- "Lovely Victorian home that is charmingly decorated. Our bedroom was the Jessica room and was very comfortable. There were very pleasant common areas, a nice three season porch, a living room, and parlor with a pool table. Also the dining room has a lovely dining table that can accommodate most of the guests in one sitting and we had a nice time chatting and getting to know the other visitors over breakfast. Our host served a fabulous breakfast, sausage, waffles, three fruit toppings, and real whipped cream! She was very friendly and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay and considered it a great value."

- "Knowing this was a newer listing, we weren’t exactly sure what to expect on arrival. However, once we were there, we loved every aspect! Plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. Inside: Open kitchen, dining area and family room was extremely functional for multiple people all enjoying time together. Each room had its own individual temperature control, which was beneficial for the wide range of needs for our family. Every comfort was attended to inside, including TVs in all rooms with plenty of viewing options for all ages. Outside: Multiple areas to relax and have some fun. Large fenced in yard so dog could run freely, flat for yard games and separate living space with pool table which made for relaxing escape. A bunch of nice touches for kids and adults alike. But our favorite was the peacefulness of the property as boat traffic was minimal, view was great, used the dock a number of times to tie up and take a break from being on the lakes with 24’ pontoon, fire-pit was out near water and very spacious. There were a few things that owner was still working on but that’s to be expected and is actually appreciated as they continue to upgrade the experience. Communication with owner was exceptional. Obviously, we thoroughly enjoyed the property and would highly recommend !"

Our 2021 Mallard by Heartland M180BH RV sleeps 4, it has an indoor shower/tub, kitchen has microwave, electric stove, sink and refrigerator with doodle station, corian countertops and silver and plasticware, cups, mugs and coffee maker included, dining set that folds into a sleeping area. One full queen size folding bed that turns into a couch and two full sized bunk beds. AC unit, electric heat, plenty of storage and lighting throughout, AM/FM radio with bluetooth, USB and HDMI ports, hydraulic awning and hitch lock systems. Propane tanks and gas hookup in unit, outside lights, party center with small fridge, sink and countertops located on the exterior of the unit and an extra outside shower provided on the exterior of the RV.

- "To start, there was already someone in our room when we got there. Then we were moved to a different room - which was opened with the same door code! The room was nothing like the photos shown in the Vrbo listing. No doorknob on bathroom door, a smoke alarm was chirping from inside a locked room for our entire visit, the internet was unreliable. A man opened our door while we were there. Obviously he was given the same door code. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked well, although the bathroom faucet was reversed, hot & cold. No rugs on the floor so salt and snow was unavoidably spread all over the room. The only lighting is overhead which is not conducive to a homey feel. Communication was poor, and response from the host was slow or nonexistent "

The second bedroom has a queen bed with nightstand and a chair 1/2 twin sleeper featuring direct lake views out of 5 of 7 windows (smart TV). The main floor also has a remodeled bathroom with shower. - "We needed a pet friendly place to stay for funeral. Rental was neat and clean and met our needs for two nights we were there. There were a few things that could be improved in this price range. There are no smart tv ‘s or cable and antenna went out often. Water had strong sulfur smell and beds were not the most comfortable. However, the home was very clean and nicely decorated. We didn’t really use kitchen or outdoor water area but they looked well appointed. So grateful we found somewhere so clean and quiet on fairly short notice."

Welcome to Mellow Yellow, an adorable home with everything you need. Located close to downtown Grayslake where you will find restaurants, bars and cute hometown stores. Walk to Jones Island to relax on the beach or head to the Aquatic Family Center for a dip in the pool. Enjoy nearby attractions, Lake County Fairgrounds, Six Flags Great America, Great Lakes Naval Base, and Gurnee Mills Mall, or spend the day in Chicago which is 29 miles. Adorable home with hardwood floors throughout. Kitchen is nicely updated. Both bedrooms have newer queen beds. Bathroom is not large but functional. Great deck in backyard and large shaded backyard.

You can walk to downtown or the lake. You can also drive around and parking is easy. During the summer from June 8th-September 28th, Grayslake has a farmers market every Wednesday from 3pm-7pm. In the spring from April 16th-June4th it runs on Saturday's from 10am-2pm and in the fall from October 1st-December 17th again on Saturday's from 10am-2pm.

-Please be sure to list how many guests will be staying in order for us to provide enough towels and linens.
-No parties, loud noises, or events.
-No unregistered guests.
-No smoking at all of any kind inside. Minimum" $200 fee and possibly more depending on cleaning/damages.
-Accidents can happen, if something should happen or something breaks oftentimes there will not be an added charge as long as you notify me of it. If the issue is discovered later, there will be an additional charge.
-Extended stays longer than 21 days will require an extra cleaning fee
PETS:
-Pet fee of $100 for up to 2 dogs (no puppies or dogs younger than 1 1/2 years, no cats or other animals, double the fee if dogs not registered).
- Dogs cannot be left unattended outside or inside unless they are crated inside.
- Please, Please, Please pick up all dog waste, put in tied plastic bag and put in garbage. Additional fee if not.
- No obsessive dog barking.
BATHROOMS:
“Dark” wash clothes are available to use when removing make-up. Please do not use the white clothes.
-Please be careful with hair in sinks and only toilet paper in the toilet. (I know, sounds crazy but need to say it) 😉
KITCHEN:
- Dishwasher is for your use but only run the dishwasher while you are home in case there is ever a leak.
