It did not disappoint, with a beautiful apartment at a good price and spectacular views of the harbor. Kids in our group loved the outdoor pool on the 4th floor. The included breakfast buffet is in a casino across the street, and it is outstanding. Staff in the lobby are helpful. The only downsides were that the taxes and extra occupant fees pushed the price up, and the neighborhood is not great for walking due to sidewalks being crowded with people in the ferry area, and it is not convenient to any beaches."

The curtains in the main bedroom were hanging by only a few hooks. The dishes from the previous time was still in the dishwasher and clearly it was in there for a long time, even the dirt was growing. We had no water in the kitchen as the maintenance guys did not open the valve after they replaced the washing machine. There were no pots and hardly any cooking utensils, no kettle and one small pot that was left dirty under the sink. The pan in the oven was also dirty. We booked two bedrooms for 5 people and there were not enough towels and the towels that were there were past its best times. The couches in the sitting room are disgustingly dirty. We had issues with the DSTV but that was sorted and the second time I just left it and watch NetFlix instead. However, with all this, the manager did apologise and immediately got the cleaners involved. After the apartment was cleaned it was more acceptable. We did extend our stay after negotiating with the manager and I had to split my stay due to travelling and the manager allowed me to keep my stuff in the apartment although the cleaners did open and scratch in my bag. After all, the apartment is spacious but needs some attention to detail to make it more 'Luxury' as what they advertise it for and the cleaners need to be supervised properly. Otherwise apart from the dirty experience, you have enough space."

The place is near Goba shop market, there is local market where you can buy most of natural foods for you to cook.
There is also a supermarket near by, its walking distance about 300metres from the house.
The house is very near by the main Road.
From Dar city centre to Goba place is 25 kms, 45mins drive. From The airport to Goba centre via Mbezi mwisho road is 25 kms. And from Masaki to Goba is 20 kms and 40mins Drive.
From Goba to Mbezi beach is 7 kms about 10-15mins drive

The house is located in a safer environment within a gated compound

The property is in the shared compound with others. One self contained house in a compound. But very quite most of them are not around

Other things to note
Things to also note is on electricity usage.Power in Tanzania is usually expensive.
Since electricity is very expensive I am kindly requesting people to use it with sense of humor. Leave everything switched off when you leave the house. When the guest check in I usually put power of 50,000 tzs about 184 units. When a guest finish this units he / she purchase more power until her stays ends.
Fan is working properly and when especially not hot season I recommend to use the fan to save the power.
There is also a cleaning lady available to clean twice per week. She can help on washing the clothes and you can discuss the pay but usually starting from 5$ depending on the volume of the clothes.
