Very pleasant and accommodating, he offered us the guest room in the lodge. The lodge was comfortable and clean, in the style you would expect in a Montana B&B. Breakfast was outstanding, the conversation was good, and grounds were in top shape. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Wild Game Inn to anyone, and hope someday to return. "

After your outdoor adventure, you can create culinary masterpiece in the large, open kitchen which is fully stocked with high quality pots, pans, and appliances. Please note that wildfires are common in the western states each year July - September. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations outside of our policy window due to smoke. Check in was easy and we were greeted by a clean, fresh cabin when we entered. It has been well updated and has everything you need, including an air conditioner for the bedroom. The outside has been updated since the listing photos were taken - there is now a meadow of wildflowers surrounding the property, as well as a stone patio with two Adirondack chairs right out of the door. McCall is our recreational paradise. We love our basecamp home for downhill and Nordic skiing in the winter and mountain biking, hiking, swimming and paddling when the snow is gone. Rotary Park, North Beach and Ponderosa Park are nearby for beach access. Mountain bikers will love riding from the house up the road across the street into the Bear Basin trail system and Payette Rim trail. The deck is perfect for outdoor BBQ, it gets morning sun and afternoon shade. If you want to eat out, there are lots of choices, the guest info book lists our favorites.
I love being able to get up on any day, in any season and have a new adventure in the mountains, whether by foot, skis, wheels or boat. I know I will eat well with the fun variety of restaurants/bake shops and food carts. There is nothing quite like a Stacy Cakes cinnamon roll after a bit of exercise.

The space
The 1965 Santa Fe is our honeymoon getaway. (No AC) All rentals have heat. It is pet free (no pets of any kind) camper with handmade curtains, throw pillows, and cushion covers made by my talented wife! There is a comfy, and lovers must be super close, double; or climb up into the full bunk bed, but please don't sleep alone. Hurry, book it NOW! Fyi, we added a minifrig, and to keep the camping theme provide an outdoor cooler and propane barbecue. Upon request, a dozen eggs for $4, and now we have fresh cold goat milk. Ask about a sample. We give you 5 local discount cards to eat and save money by supporting Horseshoe Bend businesses.

The Sante Fe is situated to the left of our most popular Ole RV, "The Golden Falcon". It has a private gravel driveway and parking spot with the privacy of a flowering lilac on the right and a privacy fence on the left. It is a short 15-second walk to the outhouse, and the solar showers (summer only) are 50 ft. away.

The outhouse is shared by all guests. We provide Lysol spray, hand sanitizer, femine hygiene items, and, of course, toilet paper. The light is always on with country music on the radio. We added a small child (1-3 year old) toilet insert seat.

Other things to note
Reminder, no running water. to the trailer. You do need to walk to use the outhouse. We upgraded 2 of our 1965 lights with low profile 2 setting ones. We added a multi plug cellphone charging one at the foot of the upper bed. We do offer 4 outdoor showers and an indoor shower in the Ole RV Park laundry room. The shower and outhouse are private, but, they are shared. This is a no smoking inside rental. You can smoke outside. There is no TV.

Our cozy, self-contained 750 sf private guest home retreat is attached to our main home & sits in the middle of 20 lush acres bordering US Forest Service & is located a few minutes from rivers, fishing, lakes & hiking & just 30 minutes from Lost Trail Ski area. Fantastic views of mountains, pine trees, wildlife & our horses. It features a queen size bed w/a super comfy mattress, couch, fully equipped kitchen, bathtub/shower, laundry, deck, WIFI, HD TV and access to the hot tub on the back deck.

The space
It's a large space with excellent views of mountains, pastures, trees and domestic and wild critters from all four sides. We supply herbs, spices, napkins, paper towels, oil, tea, organic coffee, organic honey and sugar, soap, shampoo and conditioner and of course towels and linens. When the chickens are cooperating, we supply bacon and organic eggs for your first breakfast!

100% your own space with it's own front and back entries; there is one wall attached to our main home and our bar room overhead so you may hear footsteps. Guests from our other detached unit may walk by on the back deck to get to the shared hot tub which is on the south facing deck closer to your unit. Fully equipped kitchen, laundry and full bathroom with a tub/shower. We are only 5 minutes from Bitterroot River fishing access, a half hour from lakes in two different directions, 35 minutes north of Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski area, and direct access to forest service land with endless miles of hiking trails and roads. We are 1.5 hours South of the airport in Missoula and 1.5 hours North of Salmon, ID. The views from the hot tub are magnificent!
