The place is a cute old house, but certainly has been rode hard without much in the attempt to fix issues (serious wall damage, sloped floors, broken hardware in the bathroom etc.). I do not like that they send an external requests from Expedia (via email) for ID & CC info, when Expedia specifically states for you not to do that. If you don’t though, you’ll be stuck standing on the front porch unable to get in cause your door code won’t be “activated.” They might also want to spray more often for bugs, quite a few in the kitchen area when we arrived. The neighborhood is convenient for what we needed and we had no safety issues or concerns while we were there. "

- "Upon arrival surrounding area was not inviting. Seemed slummy. Front porch steps broken and unlevel. Looked unkempt. Front door window was very large. Could view inside home with no secure feeling, no blind or cover up. Very neat appearance when entering, however could tell this was a very old home that was dolled up a little. Hardwood floors felt they would cave in at any moment, not clean, grouty and dirty. Could see foot print stains of shoe bottoms in the glare of the floor. Master bedroom sink leaked, knobs loose, curtains with stains, light fixtures not working appropriately. Owner lied about sending someone to do a repair, never showed up, no response back. Smelled old in the home. Wall fixtures that should have been on wall stuffed in laundry room. Felt afraid to leave vehicle parked out front but could walk out of master and look straight out front door large window to see and if someone had been on the porch they could have looked right back at me with no problem. The home was very neat, the shower was beautiful in the master, but this home was not clean, attention to detail was not enforced, and communication during the stay with owners was a struggle.
