The house felt like home with little things like plenty of pots and pans. The kitchen was fabulous with a big fridge and plenty of space to cook. The house was beautiful inside and out. We would loved to have seen the house in the spring. The washer and dryer was upstairs which was convenient since 2 of the 3 bedrooms were on the floor. Silver Falls is an Oregon state treasure, and one of the most visited parks. Enjoy a memorable experience when you stay in this peaceful, unique place. Our hidden gem is surrounded by the forest, in the foothills of the cascade mountains, directly across from Silver Falls State Park. A short 1/2 mile walk will bring you to the North Falls parking lot, or use our pass for free parking anywhere within the state park.
The space
Enjoy your stay at our luxury suite. We chose every detail with you in mind. There’s a small living room, with a TV/DVD player, to relax after a day of hiking, and a bedroom with a queen bed. Listen to Silver Creek (across from us) from your open window. The couch pulls out into a queen sized bed, as well.
Guest access
Guests have complete use of driveway in front of their private entrance. No more than two vehicles on the property. Use of side yard to the left of the apartment, up the concrete stairs. Back yard is private, family use only.
Other things to note
We do not have a kitchen, but we do have a kitchenette, complete with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee/keurig pot, hot water kettle, and toaster. Dishes, silverware, and other utensils provided. Dishes and mugs are microwave safe. There is a gas grill outside, for guest use. Please do not bring/use hot plates, instant pots, crockpots or any other type of cookware.

Located in the Mid Willamette Valley is an charming Alpaca Farm getaway. The apartment has its own private entrance, king size bed, kitchenette, and a patio to view the colorful sunsets. The farm is located centrally so Portland, Detroit Lake, Eugene, and the Pacific Ocean are just a hour away. Enjoy all the adventures and amenities the Willamette Valley has to offer. Great for the business traveler with a place to work and very strong wifi. Looking for a lovely romantic getaway for the weekend, or a staycation, Swing in the hammock chairs, hand feed the alpacas or help us walk the alpacas around the property We invite you to our little piece of paradise. We absolutely love animals but no pets are allowed as the alpacas regard them as predators.

One of the sweetest parts of the visit, aside from the fresh bouquet of farm-raised dahlias, was a hen who would hang out with us when we relaxed outdoors. She quietly clucked to us as we had our wine in the evenings and drank our coffee in the mornings. As an extra wonderful bonus, we visited the alpacas which included two pregnant females and two babies, one only a week old. Our hosts were perfect."

A family-built 2014 house of ~3000 square feet to provide plenty of space for relaxation. It sleeps 14 and can handle more if needed. Nestled on the banks of the North Santiam River, it provides waterfront views and access for swimming, rafting, kayaking, or fishing.

The house is fully furnished and waiting for you! The first floor contains a master bedroom and master bath, with jacuzzi bathtub and shower. Upstairs you will find 3 large bedrooms with spacious closets and queen sized beds. All rooms include a dresser and walk in closet.

Also upstairs is 1 large bonus bedroom with 4 built in bunk beds plus a queen bed and a divan for kids. The bonus bedroom has a unique feature -- a hobbit door for an entry. Round, functional and fun, it is sized for the little people including a peephole. The room is decorated with Hobbit and Lord of the Rings posters and items to add magic to a child's imagination. There is also a stock of toys there for kids of all ages. There is a standard fire door for adult/emergency ingress and egress.

2 full baths upstairs and 1.5 baths downstairs keeps everyone happy. Bathrooms are already stocked with normal toiletries.

Throughout the house you will find bookshelves with books and/or movies to entertain. A smaller TV upstairs will let the kids watch videos or play on the PS2. Downstairs a large 55" TV provides adult viewing options, with both DVD and Blu-Ray capabilities along with a Netflix account. The house has wifi with 5G speed for internet devices and browsing.

The kitchen is fully outfitted including incidental supplies and condiments. Includes a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator and 2 deep sinks for ease of use. Cupboard contain a full set of dishes, glassware , silverware, cookware and standard spices for dining/cooking in. An ultra quiet dishwasher will handle the mess while everyone enjoys the activities on the first floor. The large island, with 4 bar stool chairs, create a casual eating place if desired.

The great room contains a 12-person dining room table made from polished classic barnwood with matching benches, giving a great feel of country living. Next to it is a small kid-sized table with an inlaid chess/checker board and four chairs. There are additional tables/chairs in a nearby closet for even larger groups.

The room continues to a large sectional couch, recliner, area rug and some chairs and stools. The entire side of the house facing the river has large windows and benches with storage (puzzles and games) and cushions to allow river viewing while relaxing, and plenty of seating. A gas fireplace completes the cozy room.

Outside in the back is a concrete patio with quite a bit of seating, and was recently expanded to wrap around to form another river viewing area on the side of the house as well. If interested, pull the full size BBQ out from the garage and connect it to the propane outlet built into the house for grilling up a quick bite or slow roasting steaks.

Feel free to grab the rafts, paddles and life vests out of the garage for a trip down the river (standard run to a nearby state park takes 90-120 minutes and runs through about 6 rapids, most Class 2 and one Class 3). Or perhaps fishing is your way of relaxing -- grab the poles and tackle box from the garage and see if you can land a steelhead or rainbow trout.

Any visitor will be drawn to the river, with its relaxing hum and cheerful water swirls. It is shallow enough along the bank to allow easy swimming and wading for younger kids but wide enough to allow the rafters and kayakers to slide by with no more disturbance than a wave from the bank. Grab a chair and rest your feet in the cool water, perhaps skip some rocks or just relax and watch the water.

A rope swing on an apple tree and the nearby fire pit (with firewood cut close by) round out the outdoor items. See if the kids can find the secret fairy door hidden somewhere along the base of the house...

Mill City is a quiet town in the foothills of the Cascades and near multiple hikes, parks, and recreational opportunities. Many choices and some legendary pizza distinguish this hidden gem of a community.

- "Very peaceful and would stay there again! " - "Very quiet and lovely view " - "Wish we could have stayed longer! " - "I liked the privacy aspect and the layout of the big tiny house. There was sufficient coffee, creamer, and sweeteners. There was a tea selection, although it was small. There was cold, bottled water, and sodas in the fridge when we arrived and a water filter with cold water in the fridge, which was awesome. However, the kitchen was not well supplied. I could not find the items I needed to cook. Also, during our stay they had the septic tank pumped which was very unpleasant and smelly. Sitting on the porch, looking out was nice, but in my peripheral vision were solar panels, a huge pile of dead wood, and in the morning there were workers spraying chemicals in the fields. Also, this is advertised as a lavender farm, but there was no lavender visible from the big tiny house. The TV was also very tiny, and had Roku. I had to use my own accounts for Netflix and Max to be able to watch anything decent without commercials. However, all in all it was way better than a hotel but there’s definite room for improvement."

The entire house including deck and gazebo overlooking Bilyeu Creek are available to guests. French doors open to patio access from the master bedroom, the living room, and the office. There is a Traeger grill, picnic table and lawn chairs available for patio enjoyment.

The home is located on our family's privately owned 700 acre tree farm. This ranch was The National Tree Farm Winner in the year 2002. There are lakes, a fish hatchery, and an antique museum to view only with pre-arranged guided tours as optional. It is a working ranch so guests are asked to not wander through without a guide for guests safety as well as respect for owners. Hiking on the gravel roads up the mountain is not advised during any logging season. However the neighborhood has ample road ways that many enjoy hiking, jogging, and cycling; which is encouraged in order to enjoy the lovely area. Most of the surrounding properties are privately owned and require no trespassing.

Interaction with guests

We would love to meet our guests in person and answer any questions that can help make your stay more comfortable. If guests need to arrive at hours we cannot do so, it's quite easy for our guests to enter with our keypad entry at the noted arrival time requested. There is adequate outdoor lighting for late night arrivals. We would love to get a text when you've arrived, and have a plan for a time to meet you when convenient. We'd also appreciate being notified when you are actually closing the door for the ending of your stay. We'll have a house manual with internet access code and other information you'll appreciate having on site for instructions on operating the home. Your hosts live at the next property not five minutes away and are readily available to address any questions or concerns. The homes you share the main driveway with are not your hosts. Please contact us directly, we are happy to accommodate special requests as we can. Weekly cleaning and linen laundry services are available for additional negotiable fees.

With futon in office and deluxe queen air mattress, we can host up to 6 guests. Master bath includes jetted tub, enclosed shower and large walk-in closet with linens and hangers included. Large laundry room with front-loading washer and dryer and craft area. We have an elliptical machine and stationary bike for use in laundry room as well. Kitchen nook table in bay window overlooks flower bed. Pantry is initially fully stocked with staples such as coffee, teas, spices, and various condiments, as well as some canned and dry goods. Guests are responsible for pantry restocking for extended stays. The office also has some basic office supplies. A hospitality basket of personal hygiene supplies is available for your needs.

The beds were comfortable and it’s always great to have 2 separate full bathrooms. The kitchen was perfect for making meals. The land the house sits on is stunning. The space
This little apartment is a converted living space in a historic 1930s barn on a working apple farm.

The patio area is shared with the entrance to our little barn store. The store is open on Fridays and Saturdays from August to November so there may be customers walking around the front and side of the building to access our store and our public restroom. Other days of the week the barn area is only used by our family as we work.

This is a working farm so you may encounter tractor noises and other equipment sounds during the morning and early evening.

The living area right inside the entrance has ample seating for couples or a small group of 4. Roku entertainment center and games will keep you occupied.

The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils, dishes, mixing bowls, baking trays, and a few pantry essentials.

Relax in the shower with the removable shower head after a day of travel or hiking. Makeup removal cloths, fresh towels, hair dryer, and curling iron all stocked.

Enjoy a cozy bedroom with a queen size bed and very comfortable mattress. Light sconces by the bed have a phone holder and usb charging port. There are two steps up into the bedroom with a handle on the wall for support.

Take a walk around the farm and enjoy the beautiful apple orchard. This farm was a homestead in the 1860s.

We get the most beautiful sunsets here. Enjoy an evening walk for the view or just watch it from your kitchen window.

- "This place is a total home run. You pull through the locking gate and immediately see how much parking space there is. Plenty of room for all your cars, trailers, RVs, whatever. And the pull through driveway is easy to get around the entire thing with room for multiple family cars. You then walk into the entryway and are immediately floored by the elegance and beauty of this home. As you walk through the hallway into the great room style kitchen and dining area, you cannot help but gasp at the incredible river views that continue as you walk out onto the roomy and lovely deck. Trust me when I say you will want to stay here all day. The rooms are perfect for large families and the master is really nice. Bunk beds in one, and a selection of beds upstairs. The showers are nice, the kitchen is fantastic and the game room is where we gravitated later when the night got chilly. The vintage video game consoles are cool, pool tables are a ton of fun and the tv is large and high quality. The river access is steep, especially for little kiddos but its very high quality and the owners have done everything they could to make it safe and easy to get to the river. We had quite a few kayakers and stuff like that going by. Tons of fun! I can't say enough about how great this place is. Book it!!"

So at midnight I contacted customer service, and they contacted the host. Suddenly I received an email stating that our stay for the following day was canceled due to the property being sold. Yep, our reservation for a holiday weekend was accepted well in advance and then canceled 15 hours before check-in on a holiday weekend. TERRIBLE HOST!"

This apartment is located just blocks from the Santiam hospital in Stayton Oregon. Bedrooms are large, one has a King and 2nd has a double. This basement Living room is giant, two sliding glass doors lead out to beautifully landscape 3 acres of gardens. The bathroom has a step in shower and a full size sauna, that smells amazing. The kitchen is very large and inside that area is a dining room table and one of the sliding glass doors that leads out on the gardens. Private entrance.

The space
NOTE:
Effective summer 2025 our upgrades on the cabin persist. Some finish work remains. As a result you may notice some work in progress. We've priced accordingly and all construction activities will be completely paused during your stay! Adding paved parking, fire pit, and outdoor seating soon.

288 sq feet, the cabin includes a bathroom with shower. A kitchenette complete with hotplate, microwave, mini-fridge/freezer, sink, utensils. Perfect to reheat any leftovers. Full meals are not recommended as it's not full size. Great for microwave eats and take-out reheats.
Outdoor bbq available.

The living space includes a single-sized couch-bed (not recommended for adults) and 48" flat screen TV with streaming service.

The bedroom is studio style down the hall from the living area and bathroom, but does NOT have a privacy door (think studio) separating it from the rest of the cabin. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and space heater. A portable air conditioner(seasonal) keeps it cool to your liking.

Check in with keypad. Very safe family oriented neighborhood with diversity of all aspects.

Guest access
Guests self check into the cabin with access to (2) parking spaces and the front porch. The cabin shares property with our main house. Your stay is private, with your own entrance and no shared walls. Neighbors are close. Keypad entry.

In late 2025 we're adding paved parking, fire pit, and outdoor seating area.

The cabin is on a septic system, Do not flush paper towels, food scraps, trash, rocks, fish guts, tax records, hopes or dreams, or disposable wipes. Trash service is available.

CDs and records are property of a shared service; use for adults and children over 13 please.

Very close to Hwy 22. The Shop Apartment is a small 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment built inside a shop building on our 5 acre property. The upstairs 1 and only bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunkbeds. The downstairs has no outside windows just so you know. We had a complaint about that so I wanted that to be known. It is fully fenced with a gate. You can choose to keep the gate open or close it.

The space
Calm quiet country setting. Neighbors sometimes have their horses and cattle grazing in the pasture next to ours. The space has a full bathroom, washer and dryer, mini fridge and microwave, mini oven, single induction cooktop. Newly installed deep/kitchen/shop sink downstairs. Has mini split(ductless) heat pump(heater/a/c) unit installed downstairs.

Guest access
Will have access to plenty of parking and about an acre of walking area if desired. You will have complete access to the complete shop apartment. The actual shop area is locked off.

Other things to note
We do have a dog that will be contained in his own area next to the unit. He looks scary but is very friendly. He does occasionally bark. There are also outdoor cats that will try to come into the unit if the door is left open. They are outdoor cats only and are not allowed in the unit.

A small trailer, in a quiet small town. This trailer comes fully stocked with everything you will need for your stay. You bring your clothes and food and we'll take care of the rest. Includes a 10" memory foam queen size bed (not a 74 inch RV queen like most smaller RVs). All the camping kitchen utensils are on board for your use. A single serve K-cup coffee maker, and a full bathroom with shower. The picture of the trailer is from when we were on a camping trip in Washington.

The trailer sits in our spacious back yard. We live in a quiet newer neighborhood in a town of 3100 people.

Two bedrooms with closets and empty coat hangers waiting for your clothes (no need to live out of your suitcase). One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has a bunk bed with a single on top and a full on bottom. The couch in the living room is comfortable and their is a plush self-inflating sleeping pad available if someone is sleeping on the floor.

It is a three bedroom house, but the back bedroom is locked, so only two bedrooms are included. The garage is also locked and not available for use as it has a minivan parked in it. The rest of the house and the backyard are yours. Gas fireplace, brand new coffee maker, blender, mixer, rice maker, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, internet, etc. There is a brand new 43 inch HD TV in the living room, but no cable service. Feel free to login to your Netflix or Amazon Prime (or other) app and watch movies (just make sure you log out before you leave).

Other things to note
The pilot light on the gas fireplace is on and the fire can be turned on by a small switch on the top right of the side of the fireplace. There is a code on front door to unlock, so no keys necessary. There is laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and other things around the house for your use. Games are in the bottom drawer under the TV.

The Cedar Bunkhouse is a 340 sq. ft. tiny house located in central Mill City, less than 2 blocks from a launch site on the beautiful Santiam River. Along with a cozy, fun décor and all amenities, the Bunkhouse also has an outside kitchen and dining area that seats 15. A gas fireplace on the deck and wood fire ring invites evening dinner parties. We want to make you comfortable while you kayak, raft, fish and hike, or enjoy Giovanni's Pizza and Rosie's Café 5 minutes away.

This daylight basement is a cozy space you can relax in with a large kitchen and everything you need for a home away from home. Note: this is listed as a one bedroom. If you want an extra bedroom, message when you book and we add it on for $20/night.

The living area has a couch that makes into a full bed. The large kitchen has a dining table for four and includes a dishwasher and regular sized washer dryer. The bathroom is spacious with a shower. There is a TV in both the living area and bedroom. The bedroom is spacious with a queen bed in it.

Guest access
The entire space is yours with a separate entrance through the back yard. You are welcome to use the large back yard, but it is a shared space with us. We have a pellet grill you are welcome to share (and if we are using it feel free to ask us to throw your dinner on too!). Your parking spot is right next to the house. There is a gate that usually stays closed for you to go through to get to your entrance. Extra street parking is available if needed.

Other things to note
We have a border collie (she will probably bark at you until she realizes you belong) and two friendly cats. Feel free to enjoy the cats outside all you want, but no pets are allowed in the space and they may try to sneak in with you if we aren't around to give them attention!

Great Stayton location where you are just minutes away from the hospital, groceries, downtown, and restaurants. This spacious home has everything you need to enjoy your time away, including a private back yard where you can roast hotdogs and marshmallows on the fire pit. Wi-FI, washer dryer, ample driveway and street parking available. Silver Falls State Park is just a 15 minute drive, and McDowell Creek Falls or Detroit Lake are less than 45 minutes away. Perfect for two couples or a family.

You can use everything that is not locked at the house. The back yard is completely yours, though our adult son goes through it to access his studio apartment. The cushions to the swing are located in a storage box in the yard. In the summer, someone may be there to water the yard in the heat or pick berries. We always notify you before we water or pick fruit.

Other things to note
This is a primary residence that is rented out when the occupants travel or stay in the motorhome next to the house.
As such, there are personal belongings in the master bedroom and a few other places in the house. If you only want to use one room and bathroom, please ask and we can lock the master bedroom and bathroom as the spare room is not used except by guests.

Our adult son lives in the studio behind the house, so you will see him coming and going.

Our full Cabin is solely available for our guests, which includes the outdoor privacy shower, a separate dedicated Deck overlooking the Little North Fork River. Access to a full line of River Floatables, Hammock at the River, private beach and beach chairs. As the County permits, there is also a firepit next to the Deck for our guests to use, again, by county permission only during the dry season. We also have a full professional Bocce Ball court. The Main Floor

Come in and enjoy our cozy and seasonally decorated farmhouse. Several steps leading up onto the large deck in front of the home with a covered area for visiting as well as an area that is uncovered if you'd like to enjoy the sunshine. A propane BBQ is provided. A hammock for two and a large redwood picnic table overlook the lavender field in the warmer months. There is ample, comfortable seating on the porch, which look out over two of the largest incense cedar trees in the area. Once inside the house, on the main floor, there is an open floor plan with a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is also a bathroom and the master bedroom (kingsize luxury hybrid mattress), as well as the laundry room. The kitchen has Corian countertops with plenty of elbow room for multiple chefs in the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with vintage English dishes, cookware, a KitchenAid standing mixer, two crock pots, wine glasses, a coffee maker and grinder, blender, hand-mixer, casserole dishes, french press, spices, microwave, dishwasher, oven, a hot air popcorn popper, and a waffle iron. Kid friendly dishes, cups, and cutlery is provided. Spices, common condiments and pantry baking ingredients, butter, coffee, hot cocoa, and tea are provided. The living room has an efficient mahogany ceramic pellet stove to maintain the cozy and romantic ambiance during the fall and winter months, several comfortable couches and chairs, and a large TV with an Amazon FireStick to access your online Hulu, Amazon, or Netflix entertainment. The bathroom has a detached powder room with a cast iron deep soaking tub, which is accessible through the master bedroom. Nice high quality linens and quilts, down comforters, and simple toiletries are provided. There is a laundry room with a washer, dryer, and ironing board off the kitchen. Just off the laundry room, there is a lovely enclosed sunroom with vintage porch furniture overlooking the back property. There are several comfortable wicker chairs, creating a perfect place to share a cup of tea or read your favorite book.

The Second Floor
Upstairs, there are three additional spacious bedrooms and a full bathroom. Two of the bedrooms each have a queen size bed (one with a tempurpedic mattress), a closet, and dressers. The third bedroom has one double bed (memory foam mattress) and one twin size bed, a portable crib, a rocking chair and plenty of games, toys, and books for people of all ages. There is a bathroom with a garden tub/shower and a new double sink with a marble top vanity. There are extra sheets, quilts, and sofa blankets to keep everyone comfortable during their stay.
