Lunch and dinner options include salads, fruits, hot freshly cooked food including pizza, fish and meat. An array of desserts/ice cream. Snack bar running throughout the day and two bars to get drinks. We were never disappointed with the food. I have a very fussy child and whilst he ate chips practically every day, he always had something different with them. Facilities Great pool area for kids. Be warned, should you choose to reserve your sunbed with towel, it’s likely they will be removed by staff if you are not on the premises. There an ample beds, you will always get one, just might not be where you want. Playground, football/basketball court. Kids club with lots of activities. My kids are 10 and 6 and had plenty to keep them entertained. Service 20 euros to use the safe which is already in the room. Staff very friendly. Loads of staff everywhere and always cleaning. Area Well placed, not in a very busy area but close enough to walk to shops and the beach. Only downside, long transfer from airport. all adults have to pay a ‘visitors’ tax. Works out to be 9 euros each, not a fortune but I knew nothing about it before arriving. "

- "Simply excellent. We booked a full week at the Marconia, staying in a 2 bed with our young child and a friend and found the whole experience wonderful. From the clean, spacious, and elegantly designed rooms to the beautiful pool area with beautiful landscaping and soft jazz - we couldn't have asked for more. The hotel is located in the bustling heart of L'Estartit's old town, which is great for access to the long sandy beach, marina, shops, weekly market and restaurants, however you wouldn't know it from the peace and quiet you experience the minute you enter the building. The rooms were cleaned daily and the AC kept the whole place comfortable whilst the heat raged outside. Cocktails served by the poolside made everything that bit sweeter! The only point to be aware is that the 2 bed flat is open plan,with a mezzanine main bedroom and a single room located off the living room but with no door. This was fine for us but light sleepers may need to check if other flats provide more separation. "

Lying above the city you have a fantastic view over the village and of course to the sea and over the bay from Rosas to Ampuriabrava, La Escala and the fishing and marina. The view goes to the right over the Pyrenees with the Sierra Cadi (about 3000 m high). It is particularly impressive to see the sea and the thousands of lights from the terrace in the evening, which are extracted from the fishing boats, the villages of the Bay of Roses and the city of Figueras.

Guest access
There's a separate entrance for the apartment. The key handover is in Roses, where you can get the keys and where you can turn to if you have problems, I will let you know before your arrival.

There is a 150 EUR deposit to be left on arrival. Before departure, the deposit will be returned if no damage has been done by you and the apartment equipment is complete. Electricity must be paid according to consumption: 0.35 EUR per kw. If you arrive with a dog, EUR 10 must be paid for the final cleaning.
