We actually own; not a conglomerate! Enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea in this charming 850sf basement suite in a historic Charlotte neighborhood. Just walking distance to Symphony Park and Southpark Mall. Neighborhood access to the Greenway and miles of bike trails. Great places to eat/drink all around. Sit in the swing & watch the birds & squirrels play in Brier Creek in the back, or have breakfast beneath the covered deck . Private entrance & closed off from the main house. Queen bedroom, attached bath, living room, & laundry access (on request). Play shuffleboard, play a board game, or watch Amazon Prime on the comfy couch by the fireplace. Full blowup mattress available on request. Small frig/freezer, sink, microwave, coffeemaker, etc. Full bathroom opens up to the private bedroom and to the main living area. Full laundry room for you to use on request.
Full finished basement with a walk out covered patio where you can enjoy grilling out while you overlook Brier Creek. This is a 2-story house. We live upstairs and have closed in a completely separated space for your privacy. Please note that you might hear us jostling around or coming in/out of the garage.
The back yard is always in bloom and beautiful. Very peaceful setting. Please feel free to wash and dry your clothes in our laundry room upon request. You can request for me to light up the gas fireplace and play board games on the big coffee table or watch a movie on Amazon Prime. Good WiFi signal.
You will be able to access the full basement with your own key. Entrance is in the back of the house. You can park out front and walk down the driveway (pretty steep!) around back (gate is open), or pull around back to park under the deck at the basement entrance. Please don’t park behind the garage. Careful if pulling around as the gate entrance is narrow. Also, careful pulling in and out of the driveway as there is a pretty big dropoff...just go slow. The door to access upstairs is locked.

Please let me know if you need the full blowup mattress, cornhole set, or fireplace pilot lit. Amazon Prime available on Firestick. Fire extinguisher is located under the bathroom sink.
Double cul-de-sac street, quiet neighborhood, that backs up to Brier Creek. Neighbors are friendly and sociable, and everyone walks their dogs in the neighborhood.
There are 2 keys in the lockbox- please leave one in there for emergencies. Please jumble the numbers after closing the lockbox.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located townhome in a quiet community. The location is in South Charlotte, between Ballantyne/Pineville/Matthews. It is ideal for work travelers, visiting family, or just enjoying what our great city has to offer. Lots to do in the area, including McMullen Creek Greenway across the street with miles of walking/running/biking, and has great restaurants & shopping within walking distance.
The Location:
Our place is convenient to highways for getting around the city. Less than 20 minutes to the airport,15 minutes to "uptown" center city Charlotte, 10 minutes to Pineville, Southpark, Matthews, and 5 minutes to Ballantyne. This is a suburban area, most will travel by car. There are two shopping centers with restaurants, grocery stores, and various shops with 5-10 minute walks in each direction. Uber and Lyft are also readily available 24/7. Meals can be delivered by Uber Eats, Door Dash, and Grubhub from countlaess nearby great eats.
The Space:
The full townhome is available for guest use. It is a two story home. The master suite takes up the entire second floor with an attached full bathroom and an open floor plan to the stairway. The second bedroom is downstairs with another full bathroom nearby. The home has a well-appointed kitchen with stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Also on the main floor is a dining room with 6 person table, and an outdoor patio with comfortable seating and a large umbrella. Also in the unit is a washer/dryer combo. The community features a shared pool, just steps from the back patio (currently closed for the season).
Guest Access:
Guests will have use of the entire townhome. First floor has kitchen, dining room, great room, bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs has the master bedroom and bathroom. We also have a furnished patio with seating for 6, and a gas grill. Guests may also use the community pool at no charge, a 30 second walk from the patio (available between Memorial Day and Labor Day).
Other Things to Note:
There are two designated parking spots a few steps from the front door, and ample guest parking is also very close by. The fireplace seen in pictures is strictly decorative and is not for use. The pool is now closed for the season and will re-open in the summer. Overnight guests must be 25 years or older, or legal dependents of the responsible parties, per our insurance requirements. There are two exterior cameras on-site for the security of our guests, similar to Ring doorbells. They are both active and record video and sound when triggered by motion or noise. One is at the entrance and facing the front door. The second is on the patio and covers the back entrance. There are no cameras inside. We only review this exterior footage when there is a safety issue or if house rules are broken. Your privacy and safety are what’s most important to us.

The back door walks out to a patio area for relaxing outdoor time . Beautiful area for walking with sidewalks and upscale lanterns up and down the roads leading into the Carmel Heights community. In addition, there is a common green area out your front door in the center of the community.

There were glue trap for mice on the kitchen floor, only 4 towels for 8 people (discussed the number of people coming prior to arriving) and smelled of smoke and weed the whole time we were there. We think it may have been the neighbors? It was fine for a quick stay, but don’t recommend it as a vacation away from home." - "We were looking forward to a getaway here. The place itself was very neat and clean but the main reason we booked was the advertised jacuzzi. It was broken all but one of the days of our stay.
