This beautiful houseboat is the best way to stay in Key West. Recently Featured in Old Dominion‘s music video “I was on a boat that day”, it has a sleep number bed, hot water and full-size fridge. The Boat is nestled in a very calm bay protected from waves. The beautiful sites surround you as you wake up on the water and the sunsets and stars give you great experiences as you relax on the top deck in the evening. Included in the rental is use of a 13 foot motor boat to get to and from the houseboat.
You have 360° ocean views sunsets sunrises stargazing. You can jump right off the boat into the golf of Mexico. Rental of the houseboat includes use of a 13 foot skiff to get yourself to and from land as well as plenty of parking.
Boating experience is required as you will be out on the water and get yourself to and from the boat. It is important that you are aware that this is a houseboat. Your electric is coming to the form of solar or generator power. There is a water heater and For size shower. There’s also a fridge and microwave. The bed is a sleep number which is adjustable on either side of the bed. There is AC in the bedroom. However the rest of the boat is called with the Ocean breeze in box fans. The top deck is beautiful place to watch sunsets or gaze at the stars. An extra cleaning fee will be charged if dishes are left in the sink or the house is left in very unclean conditions.
This is the best place to stay in The Fl Keys great location beautiful views and an amazing experience, hosted by a six generation local. This is on a houseboat so basic knowledge of the water is recommended. You will have to get yourself to and from the houseboat on a 13 foot skiff. I’ll meet you to check you in and show you the way out to the boat as well as how everything on the boat works like the generator and solar power. The boat does have a full-size fridge, microwave oven, stove top, hot water full size shower, sleep number queen size bed, top deck for sunsets and star gazing , everything you’ll need to be more that comfortable.
I am a six generation local to Key West. And also a licensed captain. I will be available during your stay to take you out to secluded islands in sandbars for snorkeling dolphin watching light tackle fishing or to just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Plenty of free safe parking is available at the check-in location where the dock is that you will use to get to and from the houseboat. That being said there is not a captain on this boat and I will not be there to assist you with everything so it is important that you can start a generator and the motor on the boat to get you to and from the house boat. They are in perfect working condition however this can be an issue for some people.
This is a houseboat in the Caribbean. It can get hot. you will be using a generator and solar for power. If you check into this house boat and then realize that it is not a hotel room you will not be refunded. This is similar to camping however on a boat that has the amenities however you will have to use a generator and solar for any electrical needs.
This boat is not for complainers nor land lovers. This is a boat I repeat this is a boat.

I will meet you at the check-in location at a time we scheduled prior to your arrival to show you where to park in the Skiff you will use to get to and from the houseboat. You’ll then follow me out to the houseboat so I can show you have everything on the houseboat works. I’m available if you need assistance during your stay. But everything is very simple to use as long as you do have basic knowledge and our somewhat familiar with the water.
Guest access
The entire boat is yours and your nearest neighbors are far away in the bay. So you’ll feel very private and secluded as you enjoy this unique experience. Access to and from the boat is made to use of a 13 foot kayak provided with the use of the rental. As well as one ride in when you check in and out. Water taxi is available however it is a very short kayak trip.
Other things to note
There is a full-size fridge. There is AC in the bed room however the rest of the boat is cooled with the ocean breeze. Most people don’t use the AC as the breeze and a fan make it very comfortable. However this is a boat in the Caribbean so on some days it can be hot. The toilet is a little different than yours at home main difference being that you won’t put toilet paper down the head it will go into a trashcan. An extra cleaning fee will be charged if dishes are left in the sink or the house is left in very unclean conditions. If you plan to do a lot of barhopping or partying on Duval this may not be the place for you either although you can get to and from land very easily and quickly this boat is special because it offers the other side of Key West like peaceful calm ocean views sunsets snorkeling.

This home welcomes you with a white picket fence! It has been nicely upgraded down to the wood floors and crown molding trim. Each bedroom takes on a personality of it's own with all new furniture and flat screen televisions. Large kitchen with room for two or more cooks and indoor laundry room for convenience. - "Older 70’s style home on canal with pool. I enjoyed the house but not being so far from Old Town (25 mins bike). I feel property would be best enjoyed by someone who has a boat and also a car. The pool is really nice, but was too chilly to enjoy this January. The kayaks are heavy and must be maneuvered over/back up a 6’ seawall while balancing on a small floating dock. I was unable to use them but was delighted with three manatee sightings from the deck. The home was comfortable and relaxing just not well suited to my situation."

Private home located in New Town available for 4 week minimum rental. Beautifully landscaped yard with secure private back yard and pool. The home features a modern kitchen with all appliances and granite counter top. The master suite opens onto the pool deck and is furnished with a king size bed and walk-in closet, a private bath with a large shower. Another bedroom also opens to the pool deck area and is furnished with a queen size bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. A second bathroom serves the guest bedrooms. Boat Access: 60’ Seawall w/private dockage for easy daily access to the water for fishing, boating, diving and island hoping. The public boat ramp is located directly across the canal. Bring your own boat or rent a boat from one of the nearby marinas. Seawall can accommodate one boat up to approximately 30’. Please Note: The Riviera canal leads to the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean but the bridge at the end of the canal has a max clearance height of approximately 9’ at high tide. There is also a floating dock with stairs along the sea wall for easy access to launch the kayaks and paddle boards.
Parking: There is off street parking for up to 3 cars directly in front of the home. Additional parking is available street side across the street in front of the mangroves. Trailers are subject to city rules and restrictions and will be ticketed if left unattended street side.
Pet Rules & Restrictions: we allow up to 2 pets (Dogs Only) with a $100 non refundable pet fee per 2 dogs. Dogs must be under 50lbs each. Please inquire with any questions regarding these weight restrictions. You must include pets in your booking request and provide me with the details via message.
ATTN: Most of the front yard is faux grass and PETS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED from using the bathroom there. Dogs MUST be supervised at all times in this area. Failure to comply will result in you being charged an additional $350+ professional cleaning fee and/or the the current cost to replace and install new faux grass if necessary. Pets may use the bathroom on the rocky area under the 2nd tiki hut or anywhere out front street side while leashed. You must promptly clean up after your pets in either of these areas. Pets may not be left unattended outside the home. You are responsible for any damages caused by your pets during your stay.

Smoking: This is a Non-Smoking Property. As a result, any damages, debris, cigarette butts or trash left behind will result in additional cleaning fees being charged. And the bar was a really nice extra with a second refrigerator, sink, and glassware. When we return to Key West, this is the first property we will try to reserve. Amazing outdoor space makes this home standout from the rest. Brand new HEATED pool, outdoor shower, deck and outdoor living areas. Two (2) bedrooms and one (1) bathroom is just perfect for easy Florida Keys living. Drop your bags off and grab your drink and sit by the pool and just feel the pressures of life slip away. The property is completely fenced-in for your privacy or to keep your little ones safe. Just a quick bike ride to old town and all that Key West has to offer. - "Perfect location." - "The property is in town and about 2 miles (40 minute walk from Duvall) which was ideal for us. This way you're far away from the touristy scene and more near local amenities. You're less than a mile from the pier for some fishing and a great paved path and the nature preserves. You're 5 blocks to chain coffee shops but then 5 blocks the other way to mom and pop spots like Paradise Cafe. I rode my bike to get food from grocery stores a mile away and then could zip down to Southernmost Point in 10 minutes. We walked to the marina for a charter. The place is small but we spent 16 hours of our day easily outside. I worked from "home" outside the entire time and the internet was fast. There's a TV in the living room and the main bedroom - though can't say we used it! Daghan was super attentive. The pool randomly lost some water one day and the pool guy was there in 5 minutes. He ordered things we were out of and while he was remote, he worked hard to make sure you had a good stay. The place is all newer which is great. The grass is fake but makes sense - who is going to mow the lawn for month's stays! I'd say parking is for no more than two vehicles, but you'll park it and never drive if you use bikes. You're behind a tall fence but are close to your neighbors so you can hear the guys in back and the neighbors next door when they have company outside. But nothing lasts long and you're on island time. Pool is 4' at its highest point and that's all you need. There is laundry in back and the grill is charcoal - it'd be nice to have a gas grill just because well, charcoal - time it takes and it had to burn out each time because it did not seal. There were just two of us and our dog but friends would visit. We all felt the beds were comfortable and ac ran great - you don't hear it run like I have at other short term rentals. There's hoses in front and back which worked out great because we had fishing gear to wash daily. There are two cruisers which were good for our guests. The salt water air hasn't been kind to him, but we were able to do some repairs and get reimbursed. But if you plan to do a lot of biking, bring your own bikes! That way you can ride around the Keys with your guest like kids - so fun. The kitchen is pretty well stocked. It could use a few more things and folks haven't taken good care of the pans - but you'll have that. I'm sure anything you'd need Daghan will get. We'd totally stay again - appreciate the hospitality, Daghan."

An open level of living space makes you feel like the indoors and outdoors are one giant room. Glass doors in both the master bedroom and the living room allow the sun to shine throughout the home and lets you enjoy the tranquil backyard and pool.
The living area, with a sleeper sofa, flows elegantly into the kitchen and dining areas. The master bedroom has a king bed, while the second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a full bath just down the hall.
The home features 3 flat-screen televisions equipped with YouTube Live Television, one in the living room, one in the second bedroom, and the third is outside under the Gazebo. The large 10 by 12-foot steel-roof gazebo is ideal for outdoor dining and entertaining while enjoying the tropical garden around.

- "We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, easy access to everything. Plenty of parking and privacy. Only complaint is the amount of people that have access and show up unannounced (landscaper, pool guy, etc) . Can't wait to come back next year" - "The backyard landscaping was superb with a high privacy fence, many palm trees, a well maintained pool, well maintained stone patio and walk, and a very cozy gazebo with comfortable cushioned chairs, bug screening, and even a TV. The outside shower was GREAT! The house is well maintained and small but perfect for 2 people. The kitchen is up to date with great appliances and plenty of utensils and dishes/glasses. The neighborhood is residential and very quiet with several good restaurants and pub within a 10 minute walk. The end of the EYW airport runway is close so jet landings get a little noisy but honestly easy to get used to since evening and night flights are minimal. If you are looking for total quiet, this may be a problem for you. The management team was very accommodating and responsive to the very few issues we had. The truly were dedicated to making our stay as enjoyable as possible."

No Pets: Pets are strictly prohibited. To help maintain a pet-free environment for all, we require every guest to confirm they are not bringing a pet/animal. It's free, and does not require creating an account. After booking, you'll receive a link to complete the process.
Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited to maintain a smoke-free environment.
Mid-Stay Cleaning: For stays of 28 nights or more, we reserve the right to require a mid-stay cleaning to maintain the quality of the property. For longer stays, a mid-stay cleaning will be required every 28 nights thereafter. The cost will be collected separately, and the number of cleanings depends on the length of your stay.
Boating & Dockage Advisory: Due to bridges and varying water depths, it is your responsibility to ensure that your boat can safely navigate local waters, access the canal, and fit the listed dockage before booking. A full shower bathroom and washer/dryer closet complete the open space. There is a primary king bedroom with TV and ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. BOOKING DATES...
This home is only available as a monthly rental (28 night minimum). We prefer to book by the calendar month (first day of the month to the last). We may consider alternate dates if the calendar allows or if the owner will make an exception.

Enjoy our concierge service to assist you with planning activities for your trip, from bike/scooter/golf cart rentals to any excursion you can think of including snorkeling and sunset cruises, jet ski rentals, parasailing, kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding and much more. CANCELLATION...
Bookings canceled at least 90 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund.
Cancellations inside of 90 days may receive a refund if we are able to re-rent any or all of the dates of the stay. The refund amount is dependent upon the rate of the new reservation. For multi-month reservations for January through March, a refund will only be offered in the event we are able to re-rent. The refund amount is dependent upon the rate of the new reservation(s).
