Situated on almost 2 acres, Cedar Lodge on Lake Weir offers perhaps the best views of Lake Weir you will find. The main living area is very open with fabulous views of Lake Weir. The well equiped kitchen is visually arranged and ready for your tasty creations. The master bedroom is on the 1st floor and has a king sized bed with bathroom. Upstairs is a roomy loft with 4 single beds and 1 king sized bed with privacy curtains around it. The loft has a half bath. Adjoined to the house by a breezeway is an air conditioned / heated bathhouse with a full bathroom and 2 changing rooms. There is a 3rd shower with hot water outside. Out back you will find a huge deck along with your own private beach and dock. Daily rates for weekly rentals are discounted 10% and monthly rentals 20%.

- "I had my whole family from 78 years to 9 months old. It was perfect. Lots of space, privacy, and just an overall great location. I wasn’t sure how having someone on site would be but it was fine. He was there if you needed him but we never saw him otherwise except when we checked in and when we left! My family is already asking to rebook!" - "I picked this VRBO for the lake. I wanted to be on a lake where we could, if the moment struck us, go take a dip in the lake. I also wanted a place where my family in the Ocala area could come and visit and stay overnight if possible. I got what I wanted. Our hosts, are barefoot skiers and you can tell they love it and want to share it. So they gave my husband a chance to try skiing on the lake for free. He enjoyed it. The lake was one of the smaller lakes and we had no concerns about gators or such. Don told us that in the past 5-6 years he has not heard anything about any alligators. This put my mind at ease. There were otters. We did not see the otters, just the evidence of otters of spent mussel shells. We also saw Sandhill cranes. There was a canoe available for use. My nieces were able to try their hand at going out on the lake. Another day my husband explored the lake in the canoe. Don pointed out things of interest that my spouse might like to explore while out on the water. The house was big enough to host 3 or 4 extra family members for dinner. I am sorry we did not have enough time (or energy.... so much to do) to do any grilling on the deck. The kitchen is decently stocked to make dinner and the Publix isn't too far of a car ride from the house. Don lives on the other side of the shared laundry room in a little apartment. We didn't hear him and I'm guessing he didn't hear our very loud son. So I felt that we had our privacy. All in all it was a wonderful stay."

The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and ensuite bathroom. As for the two guest rooms, one is furnished with two single beds and the other is furnished with a queen bed. The house has in unit washer and dryer that guests are free to use.

Guests have full access to the grounds including the private dock in the backyard.

If you like to fish you are also in luck, an eight pound large mouth bass was recently hauled in right off our dock!

This amazing lake front property has room for the whole family. Measuring at over 4000 square feet of interior space and more than 900 square feet of screened porch, everyone will be able to spread out and relax. In addition each guest room has access to its own bathroom allowing each set of guests to retreat into their own private space when the time comes to recharge for the next adventure. The boat house over the water is another enormous space where you might just spend all your time. Peaceful and breezy with seating for 20 including hanging chairs and a hammock. Bring your boat and anchor right off the sandy beach. Over 140 feet of sandy beach lakefront so you can enjoy many different types of water and sandy activities! Enjoy a beach bonfire in the fire pit and roast some s'mores! At meal time you will find yourself gathering in the gigantic gourmet kitchen and making memories together or possibly making all your meals outside on the Weber grill and Blackstone griddle.

When you need to recharge, each bedroom has its own flat screen television with access to Netflix, Prime Video, and more than 140 cable TV channels and music. All bedding and towels are premium quality to make you feel like you are truly on vacation. We provide body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for your convenience.

We have a full size clothes washer and dryer on site for your use and we provide laundry detergent for your use. You will find toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, and garbage bags. You should be able to show up and find all the basic needs to start your visit. If you have any special questions or requests feel free to contact us after booking and we may be able to arrange it for you.

Our cottage offers 3 fully furnished bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen with appliances along with a large indoor and outdoor living spaces. The indoor living space is furnished with a large comfy couch while the outdoor living space offers a table for dining along with a screened pool, fire pit and an open air lounge area on the dock. Full on-site laundry with detergents is available for our guests stay.

- "This was our first trip to Lake Weir. We enjoued our stay. The house was clean and up to date. Nice to have 3 kayaks available for guest use. Easy, quick, keyless access into home. Great communication with host! Only improvements I would recommend is AC improvement, as it struggled with the summer heat, the yard could've used a mowing, and possibly clean up some lily pads around the bank area to have more room to park a boat. Overall, a nice, small house and would definately go back and recommend to others."
