Over the last 6 months, this 1950's 2 bed 1 bath home has been completely renovated into a cozy 3/2 that welcomes all visitors! The back yard is next on the list. A new fence went in March of 2018 to ensure privacy and allow the canines or kids to romp about. It is large and quiet. Unique to our place is a quaint private terrace for your private use. Our trickling pond can be heard to make it even more relaxing. Use of the backyard space for a fire pit or lounging is an option with request.

Parr Park is also another wonderful option especially if you like to exercise or have children to entertain. It lies behind our neighborhood and is a few biking or driving blocks away. It is about a mile walk.

Just one and two stoplights down you will find unending options of eateries and shopping as well as entertainment options like Chicken N’ Pickle, Cinepolis and Dave and Buster’s. This is in addition to the popular tourist spots listed above!

People tell me my house is welcoming and comfortable. I live in the home. Your space includes a private bedroom with a bathroom across the hall and access to common areas. A total of 2 persons including yourself may stay. Each person after you is $25.00 per nite. Off street parking is recommended, please, park on the left side of the driveway. There are plenty of sitting places outside if you enjoy smoking. WIFI is available for video streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime. It is my joy to provide you with a home away from home. I enjoy the company of sojourners, married couples, university students, and other professionals who like to travel. Still, I respect your privacy and will be available as needed. Airbnb is an intricate part of support for participating in missions trips. Whether you are here for vacation, school or business you will love the two mile walk to our quaint downtown Grapevine, four-minute walk to the lake or the ten-minute bike ride to the Gaylord Texan. Don’t leave town without visiting one of the largest malls in the US at Grapevine Mills Mall or eating some of the best barbecue in the south.

After living here for 33 years I am very familiar with Dallas and Fort Worth so if I can be of any assistance to you don't hesitate to ask. I can recommend the best times to travel, shortcuts, and places to go and not to go.

Other things to note
April and October are the best months in Texas. We can finally throw open the windows and enjoy the fresh air. Winters are very mild to someone who grew up in the north, but it does get hot here in the summer. If you enjoy music there are a number of clubs for some of the best jazz you'll ever hear, piano bars, dance places, theater, and orchestra. We are also home to some of the US greatest art museums.
There are pamphlets in the room for great little restaurants and suggesting places of interest. Coming and going: Please make sure all doors and windows are locked. If using my bike please return it to the back yard and shut gate tightly to keep the dog in. Help yourself to living areas TV and kitchen. Use and return items to their proper places. Please ask if I can be of any assistance to you, that's the fun part. Also, I welcome your advice and ideas about how to make your stay most comfortable, relaxing, and stress free.

This beach-themed townhouse is in a residential neighborhood. Absolutely no parties allowed. Families are welcome! Upstairs has a master with a king bed and private bath, plus another room with a queen bed and hall bath. Downstairs has the 3rd bedroom with a double bed and twin-size trundle bed, plus another hall bath. The house has a 2-car carport in back and street parking in front. There's a private pool operated by the HOA, which is open from Memorial Day til Labor Day. Additionally, there's a ballfield, park, spraygrounds, tennis courts, and public pool w/ water slide right across the street, and the lake is just a few blocks away. You can't beat the location. Downtown Grapevine, DFW Airport, and Gaylord Hotel are also very close.

Off of the living room is a large comfortable office with a seating area and desk perfect for catching up on e-mails and remote work. Down the hall the primary bedroom features a queen sized bed, a large mounted TV and an ensuite bathroom with an oversized garden tub. Two nicely appointed bedrooms complete this home with two comfy queen beds. Guests will also have access to a full sized washer and dryer, a large oversized back yard and 2-car garage!

Welcome to our conveniently located and tastefully decorated two-story retreat, perfect for memorable gatherings with friends and family. This fabulous home boasts four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, two dining areas, and two living rooms.

Bedrooms:

The master bedroom features a plush king-size bed, dressers, nightstands, and an attached bathroom with two walk-in closets. Enjoy entertainment on the 65" smart TV. Sleeps 2.
The second bedroom offers a comfortable queen-size bed, dresser, nightstands, and a walk-in closet. Sleeps 2.
In the third bedroom, you'll find another queen-size bed, nightstand, and walk-in closet. Sleeps 2.
The fourth bedroom includes a queen-size bed, daybed with a pull-out bed, dresser, nightstands, and a walk-in closet. Sleeps 4.
The living room provides additional sleeping space with a convertible sofa bed. Sleeps 1.

Bathrooms:
One convenient half bathroom is located downstairs, while two full bathrooms are situated upstairs for added comfort and convenience.

Parking:
Guests can utilize parking spaces in the garage, in front of the house, and in the driveway, ensuring hassle-free arrivals and departures.

Guests have full access to the washer and dryer, making laundry tasks simple and convenient throughout their stay.

Our little red house is within walking distance to historic downtown Grapevine (the Christmas Capital of Texas) as well as within 8 minutes to the airport. From the large backyard, you can hear the music playing at the festivals throughout the year as well as sit and enjoy the squirrels antics. Over the last 6 months, this 1950's 2 bed 1 bath home has been completely renovated into a cozy 3/2 that welcomes all visitors!
The back yard has a new fence. It is large and quiet. Enjoy.

Passed down through the generations, we purchased the home in 2018 and took it to the studs to bring it into it's glory but keep the character our community is known for. The quiet neighborhood and large yard allows for quiet nights and peaceful days. While the access to downtown Grapevine and local transportation to the entire DFW is just a short walk away.
On top of that, all the artwork has been created by local artists. Think of the house as a mini gallery - everything is for sale if you want it - just ask.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home. They will not be sharing with anyone but those in their own party. The only space not available is a shed in the back yard - that is our wood working shop. We do not use it while guests are present, but it does help us prepare to vend at the local festivals.
The yard is large, spacious and waiting on a full fence. That is the next is planned for our next phase. It is the next area to be renovated as the weather permits.

In the past, we have had a guests that acted in a less than respectful way while staying at our house. In rare cases the neighbors have been forced to call the police to address their behavior. Please know that if this happens during your stay, you will be asked to leave immediately; without a refund and without regard for time of day or night.
