Depending upon which direction you walk, drive, bus or take a ride-share service, you will find tourist destinations, business centers, restaurants of all styles, lovely parks, grocery stores, coffee shops, bakeries and a wide variety of shopping nearby in the Phinney Ridge, Greenwood, Wallingford, Fremont and Ballard neighborhoods. Travelers can easily reach the business centers of South Lake Union and Downtown.

There is plenty of on-street parking right out front and several bus stops within blocks. Bus route 5 runs north/south, route 44 runs east/west. Downtown, Seattle Center, South Lake Union and the University District are all just 10 minutes away by car.

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed. It also features a large closet with a built-in dresser and full-length mirrors on the doors. The high quality sleeper sofa (no hide-a-bed bars here) in the living room pulls out to a comfy queen-sized bed. There is a selection of extra pillows and bedding so that you can find just the right combination for a good night's rest. Blackout shades throughout the house provide plenty of excuses for sleeping in whether you are in the bedroom or on the sleeper sofa. All sheets are high thread count and 100% cotton.

The fully-equipped kitchen with dining nook has stainless steel appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, hand mixer as well as all the dishes, pots, pans and utensils you will need. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are provided.

The bathroom includes a new shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, as well as hand soap, lotion, hair dryer and plenty of plush towels. Terrycloth robes are also provided.

Fast fiber-optic WiFi will keep you connected. Basic cable and Netflix are provided. Any subscription services that you have can be streamed on the high-definition 40” TV.

I called hotels to correct it. They said I needed to book another day which would put me at two cleaning fees. They said to contact the property. I contacted the property seven times with no response. When we got to the AirBNB the blowup mattress turned me into a taco two hours later. The so-called futon couch was the size for a child that didn’t even flatten out. the windows have half inch cracks in it so we froze which got us sick from the air coming straight into our face. The traffic is so loud all day all night. You don’t get a decent sleep. The mattress in the bedroom was so lived in. We had to put it on the floor, so our backs wouldn’t hurt. There was absolutely no blankets whatsoever which we had to go out and purchase some. All they had was sheets. There was not sufficient drawers. My son-in-law had to put his clothes in the kitchen cabinet or kitchen drawer. We ended up paying out-of-pocket four days at a different hotel just to get some sleep and have appropriate accommodations. The tub doesn’t drain so you’re taking a shower with water up to your ankles."

This is our guest suite with living room by the backyard(on the ground) and bedrooms are located in the basement below the main unit above. There are 2 bedrooms in this unit including the one with queen size, and another with Full size mattress. Full bath has a tub. You will love large living room light filled with ceiling windows, overlooking relaxing backyard garden, spacious round table, black genuine leather sofa.

We have brand new louvered pergola with privacy screens on a beautiful tiled patio only for your party. Brand new furniture is waiting for you to relax. You will be completely covered by elements, sun by adjusting metal louvers.

There is a dedicated parking space inside the gate only for your party by the entrance. With 3min walk, there is a bus stop 24/7 rapid D-line to downtown and Ballard. It is literally steps away from large green space, playground and soccer field with jogging track and also very walkable to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, groceries. Alert! on 8/30, We are expecting a brand new grocery just a few blocks from the house. Metropolitan Market, premium grocery brand in Seattle, which will offer eat-in options, along with nice quality food, cafe.

From my experience with hosting, majority of the guests are very respectful and follow the house rule. We strictly enforce the quite hours from 10pm-7am.

You will have limited access to upper unit, shed storage. Otherwise, you are welcome to use the patio in the picture. Other garden area in the backyard(much larger) is reserved for the other party.

To use it, pull it next to the sink, attach the hose to the sink faucet, turn the faucet on, and plug it in.

This is the lower unit of the house. There will be some noise but it should be "normal". Quiet hours are 11PM-8am. If there is excessive noise during that time, please message me and I will address it as soon as I am able.

You have your own deck area so you can watch the eagles and herons sitting in the trees with Bainbridge island in the background. Hear the waves rolling in as the tides move in and out. All this and you are located right in Seattle.

Other things to note
The trains run all along the waterfront and in front of the studio and they run 24 hours. Although most people find them really cool ( I have even seen a 737 airplane fusalage coming by) they can blow their horns at times and you can hear them roll by.
