Even taking extra precautions to ensure that the front door lock and your room lock is secure, and you have your own parking spot. The house was close to shopping, and it was easy to get to work as I was out of town for a job. The bed was comfortable, I had one of the rooms with my own bathroom, and the kitchen was shared. There were other guests there, and all were friendly. We socialized, talked over dinner, and everyone retired to their rooms. Was a pleasant experience. "

The house is 800 square feet and includes a queen bed in the loft, (up one flight of stairs) a fold out couch on the main level, a full kitchen, sitting area and bathroom. We also have a washer/dryer combo for your convenience. Relax on the deck and watch the wildlife and a resident eagle. A gas BBQ is available for your use.

- "We enjoyed our time in the little lake cottage. It is very private even though it is amongst some larger homes. We felt very safe as it was in a small gated part of the neighborhood. There is one parking spot provided right next to the cottage. It is quite clean and well stocked with all necessities and includes a small washer/dryer combo unit and window a/c units both upstairs and downstairs. The private dock is a nice place to take in the sunsets and watch the wildlife. There is easy access to a walking path and a nice beach park within a quarter mile. The owner is quick to respond to any questions and very helpful. We stayed 4 weeks and got to know our way around the area pretty well. There are many options for experiencing the various cities and nature areas close by and having the cottage as our home base was perfect. We definitely would stay here again."

The Atelier is a light and airy 400 SF studio with birchwood cathedral ceilings and skylights in a private backyard. A wonderful place for sleeping and dreaming! Pull the sheer curtains across the sliding glass doors so you can see out but no one can see in. There is no AC but we can offer fans to place inside if needed. Absolutely perfect for me - close to coffee shops and the cool shops in Hillman City/Columbia City neighborhood. Short walk to the light rail and 10 minute stroll to my daughter's house. The studio is bright and comfortable with a fully-stocked kitchen. And Nancy had good fresh local half-and-half along with oat milk to pair with the coffee provided.
