There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom has a King bed with a 65” Smart TV. All other bedrooms have queen beds and also have smart TV's mounted on the wall - the front bedroom has a twin trundle, and a rollaway twin bed is stored in the extra-large master closet. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower with seating available if needed.

Step outside onto the private patio with barbeque grill, fire table and fenced in backyard. This area gives a great view of beautiful sunsets. Just outside the gate is the path that will take you the short distance around the lake to the community pool/playground. This paved pathway runs through the entire housing addition and is great for biking, jogging or an evening stroll.
We do have a 2 car garage. We do not provide a remote.

We allow 2 well behaved pets (dogs and cats only) - must be hypoallergenic (no shedding) and weigh less than 20 lbs each. Pet fee is $100. Please clean up after your pet. Nestled on a quiet street near a major artery into the city, this home is a great place to stay for those who want peace and quiet but be close to Indianapolis. Within 5 miles are multiple grocery stores, restaurants and other local businesses and in less than 30 minutes you can be to downtown Indianapolis or to many of the surrounding suburbs. The home features a bedroom, full bath, kitchen, living area and private outdoor area which is perfect for traveling professionals or couples.

The space
The home is a cute and cozy home that is ideal for 2 guests but has a pull out couch to fit 4 if needed for a shorter duration .

The kitchen features a refrigerator and freezer, compact range, microwave, coffee maker and all typical silverware and utensils.

The kitchen is adjoined to the living room which has a smart TV and sectional with chase. The couch converts to a full bed that can sleep 2.

The bedroom has a queen bed, dresser and desk for work. The bedroom is connected to the bathroom which has a standing shower, toilet and sink. The stacked washer and dryer set is in the bedroom closet.

The patio has two areas; one the wooden deck there is seating to relax and unwind. A solo stove fire pit can be used directly on the deck (although we would recommend using it in the grass during dry periods.)

There is a table and chairs for dining outside. A propane grill is provided for convenient and fast outdoor cooking.

The entire home and yard is available to guests.

Other things to note
The home is typically stocked with 2 weeks of consumables (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, etc) for 2 guests. If you are planning on a long term stay please reach out so we can discuss higher inventory or feel free to bring additional supplies. I will try to stock toiletries (shampoo, body wash, etc) but please plan on bringing your own just in case.

Please keep outside noise down between 10p and 8a. The neighborhood does have families nearby.

Important Information About Your Stay at the Farmhouse

Welcome to our historic farmhouse! We’re excited to host you and want to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Please review the details below so you know what to expect:

About the Home

Built in the 1800s, the farmhouse has two sets of stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms. The king-size bedroom is on the main floor for easier access.

Due to the age and layout of the home, it’s not suitable for children under 10 without supervision, or for guests who have difficulty with stairs.

There is one full bathroom on the lower level, with a small step down from the kitchen. The bathroom features a new vanity, tall toilet, spacious walk-in shower, and updated fixtures.

The heating and cooling are provided by a remote-controlled mini-split system. Please note it can only be in one mode at a time (heat or cool), and each room has its own remote for individual comfort.

Two upstairs bedrooms have sloped ceilings, so taller guests should use extra care.

Single story home, open concept, w/ split bedroom floor plan. This home is equipped with everything you need, including complimentary Wi-Fi, a coffee bar with starter coffees and fixings, a snack basket, essential toiletries, linens, and washer/dryer!

The kitchen comes with coffeemaker (drip and Keurig), dishwasher, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, filtered water faucet, and bar seating. The dining area is close by. Enjoy the water views while seated here and/or catch a glimpse of a beautiful sunset during dinner.

The living room has reclining couches to prop your feet up and relax or watch the 65” flat screen smart TV. There’s an electric fireplace for those chillier evenings as well as black out curtains to set the ambiance for the TV watching experience.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom has a King bed with a 65” Smart TV. All other bedrooms have queen beds and also have smart TV's mounted on the wall. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower with seating available if needed.

Step outside onto the private patio with barbeque grill, fire table and fenced in backyard. This area gives a great view of beautiful sunsets. Just outside the gate is the path that will take you the short distance around the lake to the community pool/playground. This paved pathway runs through the entire housing addition and is great for biking, jogging or an evening stroll.
We do have a 2 car garage. We do not provide a remote.

We allow 2 well behaved pets (dogs only) - must be hypoallergenic (no shedding) and weigh less than 30 lbs each. Pet fee is $100/pet. Please clean up after your pet. Patrons may enjoy visiting the park year round, especially in winter since Fort Harrison features one of the biggest sledding hills in the area. Spring is the season to walk with the woodland wildflowers in full bloom across the park. Summer is the perfect time for a canoe trip down Fall Creek, the major water feature that runs through the north side of Fort Harrison. Autumn brings warm, sunny days and breathtaking fall colors to this, the last forested corner left in Marion County.

At Fort Harrison, landscape and history blend together at this unique setting on the northeast side of Indianapolis. The 1,700-acre park features walking and jogging trails, picnic sites, fishing access to Fall Creek, and two national historic districts. The kitchen includes things like an air fryer, crock pot, fondue set, blender, toaster and many spices and condiments that I’d love to share with you. The basement has a fabulous pool table that easily converts to ping pong and some go to workout items to make us all feel like we deserved that extra cookie! You’ll be close to a myriad of restaurants from casual to fancy, you’re about 1 mile from beautiful Geist lake, 7 miles from Ruoff music center, 7 miles from downtown Fishers, 15 miles from Grand park sports complex and 20 miles from down town indianapolis. My goal is to make you feel like a personal guest of mine and with that in mind, bedrooms are set up to be comfortable but not overcrowded. This is an awesome place to stay but we do want you to be aware that the Farmhouse is located at our Auction facility where we are actively working during the week and moving equipment with customers coming in and out often.

*We also have a queen air mattress for guests to use when needed. Linens can be located in the laundry room closet.
