting trips in Anchorage or close-by areas.

We had 5 people, the youngest of which was 13. Everyone was very pleased with our stay. There was plenty of room for us to spend time hanging out together The kitchen is well equipped. We cooked in about half the time. The owners were wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay here again! The Alyeska Ski Area, a world-class downhill ski venue, is a little over 40 miles away. From here, one can also link to bike paths and cross-country ski trails that interconnect across all of Anchorage. Closer to home, when the salmon are running, you will get glimpses in the stream that borders your yard! This well kept space is cozy and inviting with an open concept layout, large bedroom, and vaulted loft ceiling. Conveniently located in UMED/UAA district with easy 5 minute walks to Providence, ANMC, and local cuisines. Only a 15 minute drive from the airport and downtown Anchorage!

This is a renovated apartment in and older building-- the pipes make loud noises which may be heard during the night.

The water for showers takes a long time to become hot.
