- "This cabin was a nice hide away from all the electronics we deal with in our everyday life. It is tucked into a beautiful setting." - "Did NOT want to leave! North Idaho is my home away from home and this place was perfect to reconnect! A few tips- Bring slippers! The floors are concrete and they want you to take your shoes off. Don't plan on sleeping in if you're affected by the sun and like it dark- there is no covering for the bedroom sliding glass door. A little note to also remember - there are more movies in the closet upstairs. Overall this place is really great! PS- the dresser drawers stick in the master bedroom 😊"

Bask in the sun on the large deck or from the private dock. The property is conveniently located across from Bottle Bay Marina, which offers dining, boat/kayak rentals, gas, and a boat launch. The beautiful, lively town of Sandpoint is close by (25 minutes by car or 15 by boat). Also, check out the many restaurants on Lake Pend Oreille's shores!

This house has unique features throughout. The custom kitchen table, bathroom countertops, and fireplace mantle were hand-crafted out of trees from the property that were removed for the build. Knotty alder and pine finishes will make you feel right at home in north Idaho! Enjoy a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with well-stocked wood storage, an open timber staircase leading to a large loft, and a room of built-in bunk beds that will wow you!

The house offers plenty of space for a large group or will cozily accommodate a smaller group as well. The house sleeps 10 in beds, with an optional air bed if needed. The maximum occupancy is 10 people. Bedrooms include:

-Master suite: King bed, his and hers closets, and attached master bath

-Spare bedroom: King bed and double closets

-Large bunk room: Custom built-in bunk beds--two twin extra-long beds over two full extra-long beds, able to sleep children or adults

This cute, cozy waterfront vacation home features a private dock, sand beach and grass areas by water’s edge. Spread out on 200 feet of Lake Frontage and relax. The crystal clear water of Lake Pend Oreille is great for swimming and boating. The fire pit, picnic table and beach chairs make it the perfect place to hang out all day and evening.

There’s also a large outdoor deck on front of cabin facing the water – enjoy the sunrises over the water and mountains with the southeastern exposure of this home.

The cozy cabin is our second home and it is very comfortable for one or two families. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs that can sleep up to 7-8. There is also a queen-sized futon downstairs that can sleep two.

The big living room and dining area (table expands to seat 10) are roomy and comfortable. The laundry room is good sized and right inside back door. The kitchen is small, but has all appliances (fridge, dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, compactor, coffee maker, and lots of dishes, pots and pans).

The cabin is a great place to relax, unwind, and have fun. It works great for one or two families on vacation at the lake!

Leave the city, come breathe some fresh air and relax with the majestic cedar trees!

I have a nicely decorated, clean one bedroom cabin (550 sq ft) in 12 acres of forest far away from the hustle of modern life. Come to hike, walk, swim, read, write or just watch the stunning pine trees.

A queen bed in a small bedroom, sleeper sofa and small loft with a queen mattress are available for two people to choose their sleeping spot. There are ample cotton linens, necessary kitchen amenities, dishes, wine and martini glasses, etc. and a washer and dryer.

Unplug from it all and relax in the peace of your own forest. I live up the hill from the cabin; however, the privacy of the forest hides my home. No neighbors can be seen from the cabin and my Whispering Pines Forest is pristine.

Watch the deer and turkeys walk by, play a game of horseshoes and use the old fashioned outhouse. Don't worry the cabin has plumbing, hot water, a toilet and shower/tub! (It is a small bathroom with a low ceiling.)

There is no T.V phone or internet and the cell reception is spotty. You can walk up the short, dirt road to get cell reception and then log into my internet, if desired.

Unwind with a good book, build a puzzle and take a contemplative walk in the forest or nearby trail, about 5 minutes walk from the cabin.

There is easy, ample parking in front of the cabin with lots of room for your toys (boat, ATVs’, etc.). Bring your saw and fall a dying tree, if you like! Afterwards light a campfire in front of the cabin to relax.

More action oriented, head three miles down to Lake Pend Oreille at Talache Landing for a swim or to launch your canoe or kayak. Mirror Lake, a small lake, is also about two miles away for swimming and rentals of small boats or old paddle boats for $30-45 a day. Bottle Bay is a nice swimming beach with a little restaurant too.

Head into Sandpoint for restaurants, a beach walk and swimming, parasailing, small plane sightseeing, lake cruise, horseback riding, boat and bike rentals and nearby hiking and surrounding area.

*The neighborhood is mainly doublewide homes with working class folk. The surplus of dogs can occasionally bark. A neighbor runs a generator for his power (grr!!), so you can hear a low hum when outside the cabin if you are attempting to sit in silence. If you are talking and moving around you will not hear the generator.

There is a convenience store and gas station (Conoco) and Dollar Store (with some groceries) 20 minutes or so from the cabin at Sagle Road and the 95. The grocery stores are in Sandpoint, another 10 minutes north. There is a Super One in Athol 45 minutes south of Sagle right off the 95 on your way up, if you’re coming from the south.

We have a book full of our favorite places to go to and eat at, and when you are here, you'll agree with many of our guests that a week just isn't enough.

This waterfront home is located in Garfield Bay on Lake Pend Oreille. Located in a protected bay, you will enjoy the lake views from the home and the tranquility of the forest. With a large, deep water dock, you can bring your own boat and use the boat lift (July 15-September 15). Lake Pend Oreille is known for trophy trout fishing. You'll be cooking fish on our grill that has a hardline gas option or charcoal. In the evening, relax at the gas fire pit on the deck or jump in the brand new hot tub.
The home comfortably sleeps 6 people. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom features 2 twin beds over 2 full sized beds. We are a 20 minute drive north to downtown Sandpoint and a 35 minute drive to Schweitzer Ski Resort. Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach are 35 minutes south of us. Coeur d'Alene is approximately 50 minutes south of our home.

- "Our trip started out rough due to running worn tread highway tires on the mountain road leading to the Cozy Little Cabin. We were about 6 miles from our destination when we ended up with a flat. I was able to crawl our way to the cabin slow and steady on our donut spare. Once we got to the cabin and settled in, we instantly fell in love with the place and the stunning views across Pend Oreille. Our Host Jessica reached out that morning to see how we were doing and I explained the situation. She went out of her way to help us as we were almost certain we would not make it out of the mountains on our spare. Jessica took me to Les Schwab via boat/vehicle before they closed on Saturday to ensure I had a good tire to help get my family out safely. She was very accommodating and went above and beyond to assure my family had the best time during our visit. My wife and kids enjoyed swimming off the dock and the kids were able to catch several fish which was a bonus. We will definitely be back in the near future. This setting has some of the best sunsets I have seen and we were able to watch the stars at night without fighting mosquitoes. Such a great vacation making memories that will last a lifetime. Perched on the hillside overlooking Lake Pend Oreille is a unique vacation destination like no other. Towering two levels high for a bird’s eye view of the Green Monarchs and Scotchman’s Peak, this two bedroom, two bathroom home can comfortably accommodate five guests. With so much to do in the surrounding area from mountain biking, hiking, boating to skiing, you can relax at the end of the day taking in the views from the large, second level deck or relax in the six person hot tub.
This newly constructed home is a mix of modern and nostalgic National Parks with clean, contemporary furnishings and cozy Pendleton blankets. Every detail has been well thought out from a well-stocked kitchen to board games & puzzles for every age. This home was designed after the traditional Fire Towers to take advantage of the views from every room.
The first level has a large entryway and washer/dryer tucked away in a closet. Both bedrooms are on the first level with a shared bathroom. Both bedrooms face the lake with a picturesque view from each room. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a Smart TV. The second bedroom has a queen over queen bunk bed. The shared bathroom has a large, tiled shower with seating area.
Continue upstairs to the second level and enjoy the incredible scenery which can be enjoyed for all seasons. This lodge is the perfect escape for those seeking space for rest and recreation, with an 18-hole disc golf course right on the grounds. The 22 acres, also known as the Eureka Center, are home to festivals and retreats in the summer, so it's possible that other people may be elsewhere on the expansive property. You'll be an easy drive from small-town Sagle (11 miles) and bustling Sandpoint (16 miles), where you can find every convenience.

As you step inside, shed your gear in the mudroom cubbies and toss any wet, snowy, or dusty clothes in the adjacent laundry room. Greeting you just beyond is a charmingly rustic living space full of natural wood beams, windows framing the woods, and all sorts of little nooks and hideaways inviting you in. Get started on dinner in the beautiful kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a farm sink, and set the window-lined table for dinner.

Just down the hall are the cozy spaces for unwinding, including a den with a piano and a woodstove and a living room where you can play board games and stream movies by the fireplace. When it's time to turn in, choose a book from the shelves in the reading loft and retire to one of three bedrooms. One is on the ground floor and two more - including a lovely primary suite with its own fireplace, balcony, walk-in closet, and bathroom - are upstairs.

Things to Know

This is a rural cabin in the woods. Wildlife may include deer, elk, bald and golden eagles. This is the country and we may seasonally have an occasional yellow jacket, mosquito, stink bug (their ugly but harmless), or a mouse. Please keep the doors closed behind you so they don't intrude.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Waterfront home with stunning views of Lake Pend Oreille, Schweitzer & the Monarch Mountain Range. Home has it's own private dock perfect for swimming & fishing.

Located 5-10 minute walking distance from Beyond Hope Camping Resort & Sam Owens Campground. Hope Marina & Boat launch is just a quick 5 minute drive, roughly 25 minute drive to Sandpoint & 15 minutes to Idaho Golf Club.

Both bedrooms on upper level, both with private bathrooms. Main bedroom is furnished with a California King bed, 4 piece bathroom, lots of closet space & private covered balcony with sweeping views. 2nd bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed and private 3 piece bath. We also have a queen pull out sofa in the living room downstairs that could accommodate additional sleepers or there is one twin floor kiddie cot in the main room closet.

This home is more a mature home, in that the stairs in the house don't have a railing but has hand rails, no grass yard space, dock is down 2 flight of fully railed stairs and no sand to stick your toes in. Just tons of jumping, swimming, boating, jet skiing right into the beautiful clean water of the Lake Pend Oreille.

There is no train noise or train traffic.

EARLY CHECK-INS are not guaranteed. It is ultimately up to the host to approve any check-ins before 4 pm.

PACKAGES - We do not allow guests to order mail/packages to this location for privacy reasons. If you attempt to have something delivered to this address, it will be rejected and we are not held responsible for its whereabouts.

SMOKING/DRUG - This is a non-smoking and drug free property. This includes marijuana, vaping/e-cigs, THC usage, no drug paraphernalia or illegal drug use allowed anywhere on property. Breaking this rule will result in a $200 fine and potentially the additional cost that is incurred by losing the next guest’s reservation because we cannot eliminate the odor or sanitize in time for the next booking.

PARTIES - We enforce a strict no-parties/noise violation policy. If you throw a party, trash the space, damage the unit, disrespect the property, or have a gathering with extra guests will result in reservation being cut short with no refund and all applicable cleaning fees paid by tenant.

SECURITY CAMERAS - tampering with, covering, moving aim, or messing with outdoor security cameras is strictly prohibited and will result in reservation being cut short with no refund offered. Location of cameras are 1) off back of garage and covers road and parking, 2) South Western corner of home covering the large parking driveway and front door of house and back entrance to garage and 3) off upper balcony covering a long range view of steps down to dock, dock and water.

VEHICLES - No more 4 vehicles including trailers day or night at the home .

CLEANING - Our cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (e.g. someone who cleans up after themselves, cleans dishes, towels in shower, leaves the place as they found it, etc.). This is NOT a hotel. If the housekeeping crew discovers an unreasonable mess post-checkout, we will charge an additional fee of $100. Treat the space as if it was your own home. If you break it, fix it. If you open it, close it. If you turn it on, turn it off. If you unlock it, lock it. If you make a mess, clean it. If you move it, put it back.

REMOTES/DAMAGE: If missing there is a fee of $50 to replace. If anything is damaged during your stay immediately notify us so we can quickly repair and/or replace.

BOATS: We do not allow boat lift access nor can anything to be moored overnight or tied up to the dock. This is for our dock safety and your boat. If you ignore this rule you will be liability for all damage to dock. There are multiple boat launches and the marina is nearby. There is plenty of room in the drive way for a boat trailer. Max vehicles is 4, which includes the boat trailer.

GUESTS- No unregistered guests or guests that exceed your stated occupancy or our occupancy limit (5 people) day or night. Quiet hours from 10PM to 8AM.

Fines will be imposed for the below cleanings:

1. $200 per day of entire booked reservation for smoking/drug use of any kind.
2. $350 For any bodily fluid, biohazard waste, blood & removal on any surface or linens (ie: vomit, blood, urine, etc.)

- "Beautiful property, nice dock, lots of steps down to the dock however. We were not allowed to tie our boat to the dock overnight, very inconvenient. No bbq grill also. This 5-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, nearly 4,000 square foot home, has it all. Enjoy the world class waterfront and views of Garfield Bay and the Green Monarch Mountains on 43-mile long Lake Pend Oreille. Two (2) large decks. The lake is the 5th deepest in the country with a maximum depth of 1,150 feet.

A large private dock (40’x70’x7’) is on the property with power at the shore. A boat launch, public beach and park just a short 10-minute walk away. The property has perhaps one of the best views of local fireworks displays over the 4th of July weekend with fireworks launched about 700 feet away. A large outdoor firepit overlooks the bay.

The property is located 15 minutes east of U.S. Hwy 95 via Sagle Road. A small local grocery/convenience store (Odies) and a restaurant (Captn's Table) are both located directly across the bay from the home. Boat and vehicle gas are located at the Conoco station at the Hwy 95/Sagle Road intersection. A Dollar General store is also located at this intersection. The city of Sandpoint is located 10 minutes north of the intersection across the Lake Pend Oreille "Long Bridge".

The home has a welcoming wood panel entry, a modern kitchen with granite counter tops, electric stove top, electric oven, large refrigerator, trash compactor, counter top oven and microwave oven. Wood throughout the home evokes a cabin/resort feel. Each bedroom has a Mini-split unit for heat and air conditioning with other mini-split units spread throughout the house. A new 26kW generator automatically activates and provides power to the house in the event of a power outage. 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boats and 1 men's bicycle on property.

Enjoy darts, a game of snooker/pool, or chess/checkers/backgammon in the game room in the lower level. Many of your favorite TV channels are available on FUBO along with many DVD, Blue Ray and VHS movies in the private collection next to the game room.

A local grocery/convenience store (Odies) and a restaurant (Captn’s Table) are a 15-minute walk away on the east side of the bay. The communities of Sandpoint, Hope and Bayview are approximately a 30-60 minute boat ride from the property. Priest River and Oldtown, Idaho can be accessed via the Pend Oreille River or U.S. Highway 2. Spokane International Airport is located 1.5 hours to the southwest along I-90. Spokane is 1 hour west via I-90.

In Sandpoint enjoy a movie theater and an assortment of restaurants. The bedroom community of Ponderay, situated north of Sandpoint, has several restaurants as well. A Walmart Supercenter is also located in Ponderay. Bonners Ferry, located 30 minutes north of Sandpoint, has a casino and restaurant located along the Kootenai River. The Coeur d'Alene Resort located along its namesake lake is a beautiful hotel situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene with 2 fine restaurants, boat rentals and float plane rentals.

There are a number of churches in Sandpoint as well as the Little Church in the Wildwoods 2.5 miles east of Garfield Bay on Sagle Road.

The City of Coeur d’Alene is approximately 45 minutes south of the Hwy 95/Sagle Rd intersection. Spokane, Washington and the Spokane International Airport are located approximately 60 and 90 minutes, respectively, to the Southwest.

Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park are located 4 ½ hours and 7 ½ hours to the north and east, respectively. The Canadian border is located 78 miles to the north. Banff and Jasper National Parks in Alberta, Canada, are located 6 and 7 hours to the northwest, respectively. The Montana border is an easy and scenic drive one hour to the east on Hwy 200 or I-90 out of Coeur d’Alene.

Fishing on Lake Pend Oreille is quite popular with large Rainbow and Lake trout caught, along with other fish species including large and small mouth bass, walleye, crappie, pumpkinseed, sunfish, pike and perch. Idaho is providing a $15 monetary reward (bounty) for the heads of a lake trout to eliminate as many of these fishes in an attempt to improve the Rainbow trout fishery. Walleye heads submitted during a month provides an angler with a chance to win one of ten $100 prizes each month. Imagine that – Idaho pays you to fish!

There are a number of bike trails within easy driving distance. There are several in the Sandpoint area. The Hiawatha Trail is a15 mile-long bike trail that begins at the Idaho/Montana border that includes 10 tunnels, and 7 high trestles, on an easy downhill 1.6% gradient. The trail is mostly down hill and is rated as one of the most scenic bicycle trails in the entire country. A bus at the bottom of the trail will bring you back to the parking lot. You can rent bikes and gear at Lookout Pass on the Idaho/Montana border. If you want to rent a bike it is suggested you make a reservation first. The first tunnel is 1.6 miles long so definitely bring a good head lamp. The Coeur d'Alene bike trail, ranked as one of the top 10 bike trails in the U.S is a 76-mile long trail stretching from Plummer to Mullan.

Silverwood Theme Park, http://www.silverwoodthemepark.com/, is located 32 miles south of the Hwy 95/Sagle Road intersection on Hwy 95. The amusement park contains over 70 attractions including roller coasters and a water park.

NOTICE: 2 cats presntly live in the home but will be removed prior to June 14 for boarding. The carpets will be shampooed and the furniture wiped down prior to guest arrival for those that might have cat allergies.
