This furnished apartment is located in Lower Queen Anne, an up and coming neighborhood around the Seattle Center. The area is also referred to as Uptown by locals, especially in recent years. The Space Needle is just a few minutes' walk from Lower Queen Anne, as are the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Seattle Children's Theatre, and the Museum of Pop Culture. The neighborhood is also home to the headquarters of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer as well as a thriving dining scene. You can find everything from fast-casual spots like local favorite Dick's Drive-in -- the Lower Queen Anne is the only Dick's location with seating -- to high-end, white tablecloth restaurants. Lower Queen Anne is connected to downtown by the Seattle Center monorail, and several bus lines serve the neighborhood.

Neighborhood Noise:

Please note that we are located in an urban neighborhood! While we have incredible access to parks, landmarks, restaurants and grocery stores, there is a certain level of noise that should be expected when booking in this area. We may suggest earplugs for our light sleepers!

This is a historic building and our walls are on the thinner side. As such, we ask that guests please be mindful of noise levels. Loud music is not permitted at any time and quiet hours are enforced.

Accessibility:

Please be aware our building is a 3-story walk-up. There are no elevators in the building. We have units available on all three levels, if you have preference of floor please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Parking:

PARKING IS NOT AVAILABLE ON SITE.
In our experience, our location is best enjoyed without a car.

If you do need to drive, we strongly advise that you make a plan before you arrive.

Please remember that we are in a downtown location, situated next to multiple event centers. While this is a wonderful location with amazing access to everything the city has to offer, parking can get very challenging (and sometimes costly!) on event days.

Apartment building is old and so is apartment, but clean and gated safely. Old building has charm, but bathroom is very very small and no storage/counterspace. Kitchen lovely with full amenities. Sofa folds into a bed and manager provided lots of mattress options and great bedding; comfort was not a concern. No need for a vehicle as the transit service is right there. Be ready for noise during middle of nights sometimes as the apartment building is right there. Earplugs helped us, but we were awoken a couple times. Still worth it for the location IMO. Manager was extremely accessible and helpful before and during the stay. Excellent."

- "We stayed here in early August '23 when temps were around 78 - a welcome break from the 112 degree heat index back home. Note: this apartment, like about half of most properties in Seattle, does not have central air. While to us temps were cool enough, especially at night, that we could have been comfortable without AC, the owner had already placed a temporary (and VERY effective) unit just to be sure. This apartment is as pictured: small but well appointed and perfect for our needs. There is 1 bedroom downstairs and a loft bedroom of at least equal size with it's own bathroom and the laundry. Location was perfect - we did not rent a car in Seattle and rather walked everywhere. This apartment is only a block or so from the Needle and was 1 block from the hotel we were picked up at for all of our tours. There are 2 coffee shops (includng a great french bakery) and several other good restaurants within easy walking distance. Owner was extremely responsive to any questions or other contact. No problems. Owner provided ample towels and linens as well as some toiletries which was thoughtful. Access was very easy. Some street noise but not major. Never used the earplugs. We loved the view of the space needle from the rooftop on our last night. There are chairs and picnic tables, and the building across the street shaded the whole rooftop in the afternoons so we could enjoy sunset without roasting. Absolutely would recommend."

The space
Note that the third bed is the pullout King sofa in the living room. A memory foam mattress pad is available in a wardrobe next to the sofa to make this a cozy sleep along with all necessary bedding and pillows. - For those working remotely, one of the bedrooms has an electronic adjustable-height desk (sit-stand desk).

- The small carport space is small; parking a large vehicle can be very challenging. We do provide a map of additional free city street parking in the surrounding area in our check-in guidance.
- Seattle is a hilly and compact :) Home is located on a steep hill and does have 3 flights of stairs within the townhome between the mud room entrance, living room, bedrooms, and rooftop deck.

The 100 years old historic structure with original wood floors and restored systems. The ceilings are insulated to minimize any noise to our guests, but occasional noise travel through, so for light sleepers’ earplugs and white noise machine are available in the loft.

The Loft Unit is brand new! The upper level of the unit consists of a bedroom with queen bed, a kitchen, hard wood floors, and a bathroom. The lower level has a lounging space, hard wood floors, access to the backyard and view of Space Needle. Lower level and upper level connected with spiral staircase.

To access the unit, walk down the steps and input provided key code at the door.

You will have access through a private entrance to the unit. You need to walk seven steps down to access the unit.

Queen Anne Hill is an affluent neighborhood situated a long walk or short monorail trip from downtown. It's also an easy walk from the Space Needle. Nearby are Kerry Park, the Key Arena, the Seattle Science Center, and the Museum of Pop Culture.

If arriving from the airport please take Uber, Lyft, Taxi.
Also you can take light rail from the Airport to Downtown, from downtown Uber or Lift or bus #2, #13 from 3rd Ave and Pike street will take you very close to our location.
Link light rail travels between UW Station and Angle Lake Station, making 14 stops along the way, including downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport. Link trains run every 6, 10 or 15 minutes depending on the time of day. Service is available from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Many guests will arrive before the designated check-in time. The good news is that there is plenty to do. We often suggest that guests visit the Kerry park, walk on Queen Anne avenue and do some small shopping, or visit Seattle Centre. All locations are within walking distance form our home. There are also a few good restaurants for lunch so why not relax and enjoy some of the local food!

Thank you for a great overnight in your condo. We will recommend and be back again!" - "We came to town for several events at the Climate Pledge Arena and chose this apartment for its proximity. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice! It took 5 minutes to walk two short blocks to the arena entrance, and was so convenient to get our son quickly to bed after the events. During the day we walked about a mile to Pike’s Place market. There were some great breakfast cafes on the way and lots of choices for different world cuisines within walking distance for dinner. The building was secure and all of the other tenants we met in passing were friendly. The apartment itself was absolutely immaculate. The linens were high quality and the beds were as comfortable as any 5* hotel. We did not cook during our stay, but it had everything we would have needed to make a fresh meal. Peyton was a wonderful host and responded to my questions timely. The most remarkable point (besides the beds!) was the amazing view! We couldn’t decide whether we enjoyed the city/space needle or the water view better… and felt so lucky to have both! Watching the sun rise through the buildings of the city skyline was really special each morning. We would definitely stay again! "

- "We stayed here for three nights to attend a concert at Climate Pledge and do some shopping. The unit was perfect for four friends. We especially enjoyed the rooftop deck with its view of the Space Needle. There are lots of stairs in the unit which didn’t bother us at all, but it’s good to point out. Overall it was a great stay. Within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants as well as Climate Pledge arena. We used Uber for everything else which was easy."
