★ The barnhouse is perfect for large group gatherings. We can comfortably accommodate 20+ guests. There are 9 queen sized beds, 1 twin sized bed, and 2 double sized futons, plus a 4th floor loft with an open sleeping area and sectional. 3 FULL bathrooms and 1 half bath on the main floor.

★ The basement of the barn is equipped with an indoor beach room filled with sand, beach swings, a tiki bar, and an infrared sauna.

★ The outdoor patio in the backyard is LOADED with amenities that will keep your group entertained for days. Walking out from the basement, you will find a turf area with a custom designed Tiki Bar, 8 Person Hot Tub, Outdoor Shower, Patio Swings, Firepit, Full Sized Sand Volleyball Court, and a Frisbee Golf/Frolf course with chains and discs.

★ There is also a deck above the back patio with patio furniture, a bartender serving bar in the corner, and views over the backyard space.

★ Coming in the Fall of 2024 (Oct/Nov) there will be a state of the art SkyTrak Golf Simulator and Arcade Lounge in the heated garage.

★ Heading inside, you will find a custom slide taking you down from the upper level right down to the kitchen! You can also take the stairs if you wish. You'll find a beautiful barn loft interior with over 5,000 square feet to spread out. Most material and furniture has been sourced and created from local Amish reclaimed barnwood.

★ Across from the living area you will find a pool table, arcade machine, board games, karaoke, and guitars for more fun inside.

★ The Barn Silo on the upper level has been converted to a "Silo Bunkhouse" for additional sleeping accommodations in the Silo!

- "Best expirence of our lives" - "Such an amazing property for large groups! So many cool details everywhere. We were sad to leave!" - "Just stayed here on our annual friends and family get away. The barn is really unique and fun, and there was something here for everyone to do including indoor and outdoors. The slide was a hit with the kids, as well as the numerous games inside and out kept the adults entertained as well. About a 25 min drive to the Dells which was not bad, and the location is very quiet. Only issue we had was Wi-Fi for the first few days until we found the router and reset it, after that it was all good. Cell service for Verizon is minimal at or around the property so Wi-Fi was key. If I could ask for anything different would just suggest another fridge in the garage perhaps. For a large group that likes to cook, it was tough. But the industrial ice machine out back kept the coolers going so we made it work. Would come back again if we were to venture to Wisconsin again."

Welcome to the Origin Apartment located in our home that we like to call the Chateau. We are located in a country setting with breathtaking scenery. Parfreys Glenn, Devil's Lake, Wisconsin Dells and many other top attractions are located close by. Devil's Lake Ski Resort is located just across the street from us. Oasis is a brand new apartment that is located below us. The apartment has two levels, a full kitchen, and a deck right outside your door to take in the beautiful views. There is a fire pit to cozy up to on cold nights or enjoy smores with friends and family. Bathroom and Sleeper Sofa located on the main level for those that need to avoid stairs. This apartment can comfortably sleep six people. If you have a larger group please inquire about our other apartment options close by.

The home was completely renovated in 2022! It is located across from Lake Wisconsin with a modern open floor plan, lake views, and a large front deck. The free Merrimac Ferry (seasonal) is within walking distance or a short drive away. Devil's Lake State Park and the Ice Age Trail are nearby. There are many options for restaurants in the surrounding areas, and Wisconsin Dells is a 30-minute drive away. There are endless areas to explore to enjoy year-round activities!

Located in the quaint village of Merrimac, one block from Lake Wisconsin, and five blocks from the free Merrimac Ferry. In a family friendly neighborhood with sidewalks, yet feels private on all sides of the property. Walking distance to Merrimac Memorial Park with dock for fishing, a playground, and panoramic lake views.

Relax on the large front deck overlooking the community baseball diamond and Lake Wisconsin. In warmer months, a four person outdoor dining table with an umbrella and also four tall deck chairs are available.

The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, stovetop/oven, microwave, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, cooking sheets, casserole dishes, slow cooker, coffee maker (12-cup drip and Keurig combo), and toaster. There is an outdoor charcoal grill for guest use (bring your own charcoal and fluid).

Main level full bathroom with tub/shower and essentials (bath/hand towels, washcloths, TP, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash).

Access to the basement is included. There is a rec room with living space and TV, table for games or dining, work desk, and a putting green mat. There is also a washer and dryer and a quarter bathroom (toilet only, utility sink is around the corner in laundry space).

In the living room, there is a Samsung smart TV with YouTubeTV streaming app, along with various games and puzzles for your entertainment. There is also a smart TV in the basement rec room.

You also get access to a huge, charming and rustic Schoolhouse and Blacksmith shop party area for an additional $150 fee (see club). This open area is great for anything from bridal showers to family gatherings, and can even be a place to park your sleds if you're traveling to snowmobile.

Inside the house: Full kitchen w/island and formal dining area. Flex room right off dining (think: games, oversized couch, additional table, etc). Spacious living room easily invites relaxation and camaraderie. Nicely appointed Queen ML bedroom off the living with it's own access outside.

The second level of the house features 3 bedrooms/2 full baths. Each bedroom has king beds. Views of Lake Wisconsin can be found from two of the rooms. Additionally, two rooms have futon style seating available.

Upper level: Club House. Great view of Lake Wisconsin. Likewise, you have some awesome bunk house style arrangements with 5 twin beds and two televisions with BluRay and Wii gaming systems. This area also has it's own heating/cooling.

We welcome guests with their own specialized code to get in available through their stay. We will communicate prior to your stay and provide information and Welcome Binder available on site for most of your questions and requests. Prior to your stay, look for a text or email thru platform with your code for access to the property. This code is only usable from check in time to check out time during the duration of your stay.

Merrimac (Colsac) Ferry is a free ferry ride from one side of Lake WI to the other (seasonal). Fun ice cream shops available on each side. Just a couple houses from the lakeside Memorial Park with docks, fishing, shelter, horseshoes and play equipment. Across the street from a softball diamond/park and church. Two doors down find a restaurant/bar with good hometown feel. Firepit onsite for making additional memories. Just a quick ride from so many other great outdoor areas: Devil's Lake, Devil's Head Skiing and Tubing, Cascade Mountain, , Ice Age Trails and Rec areas, Dwwar's Glen, Parffey's Glen, Ringling Bros Circus in Baraboo, shopping Downtown Baraboo and plenty of other great restaurants and bars close by!

Some of the best pizza at H's Place in Merrimac, so come, and let someone else deliver to you their famous Chicago Style deep dish. So much space and a great place to get away from it all.

ABOUT THE PARTY SPACE You also get access to a huge, newly renovated w/old world charm Schoolhouse and Blacksmith shop party area for an additional fee. CONVENIENCES:
We inventory our items and set out what we feel include and understand is needed for a stay the length of yours. If you need additional items and find some onsite, please just leave a note that you used it so we can adjust accordingly. This is so we can adequately supply items such as toilet paper, laundry soap, dish soap, coffee and other conveniences to our guests and maintain a reasonable rate. Items such as paper plates and condiments are left at a convenience for you, but are not something we normally stock/restock. We appreciate your understanding in this.

HEATING/COOLING:
If you are staying during a time in which you need to use the heat, please note that the main and second level of the house use the thermostat in the dining room. However, in the upper (3rd) level, it has it's own heating (baseboard) and cooling (window ac). There is a switch by the window ac to turn it from either heating or cooling. In addition, the baseboard temp is located near the AC unit as well (it runs all the baseboard heating in the upper level). Please also realize that it may take a bit to warm up/cool down the property. If you are using the heat, please be cognizant and aware of this and prior to leaving during the months of November to May, please turn the temps to 64'. If renting spring/summer please place cooling at 74' prior to vacating. This again, allows us to provide you the opportunity to use the these at your will while here without putting undue items on them like locks and presets.

CLEANING:
Unfortunately, it has to be said, and we mean this in the nicest way possible... If the cleaner comes (after checkout time) and you are here, she will begin cleaning and notify us. At that time if you choose not to leave and stay on you may be charged an additional $50 for an hour for every hour in which you are past the check out time of 11am. Again, we appreciate your understanding and adherence to the policies set forth.

Think of these amenities as a "starter kit", we HIGHLY recommend you bring additional items appropriate for your stay such as extra towels/blankets/soap/shampoo/cooking spray/laundry detergent, Salt/Pepper, etc

ENTRY
There is a keypad located at the front door for a simple keyless entry. Entry code will be provided to you 72 hours before arrival. The code is changed after every guest.

PARKING
There are 3 parking spots on the property. There is also street parking for a short amount of time. The driveway is dirt/gravel and is steep. All Wheel Drive is recommended.

THE DRIVE
Imagine you are a racecar driver, you will experience the winding country roads with an occasional obstacle getting in your way such as deer, turkeys, chickens, and more. There will be limited service so printing off directions is wise.

INTERNET/CABLE
There is reliable high speed internet throughout the cabin.
All of the TVs are Smart TVs. We do not provide Netflix or Hulu but you can certainly log in to your own account.

GRILL
We have a Charcoal grill on the property but we DO NOT have charcoal. The guest will be responsible for providing this. We do however have the utensils such as tongs, flipper, and grill scraper.

LAUNDRY
Washer and Dryer are available for use. Please bring your own laundry detergent for your stay.

BEDROOMS

There are 3 bedrooms located on the property. The main floor bedroom holds a queen-size bed while the other bedroom is located on the second floor with another queen-size bed. The third bedroom is located in the basement with a egress window and it’s own bathroom. Each mattress has a different firmness to it. Overall the cottage can accommodate 8 people comfortably.

KITCHEN
Fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig, and all of the basic kitchen essentials; Pots/Pans/Plates/Cups/ Utensils.
Keurig- Kpods are provided with creamers or sugar packets. We do not provide salt/pepper or any cooking oil.

SECURITY
Blink security cameras are located at the front of the cabin facing the driveway and one facing the front door. The third camera is facing the backyard. We will not be monitoring the camera on a day-to-day basis, only when needed. NO cameras inside the property.

FIREPIT:
Please clean up after yourself and do not move the firepit. Where it is located currently is the safest location.

The loft was awesome for the boys and they loved the video games. Kitchenette had everything we needed and the outdoor space was awesome. The caboose was an added bonus! For your entertainment, the living room TV has a Firestick, but guests will need to log in and out of their own streaming accounts. The master and second bedrooms do not have SMART TVs, but you are welcome to bring your own SMART-compatible device if you prefer.

Guest Access:
Guests will receive a code and detailed instructions 1 day prior to their stay for easy access, as the main entrance features a smart lock.

The Neighborhood:
This home is located in the Merrimac, WI, only 8 miles from Devil's Lake State Park, Merrimac Ferry, Devils Head, and Parfrey's Glen. Public access to Lake Wisconsin is located 2 minutes away from the home on Palisade St. in Merrimac.

Parking for the home is limited to 2 vehicles. Memorial Park is a block down from the property and has public parking available for extra vehicles and boat trailers! No street parking is available in front of the home.

Getting Around:
Great restaurants are in Merrimac with larger cities such as Baraboo and Prairie du Sac within 20 minutes of the home. There is a small country store in town for immediate needs, but would suggest getting additional supplies at the Walmart or Grocery stores located in Baraboo.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are responsible for bringing their own coffee, firewood, propane, and smoker pellets to ensure a smooth stay.

Please be considerate of neighbors by observing quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

For safety, please refrain from docking or tying your boat to the pier overnight. Fires are only permitted in the designated fire pit/ring area.

Smoking, vaping, or burning of any kind inside the home will result in a $250 charge. All smoking, vaping, and burning must be done outside, at least 30 feet from the building.

Fireworks are strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy will incur a $250 charge.

Parties are not allowed on the property. Violation of this rule will result in a $500 charge.

Interaction with Guests:
This unit is professionally managed by Patriot Properties. Please communicate directly through your booking platforms messaging system. If necessary, call the main office line to contact management, after hours emergency information will be available at the main office number.

Wake up overlooking the beautiful water of Lake Wisconsin in this newly remodeled 3 bedroom (plus loft) home that sits waterfront, providing amazing views whether you're lounging in the living room, or fishing from the backyard dock! It’s the perfect vacation spot with year-round activities including skiing, hiking, boating, swimming, and fishing. Only a short 10 min. drive to Baraboo, and 30 min. to the Dells.

Whether it's a romantic weekend away, or a vacation for the whole family, this home makes the perfect spot! The private dock is accessible right off the backyard (no stairs!) and yields some of the lake's best fishing. Want to swim? Feel free to swim right from the dock, with water depths varying up to 10ft past the end of the dock, to shallow in many other spots. The backyard also has an outdoor fire pit, with complimentary starter firewood.

The 1st floor features the following:
Entry/Sunroom: Use this versatile space to enjoy a dinner overlooking the lake, or to play cards/board games while you watch the sunset (the home is stocked with games for all ages, even the adults!) There is also a pull out sofa that converts into a double bed.

Alternate 1 step entry: While the home is not fully handicap accessible, it does offer an alternate entry into the home that only has 1 step. This is located through the entrance door off of the driveway. The doorway is approx. 32" wide. There are also 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and a bathroom as well.

Living Room: Has a queen pull out sofa bed, large ottoman that converts into a table top (flip top over), side tables, leather recliner, and TV (Please Note: All TV's in the home are smart TV's, and each guest will need to log into their own account for any streaming services such as Netflix).

Bedroom 1: Has a king bed, lake view, dresser, 2 nightstands, 2 folding luggage racks, and a TV.

Bedroom 2: Has a queen bed, 2 nightstands (both with a built in USB charging port). The closet has extra pillows and blankets, vacuum and mop, along with hangers and 4 folding luggage racks.

Kitchen: Has fridge with ice maker/filtered water, electric stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, full set of dishes including kid friendly/plastic options, pots and pans for cooking, tupperware storage containers, toaster, basic cooking spices, cooking spray, regular coffee pot (12 cup) with individual ground coffee packets, a single serve K-cup coffee maker with a variety of K-cups to choose from, single liquid coffee creamers (non dairy), Splenda packets, and The Raw Organic white sugar packets. There is also a large cabinet with other basics such as a first aid kit, mosquito spray, sunscreen, additional dog supplies, and a variety of board games and puzzles.

Bathroom 1: Regular and travel sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion are provided. Walk in tiled shower.

Dining Room: Has a dining room set that is identical to the set in the Sunroom. This table is also expandable. The breakfast bar has 3 chairs that are identical to the chairs used in dining set, allowing you to move seating around where needed.

Patio: A patio table and 4 chairs are provided on the deck off of the dining room.

The upstairs of the house features the following:
Landing: At the top of the stairs there is a small seating area overlooking the lake. The couch here converts to a queen sized pull out bed.

Bedroom 3 (Master Bedroom): Has a king bed, lake view, comfy chair, 2 nightstands (both with a built in USB charging port), large closet, 2 folding luggage racks, and a TV.

Loft: Has a double bed. The stairs to the loft are not intended for small children or those with mobility issues. The loft area is smaller, with the center of the room being 5ft from floor to ceiling.

Upstairs Bathroom: Has a tiled walk in shower. Travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion are provided. There is also a washer and dryer, with laundry detergent sheets available.

Backyard: The outside utility shed houses lifejackets of varying sizes, fishing poles with various lures, etc in the tackle box, and a fish cleaning station. Want to swim? Feel free to swim right from the dock. If you're looking for a swimmable beach, there is one just 3 miles away by taking the free ferry over to Okee Bay on Lake Wisconsin. There is also a swimmable beach nearby at Devil's Lake State Park.
A gas grill and 1 propane tank for the grill is provided. An 8 ft picnic table and 3 adirondack chairs are located around the fire pit for seating. Additional chairs/loungers can be found in the outside utility shed, along with outdoor games such as corn hole.

This location is conveniently close to restaurants on both sides of the lake. In Merrimac, there is the Ferry Xing Bar and Grill, Mac’s Pub & Grub, Candy’s Merrimac Café, or H’s Place Pizzeria just down the road. Across the lake in Lodi, enjoy amazing food while listening to live outdoor music (seasonal) at Fitz’s on the Lake or at Lucky’s on the Lake. There are several other restaurants in Lodi, and many more a short drive away in Baraboo and Prairie du Sac.

Activities to do/things to see:
- 1 min drive to Merrimac Ferry (Ferry is Free and runs 24/7 from April - Dec)
- 3 min drive to Moon Valley public boat launch.
- 8 minutes to Devil's Head Resort (skiing and snowboarding in the winter; golf, swimming, hiking, biking, tennis in the summer)
- 15 minutes to Devil's Lake State Park (2 large swimming beaches, hiking trails, and cross country skiing)
- 10 minutes to Parfrey's Glen State Natural Area (shorter and easier hike than Devils Lake, 1.8 total miles)
- 10 minutes to The Great Sauk Bike Trail (paved trail with amazing views)
- 15 minutes to Wollersheim Winery (wine tasting/tours available, or enjoy a cocktail with their hand crafted Brandy while enjoying food in their Bistro)
- 15 minutes (via the ferry) to Gibraltar Rock State Natural Area (1.4 mile trail)
- 15 minutes to Circus World Museum (features circus artifacts/exhibits, and has daily live circus performances throughout the summer)
- 18 minutes to Cascade Mountain (for skiing and tubing; kids ski free)
- 30 minutes to Wisconsin Dells (several waterparks, Tanger Outlet for shopping, and many other activities to explore)
- 30 minutes to Mirror Lake State Park (swimming beach, hiking trails & canoe rentals)
- 30 minutes to Hochunk Casino
- 45 minutes to Madison

Check-in is after 3pm, and check-out time is by 11am. We are happy to extend early check-in and late check-out on a case by case basis if time between bookings allow for it.
