Please be aware that noise is inevitable, however I do have a white noise machine in the bedroom to help drown out any unwanted sounds.

Hi There! This truly is an amazing space! I absolutely love my Scandinavian style home and I am sure you will too! Being an avid traveler and frequent user of AirBnB myself, I have a great sense of what the guest is looking for in a room...besides a great price!

You will have one of two bedrooms, which is the biggest room in the place! Ample space for storage and some rest and relaxation. All brand new amenities to make your stay and comfy as possible! Lots of sunlight with 3 windows in the bedroom and a great skyline view of the 59th Street bridge.

The kitchen is fully stocked with spices and herbs to use at your pleasure, as well of plenty of cooking tools and utensils. An entire cabinet and shelf will be all yours to put all of your goodies for the duration of your stay.

A modern and chic living rooms will feel like the place is all yours as I am rarely home during the day and at work!

The bathroom is nice and spacious too with all essentials provided!

We are on the top floor of the corner apartment, so you never have to worry about any noise from your neighbors!

During your stay
I will greet you upon check in(please let me know with an hour window on when you are planning to arrive!). There is no doorman in the building. You will have plenty of privacy, but the kitchen, living room and bathroom are shared by just me. I want you to have as much privacy as possible, so I will keep interaction to a minimum. But if you have any questions or if you would like any suggestions you can always ask me for advice or help in person or via email/text!!

Other things to note
This truly is a fabulous place to stay! Please note that outside shoes are to please be left in the hallway! The floors and white carpets are always clean so no need to worry about walking around barefoot or in your socks ;).

Also, please note that central air is not provided! There is an A/C located in the bedroom. Please be mindful to only use the AC when in the room and turn off when not in the apartment. There is a fan located in the living room during the summer months! Heat and hot water are year round! (And yes, it can get hot on the top floor during the summer months, so please be mindful if susceptible to any heat issues or are older!)

Wi-Fi is included for you to use on your phones, laptops, iPads, and is also used in conjunction with the Apple TV!

Please note that for your stay a spare coverlet is available for use in your closet. However, the washing of towels and bed sheets then become the renters responsibility, as only one cleaning fee is charged. This fee is then applied upon checkout for a through apartment cleaning as well as wash and fold laundry for the next guests arrival . This is why a discount is also offered for weekly and monthly rentals!

For all future guests, please be mindful that this is the city and its normal to hear traffic and typical city sounds outside, especially during the rush/hour commuting times! I do have a white noise machine to help drown out the sounds and ear plugs in case you are a very light sleeper!
