We have six security cameras. One at the front door, one above the garage facing the driveway, one inside the garage, one in the backyard facing the garden, one at the side yard, and one at the pool deck. All cameras record color video and audio and will be on at all times.

There are also two Amazon Echo dots inside the property. There is one located in the master bedroom and one located in the living room behind the TV. Guests may unplug the Echos if they choose.

*Cleaning*
Casa Tropicál will always be professionally cleaned prior to arrival. Guests with extended stays will also receive complementary cleaning service every two weeks. The bi-weekly service will consist of light cleaning of the kitchen, bathrooms, and floors. It will not include linen service or tidying of personal items.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
** Is the pool heated? **
Yes! The pool is heated to 80 degrees in the winter months (Nov - April). However, the heater shuts off if the air temp drops below 52 degrees. The pools stays naturally warm in the heat of the summer. If guests would like to increase the temperature, there will be an additional fee per night for the entire duration of the reservation.

** What items do you supply? **
We provide linens, bath towels, beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, a well stocked kitchen with utensils including pots/pans, coffee maker, basic spices, board games, etc. We provide enough toilet paper and paper towels to get you through the first few days of your stay.

The patio is nice. Pool isn't heated (bummer). On site parking. No stove or washer dryer is challenging. The owners were very nice. The place had pretty much every thing we needed with many things supplied from coffee to seasonings, bars etc. We loved it here!"

Downstairs is a bright comfortable living & sleeping area with a pillow top queen bed, cozy convertible sectional sofa & FireTV.

The spiral staircase brings you to the second floor where there is a nice sitting & dining area equipped with a Roku TV. The well stocked kitchen and bath are also located on the 2nd level.

The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, Cuisinart convection/toaster/air fryer/oven combo, a 2 burner hotplate, microwave, NutriBullet Blender & a small drip coffee maker. Additionally, there is a propane grill with side burner available for exclusive use of the casita.

With a balcony off the second story as well as two small patios on the first level to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening libation, indoor/outdoor enjoyment is maximized for your stay.

Keeping doors & windows closed and keeping food stored & sealed properly are ways to ensure a little lizard or other friend won't come in :-)

We cooked in the kitchen and lounged on the back deck, while our dog Vinny roamed a very large fenced in backyard. He had the time of his life, chasing squirrels and lizards :-) the house was clean with everything you need, including anything you forgotten, like deodorant, and toothbrush. The best way to get around is by car unless you enjoy walking. Please note that the home is not fenced and it’s located on a large lot of open land with some forest area. Please respect the Florida wildlife, if you happen to see any, and don’t approach any wild animals. Due to the fact that we are adjacent to forest areas, there’s always a chance you may see hawks, turtles, eagles, snakes, coyotes, raccoons, opossums, etc. Although we’ve never run into any trouble with any animals or wildlife, we just want to ensure you know, although very close to the main roads, that you’ll be staying in the country.

A nice, clean, quiet place. Close to the mall and the beaches. 30 minutes from Tampa or St. Petersburg. I'm very comfortable meeting and hosting people. I meet lots of new people all the time at my job I do when I'm on my business trips. I can get along with anyone, but at the same time you will have as much space as you need to be alone too. We have a camera facing the street above the garage.

Welcome to this cozy 1-bedroom retreat near Florida’s best beaches. Enjoy a large LED TV, Xbox, and streaming channels. The bathroom (may or may not have it to yourself, depends if other room is booked) You’ll have access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, and backyard patio. We are 10 minutes from Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands, and 15 minutes from Tarpon Springs. My friendly dog Toby is here, so please keep your door closed. We live in a quiet Florida neighborhood, close to beaches, springs, shopping, attractions such as Bush Gardens, Legoland ect. 35 minute drive into down town Tampa. 30 minutes to Clearwater Beach, 10 minutes to Honeymoon island

We are a family so there may or may not be interaction depending on time of stay, i.e. School week, weekend or not

Hurricane evacuees: Hurricane Ian we decided to open up dates for people that needed to evacuate. Should the risk in our area remain high, we will not be able to. Please note that should you stay with us, guest have to bring their own food and emergency supplies as we were barely able to purchase enough supplies to cover our family's needs. (Everything is sold out in our area) We will also not be able to guarantee that you may not have to evacuate to the nearest shelter with us.

Great location, outdoor space, ambiance, and neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and one furry friend (pet).
Sit in the fenced in backyard and enjoy the view of my garden from under the Pergola or the patio outside the large screened in lanai.

TV in the bedroom with HBO, along with Amazon Prime and Netflix. You can access the screened in lanai from the bedroom, which leads to the backyard. The living room/dining room is just outside the bedroom. Galley kitchen for your use.

We are close to everything.
We have a dog is a beautiful dog newfoundland poodle and she is very kind to all people. Quiet house after 9 p.m. No food is allowed in the bedroom, some snacks are good. SORRY YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COOK , MICROWAVE IS OK
PLACE WITH A LOT OF PEACE AND TRANQUILITY. Your room includes a bed with a viscoelastic foam mattress so you can enjoy a great night's sleep, and fridge.

This 250 sqft private studio suite has everything you need for simple living. A full kitchenette with about every appliance you can imagine, a multi-use desk, 55” tv with all the trimmings, a comfy queen bed, bathroom with walk in shower featuring 3 shower heads, and the optional (additional fee) use of a shared laundry room.

The quaint little apartment has its own entry and features a double lock through the shared laundry.

We are currently in a windy season so if there are any leaves in the pool, feel free to use the net to remove and make it more comfortable for swimming. We do not have a light or a heater in the pool at this time so swim at your own discretion.
The pool gets professionally cleaned on Fridays but occasionally Saturdays.

Sunny Studio includes all of the interior space as shown in the photos. There is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven and mini fridge as well as a queen-sized bed and its own restroom with shower.

Other things to note
The owners live on the property and are available to help at anytime. This unit has its own separate entrance and there is no interior shared spaces.
The owners generally follow the guests' lead regarding interactions, and do not use the pool or backyard when guests are present. The backyard also shares space with a larger AirBnb rental with a max of 6 occupants at a time.
*POOL***
The pool has a sitting tub, as the jets are not powerful, typical of a hot tub. This tub can be heated, as well as the pool, however, the temperatures are relative to ambient temperature outside.
Usually we are unable to get the temperature over 10 degrees F above ambient temperature (please consider low temperatures when booking).
We do not turn on the heater when temperatures outside are below 62 degrees F. Upon request, we will do so, however, a $30 per day fee will apply and need to be paid ahead of time.
