- "This is our Second time staying here. Convenient to all of downtown Stanley. Plenty of room inside. Great deck in back with a Weber grill and an awesome view of the Sawtooth mountains. Michelle is great to work with and did a great job making sure you have everything you need to make staying here enjoyable. Even things like a spice rack with several spices, plenty of towels, beach towels and many little things that make it nice. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of seating in the house. We will definitely be back staying here again"

This log cabin is at the base of the Sawtooths, just 4 miles from Stanley. We have 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen, screened and covered porch, a covered balcony, and lots of extras. The cabin is in a quiet location (2 miles off the highway) just 7 miles from Stanley Lake and 8 miles from Redfish Lake. Our 3-acre property is bordered by a stream and forest service property. The owners' residence and shop are also on the property. The Iron Creek Campground (which is the trailhead for Alpine and Sawtooth Lakes) is less than 5-minute drive from the cabin. The owners live in another house on the property and will be glad to discuss local attractions and hiking trails.

This cabin made our stay incredible. We slept with the sound of the river in our ears every night. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. It was perfect." - "We met up with two other couples (so 6 people total) in Stanley for the week. This cabin was perfect for us. There is one bedroom downstairs and then upstairs there is a loft with two beds. We couldn't find the second bed until we opened some closet doors (big closet) and there it was. We had a good laugh about it. Although that bed sits on the floor, my husband and I found it comfortable. We are 66 and 69 so getting out of the bed was a little more challenging than the normal beds but it wasn't bad. Just know you might put the younger people on that bed. The cabin was well stocked with towels, Toilet paper, soap, etc. The kitchen had great pans and was well stocked with those random items like spices or oil, etc. I was worried we might have road noise but in all honesty, it didn't bother us at all. The only times we heard vehicles were when the truckers used their jake brakes or a loud motorcycle went by. The wonderful sound of the flowing river may have drowned out the vehicle noise as it wasn't bothersome. Everyone in our group took walks up into Stanley and the field around Stanley. A couple of issues which I've seen mentioned that really weren't that big of a deal is know the water smells highly of Sulphur-which makes sense with all the hot springs around. While it smelled bad, my husband tried it and said it didn't taste bad but bring your own bottled water. The other thing is the pictures really don't do the cabin justice. Would definitely stay there again!"

Check in was easy and we were greeted by a clean, fresh cabin when we entered. It has been well updated and has everything you need, including an air conditioner for the bedroom. The outside has been updated since the listing photos were taken - there is now a meadow of wildflowers surrounding the property, as well as a stone patio with two Adirondack chairs right out of the door. We spent a pretty substantial amount of time in those admiring the view! Will definitely be back!"

One factor to point out, across the property, there was a ton of construction going in the tiny homes so was very noisy early and throughout the mornings."

We just gave this cute mountain home a brand new face lift. It's light filled and lovely with new everything inside. It's especially beautiful and cozy in winter, and of course summer is spectacular.

There is a full kitchen, laundry, and two full bathrooms, one of which is en suite in the master. The master bed is king size.

The bunkroom has two nice, sturdy full-size bunkbeds, so can technically sleep 8, because there are 4 double beds.

The living room has a big couch, TV and fire place.

There is a large grassy yard with picnic table, BBQ, pingpong, fire pit and deck with lounge furniture to enjoy the outdoors.
