Things to Know
A wood stove and two mini-split units provide heating and cooling. Wood is not provided.
You will need to park on the first level of the driveway and no higher. You will then walk a short distance up to the cabin. Boat trailers should not be brought to the cabin as there is no place to turn around or park. Boat trailers can be parked at the Garfield Bay Public Park.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. There is a private dock to keep your boat on premises, as well as a boat launch near by. For those who don’t have a boat, there are boat & jet skiing rentals nearby, as well. If adventure is your middle name, then there are tons of activities you will enjoy! Hiking trails, water-skiing, wake-boarding and mountain biking are at the heart of this beautiful town in the summer/fall months. In the winter/spring months you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing up on Schweitzer Mountain Resort. All year around, you may enjoy the deer and elk as they gracefully walk just feet from our windows. The property has beautiful mountain and lake views but please note the lake is low and unusable during the winter months from November through May.

Sandpoint is 8 minutes by boat. Stay to the right when entering the inlet and stay to your left when leaving the inlet, to avoid underwater obstacles. Trim your motor. Depending on the size of your boat, you may need to use rope guides to turn around when leaving the dock.

Located on the sunny side of Bottle Bay, enjoy a private dock with views of Schweitzer mountain. Take in amazing Lake Pend Oreille with floor-to-ceiling windows. Bask in the sun on the large deck or from the private dock. The property is conveniently located across from Bottle Bay Marina, which offers dining, boat/kayak rentals, gas, and a boat launch. The beautiful, lively town of Sandpoint is close by (25 minutes by car or 15 by boat). Also, check out the many restaurants on Lake Pend Oreille's shores!

This house has unique features throughout. The custom kitchen table, bathroom countertops, and fireplace mantle were hand-crafted out of trees from the property that were removed for the build. Knotty alder and pine finishes will make you feel right at home in north Idaho! Enjoy a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with well-stocked wood storage, an open timber staircase leading to a large loft, and a room of built-in bunk beds that will wow you!

The house offers plenty of space for a large group or will cozily accommodate a smaller group as well. The house sleeps 10 in beds, with an optional air bed if needed. The maximum occupancy is 10 people. Bedrooms include:

This is a great place to practice social distancing – it is very private!

This cute, cozy waterfront vacation home features a private dock, sand beach and grass areas by water’s edge. Spread out on 200 feet of Lake Frontage and relax. The crystal clear water of Lake Pend Oreille is great for swimming and boating. The fire pit, picnic table and beach chairs make it the perfect place to hang out all day and evening.

There’s also a large outdoor deck on front of cabin facing the water – enjoy the sunrises over the water and mountains with the southeastern exposure of this home.

The cozy cabin is our second home and it is very comfortable for one or two families. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs that can sleep up to 7-8. There is also a queen-sized futon downstairs that can sleep two.

The big living room and dining area (table expands to seat 10) are roomy and comfortable. The laundry room is good sized and right inside back door. The kitchen is small, but has all appliances (fridge, dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, compactor, coffee maker, and lots of dishes, pots and pans).

The cabin is a great place to relax, unwind, and have fun. It works great for one or two families on vacation at the lake!

Leave the city, come breathe some fresh air and relax with the majestic cedar trees!

I have a nicely decorated, clean one bedroom cabin (550 sq ft) in 12 acres of forest far away from the hustle of modern life. Come to hike, walk, swim, read, write or just watch the stunning pine trees.

A queen bed in a small bedroom, sleeper sofa and small loft with a queen mattress are available for two people to choose their sleeping spot. There are ample cotton linens, necessary kitchen amenities, dishes, wine and martini glasses, etc. and a washer and dryer.

Unplug from it all and relax in the peace of your own forest. I live up the hill from the cabin; however, the privacy of the forest hides my home. No neighbors can be seen from the cabin and my Whispering Pines Forest is pristine.

Watch the deer and turkeys walk by, play a game of horseshoes and use the old fashioned outhouse. Don't worry the cabin has plumbing, hot water, a toilet and shower/tub! (It is a small bathroom with a low ceiling.)

There is no T.V phone or internet and the cell reception is spotty. You can walk up the short, dirt road to get cell reception and then log into my internet, if desired.

Unwind with a good book, build a puzzle and take a contemplative walk in the forest or nearby trail, about 5 minutes walk from the cabin.

There is easy, ample parking in front of the cabin with lots of room for your toys (boat, ATVs’, etc.). Bring your saw and fall a dying tree, if you like! Afterwards light a campfire in front of the cabin to relax.

More action oriented, head three miles down to Lake Pend Oreille at Talache Landing for a swim or to launch your canoe or kayak. Mirror Lake, a small lake, is also about two miles away for swimming and rentals of small boats or old paddle boats for $30-45 a day. Bottle Bay is a nice swimming beach with a little restaurant too.

Head into Sandpoint for restaurants, a beach walk and swimming, parasailing, small plane sightseeing, lake cruise, horseback riding, boat and bike rentals and nearby hiking and surrounding area.

*The neighborhood is mainly doublewide homes with working class folk. The surplus of dogs can occasionally bark. A neighbor runs a generator for his power (grr!!), so you can hear a low hum when outside the cabin if you are attempting to sit in silence. If you are talking and moving around you will not hear the generator.

There is a convenience store and gas station (Conoco) and Dollar Store (with some groceries) 20 minutes or so from the cabin at Sagle Road and the 95. The grocery stores are in Sandpoint, another 10 minutes north. There is a Super One in Athol 45 minutes south of Sagle right off the 95 on your way up, if you’re coming from the south.

Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks. The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.

Enjoy the beauty of northern Idaho right out your door. During the summer you will have a private waterfront area on Comeback Bay with easy access to Lake Pend Orielle. From mid-September through the end of May, the water level is lowered limiting water access as the bay becomes a creek during this time.

In the winter, Enjoy the snow sports at North Idaho’s destination ski resort Schweitzer Mountain! The Schweitzer Mountain Village/Ski Resort is a short 30 minute drive from the loft. There are ample areas for snow shoeing and cross-country skiing all around. Bring your snow mobiles and other snow toys and take advantage of the endless opportunities. Our location is a faster and easier drive to town for the fantastic restaurants and nightlife without braving the steep and winding road up and down Schweitzer Mountain.

We have a book full of our favorite places to go to and eat at, and when you are here, you'll agree with many of our guests that a week just isn't enough.

Cozy, rustic, charming and unique tiny cabin in the North Idaho forest on 20 acres next to a creek. Heaven for the Nature lover. 1 Mile to a beautiful Lake. Great swimming, fishing and paddle boarding. 30 minutes to Sandpoint, 25 minutes to Priest River, an hour to Priest Lake, 55 minutes to CDL and 1.5 hours to Spokane international airport. *outdoor hot water shower is disabled mid Oct.-May 1. Are you looking for a place to escape to and tune into Nature? Do you need to get away from your computer and wi-fi ? This is a recharging station for the soul! Deep in the forest and near a non-motorized lake. You will wake up to the birds, the breeze and the sound of the creek. It's a nice well maintained gravel road, almost at the end, so there isn't hardly any traffic.
The wood stove heats up the cabin quickly for chilly mornings or stormy days. There is a Propane grill and a propane 2 burner camp stove (we provide the propane).

The outdoor kitchen area is covered and has a counter top to prepare your food. I have two new Andirondacks outdoor chairs and table along with a free standing fire pit. We have a hammock hanging in the shade of the cedars. A great place to rest or read a book.
There are pans, dishes, silver ware, olive oil, salt and pepper, dish soap and a sink with running water. A Cooler that is built into a work top counter is also provided.
We have tapped into the spring water system! It's wonderful to have running water inside the cabin and also in the outdoor kitchen sink.

We now have power at the cabin. It is minimal, but helpful. there are two beautiful antique chandeliers inside and two outside lights. There are outdoor plugins and also, four outlets inside. There is an oil heater to heat up the upstairs and there is an electric blanket on the bed that keeps you warm in the winter if needed.

It's great to bring flip flops for the outdoor shower, and a flashlight or headlamp. We also provide the toilet paper and paper towels, and towels for your shower (not for the lake). There is Earth friendly shampoo and soap here also.

Guests have access around the tiny cabin. Beyond the cabin and the garden, PLEASE ask for permission by contacting Lori first.Thank you!
Other things to note. Verizon is spotty here. AT&T and other networks like consumer cellar work great! We do have a young 50 pound dog here. She is off leash and friendly and loves other dogs. She will be the first to greet you! Her name is Nevada.

There is normally an instant hot water outdoor shower here. From mid Oct- May 1st it's not in operation. We have to winterize it so it doesn't freeze up. There is still a covered outdoor composting toilet year round.

We provide wood for your indoor fire. If you're going to have an outdoor fire please provide your own wood for it. There is lots of kindling in the forest around the cabin that would be great for your use.
Please check with me first to make sure there isn't a fire ban.

There is a Propane grill and a propane 2 burner camp stove (we provide the propane). The outdoor kitchen area is covered and has a table top to prepare your food. A headlamp is helpful as well as flip flops for the outdoor shower. We do have a few bugs different times of the day, a healthy bug repellant is helpful. ( not needed until summer of course :))
There is only one parking space, if you need to bring two cars please let me know ahead of time.
There is only room for two people at the cabin.

If you’re bringing a pet please ask before booking. All dogs must stay on a leash and be very minimal barking dogs. There is an additional $35 nonrefundable pet fee. If you have two dogs the fee is $55.

Sound does travel here so please no music and no loud voices. We consider this to be a quiet sanctuary and retreat.

We got lucky enough to stay during part of a storm and it was so rad. The rain and thunder through the mountains is such a cool sound. Then once the storm based the birds sang to us. When it was night we still had a nice gentle sound of the stream nearby. The cabin is a real log cabin and is awesome. Showering in the back with the trees as your view is also awesome. The water gets hot right away and stays hot so we never got cold. There’s a really nice cooking area in the back that’s completely stocked with anything you need to cook with. We didn’t get a chance to use any of it this trip. We did use the fire pit which was nice in the evening. I definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to just get away and stay in nature. Everything was very enjoyable and the drive up is also just as beautiful. Thanks for creating and sharing this beautiful place. Hope to stay here again in the future."

The space
The Bunkhouse is very private and sits about 100 ft. from our cabin. Surrounded by 20 acres. It has everything you need for cooking and for getting an amazing hot water outdoor shower.
All you need are your clothes and your food. There is a nice size refrigerator, copper sink with drinkable spring water flowing from it.
The queen size bed is made of memory foam and is brand new. I have olive oil, some spices, salt and pepper, tea and coffee and a french press for your use.
I provide your towels in the kitchen and for the shower.
Guest access
Guests will have access to just the immediate area around the Birds Nest. The area around the big cabin is private along with the rest of the property. More information will be provided when guests check in. There is several places to go hiking, swimming, fishing or paddle boarding nearby.
Other things to note
If you are wanting to bring a dog, please message me first. I do have a young dog here that is off leash. She is friendly and loves people and their dogs.

There is a nonrefundable pet fee of $35. Dogs that are welcome must be non-barkers and need to be on a leash. They must be with you at all times and not left behind unattended. Thank you for picking up after them.

Please also ask before bringing other people onto the property if they are not part of your original reservation.

Guests share the driveway, yard, dock, and playground with our family. Parking is simple—you’ll see a white and black “Guest Parking” sign on the left side of the driveway. To access the suite, follow the path under the porch, just past the garage door. We’ve designed the entry to be straightforward so your arrival is as stress-free as possible.

The Neighborhood

Our lakefront neighborhood is one of Sagle’s hidden gems. Quiet streets make it ideal for walking or biking, and the views are stunning—lake vistas in the back, Gold Mountain in the front. Sandpoint is just a 5-minute drive away, or for the more adventurous, a 15–20 minute bike ride over the scenic Long Bridge. Schweitzer Mountain is only 30 minutes by car, offering world-class skiing in winter and hiking in summer. Families love visiting Silverwood Theme Park, which is about 35 minutes away.

Seasonal Notes

Lake Pend Oreille is truly magical, but its water levels do drop in October and return to full pool in late May. This means the inlet behind our property can be quite shallow during fall and winter. Don’t worry—there’s still plenty to enjoy, from snow-covered mountain adventures to cozy nights in the suite.

Interaction with Guests

Because the suite is part of our home, you may see us or our two kids enjoying the yard. Our children love meeting new people, and the shared spaces like the beach, playground, and dock make it easy to connect. That said, we fully respect your privacy and allow you to decide the level of interaction.

Please note: trains do run through the Sandpoint area, a historic part of life here since the late 1800s, so you may occasionally hear one pass by.

Located on Lake Pend Oreille, this is a tiny cabin with double bed, electric heater, coffee maker. However, if you are looking for a meticulous, hotel-like experience, this may not be the venue for you. It is upscale camping surrounded by nature: bugs, critters, scat, neighborhood dogs. The detached bathroom has a composting toilet, and outdoor, solar shower. With BBQ, picnic table and deck, we are primarily for hardy couples, who appreciate a beautiful but rustic setting, with water access.

- There is a composting toilet located in the bathroom building
- There is a campfire pit with wood available for purchase.

Lake front Lot with DOCK Three tiny houses all to yourself. The Ruby is a custom designed tiny house that included the shared kitchen for coffee brewing, grub cooking, bbq, with loft bed and indoor/outdoor showers. The Cookie Truck Van Body for a covered sleeping with large floor area and wrap around deck. The lower shed has a private room, flush toilet and shower. All three are supplied with fresh sheets, bath and beach towels, closet area and a great view of the Monarch Mountains across the bay. Outdoor cooking on the deck is available with the BBQ and long outdoor tables. Two kayaks are at use down the hill on the private dock. It's cool and private even for large groups. Have fun and be careful on the cliff! Small children not advised. This large renovation is refreshing and ready to use after 30 years in the making.

Look at all you could do with the combo air fryer fryer / toaster oven, standalone 2-burner cooktop, microwave, Keurig, lots of pots and pans and all the cooking supplies you need. We are located off US Route 95 in Sagle, ID. Nestled in the trees you will not realize how close you are to Sandpoint, however you may hear the distant call of the trains as they pass by in the distance. Schweitzer ski resort is 21 miles north and Silverwood Theme Park is 26 miles south. Free parking on sight for vehicles and your summer and winter toys.

Other things to note
Idaho offers a ton of wildlife and incredible scenery regardless of time of year. And, as locals ourselves, we can point you to some amazing areas to explore and restaurants to feast at!!!

This RV is on our property. We are very close to Sandpoint which means you will hear highway noise and trains off in the distance.

You won't find a TV here (don't worry...there is WiFi) but when you aren't relaxing by the fireplace, there are great places to explore around the area...Schweitzer Mountain Resort is just a 30-minute drive and you'll find lots of great restaurants downtown...many of them with live music. Our studio is designed for two, but a third guest can be accommodated upon request.

You might see our 10-year-old daughter playing outside or hear an occasional train, but the property is in a quiet, low-traffic neighborhood. This is a pet-free, smoke-free rental...unless it happens to be a really good cigar on the patio!

The space
Bitty Blue's property is made up of 2 adorable spaces and boasts a large deck and breezeway that connects the main Tiny Home to the cozy Book & sleeping Nook.
**The property also includes partial hook ups (water/electricity) in case additional friends/family want to join you with a small camper or van for an added nightly rate. Please send private message to host for details and arrangements.

Where you'll sleep:
Our Tiny home features a queen size bed in the loft space. If you aren't able or don't care to use the ladder, don't worry our Book Nook has a very comfortable Queen size sleeper as well!
The main house has 2 TV's. 1 downstairs and 1 in the loft.

Where you'll eat/meal prep/sit:
The kitchen area has a drop leaf table w. 2 matching stools, ample counter space to prepare your meals, a convection microwave & 2 burner cooktop plus spacious apartment size fridge.

You'll find everything you should need including a Keurig coffee maker, kettle, pots, pans, ample dishes, silverware, wine/drinking glasses, serving bowls, utensils, cutting boards and salad spinner.
The kitchen also includes basic spices, cooking oil, nonstick spray, coffee and tea. (please send us a note if there is something we can add for your enjoyment next time!)

The seating area has a comfy loveseat with storage for extra blankets as well as a small storage ottoman. Throw blankets are available to keep you warm.

Outside:
The large deck is where it's at for enjoying the beauty of the Bay!
Loads of seating w. stackable bar stools for the deck rail bar, comfy bar height chairs and table a as well as a loveseat glider.

Equipped with privacy screen, awnings as well as an umbrella for the table so you can enjoy the space during those hotter, sunny summer days! A charcoal BBQ can be found near the outdoor storage bins. (Don't forget to pick up your charcoal and other essentials for your stay at the Dollarama on your way up to the Bay or at the local Odies store right in the Bay).

Perched up a little higher on the property you'll want to grab your favorite beverage and enjoy our cozy firepit and chairs. The perfect spot for wiener roasting, s'more making and star gazing!

We share the driveway and backyard with our guests. Please park on the left side of the driveway, where you’ll see a white and black “Guest Parking” sign. To enter the guest suite, follow the path under the porch, passing the garage man door.

Our neighborhood is perfect for walking or biking and is conveniently located close to town. We have water access right in the backyard for you to enjoy—feel free to bring your boat, paddleboards, kayaks, or fishing gear. Please note: the lake’s water level is lowered starting in October, which can make the inlet quite shallow until it returns to full pool in late May or June.

Located in a quiet neighborhood in Garfield Bay, the cottage is a perfect getaway! Newly renovated, it offers an open-concept living/dining/kitchen space with windows overlooking the bay. A new 1,150 sq. ft. deck, 6-7 person hot tub, fire table & plenty of patio furniture offers outdoor living under the trees & with a view!

Just a few mins walk to the beach, park, boat launch, Cap'ns Table & Odie's Grocery. 25 mins to Sandpoint, 45 mins to Silverwood Theme Park, 45 mins to Schweitzer Mtn.

The space
PLEASE NOTE! You won't be sharing this house with other guests! You will just have access to the main level only. If you need more space, please see our other listing which includes a spacious studio bedroom with 3/4 bath on the 2nd floor with a separate exterior access

The Cottage lower level sleeps 6-7 comfortably with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath on the main level (no A/C). A spacious deck overlooking the bay is outfitted with comfy patio furniture, outdoor dining table and chairs, and a gas BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped, and our pantry contains canned/dry goods, condiments, and spices for our guest's convenience. Home entertainment includes TV equipped with Chromecast for content streaming, family-friendly DVDs, books, puzzles, and games. Hosts live in the neighborhood and are readily available if needs arise.

We have a no-pet policy that has allowed guests with pet allergies to stay without concern. Because of this, we can not accommodate special requests for pet stays, even outdoor-only requests.

SPRING/SUMMER/AUTUMN - 2 car parking spots available in the driveway, as well as 1-2 parking spots along the road and 2-4 parking spots next to the garage. Access to the house from the road-level includes 1 flight of steps. Driveway parking is on the same level as the house.

WINTER - During months with snow, you will need a 4 wheel drive or AWD vehicle, and/or snow tires. The cottage is on a private road maintained by the residents, and is curvy and inclined. Driveway parking will not be available during winter stays. But parking will still be available along the road (1-2 spots) and next to the garage (2-4 spots). Access to the house from all winter parking includes 1 flight of steps.

Other things to note
The cottage is nestled in a quiet community of full-time residents. It is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. We ask that our guests maintain a respectful volume of music/voices within the cottage and outside on its deck & grounds and on the private road. Parties are strictly prohibited, and guests may be asked to leave (before the end of their reservation) without refund.

Our road is a private road. Please drive 5 mph to and from the cottage.

Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed with views of Garfield Bay and direct access to the deck through a patio slider. The second bathroom is a full bath located just off the kitchen. The deck has a bbq grill for grilling your favorite summer meals and an outdoor table with an umbrella and seating for 6. A gas fire pit on the deck is available for guest use.

There are many hiking trails in the area. The lake offers great fishing, kayaking, boating and swimming.

Schweitzer Ski Resort has many activities including skiing/snowboarding and tubing during the winter. They have trails for hiking and mountain biking during the summer and also hosts small festivals and chairlift rides.

Schweitzer is 45 minutes (27 miles) from the cabin.

Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach (32 miles) are just south along Hwy 95, 45 minutes from the cabin

NEW LISTING: Enjoy your time in our spacious lakefront home in beautiful Garfield Bay on Lake Pend Oreille. The residence is 2260 sq. ft. & all of the rooms are large and on one floor, so your family can spread out.
There is great fishing, awesome mountain views & just 20 minutes to Sandpoint. Also short drives to Silverwood Theme Park & Schweitzer Ski Resort - with paved roads all the way from our front door to the ski lifts. Property includes a private boat slip just steps from the front door.

The space
The residence is very spacious (2260 sq ft) and all on one level. All rooms are large and allow families to spread out. In addition to a large living room, there is a large family room with a queen sized futon and a 60” TV.

Guest access
The residence is the entire second floor of a building, but has ground level access in the back as the driveway is sloped. There is also access from the front deck overlooking the lake. Both doors use keypad locks.

Other things to note
The residence is above the husband’s business which is a cute little general store that also sells groceries, ice cream, and delicious baked goods. Our guests and their children love the store and our location on the lake.

Waterfront 1-Bed, private studio apartment with designated private entrance overlooking the Pend Oreille River. You’ll find all you need in this newly built farmhouse style apartment. Access to kayak’s, paddle boards & dock. 10 miles to Priest River. 16 miles to Sandpoint. Enjoy shopping, dining, hiking & fishing. Schweitzer Resort is an easy 30 min drive with activities both Winter & Summer. Music festivals, Farmer’s Markets, art galleries, breweries & wineries! Maybe even spot a moose!

The space
Picturesque private loft style apartment (above main homes garage) on the Pend Oreille River with quick & easy access to downtown Sandpoint, Schweitzer Ski Resort & Priest River. Just 45 min to Coeur d’Alene. One hour 15 min to Spokane International Airport. Enjoy the beautiful Northwest! *PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A ONE BED SPACE! ONE CAL-KING BED! No children please as this is an adult space not geared for children. We do not have safety measures set into place for children. And we do not have accommodations for sleeping for children.

Guest access
Guests have access to backyard with docks and chairs for relaxing. Kayaks and paddle boards are available for use in late spring through summer months. Fire pit for guests and designated walkway to kayaks, paddle boards and a designated guest fire pit.

Please note that our physical address does not show up on most GPS maps since we are a newer build. We will provide an address very near to us and direct you. Simple easy directions!
In addition, no guests under the age of 25 years of age unless hosts give prior approval. No pets please. This beautiful space is a 1-Cal King Bed Space!!

Our guests rave about the view from the front deck and the visits from the woodland animals. Indoors you will have plenty of space to sit and play games, read a book or just relax. The well appointed open kitchen makes meal prep a breeze. And don't forget about the soaking tubs after a long day of hiking or skiing. We are only 30 minutes from Schweitzer ski resort and Silverwood Theme Park and 10 minutes from Sandpoint. So much so close....skiing, hunting, kayaking, hiking and great dining!

The space
This is a slice of heaven in the woods yet only 10 minutes to downtown Sandpoint or the quiet and picturesque Garfield Bay! …AND only 30 minutes from Silverwood Theme Park and the year-round fun of Schweitzer Ski Resort.

This home has just recently been remodeled with many beautiful touches. Living space is open and roomy. Kitchen has all brand new appliances with everything you will need to create warm and delightful meals.

Master bedroom has a queen bed with luxury bedding and a private bath. The second bedroom also has a queen bed with luxury bedding. Second bath is off the hall across from a full size washer and dryer. A Queen futon is located in the entry way for the 3rd sleeping area.

Note, our general policy is no pets, however, exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.

Guest access
As you head up the long curving driveway into the forest, you will find plenty of free parking in our large parking lot that accommodates all our guests. There is also space for your summer and winter toys.

We are located off the US Route 95 in Sagle, ID. Nestled in the trees you will not realize that you're only 10 minutes from the resort town of Sandpoint, 30 minutes from the Schweitzer Mountain Resort which offers amazing summer outdoor activities as well their legendary winter activities! And, just 30 minutes south is the Silverwood theme and water park.

Other things to note
Idaho offers lots of wildlife and amazing scenery to explore regardless of the time of year. And, as locals ourselves we can point you to some special places to explore and some of our favorite restaurants!

Come prepared for the weather in the season your are visiting. Snow and rain are prevalent in the winter months. Cozy slippers are encouraged.

Our property also has a studio apartment available for rental. Additionally, our personal residence is also on site.

A wood stove and two mini-split units provide heating and cooling. Wood is not provided.
You will need to park on the first level of the driveway and no higher. You will then walk a short distance up to the cabin. Boat trailers should not be brought to the cabin as there is no place to turn around or park. Boat trailers can be parked at the Garfield Bay Public Park.

The Wild Rose

Located on nearly two acres on the Pend Oreille River, this sprawling property features a quiet setting paired with serene mountain views. During the summer, use the private dock, launch the two provided kayaks, and explore the tranquil water.

Start your mornings with coffee on the screened deck, furnished with several beautifully styled seating areas, including a comfy hammock. A picnic table is ideal for alfresco dining, and the firepit is the perfect place to gather when the stars come out.

The sun-soaked interior boasts vaulted ceilings, an electric fireplace, and comfortable furnishings. Create crowd-pleasing recipes in the well-equipped kitchen, detailed with a full suite of appliances and kitchen bar seating. Welcome to Timber&Tonic, your cozy retreat in Sandpoint, North Idaho—where early 20th-century Americana meets mid-century charm. With stunning views of both lake and mountain, this hideaway features two serene bedrooms and a lofted King bed accessed by a shipman’s ladder for a touch of adventure. Sip a sundowner on the deck by the fire as the sky melts into sunset hues, or soak in the hot tub under the stars. Just two minutes from Springy Point Beach and boat launch, and a short hop to town.

The space
This private get away is ten minutes to downtown Sandpoint and 30 minutes to Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Fully furnished with bespoke furniture and mid century details our mountain chalet is the perfect space for relaxing, bird watching, soaking in the hot tub.

If you have kids let us know we can provide high chair, play pens, and toys and your very own popcorn machine.

If you’d like to paddle board, we have two paddle boards with paddles and life jackets for borrow.

Please note, we have art pieces and books in the home that are related to astrology, symbols, occult history. If you feel uncomfortable with these topics please let us know and we can remove these items prior to your stay.

Located in a quiet neighborhood in Garfield Bay, the cottage is a perfect getaway! Newly renovated, it offers an open-concept living/dining/kitchen space with windows overlooking the bay. A new 1,150 sq. ft. deck, 6-7 person hot tub, fire table & plenty of patio furniture offers outdoor living under the trees & with a view!

Just a few mins walk to the beach, park, boat launch, Cap'ns Table & Odie's Grocery. 25 mins to Sandpoint, 45 mins to Silverwood Theme Park, 45 mins to Schweitzer Mtn.

The space
The Cottage sleeps 8-10 comfortably with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath on the main floor (no A/C) and a spacious studio bedroom with 3/4 bath on the 2nd floor (with A/C) with a separate exterior access. A spacious deck overlooking the bay is outfitted with comfy patio furniture, outdoor dining table and chairs, and a gas BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped, and our pantry contains canned/dry goods, condiments, and spices for our guest's convenience. Home entertainment includes TV equipped with google Chromecast for content streaming, family-friendly DVDs, books, puzzles, and games. Hosts live in the neighborhood and are readily available if needs arise.

We have a no-pet policy that has allowed guests with pet allergies to stay without concern. Because of this, we can not accommodate special requests for pet stays, even outdoor-only requests.

Guest access
SPRING/SUMMER/AUTUMN - 2 car parking spots available in the driveway, as well as 1-2 parking spots along the road and 2-4 parking spots next to the garage. Access to the house from the road-level includes 1 flight of steps. Driveway parking is on the same level as the house.

WINTER - During months with snow, you will need a 4 wheel drive or AWD vehicle, and/or snow tires. The cottage is on a private road maintained by the residents, and is curvy and inclined. Driveway parking will not be available during winter stays. But parking will still be available along the road (1-2 spots) and next to the garage (2-4 spots). Access to the house from all winter parking includes 1 flight of steps.

The cottage is nestled in a quiet community of full-time residents. It is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. We ask that our guests maintain a respectful volume of music/voices within the cottage and outside on its deck & grounds and on the private road. Parties are strictly prohibited, and guests may be asked to leave (before the end of their reservation) without refund.

Our road is a private road. Please drive 5 mph to and from the cottage.

To ensure a pet free environment for future guests, we cannot grant requests for exceptions to our pet policy.
