Unauthorized Animal/Pet Fee: $250.00

Missing or damaged items - Any evidence of willful or negligent loss or damage to the property, furnishings, decoration, landscaping, towels, linens, or other items will be charged at direct replacement cost plus a fine of up to $300.00.

Towels and linens - Guests are required to keep towels and linens in good condition. Towels and washcloths should not be used to remove makeup or for cleaning purposes. Any permanent stains on towels or linens will fall into the category of negligent damage and are not included in the damage protection policy. Guests should NOT wash comforters or duvet comforters themselves as this can cause damage to those items and the washing machine.

House Rules - Any evidence of a guest breaking posted house rules, including exceeding the occupancy listed by the guest on the reservation, parking restrictions, pool rules, illegal substances, or use of the property can result in a fine of up to $1000.00 and/or eviction from the property.

The towels look dirty and crumbled in the bathroom apartment smelled like weed and we had a charge a heap to charge on my credit card without permission blaming us that we broke something which we did not . We tried to contact the host numerous times about the charge that they did not have permission to charge and would not respond in any manner terrible terrible terrible stay I would never recommend this company ever. My daughter stayed in the apartment above owned by the same company and host and their stay was terrible as well. The communication was awful. Their apartment smelled like weed. -Trash bins are on left side of garage. Please do not use the neighbor’s bins by the driveway, in the cedar fenced- in area.
-This home has window AC units and may be warm in +90F, +65% Humidity conditions. On those days a 10% discount will be given at the host’s discretion upon request.
-This is a vacation rental, not a long-term rental.
PARKING: Do not block driveway. Garage (2 vehicle), shared driveway (4 vehicles), free street parking (4PM – 7AM on week days). Free street parking 24 hours on weekends. No street parking within 12 hours of an expected snowfall of more than 2 inches or until the snow has been removed.
-No street parking when posted on 1-2 parade days/year. Parades may start by 8-9 am or 12 pm and will block Old Grand Ave for 1-2 hours. Be sure to move your car off property beforehand or you will not be able to leave until the parade is over.
-Gurnee Days Parade 2026, Sun. Aug. 1-15th TBD at noon. Note Gurnee Days Festival 2026 Saturday August 1 and 14 TBD.
-Warren High School Homecoming Parade 10/04/2025 at 9 am, staging at 8am.
-Snowplow and snow shoveling services automatically start with 1.5" of snow and occur anytime overnight and during day according to snow depth. Please do not block driveway and snowplows.
-Violations of rules may result in immediate reservation cancellation and eviction at host’s and/or rental portal service’s discretion.
-Host may occasionally be on site and a neighbor parks his car onsite so please do not block the driveway or garage
-No refunds will be given for issues that arise if the host isn’t notified & provided an opportunity to remedy the issues.
-We have security cameras on, located on house corners, doorbells, garage, & 1 tree recording the exterior including doors, deck, windows, garage and parking. No cameras look into inside or are located inside the home. Non recording Minut noise monitors are on, in living room & upstairs hall inside.
-One Minut noise and smoke monitor in living room and one in upstairs hallway, i.e. common areas, not in bedrooms or baths. Both units are on and do not record audio, only monitor sound decibels.
-Guest tampering with, blocking, disabling or unplugging of cameras, camera gateways, lock gateways Minut noise and smoke monitors, WIFI, internet, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, door locks, window locks, garage door keypads, garage locks, or lock boxes are subject to immediate cancellation of stay without refund or recourse
-Guests are not to send or receive mail or packages at the rental under penalty of immediate cancellation of stay without refund or recourse
-Airbnb Services, Airbnb Experiences and all other guest hired services like yoga classes, massages, decorating services, catering, entertainers, chef services, and all other outside services are not allowed in or allowed on the property. If this house rule is violated, the Guest's stay will be subject to immediate cancellation without refund, and all the guests and unauthorized guests will be required to leave the property immediately. Additionally, the guest agrees to an extra $30 charge per non registered guest or service provider per day, found to be on or in the property. The guest also agrees to pay for all damage repair and additional clean-up of the property to restore it to pristine rental condition.
