The place is walking distance from salesforce terminal as well as bart and ferry stations. Embarcadero BART station is 5 minutes and salesforce terminal is 10 minutes walk away. Ferry stations to tibouran, sausalito, oakland, etc are only 10 minutes walk from the place. If you have a car, there is usually parking on the street. However, since this is the heart of San Fransisco, I would recommend to buy a parking permit from out building in advance to your arrival.

At almost 2000 square feet of living space, it is the largest loft in this historic building and is very unique. The interior features exposed brick and timber accents and offer direct access to a two-story central courtyard. With stunning, 18-foot vaulted ceilings, it also has a huge front window that fills the main living area with natural light; a large custom automated fish aquarium, and the historic original steel fire door.

This exceptional loft also has a spacious gourmet kitchen with premium Wolf, Viking, Miele, and SubZero appliances, not to mention a temperature-controlled wine cellar! The large executive-style home office has two desks and features plenty of built-in maple cabinetry plus filing cabinets for your use during your stay. Parking is not an issue at this location as there are an abundant amount of spaces, which is perfect for loading/unloading, quick errands, and down time. Do take note that the limit is one hour of street parking. Overnight paid parking lots are just a couple blocks away .For our guests’ convenience, we’re happy to assist with obtaining a resident guest temporary parking permit from SFMTA for $20 per day. that will allow you to parking freely on the street without limits. This is also on a first come first serve basis so if you are interested please message me for additional details

**Please note that car break-ins are very common all throughout SF. To limit car break-ins please remember to remove all valuables and leave nothing in the car that is visible. We will not be reliable for any damages or anything that happens to your car.

Bathroom:

Additionally, if you want to leave your luggage until after the 11 AM checkout time, feel free to leave it in the storage space until you need to go.

I am a full time driver so I will be in and out of the house with flexible hours so you may catch glimpses of me. Regardless my Co-host Cindy and I will always be available for whatever questions you may have so expect to hear from either of us!

The space
We live here full time when we’re not traveling, so this is a home we’ve lovingly equipped for our (and your!) enjoyment.

Our stunning open floor plan loft spreads across 3 levels.

The “main” level is where you’ll find the living room area, dining area, home office space, a full-sized Murphy bed, two full bathrooms, a laundry closet, and the kitchen. On top of the stainless steel appliances, the kitchen includes an island and (almost) all of the cooking implements you could desire – from an Instant Pot to a food processor, a zester to a cocktail shaker, we’ve got you covered (I love to cook!).

The working area is equipped to make for the best remote work experience – adjustable height desk, standing mat to keep your feet from getting tired (and chair for when you get lazy), lighting to make sure you look your best on Zoom, and blazing fast wifi (90 mbps). Above it all you’ll find stunning open bookshelves with a rolling library ladder stocked with board games to play, novels and nonfiction to read, and local hiking and walking books to explore.

Half a flight up, you’ll find the “mezzanine” level bedroom, with a top-of-the line king mattress and pillows, walk-in closet, and a smart TV with multiple subscriptions you are free to use. As the apartment is a loft, the bedroom looks over the main level and has the same stunning views of the Bay that you’ll see from the living and dining area.

Up the spiral staircase is our “top” floor – it’s a cozy, practical and versatile space that accommodates more remote work, exercise, or just relaxation. With French doors that open out to our private roof deck this room includes a full daybed, a tall table perfect for working, a rocking chair, and a workout bar with weights, and yoga props. The landing is completely visually isolated from the rest of the apartment so it makes for a great second bedroom and focused work spot.

Finally, outside the French doors you’ll find one of our favorite spots in the unit – our private roof deck with sweeping views of the Bay. The patio includes a bar table with 4 stools. Head up in the morning with a hot cup of tea or in the evening with a glass of wine to watch the sun set.

Note: This home is a loft, which means that there are no doors separating the living spaces - the bathrooms have doors, of course :). It makes for a beautifully open, urban space but it does mean that you’ll want to bring noise-canceling headphones if multiple people are working from home.
