I might recommend the property considers having a small rug/shoe mat for the winter months. We used one of our own towels for our snowy/muddy shoes do that we didn’t track that throughout the room. Dining room could also use a nice area rug or two to help with sound echoing. The staff was polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend to singles or couples staying in the area (probably not the best for families with children given the nature of the suites/rooms layout). Electric car charging was convenient and nice to have on property too. Overall great place to stay in the area!"

This secluded and tranquil cottage on a 20 acre hobby farm is the perfect getaway. With walking trails from the back door to Abbott's Mill Nature Center on the adjacent property, it is perfect for birders, nature lovers, or just for a nice walk.
We are an easy 15 minute drive from the DE Turf Sports Complex on Rt. 1 north of Milford and 35 minutes from Sports at the Beach near Georgetown.
The cottage is small but feels spacious with a vaulted living room ceiling and open floor plan. There is lots of natural light with large windows throughout and french doors onto the beautiful screened porch. There is a gas grill just out the back door. The porch makes for wonderful indoor/outdoor living; deer can often be spotted in the wooded side yard or in the meadow out back. Wild turkeys show up occasionally as well.
The cottage is shaded and air conditioned for wonderful summer days and evenings and the radiant floor heat makes it cozy and warm in the winter.
Take a walk to the creek at the rear of the property or stroll through the woods to Abbott's Mill Nature Center. Abbott's is a 313-acre Nature Preserve and features trails open to the public, a preserved gristmill, a pond, meadows, an animal collection, and educational programs. They also host Music at the Mill on select summer weekends.
The Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay beaches are nearby. Lewes (30 minutes), Rehoboth Beach (30 minutes), and Ocean City, Maryland (45 minutes) are popular beach destinations. The water’s edge is only 70 feet from our cottage and the gentle waves are perfect for children and grandparents alike.

From our living room savor the 180 degree view of the vast Delaware Bay. The summer house is fully furnished; complete with two bedrooms including queen size beds, one queen size pullout sofa, two full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and outside shower. If you want more adventure bring along your kayak. During high tide enjoy swimming and fishing from the shore. During low tide wander the flats, exploring all the bay has to offer up close.

The recently renovated Cedar Creek Marina is only 5 minutes away. Here you will find beautiful boat ramps, easy on/off boat launch spaces and parking to accommodate large trucks and trailers. Spend the day or week boating on the bay, sunbathing, fishing or both. There is a small, one time fee for boating on the bay and may be purchased at Cedar Creek Marina.

Within the Slaughter Beach community, just a 10 minute walk away, a newly installed playground for children, pickle ball court and a small boardwalk that overlooks the marsh and its abundant bird life.

Delightful small beach house. Second year as a rental, lovely updates to entire house, comfortable furnishings and Bay views for miles! Fenced area for dogs.
We are Premier Hosts with other Vrbo properties here. Relax and enjoy the 14 miles or so open water of the Delaware Bay out your windows. Waterfront deck with picnic table with lots of seating. Watch the ships at night anchored out in the Bay with their lights on. Enjoy the balmy breezes.

So you know, we do not furnish sheets and towels but have them available as rentals. Also, we have a pet fee of $100 per pet and we have an enclosed area with 3 foot high fencing for them to do their business. We have dogs as members of our family. If you plan to bring a boat we would appreciate it if it is

Primehaven is the perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy time with family and friends. The house is a recently built (2012), open and airy, sanctuary that sleeps 6-7 people. The 1st floor of the house has an open living area which includes a large living room with cathedral ceiling, the deck, and a large kitchen, all with views of the wildlife refuge. This level also includes a queen bedroom suite with a full bath, a laundry room and powder room.

The second bedroom is actually a large second floor loft overlooking the first floor as well as the wildlife refuge. It has an open architecture as well, has a queen and two single beds and a trundle bed, and an office area (but who wants to work?), and of course, a full bath. Windows on the east side provide an overview of the bay and the community and to the west look over the beautiful refuge.

Family meals? The house has a well equipped kitchen and a dining area. We do not have a dish washer but do provide paper places if you don't want to wash the dishes! Beach toys? The house has many beach chairs to choose from, kites, boogie boards and large floats/boogie boards.

We hope you enjoy the time to unwind and escape the beach crowds to spend quiet time with family and friends. Please keep in mind that this is a private beach and is not a groomed beach.

Notes-
1. The TV in the living room is a smart TV. Should you desire, you may use your Netflix, Hulu (etc) account on that TV. Please make sure you sign out of your account before you leave! Please do not order movies on the Xfinity account.

2. We do not provide linens. Please bring up to 3 sets of queen sheets, 3 twin set for beds (a queen-ish set if you plan to use the pull out couch) and towels for the bath and beach. If you prefer to rent them please visit 227rent.com and they can drop off and pick up anything you will need.

Our fully remodeled home has everything you need for a perfect beach getaway! Just a short walk across the street to a beautiful, serene, private beach. Spend your day sunbathing, swimming, fishing, and strolling up and down the beach. When you get tired of the sun, sand and views, go for a walk or bike ride around our friendly neighborhood. Lewes and Rehoboth are a short drive away, as are Dewey, Bethany and Ocean City, MD. Milton (10 min) has small town charm, restaurants, takeout, grocery store and even two breweries! (Dogfish Head and Dewey-Harbeson).

The main bedroom has a high quality king mattress with Boll and Branch sheets. The second bedroom has two new twin Wink mattresses with Boll and Branch sheets. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room with a comfortable mattress. Sheets are provided for the sofa bed. There is a small side porch with sofa. New this year are sliding glass doors in each room that walk out to a huge screened in deck overlooking the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge! Nature lovers and bird watchers will be in heaven with plenty of comfortable seating and unlimited views of migratory birds and other wildlife. When the weather cooperates you can even sleep with the doors open letting the breeze and sounds of nature into the house!

Full kitchen includes all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots/pans, Ninja Foodie instant pot, coffee maker, toaster and Nutribullet blender, and a large refrigerator and freezer with automatic ice maker. There is a small side deck with sofa just off the kitchen to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or to hose off your sandy feet on the way back from the beach.

- "This house was pretty much perfect for our family of 5 + our lil' frenchie Herman. Prime Hook is one of our favorite low key beaches, and this house is steps from it. The house had everything we needed for the stay and everything worked perfectly. Having two showers was a blessing to clean 3 sandy kids and ourselves and not take an hour + of waiting in a sandy, hot, sweaty shower line. The sunroom was VERY NICE to hang out with your morning coffee and/or do puzzles with the kids as well. If you made it this far and need a tiny little push before you actually commit to renting, this place is 15 minutes away from the BEST food you will eat in your entire life, Po Boy's Creole. I know, shameless plug for our families favorite place to eat when we go on vacation :)"

This is a spacious furnished apartment connected to my home. Large bedroom with queen sized bed, living room, dinning nook, kitchenette and bathroom. As well as a private 2 car driveway and private direct entrance into the apartment. Queen sized air mattress fits comfortable in the common area or in the main bedroom.

The apartment is less than 5 miles from Dover Downs & DSU, less than 3 miles from Wesley College, and only minutes from the Dover AFB. Located just off of the Route 1 exits as well.

ABSOLUTELY NO PETS OR ANIMALS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED IN THE UNIT - Unfortunately, I can not host reservations with animals. I have severe allergies and the ventilation between the home and the apartment is shared as well as all outdoor spaces on the property. My physical health is a priority . Requests with animals will be declined. Reservations who show with an animal will be immediately cancelled without refund, a claim for the $150 security deposit as well as an additional $350 fee for deep cleaning and duct cleaning to remove all traces of allergens.

A family friendly community with lots of open space and a playground for kids! We are currently located near everything: Large shopping area with Walmart and lots of eateries including Starbucks, Chic-Fil-A, WAWA and more. Tanger Outlets is just a 25 minute drive. Rehoboth Beach, Lewes Beach and Killens Pond State Park are all less than 30 minutes away. Lots of entertainment including Lefty's Ally and Eats, Delaware River Adventures, Milford Museum and Harrington Raceway and Casino. A place you will never wan to leave.

Many people enjoy fishing here!!! WiFi and Cable available. Kitchen is fully stocked with the exception of a conventional oven and dishwasher. The constant question I get is "how close to the beach" is the house located. Well it is literally a 2 minute walk out the back door.

This is a cozy 1 bedroom studio apartment with a full bathroom and small kitchen right in the heart of downtown Frederica, Delaware. Everything inside this apartment is new! Access is super easy via Wi-Fi lock and the apartment has its own private entrance so that you can come and go as you please.

This apartment is 2.5 miles to Delaware Turf Sports Complexans 30 miles to the beaches. Route 1 freeway access is only half a mile from this space.

New memory foam mattresses are included on all beds and hotel quality cotton sheets (The king bed is a comfortable 12 inch memory foam). There is a 65 inch HDTV with channels available via YouTubeTV. A desk (as pictured) with charging for laptop/devices or for eating a meal is provided. White noise machines are available at each nightstand if you prefer white noise while you sleep. This space is professionally cleaned after each use.

The town of Frederica does have two good restaurant options. Frederica Pizza and Pasta house is a short walk from the front door of this apartment and a great place to grab something to eat or drink without having to get in your car. Burgers & Brews is also a short walk and has live music most weekends (only open March – November). JPs on the Wharf is another great restaurant with live music on the weekends located 6.2 miles in the small fishing town of Bowers Beach.

On street parking is free and available. As always, please make sure to not leave any valuables in your vehicle & keep it locked.

There is a firehouse across the street from this space. Alarms are not daily and most are not during bedtime hours, however, full disclosure that there the chance of the sound of a fire siren.

The house sits in front of a large pond filled with fish and geese drifting peacefully upon the waters. The recreational center is located around corner from the house that can be viewed from the dining area. within my home. The recreational center provides my guests with free access to an outdoor pool, gym & exercise equipment. A key is require for entry to recreational center. There’s a basketball & tennis court also available .

Welcome to Fishermen's Catch at Bowers Beach. This cozy cottage still possesses some of its original character. Once you enter into Fishermen's Catch, you will be moved by its energy, peace & serenity.

The sheer blinds to not provide any blockage or shade from the light. I was not able sleep beyond 5am during my stay. I never got a full nights sleep."

I am approximately 6 minutes from Bally’s Casino, 5 minutes from FireFly Festival and DSU, 6 minutes from Bayhealth Kent Campus, 30 minutes from Bayhealth Sussex Campus and 45 minutes from Delaware beaches and boardwalk.

Guest access
Guests are free to use the kitchen, family room and laundry area. Guests must provide their own laundry detergent and limit their wash to no more than 3 times per week.

During your stay
I am very sociable and encourage guests to feel free to spend time in the living areas. I welcome all questions via in person, phone call or text message.

Other things to note
I have 2 rooms listed on Airbnb and 1 1/2 bathrooms for guests to use. If another guest books the other room during your stay, the bathrooms will be shared with the other guest.
