- "The best thing was parking. It was super easy. As long as no other car take up the designated parking spot in front of the grass (which no one did). I rented a car, and I mean, if you're visiting the Bay Area you should rent a car. The main issue I had was that the shower drain was clogged. Other than that, it's a studio and felt like a studio. It was also a bit annoying that there was a sign that you could only use 1 of each of the following at a time: the coffee machine, the microwave, and one other appliance. If used more than 1, it could trip up the electricity, which was weird. That needs to be fixed. The last thing was that the floor wasn't super clean, but I have really high standards and vacuum my own place multiple times per week. "

Daly City is centrally situated close to San Francisco International Airport (SFO and downtown San Francisco), and has easy accessibility to the Bay Area's rapid transit network and highway system. An ideal location for an overnight rest during a longer California vacation or business trip. It's a 10-15 minute drive from my home to the airport.
We are centrally situated in a safe, beautiful quiet residential neighborhood yet with close access to wonderful neighborhoods and anything else you could want in SF.
Street Parking is free. Please don't block anyone's driveway.
Westlake Village is an ethnically diverse neighborhood with a broad mix of young families and working professionals. We are within a 5-minute walk of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and a library (and horse rides on the beach...). The 120 and 122 SamTrans bus lines provide good transit connectivity with the rest of the Bay Area -- bus stops are just minutes from my front door.
Westlake Shopping Center is a 5 minute walk from the house where you can find restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, and other shops.
Stonestown Galleria is a 5 min drive/15 min walk from the house, and home to the following retailers/services:

DIRECTIONS:
From the SFO Airport, you have a few options if you will not have a car.
Option#1, Best is to use UBER or LYFT (Approx. $20-$25) directly to the house. It will take approx. 15 minutes with no traffic.
Option#2 take a taxi (Approx. $35+Tips) directly to the house.
Option#3, if you will not have too much luggage then take the BART North to Daly City Station($8 per person), then transfer to #110 SamTrans bus ($2 per person) and tell driver you want to get off at John Daly Blvd & Eastgate Dr. The house its 2 minute walk from the bus stop.
To Downtown San Francisco.
The 120, 110, and 122 SamTrans bus lines provide good transit connectivity with the rest of the Bay Area -- bus stops are just minutes from my front door. The Daly City BART Station is a 20 minute walk from the studio. Or you can take the 120 SamTrans to the BART station (5 minutes).From The Daly City BART to downtown is a 15 minutes ride.
***We have SamTram and BART schedules inside the Studio. We also provide 2 Clipper Cards for use during your stay. You can use charge money into the cards at a discounted fare for use on all public transportation in the Bay Area***
OTHER INFORMATION:
1) The house is for a Maximum of 2 guests. If you bring an extra guest without prior approval from Host there will be a $500 penalty and a $50/night/person charge. No parties allowed.
2)do not move/disturb furniture or cameras outside the house. Front door, garage and backyard cameras are on 24 hour for your security.
3) Please no shoes inside the house.
4) the door next to kitchenetteleads to the shared laundry area. The laundry area is shared with guests staying in main house. Washer and Dryer access available for guests staying more than 1 week.

MONTHLY RENTERS:
Ask host about availability of monthly rentals. If available, for more than a month an additional 1 month security deposit is required prior to arrival/checkin.

- "This is a very comfortable, clean and cozy stay for a single or couple. Apartment is connected to owners house but totally private with deck, kitchen and shower/bath. Fridge was full of water and fruit upon arrival which was really nice after a long trip! Linens, towels, rooms very clean and every comfort of home available. (Including space heaters for chilly nights!). Parking is free, (read street cleaning signs and curb your tires on hills or $28 fine!), and restaurants, shops, grocery, beach all walking distance. Zoo is 3 minute drive. Owner offered use of transit cards but we drove into San Fran and found parking no problem. (Late July) Quick access to SF airport and coastline too."

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD:
Daly City is centrally situated close to San Francisco International Airport (SFO and downtown San Francisco), and has easy accessibility to the Bay Area's rapid transit network and highway system. An ideal location for an overnight rest during a longer California vacation or business trip. It's a 10-15 minute drive from my home to the airport. We are centrally situated in a safe, beautiful quiet residential neighborhood yet with close access to wonderful neighborhoods and anything else you could want in SF. Street Parking is free. Please don't block anyone's driveway.
Westlake Village is an ethnically diverse neighborhood with a broad mix of young families and working professionals. We are within a 5-minute walk of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and a library (and horse rides on the beach...). The 120 and 122 SamTrans bus lines provide good transit connectivity with the rest of the Bay Area -- bus stops are just minutes from my front door. Westlake Shopping Center is a 5 minute walk from the house where you can find restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, and other shops. Stonestown Galleria is a 5 min drive/15 min walk from the house, and home to the following retailers/services: * Trader Joe's * Macy's * Nordstrom * Chase * Bank of America * Sports Authority * Sephora * Apple
DIRECTIONS:

From the SFO Airport, you have a few options if you will not have a car.
Option#1, Best is to use UBER or LYFT (Approx. $20-$25) directly to the house. It will take approx. 15 minutes with no traffic.
Option#2 take a taxi (Approx. $35+Tips) directly to the house.
Option#3, if you will not have too much luggage then take the BART North to Daly City Station($8 per person), then transfer to #110 SamTrans bus ($2 per person) and tell driver you want to get off at John Daly Blvd & Eastgate Dr. The house its 2 minute walk from the bus stop.
To Downtown San Francisco.
The 120, 110, and 122 SamTrans bus lines provide good transit connectivity with the rest of the Bay Area -- bus stops are just minutes from my front door. The Daly City BART Station is a 20 minute walk from the studio. Or you can take the 120 SamTrans to the BART station (5 minutes). From The Daly City BART to downtown is a 15 minutes ride.
***We have SamTram and BART schedules inside the House. We also provide 2 Clipper Cards for use during your stay. You can use charge money into the cards at a discounted fare for use on all public transportation in the Bay Area***

OTHER INFORMATION:
1) The house is for a Maximum of 4 guests. If you bring an extra guest without prior approval from Host there will be a $500 penalty and a $50/night/person charge. No parties allowed.
2) The locked 3rd bedroom is my private/personal space. I will not be using it while you are there. Please do not enter the space.
3) do not move/disturb furniture or cameras outside the house. Front door, garage and backyard cameras are on 24 hour for your security.
4)Please no shoes inside the house.
5) the backdoor in the kitchen leads to the shared laundry area. The laundry area is shared with guests staying in suite in the back of the house.
6) There is a 1 bedroom guest suite in back of house (completely independent from main house with their own separate entrance which is rented and you may see the guests during your stay walking in and out from backyard.
MONTHLY RENTERS:
Ask host about availability of monthly rentals and pricing. If available, for more than a month an additional 1 month security deposit is required prior to arrival/checkin.

A PRIVATE ROOM and SHARE BATHROOM. unfortunately that we can’t put too many wardrobe or hungers or any extra stuff in the room to make it like hotel, since there are limited space with 2 queen beds already ! Those are for people who want to save money for their trip only, please don’t expect to be a luxury hotel with a housekeeper for you! It’s a family share space bathroom and kitchen, so none can keep it stainless any minute especially in the morning with busy cleaning time. We are not supposed to waste our energy and utilities to give you free wash machines and wait for your complain about our messy garage with wash machines! Please don’t bother yourself with our laundry mat if you like to complain after took advantage of us! Please avoid for parking infront of any neighbors house, since it’s free for parking in this area, please don’t parking infront any neighbors near by, to be respectful please parking on the corner of Alder Ave or on Edgeworth Dr. Besides: We provided wash machine for nice and kind guests’ convenience without charge. However, just let you know that we have a cat in the garage temporarily for couple weeks where the wash machines located, if you allergic to cats please feel free to stay away from our laundrymat, and go wash your stuff outside laundry mats near by ! Please be advised the room is priced for one guest only .
