Our room (springhouse 3) was comfortable and clean, pretty views from the balcony, fireplace was great to have on the 2 nights we stayed in mid february. I might recommend the property considers having a small rug/shoe mat for the winter months. We used one of our own towels for our snowy/muddy shoes do that we didn’t track that throughout the room. Dining room could also use a nice area rug or two to help with sound echoing. The staff was polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend to singles or couples staying in the area (probably not the best for families with children given the nature of the suites/rooms layout). Electric car charging was convenient and nice to have on property too. Overall great place to stay in the area!"

- "Exceeded my expectations. I knew that breakfast would be provided each morning. But I didn't know that Jeff is a restaurant chef and his wife Linda is a CIA trained pastry chef. Jeff and Linda were so friendly and accommodating. I felt almost as if I were staying with family. After breakfast I took my 2nd cup of coffee outside to the garden where I read for awhile. There was a sun porch and plenty of outdoor space to accomodate all guests. My partner and I were in the Commander's Room. It was spacious and comfy. The bathroom was updated, clean and provided all of the essentials. We had AC and a ceiling fan. There is no mini fridge in the room, but a medium size fridge for guest use on the main floor. The breakfasts were two course starting with some form of cut fruit (berries, baked apples etc) and a pastry (muffin, scone etc). Then came the main breakfast (Day 1: breakfast skillet full of veggies, sausage and an egg, Day 2: Pannetone Frenck Toast with bacon, Day 3: scrambled eggs, ham, hash browns and pancakes, Day 4: waffles and sausage). But everything was restaurant quality. 11/10 stars!!"

No cost but need proof of renting the space. The GPS sent you down a one way street that does not bring by the front of the property. This was a problem finding the property after dark. No climate control of the rental unit. The bed was confortable but it was a full size bed. I liked the location it was near Bandywine Creek nice for a walk or run."

We are pet-friendly and welcome your furry companions! However, please note the following:

Pets must be leashed at all times while on the property.
Pets must be crated if left unattended in the unit.

You are liable for any damage caused by your pet.

Additional Guests
If you plan to have any additional guests beyond those initially booked, please let us know in advance. There is a $20 fee per additional guest, per day. This includes even if guest are just utilizing pool.

The unit comfortably sleeps 4 but can sleep up to 6 - addition guest after 4 are an additional $20 per guest per night.

Early check in and check out is available upon request for a $25 fee as long as the cleaners can accommodate!u

Your access is limited to the studio, pool & sun room. Studio is entered via our two-car garage—however, no parking or use of the garage is allowed. Enjoy ample driveway parking for all your needs! Relax in our hot tub, located in the sunroom attached to our home, at the bottom of the breezeway to the left!

We provide all starter supplies for your stay including paper towels, toilet paper, coffee. However we do not refill these items. Once you've used what's provided you will need to supply your own for the remainder of the stay!

We strive to provide our guests with a peaceful retreat. While we live on the property and are always available if you need assistance or have any questions, we prefer to give you space to enjoy your stay. Whether you need recommendations, help with the home, or anything else, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!

Our home is 15 min from Lewes. The beaches & tax free shopping are close as well. We are 10 minutes from the Delaware turf complex. 10 minutes from broadkill beach, 12 minutes from easySpeak distillery/restaurant & approximately 10 minutes away from historic Milton including Dogfish brewery. Located directly off of route one makes for an easy commute north or south.

Please keep in mind that our Studio is nestled along the woods and right next to a creek, which means summertime bugs can sometimes be an issue. While we do have a pest control service in place, there is only so much that can be done given the natural surroundings.

To help minimize any inconvenience, we kindly ask that you keep doors and windows closed when not in use. This will help reduce the likelihood of unwanted pests making their way indoors.

We do have three dogs ourselves.

None of the outdoor space is private, it's all shared.

This spacious basement room is conveniently located 2 miles from University of Delaware’s Main Street. College Square has been freshly renovated and is .8 mile from us with a grocery store. There are trails and beautiful views close by. Our place is cozy and we have two cats who would love to make your acquaintance.

Please note, we do live in the house and we have a newborn baby that will be upstairs.

Also, the litter boxes for our cats are located in the basement. Note, we clean boxes daily.
