We were spending most of our time out doing things, but this little place was a great place to relax and recharge at the end of the day. We loved the area, Valley Stream is a cute little place on Long Island. We used public transport for everything and it was great to be within walking distance of the Valley Stream LIRR station (about 15-20 minute walk). When you first enter the back yard of the property it was like a little oasis, there was a nice balcony and comfy chairs outside to sit. The neighborhood was very quiet and cute, only heard the sound of airplanes taking off or landing at JFK. The bed was super comfy, there is a nice tv to watch some streaming services. The little AC unit cooled the room down very quickly. The bathroom was nice, the shower has a bench, which is awesome. Overall we loved our stay."

Our studio apartment, also known as a studio flat or efficiency apartment, is a self-contained living space consisting of one single large room that serves as the living, dining, and sleeping area, with a separate, private bathroom adjacent to the kitchen, which is partially separated from the bedroom.
Our studio is 300 square feet. The patio is 175 square feet.

ACCESS TO YOUR STUDIO
*Your first floor studio has no second floor above it, and no basement below it. There are no stairs. From the street where you park, it is a 100-foot walk along a concrete walkway to reach your studio.
*Your space is a completely private studio that is separate from the rest of our home. There is no access to your personal living quarters from the main part of our home. There is only one entrance to your studio through a walkway on the side of the house. The studio, which includes a fully equipped kitchen, large closet and private full bathroom, is in a secluded corner of the property, and the patio in front of the studio is for your personal use only.

SUSTAINABLE ECOFRIENDLY ACCOMODATIONS
Forty solar panels adorn our home's roofs, including some that can be viewed from the front of the property. All of our electrical appliances and outlets fully run from solar energy year-round. Excess kilowatt hours compiled during the summer months are utilized during cooler winter months.

We also encourage recycling and conservation of resources so that energy is not wasted.

Parties are prohibited. Staying overnight guests are not permitted to invite their friends and family to our home.

Laundry service for your personal clothing is NOT available on the premises. There are several local laundromats and dry cleaners in the neighborhood. They are listed in the Guest Guide.

Our tranquil community boasts neighbors from diverse backgrounds, many of whom are professionals from varied fields. Like a league of nations, our neighborhood is demographically and ethnically diverse. Children, adults and senior citizens frequently traverse the streets. Consequently, no matter where you're from, you'll feel like you belong in Valley Stream, and, as such, you'll experience travel as if you're a local, not a tourist.

There is plenty of free, safe parking in front of our home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Walk from your car directly onto the tree-lined path that leads to your private Mediterranean oasis.

- "I had a wonderful stay and experience at Cynthia’s beautifully kept home! It is well kept, clean, and includes all the basic amenities you would need and is just as in the pictures. The yard in the back is the cherry on top. She goes the extra mile and leaves a little welcome bag as well. The neighborhood is really lovely and located next to multiple food markets, grocery, and restaurants. The location is good for being close to Long Island and access to trains to head to the city as well. I would recommend to rent a car to travel about. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again at this cozy place!"

3) If a guest is checking in/out the same day.
