Welcome to our Cape Escape! This 2BR/2BA, 1250 sq ft. single level home is our long-time dream-come-true, and we hope it is the perfect place to enjoy and unwind on the Cape! The space is bright and airy with lots of windows, skylights, and recently refinished hardwood floors.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood off Rte. 28, this is the perfect getaway. The area has many wonderful routes for biking, hiking, and jogging. It is only a 5-minute walk to the peaceful Swan Pond, so be sure to bring your kayaks! Or take a short drive to one of the many family-friendly Nantucket sound beaches nearby. Our favorite is Seagull Beach (5 min drive), one of the largest beaches in Yarmouth complete with a snack bar, bathhouse, and adequate parking. Travel a little farther to Parker River Beach, with a children’s playground, snack-bar, clean bathhouse, gazebo for shade during the day, and community concerts at night. Weekly beach passes can be obtained through the Yarmouth Town website for $100/week (in season). The house is also a short 1-2 mile’s drive to many area attractions, such as bike trails, mini golf, “Best of Cape” restaurants, supermarkets, golf courses, Cape Cod Inflatable Park, and the Whydah Pirate Museum, to just name a few.

Renters will enjoy the open concept living room/kitchen/dining room that is fully apportioned. Sleep comfortably in two primary bedrooms complete with new furniture; mattresses, bedding, and Smart TVs. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a comfortable medium firm mattress, and the second bedroom has a full/double medium firm mattress. There is comfortable den with a flat screen TV that you can stream your favorite channels through a Xfinity Flex Box. There is also large capacity washer & dryer in the 2nd bathroom and linens/towels are provided.

Central A/C operated through Smart thermostats/sensors makes relaxing & sleeping indoors comfortable. 400 Mbps WIFI and a variety of USB & USB-C charging outlets throughout the house make streaming and staying connected effortless. Ring security system (exterior areas only) is to monitor property during non-use and will be deactivated during rental periods.

Catch the sunrise with your morning coffee on the Adirondack chairs on the front patio or relax and dine out on the large, fenced in, landscaped, backyard complete with cushioned patio & conversation sets. Other outdoor amenities include a newly updated deck & outdoor shower enclosure, Weber gas grill, and a vintage stone fireplace to make s’mores and keep cozy in the evening. We also have beach equipment in the large shed (umbrella, beach chairs, and coolers).

South Yarmouth - This two bedroom cottage with one bath has been tastefully updated for your enjoyment. Rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day at South Middle Beach which is located just one mile away and a short walk to mini golf, ice cream and restaurants. Primary bedroom with queen bed, second bedroom offers two twin beds and a sleep sofa in the living room. Large side yard and outdoor deck with gas grill is perfect for entertaining. Close to all amenities, and the neighborhood was peaceful despite being directly off of route 28. I would love to stay here again! The walk to the beach took us about 20 minutes and we went through adorable homes and felt very safe on our walks with limited traffic and clean neighborhoods. We loved that this was a 1 minutes walk to Skull Island minigolf, the arcade, go carts and driving range, and if our kids were old enough to be alone/cross a street they would absolutely love to be able to go there if they wanted to explore on their own! The power went out one night which was due to an issue in the area, and we were able to text the emergency number which got us a quick response with helpful information! Our only suggestions for improving would be some clarifications on some of the directions/information re: where to access entry with the key code, where the linens go at check out, and beach supplies we had access to in the shed. The only additions that would have helped would be a cutting board and more functional dressers. We did have to do some baby proofing but it was not a problem. We ultimately loved this beach house and want to build our own outdoor shower! The pamphlet with all of the recommendations was a huge help!"

It was in a great central location, close to the beaches, restaurants and the shopping that we were interested in. We especially liked watching the NBA finals on the huge TV! Michelle was very responsive when we had a question, and we'd definitely stay there again! Excellent!" - "Firstly, the listing should be corrected so that it clearly states it is only one bathroom. Additionally the listing does not mention that there are two or three other apartments within the same residence. The backyard was a construction zone and definitely not usable for children. As I sit here watching my TV and seeing a commercial for VRBO stating how you will not have strangers walking through your property I find this quite ironic since we literally had strangers walking through our backyard during our stay. There is an outdoor shower however you do have to share this with all the other residents within the building. I was quite dissatisfied with this property. Not at all what we expected."

Attached bath has a marble subway tile floor which continues into the adjoining laundry room (semi-available). No smoking, drugs or heavy drinking on the property. Parking on site. Traveling nurses & CCLeague interns desired!

Charming 2 BR House on a quiet street. Walk less than a mile (without having to cross Route 28) to enjoy the ocean surf, playground, and concessions at Parker's River Beach. Grill on the Natural Gas BBQ (no need to deal with propane tanks) on the spacious patio. And of course there's an outdoor shower.

It's an easy walk to many restaurants and attractions plus there are 15 golf courses within 15 miles.

Inside there's a wide screen TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi and central A/C.

Rentals during the Summer are full weeks only and always Saturday to Saturday. Off Season rentals are available with 3 night minimums.

Long term rentals are available Oct 15 - April 15 even if the calendar doesn't indicate availability. We do not provide snow removal but we do leave a shovel and a bag of ice melt. Trash removal is subject to negotiation. Contact us for details.

Also note: We apply a generous (40%-45%) discount to long term winter rentals. The AirBnB website may show that same discount to Spring & Summer rentals but the Spring/Summer long term discount is only 5%, sorry, it's a website issue we can't control.

The alcove "Captain's Bed" was specially designed for privacy and comfort and includes fresh sheets, blankets and pillows - both soft and sturdy - to please all types of sleepers.

The holidays are a particularly favorite time of year of ours as we transform the property into a holiday wonderland, lighting the large outdoor Christmas tree after Thanksgiving. Each cottage is tastefully decorated to celebrate the season and love when guests feel like they are in a holiday movie!

Winter provides its own charm, and has been a fine time of year for writers and artists to escape to the private and quiet sanctuary! It's the time of year to "live like a local" and enjoy the year-round restaurants and attractions!

The holidays are a particularly favorite time of year of ours as we transform the property into a holiday wonderland, lighting the large outdoor Christmas tree after Thanksgiving. Each cottage is tastefully decorated to celebrate the season and love when guests feel like they are in a holiday movie!

Winter provides its own charm, and has been a fine time of year for writers and artists to escape to the private and quiet sanctuary! It's the time of year to "live like a local" and enjoy the year-round restaurants and attractions!

“The Pink Cottage” is a charming one-bedroom private building nestled into a beautiful historic property in South Yarmouth. Enter through the pergola patio, enjoy a spacious living space with dining and kitchen area. The one-bedroom with large closet is comfortably outfitted with all linen necessities, full bath with stand-up shower. Outdoor shower just off the patio, grill and more! Very quiet and private.

The space
The living space is outfitted with a futon sofa, that can convert to a full bed, chairs, stools and tables and all the comforts of home including throw pillows, blankets and a cozy gas stove fireplace. You'll enjoy cable TV that can adapt to your streaming services and dedicated Wi-Fi for remote work days. A dining area can be expanded for visiting friends. The kitchen includes all the necessities pots, pans, dishes, bowls, toaster, full size fridge and more.

Just add food and drink and you're ready! Your bedroom with a queen-size bed and memory foam topper also includes a dresser and full closet. All your linens, sheets, towels, blankets and coverlets are ready for you to dive in!

The patio protected by a pergola - just a perfect summer cover includes outdoor dining furniture and grill and then pass through the white picket fence to your attached out door shower! A perfect ending to a fun beach day at one of our many local beaches! Beach chairs and towels are available for you too!

The Pink Cottage is located at the back of the property and snuggled into the back corner for a perfectly private get-a-way!

Guest access
The one acre property is beautifully landscaped and we often can be found pruning, weeding and keeping things up to date. A private parking area to the rear of the property easily houses parking for our three units.

Guests may enjoy all the property has to offer. Birds, bunnies and blooming flowers and trees mark each season. The tranquil Koi pond and waterfall is a great place for an evening cocktail or morning coffee. The fish are fed each morning and evening and we've enjoyed watching the faces of our young guests helping us feed the fish.

During the warmer months, corn-hole and chippo golf amenities are available for a little friendly competition. Beach chairs and beach towels are also available in-season.

The property is located within the Bass River Historical area and a short walk through the beautiful neighborhood brings you to the Judah Baker Windmill and small beach along the River. It's a special spot, often providing a beautiful backdrop for weddings and special occasions. Continue along the road down river and you'll arrive at Smuggler's Beach, just a mile from McBurns on Main.

The beauty of the location is while quiet and private, we're so close to beaches, shopping, dining, groceries, liquor stores, golf and mini-golf and central to all the Cape has to offer.

Other things to note
The Pink Cottage along with our other two cottages, The Boat House and The Jelly Shop are available year-round for guest get-a-ways. This is a 27' camper with a very spacious living area which sits on our property. This camper comes with a ton of extra's like beach towels and beach chairs, a cooler for the beach. We do live on a bit of a main road so you will hear cars going by but nothing to bad. We are close to Route 28 which is the main road on the cape and will bring you to one end of the cape to the other end.

The space
The camper has a little outside area with a small table and two chairs, a perfect spot to have morning coffee on a warm summer morning.

Guest access
We do have a fire pit that we spend a lot of evening looking at the stars and good conversations...especially talking about the Patriots and the Red Sox. You are welcome to join us for a cocktail on our deck while watching our favorite team. Or come join us at the fire pit for a smore or two! We also have an outdoor private shower. If you want to take an outdoor shower please feel free.

Other things to note
We are only a mile from the bike path if you like to take a ride and only a couple miles from Bass River and all its beaches. West Dennis beach and about 2 miles away.

You’ll have a private suite: bedroom, living room, bathroom, washer & dryer. Plus, coffee maker, dorm-size ‘fridge, picnic table, and outdoor gas grill use. The Suite/yard/neighborhood is very child-friendly, pet friendly for small dogs, & of course, laptop friendly.

Kid’s cot available... room for one child; great child-friendly, nature-nurturing area.

My home is on a very quiet circle located on Blue Rock Golf Course, a nationally award winning Par 3 golf course. The house is also easily accessible to the Cape Cod Bike Trail by bike, approximately 5 minutes, with crossing one quiet street. The trail goes for approximately 32 miles passing cranberry bogs, ocean inlets and small villages. We are approximately 1.5 miles from the Yarmouth beaches and about 50 minutes from the tip of the Cape, Provincetown.

The space
I am a Master Gardener and my specialty is Dahlias. There is always a nice quiet spot in the garden for a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Guest space consists of a bedroom (queen bed) and private bath. There is a fridge/freezer and microwave in the room. Fresh brewed coffee, breakfast bars and fruit will be available in the main kitchen at 6:30 AM. Use of the main kitchen can be available upon request.

During your stay
I am delighted to share my home with people and will respect their privacy. I am a recently retired English Professor and have lived on the Cape most of my life. I am quite well informed of the history of the Cape including our famous pirate,Black Sam Bellamy. The Whydah Museum,the only pirate ship ever to be discovered and be proven to be authentic about 1 mile from my house. It was captained by Bellamy.
