- "We had a great stay! The adjustable beds were a definite plus. The house is super cute and comfortable. We enjoyed the lake view very much, watching all the ducks was very peaceful. And the development was super quiet. Great communications as far as directions, checking in & out, where to leave the trash, etc. There were just a few small details that could use improvement. A good frying pan would have been helpful, the ones that were provided needed serious cleaning. Luckily I was able to reach out to a friend who was staying with us and they were able to bring a pan from home. The inside of the stove needs cleaning. There were only 2 wash cloths for 4 people, no dishtowel, no extra trash bags and only 1 dishwasher detergent pod. (we did the dishes by hand) That being said, we would definitely stay here again, it wouldn't be enough to keep us from booking again, we would just make sure to bring more ammenities with us next time. My only real complaint, which is also an easy fix, is to make sure the shower floor is rinsed thoroughly after cleaning. Whatever was used left the shower floor super slippery. This could have caused a major injury instead of just a sore hip and knee. But again, the house is super cute, it has a great porch and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again. "

- "This is a very old and charming inn. People that book rooms here that don’t like rustic and historical buildings shouldn’t get so upset, because pictures and descriptions are very clear on what the inn is. My partner and I would rather stay in a place like this, over those high rise hotels with no personality. The room was quite small, but the bed was comfortable and I felt at home the entire time I was there. The room we were in (Babcock) had slanted ceilings, so tall people watch out lol. Very vintage decor which we love. The bathroom stall is a bit cramped, especially for people that are of a bigger frame. There was complimentary waters, cereal, coffee, tea, muffins etc, available at all times. I felt safe in the neighborhood. There is a riverside restaurant at the bottom of the hill that had live music the day we got there. I was bummed we missed it, I really wanted to try the food and the atmosphere was inviting. The owner and innkeeper was informative and nice. We would stay here again."

Large beautiful gated farm estate located within one hour of Philadelphia, 20 minutes to Atlantic City and beach and 2 hours to New York by car or 10 min to rail station. Location location location this property sits back in the woods of 20 acres out front and the pine bearings extending after that. This beautiful property is great for a family reunion, wedding, or a weekend get away. This home is large enough to sleep about 12 it has 4 bedrooms, 2 and a half bathrooms, and 2 family rooms. The kids would never be bored at this property, we also have a kids cave/ party cave set up in the garage. Wonderful beautiful walking trails on the property. Half pipe skate board ramp, basketball hoops, pool table, swimming pool and grill,( bring your propane or fill up at local gas station).

- "The property itself is very beautiful, but the bedrooms, especially the master bedroom was unkept. I reached out to the host, but they took a whole day to respond to me. The master bedroom sink does not work well, I was unable to use it because it was clocked up so, I had to use the main bathroom. The floors were disgusting. Lots of smear on that beautiful wooden floor you could tell it needed to be swept, then mopped. There was a wasp nest right between the sliding door so there was wasp coming inside the master bedroom. There was a dirty G string underwear under my bed. The entire room also needed to be dusted down. It was very very dusty."

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances, cookware, and dishes, plus we provide six fresh eggs from our chickens to kickstart your stay. For dining, there's a four-seat round dining table, plus three barstools at the kitchen counter.

The living room opens to a spacious, covered rear deck with four hanging egg chairs and additional seating, all overlooking a peaceful wooded sanctuary. Swan Lake Resort spans 160 acres and features a 30-acre fishing lake. While it’s a housing community, not a cabin in the woods, it offers plenty of natural beauty and amenities. Enjoy cleared walking trails, a great picnic area near the dam, and the calming sounds of nature that will melt away your stress. The walking trails loop back to a charming, covered bridge.

For fitness enthusiasts, we have a state-of-the-art gym, open from 5 AM to 10 PM. Access to the gym is included with your stay, and an access code will be provided.

This cabin designed and built by Lokal Hotel located in a secluded, rural setting in the New Jersey Pine Barrens allowing you to escape from urban life (no TV)! Set in the woods with natural landscaping and local wildlife. A large porch surrounds a hot tub in the front of the house. Also included: fire pit, Big Green Egg grill, and an entire outdoor game shed complete with a basketball hoop, ping pong table, darts, and more. The house boasts a commercial kitchen and has a Scandinavian style.

The space
The Lokal Chalet is located on 30 secluded acres in South Jersey 50 minutes outside of Philly and 45 minutes from Cape May. This cabin in the middle of the woods sleeps up to 8 people and has a focus on games, music and nature. Includes 3 bedrooms and one optional loft attic. Designed for those who love and are comfortable in nature, including grasses, trees, and even wildlife. Disconnect and relax in Lokal style.

This house is designed for guests 100% of the time and has no personal belongings. There is one locked closet in the basement for the cleaners to access to replenish goods.

Other things to note
There are grocery stores and nearby towns that are within 15 minutes of the cabin, but we advise planning for meals and beverages prior to arrival. Please note this is a cabin in the woods, designed for guests who are comfortable with nature.

Mullica River Kingfisher Cottage is located in the heart of the NJ Pine Barrens in the quaint village of Sweetwater. This bright and cozy cottage is steps from the Mullica River and 1 mile from Historic Batsto Village and the Sweetwater Riverdeck & Marina. This property offers direct backyard Mullica River access for swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing. There are a couple of kayaks and a canoe on site available for guest use. The property also has a riverside fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

This is a fully detached private cottage with separate and private entry, approx 1300 sq. ft.

Bright and open floor plan with natural skylights throughout. The cedar lined sunroom features a reading chair + bistro dining set that faces the beautiful Mullica River. This spectacular view is the best seat in the house; capturing unique and abundant wildlife that frequent the property and riverfront. Beaver, geese, hummingbirds, tons of other backyard birds, woodpeckers, mallards, hawks, eagles, herons, wild Turkey, turtles and more! Binoculars and bird book provided.

Full equipped kitchen features a propane gas range/oven, microwave, toaster, full size refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher. Cabinets are stocked with pots/pans/utensils, etc.

Both bedrooms are equipped with a Queen mattress.

The brand new LUXE bathroom features a custom tiled shower, single vanity/sink, and toilet.

All linens are included (towels, sheets, blankets, pillowcases, dishtowels).

If you want to bring your own linens I’ll refund you $30. Just message me ahead of time with at least a week’s notice. :)

Sit out on the back deck overlooking the Mullica River while enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee or cold beverage. In the summer months, the fireflies light up the pines for an evening treat. In the cooler months, roast marshmallows over an open fire right on the river in the backyard recessed fire pit. We have Adirondack POLYWOOD style chairs, tons of wood - large, kindling, starter material. Please leave your own firewood at home.

We are minutes from Crowley's Landing Boat launch and Sweetwater Marina and Riverdeck-both equipped with boat ramps.

Verizon cell service in the area is top notch; other service providers will be unreliable, unless on wifi.

The cottage has WiFi and a Smart TV enabled with Netflix. If you prefer to unplug, there are books, magazines, board games, and puzzles located throughout the cottage.

Guest Use of any/all amenities are at your own risk. This includes but is not limited to: kayaks/paddles, swimming in the river, fishing, tubing, fire pit, etc. this applies to all guests in your party.

Our property offers direct backyard Mullica River access for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. There are kayaks, and 1 canoe, on site available for guest use.

Guest access
As a guest in this space you will have full access to all parts of the 1 acre property, the river outdoor amenities. There is another cottage rental on this property that is separate and detached. Common outdoor areas, such as the riverside firepit/kayaks/canoe, are shared among the guests of the adjacent rental on the property if occupied.
