Fabulous house for entertaining family and friends and location, location, location - historic Plaza Midwood near central Charlotte.

Before reading further please keep in mind:
- Absolutely NO parties or events allowed at our home. There is a $1,000 fee for not abiding by this rule.
- Quiet time is from 10pm-8am on weekends and 9pm-8am on weekdays.
- We live nearby so we are available, if needed!
- Our home can only accommodate the number of guests shown in the listing details, no additional guests permitted.

While this may feel restrictive, these guidelines are in place to ensure a peaceful experience for everyone in the area. We want you enjoy time with your own guests staying at the house. We kindly ask to keep music or loud talking to a peaceful noise level to respect our neighbors.

All bedrooms other than the primary (only USB ports) include nightstands with charging function - arranged with 2 Standard AC Outlets and 2 USB ports. All bedrooms have luggage racks and ceiling fans.

All bathrooms include hair dryers/diffusers, Ginger Lily products for hair and body (animal cruelty free), and little extras for those products you may have forgotten.

This is a non-smoking house, including vapes. Guests can smoke outdoors (not on the porches) but must properly dispose of any cigarette butts or cigars. $500 dollar fine for smoking indoors.

Per the NC Vacation Rental Act, signature, payment of money, or taking possession of the property are evidence of your acceptance of the agreement.
The booking guest is required to complete the check-in form with a valid government ID. Missing or inaccurate information will result in a termination of your stay without refund.
Minimum booking age: 25 years old.
If the booking party is under 25, MyTripify reserves the right to collect a *refundable $1000 security deposit along with an ID of guest who is 25 or above. Alternatively the reservation may be canceled and refunded based on the cancellation policy.

Access to the Home:
Early check-in (1:00 PM) may be requested and will be accommodated if possible.

No parties are permitted. Any neighborhood disturbance will result in a $400 fine and termination of your stay without refund.

Pets:
Unfortunately we DO NOT ALLOW any pets. Any unapproved pets will result in a $250 fine.

Parking:
Any parking or driving on the grass is prohibited and will result in a $300 fine. Follow posted signage for street parking.

Smoking:
No smoking whatsoever inside the home.
Smoking is permitted outside only. All remnants must be properly disposed of outside to prevent any smell inside. If the house smells of smoke or remnants are found inside, a smoking fee will be issued of $500.

Damages:
Guests are responsible to immediately report and pay for any damages cause during their stay.

Internet Usage:
We are not responsible for material viewed or downloaded by users from the internet including but not limited to illegally copyrighted material such as movies, music, or other digital media. Doing so will result in a fine of $500 per occurrence. Additionally you agree to Indemnify and hold harmless us for any damages caused by illegal internet use.

Trash:
Trash should fit into the outside receptacles or be removed disposed of prior to checkout. Any trash that does not fit into the outside receptacles will incur an additional $75 per bag charge.

Bungalow 1325 is just 3 miles from Uptown Charlotte and situated in the very heart of PLAZA MIDWOOD!

You will also have a private drive (hard to come by near the city!) on site with space for 2 cars which is getting rarer near Uptown! (and on street parking is an option as well.

Just next door is a wonderful wine bar (BOHEMIAN) and a luxe nail salon with many other restaurants/shops/pubs all within walking distance.

A Truly a classic 110 year old historic bungalow situated in the historic Plaza Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte NC neighborhood.

- "The home was in walking distance to alot of things. It was a cute little home." - "The bungalow was even better than we expected. Every space was beautifully curated. The beds & linens incredibly comfy. Close to so many things to do & places to eat. (You can hear noise from nearby businesses on weekends but not to where you can’t sleep & it didn’t bother us at all.) We even ubered to other areas & was not expensive nor far. Check-in was seamless as was the entire stay. We were pretty busy while in Charlotte I didn’t have time to reach out to Cass but glad I really didn’t have to. I just couldn’t find the check out process & to let them know one of the other guests burnt the popcorn & it made the bungalow smell funky for a bit. I’d definitely stay here again."

The minimum age to book the property is 25 years old.

If the booking party is under 25, they may submit the ID of any guest who will be staying at the property. If no guest meets the age requirement, MyTripify reserves the right to collect a refundable* $1000 security deposit. Alternatively, the reservation may be canceled based on the regular cancellation policy, and the guest will be refunded according to the listing's cancellation policy.

*If an additional security deposit is collected, it will be refunded after the guest checks out and the house is inspected for any damage. In case of damages, the amount required to repair or replace the damaged items will be deducted from the security deposit.

MyTripify uses a rental agreement with each reservation to clearly outline and protect your rights and responsibilities.

Once traveler information is confirmed, a completed version of the rental contract will be sent via email. Per the NC Vacation Rental Act, signature on this agreement, or payment of money, or taking possession of the property after receipt of the agreement is evidence of your acceptance of the agreement and your intent to use the property for a vacation rental.

The minimum age to book the property is 25 years old.

To ensure safety and security each guest is required to complete the check-in form including a valid government ID. Non complete or inaccurate information in the arrival form will result in a termination of your stay without refund.

No third party bookings. The booking guest is required to be staying at the property otherwise MyTripify will cancel the reservation without refund.

Check in times have been adjusted due to COVID-19 cleaning protocols.

Holdover past checkout will result in a $250 fee, and does not entitle the guest to any extension of the rental period.

Quiet Enjoyment
You have the right to quiet enjoyment of the property, so please respect the neighbors’ peace. Only booked guests are allowed on-site, and no parties are permitted. Disturbances will incur a $400 fine and may lead to termination of your stay without a refund.

Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM, at which point noise should be kept at reasonable levels.

Access to the Home
Enjoy private access to the entire home, aside from the locked owners closet on the lower level, and the locked shed in the backyard.

To keep belongings safe and secure, be sure to lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.

Pets
Pets are permitted on the property ONLY when disclosed and approved before check-in. We do NOT allow cats. Any undisclosed pets will result in a $350 fine. No cats are allowed on the premises.

Please keep pets off furniture and beds. Any breach will result in additional cleaning charges up to $300.

Pet owners wanting to bring pets must disclose the type of pet, breed, name, and age (3 pets maximum). Pending approval, a non-refundable pet fee of $149 + booking platform fees, is to be collected prior to check in. If pets will be in the property for more than 1 week, MyTripify requires guests to purchase travel insurance.

Pet owners are expected to clean up after all pets including waste in the back yard and surrounding neighborhood. Any damages done by pets will be charged to the guest.

Parking
Parking is available for up to six cars in the driveway, garage, and on the street. No garage remotes are provided; access the garage via the wall remote inside. Please close the garage door and lock the door to the house when leaving.

Any driving or parking on the lawn or grass area is prohibited and will result in a $300 fine.

Smoking
No smoking is allowed inside the home. Smoking is permitted outside on the deck and in the backyard. All remnants must be properly disposed of outside to prevent any smell inside the home. If the house smells of smoke or if remnants are found inside the house a smoking fee will be issued of $500.

Damages
Any damages done to the property must be reported immediately. Additional damages caused by neglect or negligence will be charged to the guest.

Excessive Trash
All trash, including unused food, must be removed from the refrigerator, cabinets, and indoor bins, then placed in the outdoor receptacles. Trash exceeding the receptacle space should be disposed of by guests before checkout; excess trash will incur a $75 fee per bag.

Internet Usage
By using the internet provided at any MyTripify property, you agree to our Internet Policy as follows.

MyTripify is not responsible for material viewed or downloaded by users from the internet including but not limited to illegally copyrighted material such as movies, music, or other digital media. Doing so will result in a fine of $500 per occurrence. Additionally, you agree to Indemnify and hold harmless MyTripify for any damages caused by illegal internet use.

Checkout Instructions

Guests are responsible for all of the following: Please understand any violation of the checkout procedures will result in increased cleaning costs and will result in fine.

-Place used towels and linens on the floor of each room.
-Rinse dirty dishes and put in the dishwasher and start before departure, Hand wash pots & pans and place in drying rack
-Wipe spills on surfaces like floors and counters, use rags, paper towels, or wipes DO NOT use white towels
-Sweep the floor of any noticeable debris, Use broom, vacuum, or swiffer
-All Trash is removed including but not limited to unused food from the refrigerator and cabinets. Kitchen and bathroom trash bags are taken outside to the large receptacles.
-Turn off all lights and lock doors upon departure

Interaction with Guests:

- "The best thing was the very comfortable beds. The kitchen was stocked with essential cookware, spices and seasoning. It was in a convenient location and felt safe. It is a little hard to get in and out from the property onto the main road as there is no light and it is across busy traffic. It had mostly everything we needed. There were no shower toiletries provided and the downstairs bathroom was missing hand soap. It was cute and clean but definitely a bit of general grunge and old age showing. Overall, worth it for the price and I would stay again."

- "Host doublebooked the space, leaving another party to enter the place at 10:45pm when I was almost asleep. Luckily, we were all friendly and safe, but THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN! The host was able to redirect the other party to a different place, but didn’t even apologize at the end of the phone call during which we sorted this out. She just hung up. There was no offer to make things right, say, by offering a discount or other gesture. And I had to request that the door code be reset—the host didn’t think of doing that for me after another party had received the code, too—which waited over 11 hours and a second, prompting note to get a response. The place itself was great, but the service was very disappointing. This could have been a very dangerous situation!! (What if any of us who were so startled by each other’s unexpected presence had been armed? Or interested in sexual assault?) I would avoid renting from this host in the future. :("

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
We are ideally located within minutes of Charlotte's downtown, Noda, The Plaza and major interstates that connect you quickly to anywhere you want to go. The neighborhood is in a gentrified area, there is a combination of new expensive homes as well modest homes, which is expected in areas around downtown of a growing city such as Charlotte that is growing everyday. If you don’t feel comfortable in a mixed/gentrified area, we appreciate your interest in our home and suggest our guests to look for accommodations in another area.

A FEW NOTES:
**Our home is located within the Charlotte city limits, and is situated right at the sidewalk, normal to a city home, but with the proximity to the road, you will hear passing vehicles, which is normal for a home within the city, but we want our guests to be aware that you will hear noises from the street due to our home built right by the sidewalk.

****For your convenience, the city bus passes by our home and has a stop a block and a half from our home.

***There is a train track crossing a little over mile from our home, you might hear the far noise of the train.

Make yourself at home in this cozy residence. Walk into an open living room that connects to the kitchen. Down the hall is a full bathroom, an office, and two bedrooms with the master connecting to another full bathroom. The backdoor leads to a deck and fenced-in back yard.

Only one mile from Uptown Charlotte and nestled between popular neighborhoods NoDa and Plaza Midwood. Free parking available with space for two vehicles in the driveway and additional spots along Barry St.

Uptown Charlotte is a 5-8 minute drive. The heart of Plaza Midwood is a 3-minute drive (20-minute walk) and the heart of NoDa is a 5-minute drive (30-minute walk). For transit, the light-rail station is a 2-minute drive (15-20 minute walk) ON OUR ROAD and will take you anywhere between Uptown and the University area. Bus stops are across the street and next to our house, and there are bike-share (and scooter) options scattered throughout the area. Lyft and Über vehicles are always nearby.

This vintage 1940 home is in the very heart of historic Plaza Midwood, 5 minutes to Uptown Charlotte (Hornets Arena, Panthers and Knights Stadiums, Museums, Arts Complex) , 3 blocks from grocery, post office, vibrant shopping and restaurant district. 15-20 minutes to airport, shopping malls, Carowinds, UNC Charlotte. Minutes to Carolinas Medical and other hospitals.

Room includes TV, wireless, pull out desk, easy chair with ottoman, large closet, adjacent private bathroom. Sit on lovely back porch in nice weather, eat in my breakfast nook.

Daily/Weekly guests have access to my refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Parking on street.

I will arrange an arrival time that works for both of us and will keep a few breakfast items in the refrigerator for you. I have a fairly busy schedule but will be happy to accommodate your needs as much as I can.

Plaza Midwood is an historic neighborhood, just minutes from the heart of uptown. It has been going through a renaissance over the past 10 years and is alive with shops and restaurants and still developing. You can walk 3 blocks to the intersection of Central Ave. and The Plaza which is the epicenter of the district. It is safe at night and a lovely neighborhood for walking at any time of year.

There is a trolley a few blocks away that you can get to go into uptown. There are busses on Central Avenue that will take you uptown and from there you can get busses out to anywhere else in Charlotte, light rail runs out to the South End, and UNC Charlotte. Uber or a car is the most efficient way to get around if you are not spending much time uptown.

I do not allow pets, smoking, drugs or heavy alcohol use.
Females, Males or Couples are welcome for short stays.

The space
The guest space is a studio loft above our detached garage. My family and I live in the main house and we are located in a family friendly neighborhood. The driveway has a gate that you can pull through to park right outside the garage, or there is free street parking. The studio loft is about 400 square feet, comfortable for 2 adults and up to 2 children.

We have a fenced in backyard and two dogs that may be out at some point when you come and go. They are friendly dogs (but can sound scary!) so please let us know if you have fears of dogs and we’ll make sure to limit their time outdoors while you’re here.

You’ll have complete autonomy during your stay, but we of course can be reached if there are any issues. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Other things to note
We allow up to 4 guests, but generally that’s to allow for 2 adults and up to 2 kids to book comfortably for a short getaway. Certainly 3-4 adults *could* “crash” in the space, but it’s only about 400 sq feet, so please be aware of that when choosing to book.

The sleeping arrangements are a daybed that converts to a full size bed, hideaway couch, and a queen air mattress. Bedding for the hideaway couch and blow up air mattress are in the storage in the chaise and in the basket by the couch.

We live about 3-4 blocks from VanLandingham Estate so a perfect option for wedding guests who want to be in walking distance.

The space
We lovingly refer to this historic guesthouse retreat as "Stevie's Cottage" in honor of our beloved Stevie Budd (we imagine that David, Alexis, Moira and Johnny live in the Rosebud Bungalow in the front lot)- it was formerly an artist's cottage and it's an inviting space complete with a king sized bed, full kitchen, dining area, office area, TV and living room area and more!
Fun fact: the Red Bungalow on the adjacent property (which we also own) was used as the setting for an upcoming MTV show (filmed in January 2022) - lodge like a rockstar!
The artist's tradition continues as you'll find the design/decor throughout curated with a bohemian/vintage meets modern amenities flair.
Completely fenced in and private, you'll walk the brick path through our string lit garden to the little front porch of the cottage. Hang on the Adirondack chairs night or day and enjoy the peace. You'll walk into the kitchen/dining area where you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, water filter in the fridge to refill your water bottles, coffee maker and all the cooking utensils.
There's a hanging hammock chair on which to relax, a desk by the window to work or study. Next you'll find the office we've converted into a second bedroom with a Double/full sized Futon. Fluffy bedding included in the closet in the office.
Here in our space you'll find mid century furniture and lighting, vintage rugs and art on the walls and lots of love in the details.
The Bedroom and Living room area has a vaulted ceiling, ceiling fans, lots of lighting and French doors that open out onto the stone patio. Listen to rain fall or enjoy the evening sunset with the windows and/or doors wide open.
King sized bed with plenty of extra blankets/quilts and a Mid Century gliding/rocking chair to take in a movie or read by the window.
You'll find two heating/air wall units with remotes in both main areas - they are brand new and heat/cool super fast.
Lots of storage in the bathroom and a big cabinet to set all the goodies. plenty of towel rack/hooks for everyone and a glass bifold door on the shower. Shampoo/soap provided.
Should you need to do some laundry we have a new washer and dryer in the closets off the bathroom.
The house on the corner in matching red paint is also available for rent was the main house for this artists' cottage. If you have a large group considering taking both places over. We have a fence dividing the back yard garden so you can feel the privacy of having your own separate entrance, parking and yard.
You'll find little hidden odes to our favorite show, Schitt's Creek throughout the space (which will hopefully continue snowballing over time) as we named the place after the Rosebud Motel.
You might find some sketch paper and colored pencils to doodle in the kitchen cabinet- and there are ample linens, a coffee maker and all that you could possibly need for your stay available!

This is a cozy, historic cottage. It's clean and in walking distance to a buzzing, vibrant, hip strip of restaurants and shops yet it's still quiet. It is an urban neighborhood and not the suburbs. The homes are close and although fenced in, you'll hear folks talk as they walk or bike by, dogs barking in neighboring yards or walking by, etc.
With the help of interior designer and co-owner, we've laid out the space in a way that maximizes your comfort and creates a relaxing vibe. It's just one floor and easily accessible so no stairs to climb while lugging your bags. The second bed is a futon- better than an open-out sofa, in our opinion. The main bed is a plush King bed and we think you'll rest well here! Lots of cables for charging all the devices. We are seasoned Airbnb hosts so you'll find us accommodating and we are excited about adding both the Rosebud Cottage and Bungalow retreats to our housing options in Plaza Midwood! The space
I love color and creativity, and my home is often my canvas to play. The environment inside is clean, tasteful with several pop of classy color and textures. Outside, you can rock on the porch under trees to enjoy the quaint quietness, or take a walk in the cozy, historic neighborhood to grab dinner, ice cream, a glass of wine, or yoga class.

My home is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, an open living/dining room, kitchen, laundry room, and small fenced in back yard. There is also plenty of shared front and side yard space.

The reviews regarding other housemates and noise are from when I lived in Boulder in 2012 next to the CU campus with 11 housemates), quite a different vibe. My place in Charlotte is peaceful and only myself and a possible foster dog.

I am here to help make your stay comfortable. I work out of the house and sometimes from home. I love giving tips on where to go and things to find what you need/want. Come and go as you please, and don't feel like you have to entertain me, and I don't want to get in the way of your plans.

Other things to note
I occasionally foster dogs, so you might share the space with a mellow, well-mannered canine who adds a warm and loving presence to the home. If you'd like to bring your own dog, I consider each request individually. Please include your dog’s age, breed, and temperament in your booking message. While I adore dogs, the home is best suited for calm and respectful fur ladies or gentlemen. If your dog is also a guest, he must be crated when left unattended.


My home is both my residence and a working atelier, where I create fine art and custom jewelry for myself, clients, and the Muse. While I maintain a clean and welcoming space, this is a lived-in, creative environment. You may notice small remnants of the process—paint drops on the floor, a smudge on a table, fingerprints of imagination past. It’s part of the charm and soul of the space, where inspiration has room to breathe.


This is a 100% non-smoking property, both inside and outside. While I respect everyone's personal choices, if you are a smoker, everyone will be more comfortable with you finding a more suitable abode.

This guesthouse sits hidden in the middle of Plaza Midwood and has parking and a private entrance for guests. French doors open to the outdoor space, which has a fire pit and seating for dining, and is a perfect accompaniment to the guesthouse's floor plan.

The 55-inch television swivels a complete 180 degrees to be enjoyed whether you are sitting inside the space or out on the patio. The kitchen has all the amenities you could need - full-size refrigerator, convection oven, Nespresso machine for coffee and espresso, hotplate for cooking and plenty of kitchenware.

The wooden wardrobe opens to reveal a queen-size bed with a comfortably soft, 12-inch, memory-foam mattress.

This has the potential to be a shared space if you did not rent the main house as well. With that, we ask that you remain respectful of others in close proximity to you.

I do not impose a cleaning fee, so please do your best to leave the space tidy. Remove all trash upon check out and inform me of any spills or messes so I know best how to clean.

The space
The "Kube" is a converted two-car garage tucked away in a residential neighborhood with deep yards. The garage door is multi-functional, allowing you to open it up to enjoy the weather or pull down the shade to use the projector for a movie night. It gets plenty of natural light, but there are also shades on all windows for complete privacy.

There is one full bed on the main floor that doubles as a couch, as well as a twin bed in the loft area. I can also provide one full air mattress and two twin air mattresses.

Wi-Fi information is available on the picture frame on the kitchen island, as well as in your reservation details. You will have your own router in the unit if you need to plug in directly with an Ethernet cable.

Media: The TV has every app known to man for your login, and YouTube TV is provided. You can switch it up by using the projector, which is connected to a DVD player for any of the supplied movies, as well as a Fire Stick for streaming. The projector is connected to Polk Audio speakers for a surround sound effect.

There is an in-unit washing machine and dryer with no restrictions on usage—wash a single sock for all I care!

The decor is a blend of funky, modern, and retro styles, mostly from the '90s. Don't forget to take a photo with the Polaroid camera and post it on our cork wall!

The general flow/layout of the home is as follows: you'll enter the home into the living room with Boho vibes. Moving through the living room, you'll find the kitchen area. Continuing down the hallway you'll find Bedroom 1 on the left, then continue down the hallway to Bedroom 2, and finally the bathroom at the end of the hallway.


Our living Room features a pull out couch (sleeps 2), 2 accent chairs, coffee table, Roku TV with streaming apps. There are also blankets on the ladder by the couch for you to get cozy and stream a movie! There is also a closet with washer/dryer available for guest use. (Laundry Detergent for guests is stored in this closet as well!)

In the kitchen you'll find a full refrigerator, oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker on the counter (drip coffee maker is stored in the cabinet if you prefer it) creamer and coffee provided for guests in cabinet above coffee pot. Cooking & Dining essentials such as pots, pans, flatware, dishes, glasses, and other basic kitchen items are stored in the cabinets. Dishwasher pods, trash bags and other light cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink. We have a small dining area in the kitchen that seats 4 on stools.

In bedroom you'll find comfy a King size bed, accent chair, 2 bedside tables, and a closet with a luggage rack.

Bedroom 2 bedroom is equipped with a Queen size bed, 2 bedside tables, and a closet with a luggage rack. This is also where you'll find the bedding for the pull out couch (located in the closet).

n the bathroom you'll find the tub/shower, sink, and toilet. Under the bathroom sink you can find extra toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body washer and a steamer.

Moving through the living room, you'll find the kitchen area. Continuing down the hallway you'll find Bedroom 1 on the right, then continue down the hallway to Bedroom 2, and finally the bathroom at the end of the hallway.

The living room features comfortable seating - a pullout couch (sleeps 2) and 2 accent chairs. Stream your favorite shows on the Roku TV while you lounge or enjoy a meal at the small dining table with bench and 2 stools. (sits 4-5.)

Moving through the living room, you'll enter the adjacent kitchen which is fully equipped with appliances and all the cookware and utensils you need to prepare meals during your stay. Features: full refrigerator, oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker (with creamer and coffee provided), dishwasher, pots, pans, flatware, dishes, glasses, and other basic kitchen items can be found in the cabinets. Guests have private access to all 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, both living areas, laundry room, all amenities, and the backyard. Only the locked owner's closet is unavailable. Parking is available on the left side of the house in the driveway and on the street.

Self-entry via electronic lock, meaning quick easy access for everyone in the group. An early check-in may be requested, and will be accommodated if possible.

Other things to note
Unfortunately we do NOT allow any pets. Any unapproved pets will result in a $250 fine.

We use a rental agreement with each reservation to clearly outline and protect your rights and responsibilities, a completed copy will be sent to you before your reservation starts.

Once traveler information is confirmed, a completed version of the rental contract will be sent via email. Per the NC Vacation Rental Act, signature on this agreement, or payment of money, or taking possession of the property after receipt of the agreement is evidence of your acceptance of the agreement and your intent to use the property for a vacation rental.

Your stay is very important to us! Please read through the following house rules. Any breach is subject to a fine.

The minimum age to book the property is 25 years old.

To ensure safety and security each guest is required to complete the check-in form including a valid government ID. Non complete or inaccurate information in the arrival form will result in a termination of your stay without refund.

Check-in and Checkout
Check-in is at 5:00 PM (unless purchased prior day($99 + Booking platform fees); early check-in is at 1:00 PM)
Check-out is at 11:00 AM

Check-in times have been adjusted due to COVID-19 cleaning protocols.

Early check-in may be requested and will be accommodated if possible.

Holdover past checkout will result in a $250 fee, and does not entitle the guest to any extension of the rental period.

Quiet Enjoyment
You have the right to quiet enjoyment of the property during your stay, we ask that you please do not disturb the rights of the neighbors. Only guests from the booking are allowed on the premises, and no parties are permitted whatsoever. Any disturbance of the neighbors will result in a $400 fine as well as the termination of your stay without refund.

Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM, at which point noise should be kept at reasonable levels.

Access to the Home
Enjoy private access to the entire home, aside from the locked owner’s closet.
To keep belongings safe and secure, be sure to lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.

Pets are not permitted.

Parking
Parking is available in the driveway and on the street, with a maximum of four cars. Any driving or parking on the lawn or grass area is prohibited and will result in a $300 fine.

Electric Vehicle Charging:
We have an electric car charger available for use in the driveway. Guests traveling with an electric vehicle will need to bring their own adapters, as none are provided with the charger.

Smoking
No smoking is allowed inside the home. Smoking is permitted outside on the deck and in the backyard. All remnants must be properly disposed of outside to prevent any smell inside the home. If the house smells of smoke or if remnants are found inside the house a smoking fee will be issued of $500.

Damages
Any damages done to the property must be reported immediately. Additional damages caused by neglect or negligence will be charged to the guest.

Internet Usage
By using the internet provided at any of our properties, you agree to our Internet Policy as follows.

We are not responsible for material viewed or downloaded by users from the internet including but not limited to illegally copyrighted material such as movies, music, or other digital media. Doing so will result in a fine of $500 per occurrence. Additionally you agree to Indemnify and hold harmless us for any damages caused by illegal internet use.

Trash

All Trash is removed including but not limited to unused food from the refrigerator and cabinets. Kitchen and bathroom trash bags are taken outside to the large receptacles. All trash should fit into the outside receptacles or should be disposed of by the guest prior to checkout. Any trash that does not fit into the outside receptacles will incur an additional $75 per bag.

There's just nothing like sitting on the front porch of a historic Plaza Midwood bungalow on this street- especially on this corner. MTV rented the space in January of 2022 to film one of their upcoming shows- lodge like a rockstar!

Well appointed, welcoming three bedroom, 2 bath home. Upstairs is a full suite and the two bedrooms downstairs are adjacent to a full, newly renovated bathroom.
The kitchen is recently renovated and fully equipped - breakfast bar/island and bulletin board of favorite S.C. quotes to boot.
You'll find queen beds in all the rooms each room named after Alexis, David, Johnny & Moira, with extra blankets and lots of cotton sheets and charging cables for all your devices.
Several desks/work tables in the home to work or study while on the road.
Here in our space you'll find mid century modern furniture and lighting, vintage decor art on the walls and lots of love in the details.
Relax in the living room and watch the big flatscreen tv in the built in shelving- better yet read one of the many well loved books lining the shelves.
Play a vintage record on the record player and dance under the MCM chandelier.
Tons of closet space in each bedroom, a walk in closet in the upstairs suite and an ironing board and iron can be found in the downstairs closet next to the bathroom.
Both full bathrooms are equipped with ample storage and counter space as well as towel bars and hooks.
Have dinner and drinks out on the huge covered back deck- such a delicious spot for morning coffee or an evening meal.
Should you need to do some laundry we have a new washer and dryer in the closet off the kitchen.
The small cottage in matching red paint behind the backyard fence is also available for rent was the main house for this artists' cottage. If you have a large group considering taking both places over. We have a fence dividing the back yard garden so you can feel the privacy of having your own separate entrance, parking and yard.
You'll find little hidden odes to our favorite show, throughout the space (which will hopefully continue snowballing over time) - even the bedroom names pay tribute.

It is an urban neighborhood and not the suburbs.
The homes are close and although fenced in, you'll hear folks talk as they walk or bike by, dogs barking in neighboring yards or walking by, etc.
With the help of interior designer and co-owner, we've laid out the space in a way that maximizes your comfort and creates a relaxing vibe.
The second floor suite was originally an artist studio and the stairway has open shelving next to it for an open air feel - there is a railing and these are old and sturdy stairs and we've provided lots of lighting.
Lots of cables for charging all the devices are provided on each night stand. We are seasoned Airbnb hosts so you'll find us accommodating and we are excited about adding both the Rosebud Bungalow and Rosebud Cottage, aka Stevie's Cottage (the little red house you see behind the back fence) retreats to our housing options in Plaza Midwood! Guest access
Guests have private access to all 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, common areas, laundry room, and back yard. The detached garage and locked owners closet are not available to guests. Plenty of parking is available on the street, the driveway is not available for parking.

Self-entry via electronic lock, meaning quick easy access for everyone in the group. An early check-in may be requested, and will be accommodated if possible.

Other things to note
The home is friendly to both pets and small children, pending they are house trained :). If pets will be in the property over 1 week, MyTripify reserves the right to require guests to purchase travel insurance.


We provide starter supplies, enough for 3-4 day stays. It will be up to the guest to replenish those supplies for extended stays.

The minimum age to book the property is 25 years old.

If the booking party is under 25, they may submit the ID of any guest who will be staying at the property. If no guest meets the age requirement, MyTripify reserves the right to collect a refundable* $1000 security deposit. Alternatively, the reservation may be canceled based on the regular cancellation policy, and the guest will be refunded according to the listing's cancellation policy.

*If an additional security deposit is collected, it will be refunded after the guest checks out and the house is inspected for any damage. In case of damages, the amount required to repair or replace the damaged items will be deducted from the security deposit.

MyTripify uses a rental agreement with each reservation to clearly outline and protect your rights and responsibilities.

Once traveler information is confirmed, a completed version of the rental contract will be sent via email. Per the NC Vacation Rental Act, signature on this agreement, or payment of money, or taking possession of the property after receipt of the agreement is evidence of your acceptance of the agreement and your intent to use the property for a vacation rental.

Your stay is very important to us! Please read through the following house rules. Any breach is subject to a fine.

To ensure safety and security each guest is required to complete the check-in form including a valid government ID. Non complete or inaccurate information in the arrival form will result in a termination of your stay without refund.

Check-in and Checkout
Check-in is at 5:00 PM (unless purchased prior day($99 + Booking platform fees); early check-in is at 1:00 PM)
Check-out is at 11:00 AM

Check-in times have been adjusted due to COVID-19 cleaning protocols.

Early check-in may be requested and will be accommodated if possible.

Holdover past checkout will result in a $250 fee, and does not entitle the guest to any extension of the rental period.

Quiet Enjoyment
You have the right to quiet enjoyment of the property during your stay, we ask that you please do not disturb the rights of the neighbors. Only guests from the booking are allowed on the premises, and no parties are permitted whatsoever. Any disturbance of the neighbors will result in a $400 fine as well as the termination of your stay without refund.

Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM, at which point noise should be kept at reasonable levels.

Access to the Home
Enjoy private access to the entire home, aside from the locked owner’s closet. The detached garage and the locked area of the back yard are off limits. There are signs at the property noting the restricted area which is being monitored. Trespassing in any restricted areas will result in a $450 fine and termination of the remainder of the stay.

To keep belongings safe and secure, be sure to lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.

Pets
Pets are permitted on the property ONLY when disclosed and approved before check-in. Any undisclosed pets will result in a $350 fine. No cats are allowed on the premises.
Please keep pets off furniture and beds. Any breach will result in additional cleaning charges up to $300.
Pet owners wanting to bring pets must disclose the type of pet, breed, name, and age (3 pets maximum). Pending approval, the exact count needs to be added to the reservation prior to check in. If pets will be in the property for more than 1 week, MyTripify requires guests to purchase travel insurance.
Pet owners are expected to clean up after all pets including waste in the back yard and surrounding neighborhood. Any damages done by pets will be charged to the guest.

Parking
Parking is available only on the street, with a maximum of 4 cars. Any driving or parking on the lawn or grass area is prohibited and will result in a $300 fine.

Smoking
No smoking is allowed inside the home. Smoking is permitted outside on the deck and in the backyard. All remnants must be properly disposed of outside to prevent any smell inside the home. If the house smells of smoke or if remnants are found inside the house a smoking fee will be issued of $500.

Damages
Any damages done to the property must be reported immediately. Additional damages caused by neglect or negligence will be charged to the guest.

Excessive Trash
All Trash is removed including but not limited to unused food from the refrigerator and cabinets. Kitchen and bathroom trash bags are taken outside to the large receptacles. All trash should fit into the outside receptacles or should be disposed of by the guest prior to checkout. Any trash that does not fit into the outside receptacles will incur an additional of $75 per bag.

Internet Usage
By using the internet provided at any MyTripify property, you agree to our Internet Policy as follows.

MyTripify is not responsible for material viewed or downloaded by users from the internet including but not limited to illegally copyrighted material such as movies, music, or other digital media. Doing so will result in a fine of $500 per occurrence. Additionally you agree to Indemnify and hold harmless MyTripify for any damages caused by illegal internet use.

Welcome Home to an unbeatable location!! This iconic Victorian Farmhouse is right at the heart of Plaza Midwood at Thomas and Central Aves, in one of Charlotte’s most hip neighborhoods. Park the car and walk along with the locals and their pups to shops, yoga, quaint coffee houses and great restaurants.

The space
The neighborhood is awesome! It’s friendly, diverse, safe and close to everything. You may even run into a celebrity - Bill Murray, Bob Dylan, Lenny Kravitz, Woody Harrelson, Dave Chappelle, Justin Timberlake, Mick Jagger and Barack Obama have all visited.

Expand your adventures into neighboring NoDa and Uptown with the “36 hours in Charlotte NC” NY Times travel plan. Each are a couple miles away -- a short Uber. Check out “CharlotteFive” and "Charlottesgotalot" for more local events.


This house is a clean, comfortable, economical stay for groups of 10.

In the main house, sit on the large, wrap-around front porch. There is plenty of room to socialize while saying hi to the neighbors walking by. Or have an intimate breakfast at the bistro table.

You can choose to retreat to the privacy of the large screened porch at the back of the house to take a nap on the day bed or gather everyone for more relaxation out of doors with plenty of extra seating.

The house has enough rooms and real beds to suit large groups. There are 4.5 bedrooms, including a cozy bed nook with twin bed. There are 2 living rooms – one up and one down. The upstairs living room has a full mattress incorporated into 2 chaise lounges to sleep 1. There are 3 full Bathrooms, a reading/cocktail area; a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen and a huge dining table for family meals and games.

Originally built in 1920, it is one of the older houses in Charlotte and is located in the Plaza Midwood Historic district. In 2010, it was fully renovated and enlarged - adding the second story, increasing the footprint of the house and adding a large screened porch in the rear. In 2019, a further five-year renovation of the property completed including the house interior being professionally designed.

The addition of the new 8’foot horizontal fence with sound barrier separates the house from the City bustle without feeling like a fortress.

The house has 6 beds to sleep 10 people very comfortably. The house is in an urban area and neighborhood so some noise is to be expected. Each bedroom has its own white-noise machine for a restful night’s sleep, keeping the City at bay.

The linens were chosen from the Biltmore Estate in nearby Asheville, NC for their luxurious feel and comfort and are 100% Egyptian cotton. All mattresses and pillows enclosed in protective covers. Towels also provided by the Biltmore.

The toiletries were hand-chosen from Beekman 1802. Theirs is a wonderful story of a small goat farm in New York. Their handcrafted products are locally sourced from their artisan community which supports over +300 makers and craftspeople and their products can be found in many boutique hotels.

WiFi, Netflix and Amazon Prime services included. For Sports, recommend enjoying with a group at one of many different restaurants and bars.

Order your groceries online before you arrive and have them hand-delivered to your car. No need to waste precious vacation time on grocery shopping. Instructions to order and pickup for the Harris Teeter 1 block away included welcome email upon booking.

The house is for groups and has everything on site to prepare and serve group meals. You are welcome to use any spices or condiments in the kitchen.

The main house has a driveway (single lane) with enough parking for 2 large vehicles or 3 small. Additional parking is on the street out front (recommend to fold in driver’s side mirror and don’t leave valuables in the car).

No smoking inside the house but permitted on the porches.

*Indoor gym with large doors/windows on two sides for tons of light, a/c, bathroom and shower, t
towels. Includes Peloton, Smith machine that can work the entire body, bar bell, dumbbells, kettle
bells, jump boxes, Bosu ball, stability ball, yoga mats, blocks, various size foam rollers.

We live nearby so we are available, if needed!

We maintain a safe & pleasant neighborhood with onsite security. There cameras are located (ring front doorbell, front of house, back of house and top of garage)

Please do not drive over the back lawn or park on it. $500 fine for breaking this policy to reseed and fix the garden.

Pets - 2 pet limit. $125 per pet nonrefundable fee.

Pet supplies provided in Mud room: waste removal bags, bowls, 2 small beds, wipes and towels
Please pick up your pets' waste and do not allow pets on the furniture or beds. If they are not trained, please put blankets on furniture. $400 fine for not obeying pet rules.

Smoking
This is a non-smoking house. Guests can smoke outdoors (not on porches) but must properly dispose of any cigarette butts or cigars.

$500 fine for smoking indoors.
