There is a brochure of the history of the house in the welcome book which we found very interesting. The kitchen is very well stocked and a great size to do any size meal with a great dining room to enjoy your culinary creations. The rooms are a great size and the beds are very comfortable. We were very pleasantly surprised at the location of the home - 1/2 block from the very walkable Truckee River and far enough away from the riff raff of downtown hustle and bustle. We will definitely look this property up again on our next stay in town."
