The beach is open between Memorial Day and closes mid-September, depending on the weather. Vouchers are not needed or provided during beach closure months.

This is a private studio as part of a boutique 11-unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2020, this is one of our most unique units with a separate bedroom and a living area that features a kitchenette (induction double cooktop available upon request) w/ Keurig machine as well as a work desk. The bedroom has 2 queen beds and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (occupant needs to have subscription service/no cable). All TVs and wifi are connected to Gigabit cable connectivity.

*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.*

## Access

The unit is accessed off of Poplar St. and has direct access from the parking area and has one assigned parking spot, space #5. This unit is completely private with its own locked entry. The doors are all equipped with smart locks. The unique access code will be generated and sent to you by SMS on the morning of your arrival, to the phone number on file.

Interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are off-site hosts; there is no front desk or office, and we provide contactless self-check-in. - "This place was perfect for me and my teen daughter. The location could not be better. We were able to walk to everything we did including the gondola, shopping, restaurants, casinos and a very cool magic show. We even walked to a local hotel to get the shuttle to Zephyr Cove for the snowmobiling tour! Everything was very comfortable and well done. It felt like a home away from home. Only two suggestions would be to invest in two new hair dryers as the two that are there are very small and one was not giving out hot air, only cool. The other suggestion is to not have the heater set to 72 degrees overnight. I kept waking up sweating and had to keep getting up to turn lower manually. Otherwise, this place is perfect for a small family or group of friends. Quiet, convenient and adorable! Highly recommend."

Love it, great location, clean and well stocked..no real complaints however the bathroom floor needs fixing, it's sagging and the drain in the shower is also sagging. Also should number unit parking spots...if one person parks badly there is no room for anyone else especially with a larger vehicle. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and you will be hard-pressed to find a spot that you can`t walk to or hop on a Lime or Uber scooter to get to. We give the walkability a 10/10!

- "It was really nice to have a full kitchen with everything need to prepare a meal." - "I had never stayed in a cabin, or anything similar before, so this was a pleasant surprise. It genuinely feels like a home away from home. The place is in a good state of repair and clean. The only thing that didn't work was a stand-alone electric heater in the bathroom. It doesn't really impact the comfort of the place, but if I owned this unit I'd fix it. There are enough basics such as dishes and towels, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Most hotels have ultra-plush (mushy) beds, but the bed in this place is on the firm side, which my wife and I prefer. The gas oven/stove and dishwasher worked fine. The heater in this unit is a gas-fired convection unit that works well but does make some noise as it heats up and cools down. It didn't bother me at all, but my wife found it a bit annoying at night while trying to sleep. WiFi is available and worked ok, except on the evening of a snow storm that blew through, which may be expected. Cell reception was good enough to keep us connected. In summary I would go out of my way to stay here again in the future. It's clean, has a hot tub and a gas grill right outside the door, lots of trees, but is just a minute away from everything."

This studio suite at Lakeside Gondola Lodge comes with a fully stocked kitchenette and can sleep up to 2 people. The studio suite consists one queen bed and one queen sofa sleeper. Centrally located walking distance to Heavenly Village and Gondola, casinos, lake, restaurants, and other amusements.

- "Great for a weekend getaway and visiting out of town. Easy walk to shop and restaurants. The room was updated, clean and had a keurig! The property managers/hosts greeted us as well as other guest right at check in time. Very friendly and hospitable. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would. come stay here again!" - "My Husband and two teenage sons booked the Lakeside Gondola Studio for 5 nights over New Years. Fist of all ... this is the size of a hotel room not studio apartment. The kitchenette was so tiny it was useless, with no room or soap or sponge to wash a dish. Once we got over the size, we discovered the place wasn't clean. With toothpaste all over the mirror and sink to hairs in the fridge AND in the bed... animal and human hair, we were quite disgusted especially after a 9 hour drive. The saving factor and why 3 stars... The management came right away and changed the sheets and cleaned the toothpaste mess. The floors were still very dirty the entire time, we ended up leaving a day early. We also had to ask for Toilet paper multiple times as we only received one roll at a time. The only nice thing other than proximity to State Line was the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The refund of our $95 cleaning fee and leave a bottle of wine was nice, but after paying an exorbitant amount per night that was the least they could have done. My only hope is they learned to pay better attention to their guests so this doesn't happen to anyone else."

Amazing Location!

Literally 1.5 blocks from Highway 50 and Stateline and only a 6-minute walk to Heavenly Village & Gondola, casinos and restaurants. This is a private studio as part of a boutique 11 unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2020, this unit comes with an en-suite bath with an oversized shower, kitchenette (induction double cooktop available upon request) w/Keurig machine and a king bed as well as a work desk. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (occupant needs to have subscription service/no cable). All TVs and wifi are connected to Gigabit cable connectivity.

*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.*

Beach Access Vouchers

All South Lake Chalet guests will receive a Lakeside Beach voucher for discounted, $5 per person beach access, valued at $30 per person, upon arrival. Beach wristbands purchased will also provide a 50% discount on beach chair and sun umbrella rentals from the Lakeside Beach Association. The beach is open between Memorial Day and closes mid-September, depending on the weather. Vouchers are not needed or provided during beach closure months.

Amazing Location!

Literally 1.5 blocks from Highway 50 and Stateline and only a 6-minute walk to Heavenly Village & Gondola, casinos, and restaurants. This is a private studio as part of a boutique 11-unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2020, this is one of our most unique units with a separate bedroom and a living area that features a kitchenette (induction double cooktop available upon request) w/ Keurig machine as well as a work desk. The bedroom has 2 queen beds and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (occupant needs to have subscription service/no cable). All TVs and wifi are connected to Gigabit cable connectivity.

*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.*

*PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A pet fee will apply; pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please add your pet to the reservation, or disclose your pet to our hospitality team after booking.

Guest access
The unit is accessed off of Poplar St. and has direct access from the parking area and has one assigned parking spot, space #5. This unit is completely private with its own locked entry. The doors are all equipped with smart locks. The unique access code will be generated and sent to you by SMS on the morning of your arrival, to the phone number on file.

Interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are off-site hosts; there is no front desk or office, and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality phone line in case of emergencies (24/7) and our team is available on call, text, or chat during 5 am - 1 am to help assist you during your stay!

Electric car charging (shared amenity)

South Lake Chalet offers 5 EV chargers for our registered guests’ use only. Please scan the QR code posted above chargers to follow payment instructions. Spots for unit 1 have access to one Tesla (white), and one J1772 (black) charger. Unit spots 2,3 and 4 share one white Tesla charger. Spots 7, 8, and 9 share one J1772 black charger. Unit spots 10, 11 and the ADA spot (please park with a valid placard only, to avoid being towed by the City) share one Tesla charger. Please do not leave your vehicle plugged in when not charging to allow other guests to have charging access. All South Lake Chalet guests will receive a Lakeside Beach voucher for discounted, $5 per person beach access, valued at $30 per person, upon arrival. Beach wristbands purchased will also provide a 50% discount on beach chair and sun umbrella rentals from the Lakeside Beach Association. The beach is open between Memorial Day and closes mid-September, depending on the weather. Vouchers are not needed or provided during beach closure months.

Located within a 5-minute walk to the world-renowned Heavenly Village and Gondola, Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen, casinos, and only a 10-minute walk to Lakeside Beach (private, access fee required). This location is ideal for those working remotely (with Gigabit internet connectivity) while enjoying everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer.
