You'll be staying right between the two neighborhoods in a quiet, relaxing, and safe family-friendly area, yet close enough to go out and have some fun in the town.

Just a 10 minute drive south and west are Fremont and downtown Ballard which have plenty of nightlife, bars, and on Sundays, a market of farmers and craftspeople. 15 minutes to downtown Seattle and just a quick drive away for a day-trip to the mountains or the islands!

All switches in the house are smart dimmer switches. Simply say "Alexa, turn on the kitchen lights to 50%" to control the lights in the home. For manual control, click a lightswitch to turn on or off, press and hold to brighten or dim.

Our home is a three story townhouse and there are two flights of stairs. The Garage and entryway are on the first floor, kitchen, powder room, and living room are on the second floor, and bedrooms and bath are on the third floor.

If you are planning to rent a car, we recommend a small or midsize car. Larger cars such as trucks or SUV's will be very tight in the garage.

We supply various workout equipment and offer a mini gym in the home, as well as many outdoor games and activities. Please make sure to contact us if you have a specific workout or activity in mind, we want to make sure we have the equipment you expect and will be satisfied with the amenities we supply.

Every few weekends between 9am and 5pm we hire gardeners to mow, weed, and clean up leaves in the yard.

There are two nest cameras for additional security and theft deterrence at the entrances of the home. One is at the front door, the other is inside the garage at the garage entrance.

This location was conveniently located just block off the Interstate. Staying in a vacation rental was perfect and made our time there feel like home. We were able to cook, do laundry, and we enjoyed the walkability of this location. The home is beautiful and well appointed! I found it to be comfortable, quiet, cozy and safe! The beds are very comfortable and the on-demand hot water is awesome!! The home is situated in a cul-de-sac type driveway, which helps with privacy, but unfortunately it is not paved and pretty bumpy. We had a brief snafu on arrival with the entry code not working, and the property manager was unavailable for a couple hours. Once the issue was resolved, he refunded me one night’s stay to compensate for the trouble. We sincerely enjoyed this home and I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to others!"

However, he allowed it go off for over 50 minutes without silencing it and didn’t come to his bedroom door when the host and other guests pounded on it to wake him.

These behaviors demonstrated the lack of maturity and respect that he had to sharing a space with others and we stand firm in our decision to ask him to leave so he could find a living arrangement that better suited his lifestyle.

All that aside….we have two friendly corgis live on the property who enjoy making new friends. We respect guests' wishes for privacy and do our best to keep them away from guests if they are afraid of dogs or have allergies. Please let us know if this is the case when booking your stay.
