Bright modern and spacious apartment with very private entrance in a prime Santa Monica location. Surrounded by tall trees and enhanced by 11 large windows and a nice balcony where you can relax at the end of the day and watch the sunset, the apartment is tastefully decorated with real contemporary art and exotic pieces. The pad is conveniently located within a 2 minute walk to Wholefoods, Starbucks, Chipotle, Yama Sushi and a myriad of local stores, a non denominational church and even a local dive bar...a great way to participate in a local in a los Angeles neighborhood. Less than 5 mins to “Japantown” area on Sawtelle blvd and downtown Santa Monica by car as well (10 min) to Venice beach the pad features easily accessible bicycle paths. Located in a quiet street right in the heart of everything, it is very easy to hop on the Santa Monica freeway (10 fwy) or the San Diego freeway (405 fwy) located close by and be in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, culver city, and Malibu within a 15 min ride.

Built in 2014, this 600 square-foot second-story fully furnished designer studio, with parking and laundry, is nestled among beautiful trees, and is completely private. Just a few miles to Venice Beach, Santa Monica and Culver City. 15 minutes to LAX.
The space
This 2nd story designer studio includes everything you’ll need for however long you stay. A washer/dryer with supplies is inside the studio. It has a skylight and lots of windows with natural light filtered through beautiful trees.
It features a fully-stocked kitchenette with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink, filtered water, countertop toaster, air fryer, oven and induction stovetop. Floor to ceiling marble bathroom, dining area, office area with printer and cocktail bar. Amenities galore! Plus your own private balcony surrounded by trees for smoking or having a nice meal.
It has heat and air conditioning and a beautiful gas fireplace with just a touch of a button!
There is a queen-size bed with a Tempurpedic memory foam mattress. We are happy to provide a 2nd inflatable bed with a memory foam topper upon request for a one time $25.00 fee. This must be requested at the time of booking. The fee is waived if you are paying for a 3 guest booking. A Tesla charger is available for $10.00 per use. You must notify host, as this charger is shared with one other car.

A coded door at the end of the driveway leads into the building, your studio entrance is straight in front as you enter. There is a small private “Entryway Room” before you go upstairs to your studio.
Interaction with guests
We live in a single family home hidden behind and to the side of the studio. There are no common walls between the studio upstairs and the main house. You may never even see us unless we come and go in the driveway at the same time. We can help with all your needs and any questions you may have.
Other things to note: Pets allowed but must be pre approved. A $20.00 per night per pet fee will be charged. Plus a $50.00 pet cleaning fee. Smoking on balcony only

Perfect for those who enjoy being surrounded by nature, and appreciate privacy and quietude. Good for traveling couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The space
Large, quiet suite with high speed wifi, smart TV, original artwork, and mini kitchenette of small refrigerator (& freezer), microwave, deluxe K-cup coffee system, dishes and flatware. Seating for two.
Travertine Spa bath with double sinks, large shower with wide overhead and handheld spray, and a whirlpool for two.
The bathroom here was designed by me and renovated with ideas from my travels in Europe and Asia where the bath is revered. Not only as a place to cleanse the body, but also to rejuvenate and recharge the spirit and soul, especially after a long day exploring the city. Step out of the bath into a plush terrycloth robe and slippers.
Grab the oversized beach towels and head down the road to our lovely wide- sanded beaches and the roaring Pacific Ocean.
Extra closet and storage space.
Your host in on premise with a big dog, Roji and two young curious cats, Paris and London. You probably won't meet Roji but London and Paris may visit you when you sit outside.

My home was completely remodeled in July 2015, brand new hardwood floors throughout home, danish designer teak furnished living room with mini bar and 43' plasma TV, DVD library, Netflix, two queen bedrooms (or 1 queen/2 twins), huge closets, stainless steel kitchen, Bosch Dishwasher, Danish teak dining room set, massive outdoor sun/lounging decks, BBQ grill, additional outdoor dining set for 6 and rattan outdoor lounge furniture! Ride your bike to the famed Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, Malibu or Marina Del Rey! Shopper's delight - Abbot Kinney boutiques as well as Third Street Promenade can be reached by bike! Steps away from Penmar Golf Course and Tennis courts. We have 2 racquets and balls for you to use. Enjoy the sights by riding the 8.5 mile bike path from Marina Del Rey to the Pacific Palisades! Easy access to all major expressways if you wish to venture out.

Gorgeous updated upper 2 bedroom 2 bath unit in small 6 unit building. Both bedrooms have Queen beds and great closet space. Great light, hardwood floors, new kitchen. Living room has a pull out sofa bed. The bedrooms each have a portable AC unit and one wall heater for the unit. Street parking or paid onsite parking. Coin operated laundry on site.

Dishes, knives, cooking stuff, pans, cutting boards, everything!We can easily contact with host and they reply very fastBut include utilities or something too expensive." - "Overall, we were not happy at all with property and this is why: apartment photos were misleading, repairs were highly in need, issues were not either not addressed or promptly resolved, requirement to email our driver license photos were unnerving because our identities could be stolen and felt unsafe due to our home addresses and birthdates displayed, the apartment was filthy & needed to be sprayed for roaches which required us to be away for 5 hrs BUT THE ROACHES REMAINED, there were no cleaning supplies but we were required to clean the apartment, we were not supplied with the initial supply of toilet paper and paper towels, there were no dish towels & dish cloths, we were mot supplied with bedding sheets and towels especially for a 31-day stay, the cleaning fee is an egregious amount but yet we had to clean before we left, the towel rack was broken in the primary room so no place to hang towels, the coined laundry room was extremely filthy, we asked about parking & host never responded but yet was so accusatory of parking violations, host didn’t communicate in a professional manner but yet she made sure she informed us of any financial consequences if we did not follow her terms & conditions, and all the cleaning tools weren’t adequate.At this point, this will be our first and LAST Vrbo rental. The one positive is the beds were comfortable.Since we had to clean the apartment so we could live in it for a month comfortably, we’re requesting the cleaning fee be refunded."

Our backyard Airstream is located in a garden oasis on half of a gigantic 9000 foot lot in Mar Vista, convenient to the 405 and 10 freeways as well as the beaches and sites of Venice and Santa Monica. We are fifteen minutes to LAX airport ($12 lyft), Beverly Hills, and the best surfing and hiking on the west side. Our neighborhood is a large King Palm-lined oval with easy parking and tons of gourmet coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. If you want the proximity to the beaches without the noise, crowds, and traffic, this is a great solution.

Why stay in a hotel or motel when you can have your own Airstream adventure for less? Parked in the backyard of a private home, this private 27 foot Airstream comes with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The Airstream is located on our pie shaped lot toward the back - our lot goes street to street - the Airstream guests use the back gate to enter. The 1974 Airstream has been completely re designed in an eco chic style with cork flooring, wrap around lounge, small kitchenette, organic queen mattress, private W/C and outdoor hot shower. There is a flat screen TV with roku, high speed wi-fi, a work space, small refrigerator, kettle, coffee press and sink.
The neighborhood Mar Vista is great, centrally located and a 15 minute drive from LAX. Close to the nightlife in Mar Vista, Culver City, Venice, Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey. A 15 minute bike ride to Venice Beach and the Venice Canals.
Don’t want to rent a car? No problem. The house is located:
Half a block away from METRO bikes docking station. Ride anywhere! Bikes are allowed on the Expo line train, on the front of all city busses and you can leave these Metro bikes at your destination!
•Half a block from the Venice bus line, the “33” and 3 blocks from the “Big Blue Bus” to Santa Monica.
Ride the Big Blue Bus North on Centinela to the Expo line for train access to DTLA and Santa Monica beach and Santa Monica Pier.

Charming Spanish style two bedroom house in Mar Vista. The house is light airy and tastefully furnished with an eclectic shabby chic aesthetic. The living room, dining room and full kitchen are all one large open space leading out onto a deck and garden. It has a lovely indoor outdoor feeling . There is a full kitchen and one bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The owner is an artist and there are many wonderful touches in every part of the house both indoors and out. Four large custom French doors lead out to large deck with trees and private garden where you can hear the birds singing all day long. The quiet neighborhood has easy access to all parts of LA. This is a perfect house and location for a southern California Romantic getaway. You will be five minutes from the beach by car (10 minutes by bike) and 30 minutes from downtown. We are walking distance to a wonderful health food store and many restaurants. The famous chic part of Venice called Abbot Kinney is five minutes away. There you will find trendy shops and well known restaurants. We hope you will come and join us!!!

Imagine this, after spending an amazing day seeing the sights of LA and basking in the golden sun on the beaches of Venice, you retire to a beautiful craftsman home, finished with cedar, redwood and Douglas fir throughout, encompassing the tranquility of the northern California coast. Walk or scooter to any one of many nearby restaurants and tapas bars in the neighborhood, or numerous coffee shops, or grocery and health food stores if a home cooked meal suits the palate. As the sun sets, you relax in tranquil backyard or the outdoor bar with awning along the kitchen windows which open up to the outside**. You light a fire in the outdoor fire pit and invite over friends and family to share drinks, music, ping pong, and memorable times.

This bedroom measures 11'2" wide by 10'3" deep. The closet is 4' long x 2' deep and it is in the room, not recessed in the wall. The bed is queen size, sheets are 680 thread count cotton, the mattress is semi-firm, and very comfortable.
There is a small desk and chair. No room for yoga, but the back deck has clean yoga mats and lots of room.
The bathroom is shared with short-term occupants (2 max) of adjacent bedroom. Guests have access to whole house, including laundry. Access to backyard may be limited, due to construction. Access to deck may be only partial, as it will be used for storage until completion of construction.
During your stay
The home is quite conducive to having your own space, whether it's for rest, cooking, entertainment, or work. When I'm in the kitchen or living room, conversations may happen, though I spend most of my time in the office when I'm at home. Many guests like to take advantage of the gazebo lounge outside. It's relatively private and quiet. However, in February the gazebo might be relocated and used for storage.

BEDROOM: This is a fully furnished and private bedroom in a co-ed residence. The furniture setup follows the typical dormitory standards: a twin-size bed with comfortable bedding, a student desk, a student chair, and a wardrobe cabinet as shown in the listing photos.
BATHROOM: This bedroom currently shares the bathroom with MALE student housemates. Therefore, it's probably easier and more comfortable for both the guest and the current housemates if the Airbnb guest is also a male student.
HOUSEMATES: Your housemates are students who need to stay in West Los Angeles for a few months for their study, internship, or research. We expect to clean up after ourselves. My cleaning team does a deep cleaning of all common areas 2 times/month, but we will not come into your private bedroom. It is your responsibility to clean your private bedroom.
DISCOUNT: There is a discount for > 3-month stays after your first 30-night booking AND if we are a good match.
UTILITIES: I always try to keep the cost low for my student guests. Please be mindful of your utility usage. Utilities (water, electricity, trash, and sewage) are included in the booking up to a maximum of $100/person/month. Any over usage of the utilities that results in utility bills of more than $100/person/month will be averaged out and billed to each guest accordingly.

THE COMMON SPACES: Shared areas are the living room, dining area, kitchen, and laundry area as shown on the listing's photos. You are welcome to use these common areas, but please clean up after your use so we can keep the residence clean and tidy.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD: The house is in a peaceful residential neighborhood called Westdale in West Los Angeles zip code 90064.
PARKING: There are plenty of free street parking spaces right in front of the residence. There is no covered parking at the residence.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: The Big Blue Bus #8 stop is a 3 min walk from our front door. You can take this bus to many nearby attractions or connect to the rail and other Metro buses. Please check the Big Blue Bus website for the specific routes and time schedules.
GROCERY STORES and RESTAURANTS: Whole Foods supermarket is a 3 min walk from our front door. Ralphs supermarket is a 20-min walk from the residence. There are also many restaurants within 20-30 min walk: gourmet burger, K-bbq, taco stand, sushi, Starbucks, pizza, etc.
Many housemates/guests take the bus, rent the scooters, or ride the bikes to get around. Traffic in Los Angeles is crazy so please ensure you consider traffic time when planning your driving commute. During your stay
Due to my work schedule, I won't be available face-to-face much during your stay. However, I'm very good at responding to your text messages or phone calls should you have any questions or if there is a maintenance issue. You will meet my elderly parents quite often during your stay. They are retirees and come to the house at least 3 times/week to help me keep it in good condition for your enjoyment. They will offer you their home-grown fruits, food treats, drinks, etc if they have any extra :) Enjoy!

To keep the expenses down and ensure the safety of all residents, we have a few house rules in place:
1. Due to allergies and cleaning costs, absolutely no pets or animals, no smoking, no vaping, no e-cigarettes. The cleaning team charges more if they have to clean up after animals, smoking smells, cigarette smells, or vaping.
2. Quiet hours are 10PM to 8AM.
3. Each load of laundry typically takes about 45 min to wash and 45 min to dry, so please plan accordingly to finish your laundry by 10PM.
4. Please bring your own supplies: shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, towels, etc for your own use.
5. Do not use other housemates' personal supplies.
6. Please wash your dirty dishes, pans, pots, etc immediately after your use.
7. No extra guests. The unit cannot exceed the maximum occupancy due to zoning laws; otherwise, you will be evicted. In addition, the bed is a twin size and only fits 1 person. Please understand that we do not want any students to come home to a stranger, even if it is just a temporary home for a few months.
8. Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys will incur a replacement fee of $50 per key. Locksmith in Los Angeles is very expensive!
9. Please take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for the damages that exceed normal wear and tear.
10. No illegal substances are allowed on the premises.
11. We require a signed rental agreement and identity documents that must be returned within 24 hours of booking to confirm the reservation. Failure to return these required documents will result in the booking being canceled.

PARKING: There are plenty of free street parking spaces right in front of the residence. There is no covered parking at the residence.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: The Big Blue Bus #8 stop is a 3 min walk from our front door. You can take this bus to many nearby attractions or connect to the rail and other Metro buses. Please check the Big Blue Bus website for the specific routes and time schedules.
GROCERY STORES and RESTAURANTS: Whole Foods supermarket is a 3 min walk from our front door. Ralphs supermarket is a 20-min walk from the residence. There are also many restaurants within 20-30 min walk: gourmet burger, K-bbq, taco stand, sushi, Starbucks, pizza, etc.
Many housemates/guests take the bus, rent the scooters, or ride the bikes to get around. Traffic in Los Angeles is crazy so please ensure you consider traffic time when planning your driving commute. Due to my work schedule, I won't be available face-to-face much during your stay. However, I'm very good at responding to your text messages or phone calls should you have any questions or if there is a maintenance issue. You will meet my elderly parents quite often during your stay. They are retirees and come to the house at least 3 times/week to help me keep it in good condition for your enjoyment. They will offer you their home-grown fruits, food treats, drinks, etc if they have any extra :) Enjoy!

To keep the expenses down and ensure the safety of all residents, we have a few house rules in place:
1. Due to allergies and cleaning costs, absolutely no pets or animals, no smoking, no vaping, no e-cigarettes. The cleaning team charges more if they have to clean up after animals, smoking smells, cigarette smells, or vaping.
2. Quiet hours are 10PM to 8AM.
3. Each load of laundry typically takes about 45 min to wash and 45 min to dry, so please plan accordingly to finish your laundry by 10PM.
4. Please bring your own supplies: shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, towels, etc for your own use.
5. Do not use other housemates' personal supplies.
6. Please wash your dirty dishes, pans, pots, etc immediately after your use.
7. No extra guests. The unit cannot exceed the maximum occupancy due to zoning laws; otherwise, you will be evicted. In addition, the bed is a twin size and only fits 1 person. Please understand that we do not want any students to come home to a stranger, even if it is just a temporary home for a few months.
8. Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys will incur a replacement fee of $50 per key. Locksmith in Los Angeles is very expensive!
9. Please take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for the damages that exceed normal wear and tear.
10. No illegal substances are allowed on the premises.
11. We require a signed rental agreement and identity documents that must be returned within 24 hours of booking to confirm the reservation. Failure to return these required documents will result in the booking being canceled.
